Name: Iron Endurance Rank: A Type: Physical Physical Requirements: Must Specialize in Weaponry or Taijutsu. Training Requirements: A 1600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: The final level in the art of endurance accessible to those who have undergone intensive training in increasing their raw power. The possessor of this talent has an increased strength of 60% which makes them remarkably tougher and harder to down. At this stage their endurance has transcended so high that they can now withstand even life threatening injuries and continue fighting, even at a point where others would have passed out. In addition, the user can now even fight through the effects of poison and paralysis.
The restaurant that Heiki sat it smelled old, mildew, and sour in his nose; old battered stools up to a no less clean counter that was holding his less than warm tea that he ordered. The old countryhouse café wasn’t something to write home about but after all Heiki had to get out of the snow. He didn’t think travelling any further without wearing out the stiffness in his legs would do him any good if he were to continue on.
The waitress came out from the revolving door. She held a large serving platter holding on it was the tea (not very good tea. Whenever Heiki took a sip, he felt the bitter taste of the poorly drawn out herb. It was like drinking water from the ground except it was warmer) and set it on the counter beside Heiki’s arm. She looks outside, the snow had picked up making visibility almost zero. “Shit weather we have tonight” she commented.
“It’ll pass” Heiki replied. He adjusts the hood to keep from her to look at him. Lord knows the deeper he gets to shinobi country, the deeper shit he was going to be in. Right now, he could say he was shin deep and that was a blessing at this time “Just a matter of when that is the case”
“Guess you right sugah” She replaced the err sound with a ahh and it gave her a hint of something that Heiki heard during his time in Iwagakure. “But let me ask you, why were you in weather like this? Lawd knows this isn’t safe weather for travellin’”
There was a silence among the two. Heiki listen to the wind breathe out shallow breathes onto the small café. He taps his finger on the ridges of the cup “I’m looking for someone. She had come across into this land and information lead me here and there and now to Snow Country. Thought I could get a lead on her before she set herself into another country”
“Ooohh, that sounds quite romantic. I wish I had a man travel around looking for me” she clasped her hands together and moved her head off in a dreamy state of bliss. She let out a sigh “Wow what lengths you must be going to find this woman. Is she beautiful? She must be. No person would travel the world, especially this place to find a woman. Oh, you are such a romantic”
The words went into Heiki’s ear and out the other. He cared not for what this woman had to say. He had lost track and focus among his surroundings and his mind had jumped back to the past; the past in which he remembered a certain woman. “I’m not responsible for people around me” the voice of the woman said. Such a shallow and cold voice she had, it was amazing that Heiki didn’t go nuts at the time when he heard it.
All those years ago, Heiki was given a task after a mission with the former Shantakai member Han. Heiki was given the course of action to deal with a group of missing nin who was disturbing the interest of the Shantakai. Normally, Kengen would not assign a mission of this caliber. His mind was all for anarchy. He liked the dishevelment of men and women rebelling against the system we today know as the Shinobi Empire. In normal circumstances, Kengen would let that situation be and let time do its course on the political system of sea country. What made him make send Heiki was the fact that it was going too fast for Kengen’s interest. If any, it would soon get out of the structure of Kengen’s eye and if that was the case then there would be issues in the later years. He would have to die down the fire just a bit.
This wasn’t Heiki’s first mission away from his sensei. He had proven himself as a very competent apprentice. He showed as much skill as the members who personally knew Kengen since the beginning. Since then, Heiki has gone on many requests with Sakumo and Han, the two people Kengen had put his trust into. Today was a different day. Heiki wasn’t assign with either two or Kengen, it was in fact a person that Kengen have been watchful since day one.
“Metaru Ayame” the message said in his mind only two days before Heiki set sail “A former shinobi from Iwagakure no Sato. She’s been in some questionable acts that I myself have my doubts upon loyalty. This request I’m sending you will not only deal with the political dealings of this known terrorist group but also an watchful eye on Ayame. I have great faith in you”
Faith or not, Heiki had his doubts that she would reveal herself to him. Whether she was openly blatant or not, his luck with woman, especially women who join a group like the Shantakai. They always have something wrong in the brain area. Not to say that women who join the Shantakai are crazy and maybe he was a bit bias about the fact that every woman he has dealt with was just as crazy as his mother but he didn’t think this would’ve been the perfect job for him.
