The day was a bright one, if a tad bit on the warm side. Yet, none in the village know as Konoha would complain. It was a beautiful day and a day that was perfect for work. At least, that is what the unnamed shinobi carrying random reports to their destination thought. He wore regular clothes, nothing to distinguish him from the dozens working in the administration building who passed by him going to their respective duties. He had a good job. Though the formal name was Logistics Currier, the shinobi knew that he was little more than a mail boy. He did not mind, he knew that somebody had to do it and some even had far worse jobs like being gate guards. Nothing truly exciting happened there since the war ended. His job however, had him interacting with many people. Take his next delivery for example, the office of the Hokage. Though he only exchanged the usual pleasantries, the mere fact that he got to meet and talk to the Hokage more than once while others would spend the rest of their lives not even meeting the leader once, was truly a perk of the job. The shinobi would park his mail car perpendicular to the door and would extend his hand. Three respectful, but firm knocks were given. He waited for a response but none came. Perhaps the Hokage was away from the desk. A small sigh escaped the shinobi as he placed the medical report in the Hokage’s inbox to be read later. He had never opened the packages he delivered but if he had, this one in particular would have read as such:

“To: Honorable Hokage.
From: Akima, Nabuto. Medical Team Six.
Via: Medical Administration.
Subject: Situational Report.
Lady Hokage,
The following is a report situational report on conditions that require your knowledge, if not your attention. On the morning of June 27, two individuals, one male approximate age 15 and one female, approximate age mid thirties, were delivered to the village gates by and animal fitting the description of a large elk. The female subject, later identified as Inuzuka Atsui by her father Inuzuka Ryuuko, died at the scene from a laceration believed to be caused by some sort of blade. The male subject, currently being refered to as as ‘Ken’ for lack of further identification, was found unconscious and was taken by myself and Sanso Aku, to the hospital were Medical Team Seven, proceeded to resuscitate him. Subject is alive and with the exception of temporary memory loss, has exhibited no further ailments or health issues. All applicable tests have been performed and all tests have come back stating that the subject is healthy. Inuzuka Ryuuko has requested custody of the child and I would like to recommend such custody be granted. The hospital will continue to monitor the subject’s progress. Also, Ken has requested to be allowed to enter the Academy and being that he is much too old to do so normally, your authorization is being requested. On this matter I too submit my recommendation. All further inquiries and recommendation will be addressed and answered to the fullest ability possible.
