| Yamanka, Marisha.THE INFO. Name: Ogawa, Marisha Nickname: Mari and Siren Age: 14 Gender: Female Appearance: Mari is a petite girl only weighing 103 lbs for her height of 5'1". She has dull red hair, usually tied back into a neat pony-tail that looks like it took forever to make. When her hair is actually down it is relatively straight and runs a few inches past her shoulders. Also to go with all of this she has grey eyes.
Her attire when on a mission usually consists of a long white t-shirt, that flows a few inches past her waist, with 4 belts that loop around her variously across her belly, waist, and below waist region. To go with the white shirt, she wears a dull gray scarf that lies loosely on there, though it never falls; and she also wears fingerless, elbow length gloves. Below all that she wears black pants that fit snugly against her strong legs, and some unique blue glasses that have the appearance of blinds that are carried by the loop of her pants. To finish up the outfit she wears black converses. Though when not on a mission, she keeps style comfortable; usually consisting of some type of bright colorful shirt, and shorts.
Personality:
Dissociative identity disorder (DID) is a mental illness that involves the sufferer experiencing at least two clear identities or personality states, each of which has a fairly consistent way of viewing and relating to the world. Some individuals with DID have been found to have personality states that have distinctly different ways of reacting, in terms of emotions, pulse, blood pressure, and blood flow to the brain. This disorder was formerly called multiple personality disorder (MPD) and is often referred to as split personality disorder.
Such an illness has stricken Mari; causing her two have two definitive personalities; Mari and Siren. While Mari remains the dominant personality, there still are multiple and random occasions that Siren takes over, leaving Mari with little to no memories of the incident or incidents. Most of the time, they seem to be dreams or faint memories, leaving Mari confused when she finds the area of the memory. Although most separate personalities seem to require a strong emotion as a trigger to come out, Siren will just randomly take over, disregarding the situation. This has tended to lead to some embarrassing situations in the past. Another interesting note is that Siren and Mari can communicate with each other, not via meditation, but by staring in a reflective surface. This also has lead to a few awkward situations more than once.
Mari:
Mari is the main personality. She encompasses the happier side of life; she can be creative, spontaneous, cautious, driven, and still have the time of her life. She always wears her heart on her sleeve and she is very kind, always the one to help the needy. Even though she is all of these things she still has a shy side and she can be extremely self-conscious, but that doesn't stop her for making friends quickly. Conflict between people she cares about is the worst thing to ever happen in Mari's eyes and she'd do anything to stop it. If engaged in an argument herself she will admit to defeat even if she is right.
Being the honest and kind person she tends to be, she tends to hear more than she would like. People just usually like to tell her all of their dark secrets and it causes very awkward situations for poor Mari. Although she is a good listener it does not mean that she is not good at giving advice, if giving permission she will be fully blunt and tell you how it is and what to do.
Mari's biggest problem would be her people-pleasing; she has the worst time saying no to people. She isn't exactly spineless; it's just that she would rather help people out then cause a big commotion by saying no. By not having the real ability to say no, Mari finds herself overwhelmed with too many things to do and often causing lots of stress on her part, and causing herself doubt.
When she is called to do her duty however, her entire personality seems to change, and become more focused, more confident. She is a sight to watch in battle, and can actually be very blunt and out spoken in such scenarios, her mind being focused on something else than the supposed flaws that have been pointed out to her throughout her life. Her true self shines in these moments; a confident, intelligent, courageous woman who cares for people.
Siren:
Siren is the second personality. She has a strict definition on what is perfect and when things don't fit her definition then casts it aside. Siren even expects herself to perfect and is filled with rage when she can't do what she expects of herself. She's always striving to make herself better, by reading and training until she can't anymore.
Siren feels that she has to protect Mari, and that Mari is weak. So when she feels like Mari is endangered or just not handling the situation right, she jumps in. And she will do anything to protect Mari and whoever Mari holds dear; anything, she'll tear apart anyone who harms them emotionally and physically.

Just far enough so she can get a handle on her situation, and make up a quick plan, even though she doesn’t normally follow that plan. Once she’s settled and ready, she usually dives into close combat and go swinging with all she has. During the fight she is resilient, aggressive, and crafty. She’s also not afraid to throw in a few cheap tricks to get the upper hand.