He was digressing now. Matter of fact that was the only thing he could’ve done on this fishing boat that was getting the odor of seaweed and ocean water out of his mind. For two days he experienced the turbulent seas, he had calmly sat there as the fishermen worked their bodies not to turn over. Heiki thought this was one hell of a party and there weren’t even snacks for him to chow on.
He arrived in port the following morning. Walking off of the harbor and into the small sea village, the smell of fish and the ocean still filled his nostrils. He had a hood over his head to cover any sort of identity issues. He knew that the criminal activity was high in this country and any sign of shinobi-esque things would bring forth too much attention. Instead of running off of tree branch to tree branch, he decided to take the chance to walk on the path. He had his bag over his shoulder and walked at a mild pace with the few people that were walking along side him.
The village that Heiki arrived at was more or less the remnant of a ghost town settled in by people who moved out from the inner mainland. He sat down on one of the benches and leaned his head back. By the bench was a fish stand, carp of different colors and sizes that made a few of the villagers question the authenticity of freshness. He was listening to one conversation in particular that was going on with the fish merchant and a middle age man.
“The mainland is getting crazier and crazier” the merchant said “I had to move my stand twice to get business. If this madness keeps up I might have to move on to another country”
“Ah, it’ getting harder and harder to live nowadays. Now with this terrorist organization in the mainland and now a terrorist organization here, there isn’t a place to live anymore without worrying about your life”
The fisherman placed a fishy palm on his cheek “I just wished someone one take care of those people. They intruded our home and now they are wrecking it. I wish I could do something about it”
“We just have to accept it for now. Karma is a bitch so they’ll get something two fold” the man leaned down and had a finger hovering over the fish he was deciding to pick. “Have you seen that one lady that passed there here? The lady with that giant sword”
“Oh yeah” the merchant whistled a lively tune and used his hands to draw out the figure of the woman “For a woman who looks like that, you can’t not notice it. She was carrying something heavy along her back but what it was, I had no clue. I’m sure a few of the men would’ve gladly helped her”
“That woman may look pleasant to the eyes but she’s more or less something of a scary person. I don’t know why, she just have that aura around her that just makes her seem off. Do you know where she was heading off to? I don’t want to, you know, run into her”
“She’s out of the village apparently. She was here yesterday at that inn. The innkeeper, Teshi, told me that she didn’t talk much, paid in cash, came in the next day and left. Said she was heading inward.”
“Insane” the man replied. This was the last part Heiki listen into. He got up from the bench and heard the trace whispers of what each man was going to do if it escalated any further.
Heiki’s memories move further in time to that night. He had traversed far into the sea country forest. He knew he was getting closer to whatever was is inland as the smell of the sea was weaker the further he ran in. He noticed that there were signs of a struggle. Few of the branches and large portions of trees were cut into or chopped down completely. There was no mistaking this was the works of the Shantakai member. That conversation of how this woman was not only fierce but completely imbalanced in the head may Heiki consider his options of going back to the port and leaving.
His option was denied when his foot stepped onto a tag. Heiki heard the sizzling noise and looked underneath. The last thing he thought was “Here we go ag-“ he was caught in the crossfire when the tag underneath his feet exploded which caused another set of explosions to go off around him. Heiki had moved out of it in a seconds notice. If any, he would’ve subcome to the explosion and gotten more than just a little burn on his right and left arm. He slid across the forest floor and back into a tree. He glanced up and saw a large man coming down at him, his fist extended and a smile that was showing the fierce madness he had on his face. The large man rammed Heiki’s down into the ground creating a earth snow angel with Heiki’s body. This wasn’t looking too keen for Heiki as his annoyance with the fact that he got sideswiped by some random guy was irritating in of itself. The man then picked him up and proceeded into beating him mercilessly with his fist. The man had activated the eight gates, Heiki was sure of it. His hand movements were incredibly fast and Heiki could see that each punch made his muscles and bones were going a bit numb. He was twenty-one years old at the time and he had reached the point where no matter he did, he was going through that stage where anything a person threw at him would more or less feel like a light punch from a two year old child trying their hardest to hurt him. This was just a slight increase of that.
