Summon jutsu, Slug Edition (training)

The shifting hails of sand pounding underneath a young boy’s feet, passing though the waterless sea along side his guide, being driven with his will to learn and grow in a brand new home amongst the furthest part of his own elemental background. Aki as his name was spoken as was amongst a blood line known across the nation of water, leading events though is own short time already lived on this earth has driven the lad to pressure an entirely new life amongst the neighboring country of wind. It was a hard choice to make leaving everything behind to start late in a fresh new environment however it was his choice and he made it with such zeal he believed that he would not hold regret about it later on life. The road to the hidden village in the sand, suna was hard to say the least for Aki, it was all things his body was not accustomed to, extreme heat as opposed to the cooling climate of kiri, changing surface from solid ice to particles of rock. At all was a drastic change he would need to learn to get use to in order to fit in with the rest of his soon to be peers and fellow man. It was already the second week for him and his guide traveling across the continent and Aki was actually getting use to the entire trip, a few things went wrong though as did all trips, a snake bite leading to a fever, the older gent gambling out a good chunk of their travel money and other harmless stuff like that. Didn’t matter too much though Aki had more then enough stuff to live off of for a while when he got to suna as the arrangements his family made with an old friend would insure the boy a health life style regardless of rather or not he would fulfill his wish of being a shinobi. It was only a two day trip from their location now with a good week left of supplies so Aki and his guide could have taken a good rest before trading further into the desert, only really was the boy tired. Being 8 and traveling so much on foot and a person could sympathize with him.

One night on the site of their camp Aki went off to play a little in a near by patch of water and rare greenery while the man was sleeping off his sorness. It wasn’t that far and will within eyes sight of the camp fire so there was hardly any danger for the boy. Coming up to it Aki notice a odd moving aboject amongst the sand shores of a pool of water, looking closely in the darkness he could see that it was actually a small blue slug nearing its death. Now despite being such a small for a life Aki felt a good sense of sympathy for the poor thing and quickly picked it up and rushed it over to a damper part of the pound. Its was fairly slimy, cold and very hold to hold on too but Aki did managed to get the poor thing the body of water in time, just feelings the life giving liquid the slug instantly came to life and started to swim around Aki’s hand for while, trying to tell him his thanks. He smiled and went off back to the camp fire to rest after washing himself off a little. The next day as the sun’s rays bounced off his snow like complication and the sleep rubbing off his eyes Aki felt a strange coldness to his face, a cooling moist gel that was strangely familiar. Opening his eyes he saw the same slug on top of his check just nodding his eye at him like a poking stick. Aki jumped up from his sleep and gave out a good yelp of surprise “ AHHHH” he cried as the thing would not get off his face and just stood their to what looked like laughed.

“ hahah sorry about that, I just wanted to think you for last night, I would have been a goner if you hadn’t found me, my name is Kagmi please to meet you young sir” the slug spoke as Aki claimed down

“ Oh don’t mention it at all my name is…wait the slug talking to me…WHAT THE HELL? THE SLUG IS TALKING TO ME?” Aki screamed as the commotion awoke the other man.

“ What is the matter Aki? Why are you yelling at this hour?”

“ THERE IS A BLOODY SLUG ON MY FACE AND ITS TALKING”

“ Hello there”

The man just laughed and slapped aki on his back in good gesture, he should have know it was for a silly reason like talking animal that made the young master so jumpy, he was just too young to understand the world outside his village. Course this was a great oppertaintiy for him.

“ Haha Aki you didn’t think humans held a monopoly on speech did you? Lots of animals and other supernatural hold the power to communicate with humans.”

“ Oh…ok then…. Well sorry about that kagmi it was just a all of a sudden this odd…oh never mind, My name is Lesada Aki”

“ Hahaha I pay it no mind, its good to meet with your Aki, may I ask where it is your going?”

“ I’m heading the hidden village in the sand, Suna where I’m going to learn how to become a Shinobi”

“ Interesting… Will you allow me to join you?”

“ I don’t see why not but why do you want to come to suna?”

“ I came to this world seeking to train myself as well though I accidentally came up here with little understanding of what I was getting into. It was so dry that I was knew something like this would happen but I was too stubborn to go back so soon. If it was not for you I would have surly perished and to show my thanks I would to be your company and help you in any way I can, just as you’ve helped me”

“ Sure kagmi you can come with us, though I’m not sure what a small slug can do but I’m happy to have you along, you might dry up again if I’m not around anyways haha”

(present time period)

The three of them soon after went on their way to suna, once there Aki and kagmi lived together in the same apartment as room mates while the man that helped them get there vanished into memory. Years to come Aki trained in the Academy until the day of his graduation where a few people cheered for the outsider. Running home as fast as he could weaning proudly his head band he soon rush in the door over to his friends’ next. The years had been kind to both of them, Aki grew into a kind teen while Kagmi grew large then a human, training her own skills while her friend was away.

“Kagmi, Kagmi guess what, I Graduated with fully privileges as a shinobi!! I actually did it!! “

“ Hahaha I knew you could do it Aki, look here I have a gift for you as congratulation

Looking down next to the slug he notice a large scrolled up laid out over his bed, names coated in red were inscribed the long sheet. Aki grew close looking at it still a little puzzled at the present.

“ Err… a scroll with names?”

“ Not quite, it’s a contract to a special type of jutsu, its used to summon allies of my spices to your side. Just right your name in blood and you can call on anyone from the slug world to your side, rather or not they help you is up to your presentation of a reason so don’t try anything to reackless, keep getting strong you you’ll eventually be able to call forth great power”

“ ohh nice I get it!”

Bring his thumb to his mouth and quickly biting it down before leaking out his name in the red crimson on the paper, fully named and finger prints, it rolled up and vanquished into smoke as aki healed up the bite mark.

“ Now what?”

“Well first you need to mold your chakra into hand, then picturing the type of summon you wish to perform, all slugs have different powers and abilities trained in a variety of ways. Their strength will be determined by how much chakra you put into it. Give it a shot the head seals are dog, dragon. Monkey, pig…”

Aki and Kagmi left off into training their in the room, for hours Aki trying master the summoning signs and actually calling forth the right level of animal, mostly he got eggs at first or evil the really young slugs that spat in his face for his inexperience. But after a while he finally called out the strongest slug in terms of his current own level which happen to be Kagmi. Happily laughing in joy at his new rank as a genin and his newest jutsu the boy and his best friend slept from exhaustion awaiting for the next adventure together.