Description: The first level in the art of strength accessible to those who have undergone intensive training in increasing their raw power. The possessor of this talent has an increased strength of 20% which makes them slightly stronger. They can lift larger objects such as large rocks and toss them considerable distances. They can also now naturally deliver more powerful physical blows that can cause agonizing damage to targets.
THE BACKGROUND. History: Mari was born with a terrible disease that nearly killed her when she was first born, and it continued to destroy her life as a toddler by making her susceptible to every disease that went around. Luckily, Mari was born to a very rich family that paid for top-notch med-ninjas to always come in and heal her of every disease or injury no matter how small. Even though they did everything money could afford to keep her happy, they could not let word get out of a sickly child being born to them; so they kept her a secret. For the first five years of Mayumi’s life she never even left her own yard. To others that would be sure hell, but to a girl who didn’t know the outside world, it didn’t bother her. Even though she didn’t know what the outside world was really like, she did read about it all the time in her books. One particular book was her favorite; it was the story of a powerful kunoichi who dreamed of being hokage one day. This girl nearly got what she wanted one day, but instead she let her heart get stolen by a boy, who wasn’t morally right, and later he went crazy and killed her, and because of that cursed heart she couldn’t even raise a finger against him. This very book brought a dream in Mari, a dream to be a kunoichi. Mari wanted to be powerful and do everything that the kunoichi in her book did, except for give her heart away; she knew from her book that could be fatal. So, she pledged that she would one day become a kunoichi but not ever fall in love.
Later on, after gaining some courage, Mari asked her father to enroll her into the academy. This scared the living daylights out of him, not only was his daughter too young but to him she was still fragile, even though she hadn’t gotten sick in a very long time. Struggling over saying no to his little princess, he reluctantly agreed, but changed the deal. Instead of her going to the academy she would be privately trained.
This all made Mari really happy, she was going to be more than just a strange kid, and she was going to be a kunoichi. After waiting a year after her father’s promise, he finally got her a tutor and she began to train. She trained in genjutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu, and all the other typical studies that ninja have to learn. Of course she didn’t get all this knowledge from her tutor, but she did get some from her father who also pitched in to train her from time to time.
After a few years of training Mari finally graduated and became a genin. By seeing his daughter grow and grow, Mayumi’s father agreed and decided she could have a real shinobi experience and see what it was like to be around kids her age and to do real missions. This is where her journey is now, but this far from where it ends.

Mayumi’s hand brushed against the pale face of her victim, fear was clearly evident in his face. A look of anger crossed her face as she watched him flinch beneath her touch. He’s already beginning to crack? How sad. Pulling her hand back she upper-cutted the poor fellow sending him flying back, his tied feet and hands trying to push himself back up but there was no use. Coming in closer, she knelt down and kissed his forehead, a more evident flinch came from him as she stood back up to her full height of 5’4”.
“O’ there’s no reason in being scared. It’s not like it will make anything better.”
”Leave him alone!
Looking to her right, Mayumi gave a gaze that said “If looks could kill, your ass would be grass.” There just to the right was a simple mirror with Mayumi’s face in it, but at the same time it wasn’t Mayumi. Instead of the determined, angry girl, there stood a scared girl just looking back at her. Rolling her eyes, and brushing her bright red hair away from her face, Mayumi turned away from the “other girl”.
”Don’t ignore me! This isn’t right what you’re doing!”
”O shutup Siren, You are weak! If we let this man live he’ll just go around doing what he was doing before!”
”He didn’t do anything wrong!”
”O’ I beg to differ, he sold me one disgusting apple, and now he’ll pay.”
Without another word, Mayumi turned back to her target and gave a swift kick to the back of his head. Blood began to stain the man’s brown hair as it gushed out all over the floor. Screams filled the almost empty white room as the man bellowed in pain. With another glance to Siren, Mayumi smiled, it was obvious just from that one glance that Siren was crying over this man’s pain even though it wasn’t her own. Doing a 180, Mayumi turned and casually walked out of the room leaving the man behind as he slowly died.
”And this is why you need me.”

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them. Chakra Cost: 4
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 3

The ninja will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Name: Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu - Mist Servant Technique Rank: D Type: Genjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that creates false attackers to delay and confuse the enemy. Though these servants are not real, the actual ninja is able to remain hidden and throw kunai and shuriken matching the movements of the servants. This makes it appear the false servants are capable of attacking. When the enemy attempts to attack the servant, they will merely disrupt the servants illusion body but not destroy it.