The man then slammed Heiki into the ground again. He lift up Heiki so they could meet eye to eye. Heiki turned his head to the side and let out a dry cough “You done?” Heiki asked. “If you are, do you mind moving out my way so I can meet this one chick? I’m sure you kn-“ he didn’t get a chance to finished as the brute smashed his head into the tree. Heiki was stuck between a hard place saying that this couldn’t get any better. It did. The brute then jumps up and double kicks him through the tree and into many unfortunate trees. Those brave trees, Heiki thought, will be missed dearly.
The brute was heaving, his chest moving in and out. He looked at his fist and saw that his hands were bleeding from the knuckles and partially from a few finger tips. Hitting without the eight gates would’ve broken them but now he was exhausted. “Good lord…what was that man-it felt like I was hitting a steel door.”
Like most things in the world when they are about to die, the usual last thought of that person who had lived in the living plain of existence into the dying usually have the question of “what happen?”. This is fairly typical especially the fact of the matter when a person doesn’t know what hit him. It was painless for the brute, Heiki had appeared in front of him. His fingers came together like a knife and he struck into the brute’s throat, through the larynx and thyroid gland, into his esophagus, through that bit of muscle tissue and into his spine where his hand shattered the spinal cord at the cervical region.
The brute body fell inward on itself immediately when Heiki pulled his hand out. Heiki bent down and wiped his hand clean onto the man’s vest. Heiki began picking out the shards of wood that was jabbed into his shoulder, arm and leg. “Well, that was a good welcoming. I see they started the main party without me” He was a bit surprised to find that he didn't feel much uncomfortable feeling with the amount of punching. He felt numb, perhaps far number than he could possibly imagine. However, it was a good numb. The numb you get when you stub your toe and you have that sensation where the endorphines just kick and the bliss is heavenly. He looked behind him and saw how there was a orange tint of color that was dimly vibrating out into the forest. He suppose that was his next place to go “Well, let’s start this little shing dig” His body creates an afterimage of himself and he was sprinting in the forest yelling out “Yahooooo!” throughout.

Name: Elite Evasiveness Rank: A Type: Physical Physical Requirements: Must specialize in Taijutsu or Medical. Training Requirements: A 1600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: With further training and a now natural instinct to keep oneself alive under all circumstances the user now gains this characteristic. The ninja now has perfect evasive talents which allows them to perform a limitless array of stunts and maneuvers to escape physical attacks. Their movements become so fluid and precise that they can even dodge dozens of weapons from all angles by performing quick maneuvers that can range from somersaults, black flips, and other forms of physical motions. Essentially only unavoidable forms of attacks can hit a evasive expert in their prime.
The village that Heiki arrived to was already in a number of shambles. Ayame already did the job already so he took notice that she wasn’t the most patience of people to be acquainted with. Heiki looks forward and finds that the bodies had been cut into many pieces. He didn’t find bodies of the nukenin but also bodies of villagers; men, women and children alike. He lifted up the set masked he had over his face so he wouldn’t smell in the smoke. It was potent enough to smell the fire but it was really potent when you smell burning of human remnants of hair, flesh and feces, it wasn’t a pleasant smell. Even if Heiki had gotten use to the rancidness, it was the memories that was flooding into him that he didn’t want to remember.
There was a large scream that echoed rather loudly through the village. Heiki’s attention went over to the sound. It sounded it was coming from the south end of the village. Just like a teacher telling him he was right, a large shock of lightning cut into a building continuing on its path of destruction aiming down the center path that was the entrance. Heiki saw this and immediately cartwheeled out of the path of the lightning. The lightning continued its forward motion into the entrance gate splitting in two. Each piece fell the opposite of each other, one fell into the building that was on fire while the other one had dropped the opposite way. Heiki whistles “Damn, someone is PMSing.” There was another scream, it came from the same direction but the lightning didn’t come towards this time but rather towards the east direction. Heiki had to move to this location and fast too. He hurried across the burned path the lightning that created. He jumped up on top of the buildings that weren’t affected by the fire as of yet. He views over the rooftop a woman with a large sword swinging frantically around at the buildings.
“Stop it!” She screamed in a laughing and crying way that was only obtainable by the most questionable of people “I am nothing! I am something! What am I!?” She kept on swinging the sword in frantic motions. The people that were down there were shinobi from sea country, the headbands with the slash mark across the protector. Heiki saw them backing away from the woman, trying to escape. There was none. Behind them was a house that could spell death for them by flame, the other side was a derange woman who was laughing and crying all at once and randomly swing the blade at them.
The one man had his hands up, backing away with the three more men and one woman behind him. Heiki had never seen such terrified looks in his life. Not even when he was rampaging through a village during the Kumogakure wars had he ever seen or had a chance to see what the faces of his victims were. They were cornered, prey that had no escape and no place to hide. The only thing left for them was death.
“Am I worthless to you?” the woman said pointing at the main man in front “Do you think of me as worthless? Am I anything towards you?!?”
“L-L-Lady” The man stuttered “Please let us go, we were just following orders. We’ll give back all of the stuff we stole from the people an return their lands just please don’t kill us. Please!” he was pleading, quickly speaking now “Please, please, please, please don’t kill us”
“I gave you everything.” The woman wasn’t even listening to him anymore. She was edging towards the four of them, the blade, if you could call it that with its deranged looking that appeared to not only cut but shred and be extremely blunt all in one weapon. It was looking its weight when the woman drags it across the ground and it was deep into the soil. “I just wanted to please you papa…I wanted to make you proud of me…” she picks up the sword with both hands and ran forward, a blaze of speed as she swipes at two of men, cutting them entirely in half. The woman screamed and got down on her knees out of pure shock as every muscle in her body just went numb. The other man didn’t have a chance to scream as the blade drove itself into the man’s skull and split him into two. That woman was like ripping paper.
The woman shuddered, cold sweat perspired off her body as she looked up at the woman. The crazed woman had glazed eyes that saw the past and not the present. She had no idea who that shuddering woman was. All she saw was her painful past and that’s how the crazed woman saw this woman even as she swiped at her head, beheading her cleanly. Her headless body fell back and onto the soil, blood trickling out of the large orpheaus of a hole that was once the support of a well endowed head.
Heiki took that moment to step in, seeing that every person that he was assign to had totally been wiped out, hey less work for him to do. Hell, he did get his head put into a few trees, punched into the ground, shards of wood stuck into his body plus a brute smashing him for a good minute just wailing on his body until his body gave so hey, less work for him to do.
“Awesome job” Heiki said as he landed on the ground. He regretted making a sound as the crazed woman turned around. The ragged look of a woman who had gone through a long struggle, her hair was drenched and matted with sweat, there was crust over the edges of her lips from her licking her lips, her chocolate brown eyes that would smooth its way into men and women’s hearts alike had turned into a shallow dark brown to an almost midnight black. That woman was there but was deep inside and locked by something. “Oh yeah” Heiki said softly “She is really PMSing”
“I don’t like you” She said in a low voice “I don’t like you at all. You’re here to take me back aren’t you?”
“Take you back?” The hell was she talking about? Heiki titled his eyes and his brow furrowed unaware as to what this woman was even going on about “What in the hell-“
She snarled at him like a dog with rabies “I won’t go back. You can’t take me back! I refuse to go back! I’ll kill you before you take me” he grinned a horrifying grin and then it turned into a frown. Tears ran down her eyes and she was laughing and crying again.
“Listen, if I met you in the past and we had gotten, you know, down with the jiggy, then I have to say I have no recollection of you. It probably never happen because frankly, you are sounding too nutty for my taste. I like a good almond or so but you ma’am are-“ He was cut short with her speed and her blade almost slicing at his head to decapitate him like the woman but unlike her, his reaction was too quick for her. He doesn’t particular like getting cut with swords. Punches? Yes, that’s fine. Kunai and Shuriken? Hell, not his favorite but he’ll take that before a large piece of metal that looked like it was forged from a hell’s blacksmith.
Heiki jumps up, spinning up and over Ayame. He reached into his cloak, his chakra sent a signal towards one of the seals holding his kunai and two kunai formed into his hand. His hands dimly lit into a purple light and there was a seal that formed around it. He threw it out as he was landing to pierce the woman but with her blade she blocked it. His hand clenched together into a fist and he slams it down on the ground “Smokin!” He yelled and smashes the ground shattering the earth upward. The earth startled the woman and she almost lost her balance. She did quickly jump into the air and onto one of the rooftops. Heiki jumps up and reaches into his cloak again, this time pulling out three kunai. Two kunai he threw at her and one he threw randomly in that open space between the inferno ring that was forming with the buildings. The two kunai, again, was blocked by the woman. She laughed and Heiki laughed as well. This made her twitch in the head and she leapt forward. Heiki did likewise, leaping into the air to meet the woman.
Heiki side kicked the woman but the blade had blocked it. Heiki used this time to push off of it and dodge another swing from the woman. She was free-falling but that didn’t stop her. The blade began to form lighting around the edges of the blade and she began to spin in with her hand. Heiki landed on the ground. Within the spinning, she began to generate a large course of lighting, lighting the smoky sky with blue electrical light. The blade then released this energy out into that area, sending tiny balls of lighting out. Heiki had to watch and look at the movements of lighting. They were coming in fast and were very swift. Heiki back flipped two times to avoid four of them that were coming. Before he could settle, he had to spin on his hands and then jump up with his palms before the lighting struck that part. Parts of the lightning destroyed parts of the building, causing shards to fly out.
“Woohoo!” Heiki said in his astonishment. His body reactively moved with the shards. Like his sensei taught him long ago, do not fight it, just flow. The flow of the shards was straight so he jumps at an angle, spinning over the shards that were coming at his height. If he didn’t dodge, the shards would’ve ripped into his stomach. Heiki landed on his both hands and feet and jumped up onto the rooftop.
She lands, her blade still producing a fierce lightning that was bright to the eyes. Heiki had his hands already in the tiger seal shouting out “Katsu!” The kunai that were planted into the ground had lit up into a red haze. The seal lamented itself underneath the woman’s feet. She looks down at them, eyes puzzled curious as to what it was that she was trapped into “Extreme barrier seal” his hands clasp together. The weight around the woman’s body began to bear down on her, she immediately fell down onto her hands and knees. He could see the struggle she was giving, grunting, trying her muscles to move in this intense weight. Even if she could move, just slightly to stand up, Heiki would be able to move around in it easily.
“Please!” she shouted, almost in a begging voice “No more pain! No more! It hurts, it hurts!” She just started to cry now, no longer laughing behind the tears but a general tears behind it. Heiki looked at her, tears falling from her face and all, and realized that this woman was broken. Indeed, broken. In that instant, he knew who it was and didn’t wish to know anything else about her. He looked at her, sighed and released the handseal and the weight fell off her in an instant. Her head moves up to see if Heiki was still there but he was gone. She had no recollection of the night and the person she fought that gave her trouble. Only in her dreams did she remember the white haired man who danced away the dance of death with her sword.
His eyes open up back to the restaurant, the woman was still going on and on about how romantic it was for a man to search for a woman. There was absolutely nothing fantastic about searching for women. Not women like this. Whomever this person was, she wasn’t in any mood in finding her like he did trying to find Ayame all those years ago. They always lead her into trouble and he wasn’t a person who wanted trouble. He took another sip of his tea. Dammit, it was frigid cold now.
