Lan Fan is a really tomboyish looking girl who still maintains her feminine nature, standing about five feet three inches with short cropped black hair and a thin frame. She is pretty muscular for her age, but not so much so that it would cause health problems. Her eyes are the traditional, and only color of the Hyuuga eye, and that's an odd pale color. Words to describe her would be lithe and flexible, with the ability for easy movement. Her garb consists of black pants, black boots, and a black hooded jacket with armor over the chest, back, and shoulders. Lan Fan’s left arm was destroyed, and to replace it she was outfitted with a fully maneuverable and detachable metal arm known as an Auto Mail, within her clothing there are many spots to hide weapons for easy access. The metal arm is hidden within the sleeves of her clothing at most times, wearing gloves on her hands so that the metal fingers are not noticed, she does not do this because she is afraid of what people will think, but for tactical purposes.

Personality:

Lan Fan is a modest and proud woman who takes immense pleasure in performing martial arts. She has an intense love for the practitioners of any form of hand to hand combat, and because of this she has a mutual respect for many fighters within the world, making her a very open and receptive person to foreigners. To many she a kind and well known woman who takes pride in her work, and because of her pride she feels that she should serve a better purpose, to strive and better the world despite the odds placed against her. Lan Fan is a powerful woman and also has immense pride in her name and heritage.

She is cool in the head, decisive and does not take a loss as a defeat, merely a learning experience. She is forever loyal to those she makes as friends, and yet understands that because of her role as a ninja she may often find herself in unpleasant situations. She is typically good with people, especially her elders and all around enjoys the company of those who practice the martial arts.

Lan Fan is generally passive to those who she does not know, though should they cause trouble she will do all in her power to smite them, simply because she frowns upon disrespect to others. She has a high resolve, and is not easily frightened nor persuaded from her ideals or goals. She has a strong sense of justice and will try her damnedest to accomplish her ideologies; she views herself as a type of hero figure and aspires to save the world with her special brand of justice.

THE BACKGROUND.

History:

The Fall:

A group of women would be seen holding the hands of a cute young girl. The girl was dazed and confused, but was otherwise happy that she was getting so much attention. The women were members of her mother's house, all Hyuuga members who knew their ninja arts well. However, unknown to her at the time she was being taken away from her family, including her brother Yin, whom she had formed a close bond with the young one year old infant. The sense of trouble was hidden from her, as hundreds of people fled the village of Konohogakure from something that was unseen to her. She would be picked up and placed into a carriage with her other clan members, and hauled away to a safer location. This is when she began to cry, realizing that she was leaving without her mother, father, and brother. Shortly after she cried herself to sleep in the arms of another woman and woke upon in an unknown room in an unknown land.

Adjusting:

The young girl known as Lan Fan was now eight years old, having spent three years without a single clue as to where her family was, she simply learned to accept their disappearance as a part of her life. Though, there were still nights that she would lay awake, looking at the stars, wondering where they were or if they were okay. She would ask her family members, but they would reply with answers that did not fulfill her answers, for they honestly had no clue either. She had come to find out that she was in the village of Kumogakure, and when she turned seven she decided that she wanted to advance herself. It was then, that she went to the Academy in Kumogakure and remained until she was eleven, learning Hyuuga martial arts all the while, and learning to her proficiency with weaponry, and began to teach herself the Dragon's Pulse.

Rising:

At the age of thirteen now, she would have developed a heightened prowess for marital arts and the use of weaponry. Her skills with the Byakugan were phenomenal for a child of her age. This is when Lan Fan became very interested in her history and heritage, coupled with that and her clan her pride for both soared. As a genin she performed very well for the village, until one day on a mission she lost her left arm. It was a horrible loss for her, and a blow to her moral, but for her country she knew that she could not allow that to defeat her. This is when she heard of the technology known as AutoMail, which would allow her to continue on her path as a ninja. At the age of thirteen she was given the new arm, having to endure six months of hard rehabilitation. When she became fourteen she became more focused, and serious, knowing that her chances to save the world were limited, and so it was that at the age of fifteen she was fully fledged in her art. Now, during this age she returned back to Konoha, a ninja bred in a different culture.

Byakugan "White Eye" is a dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga clan. This technique is the activation of the ability from the eyes previous dormant state. When activated the users lavender eyes become more focused, their pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one small blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The user is able to see into vasts distances in which a regular eye cannot behold. They are capable of seeing insects behind trees with distinct perception and look behind wall with the Byakugan's ability. The third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, chakra flow as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. It was also noted that the Byakugan can also discern a transformation and a real person using the eye's ability to see chakra, as well as barriers. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from member to member. [C-Ranked] users are able to see 100m in radius. [B-Ranked] uses are able to see 500m in radius. [A-Ranked] users are able to extend 800m in radius. And finally [S-Ranked] users are able to extend 2km in radius.

Byakugan gives the clan member an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. This allows the member to see all angles of attack. If an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.

With their natural flexibility, they can reach any point around themselves, allowing them to hit any target within their field of vision. While using this jutsu, the user moves extremely fast (their movements become a blur), allowing them to hit hundreds of targets with extreme precision, much like the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. It is so precise that it can cut smaller targets (like bees) in half. The technique is powerful enough to knock back a a boulder. With the addition of the users flexibility, the technique creates an "absolute defense" effect similar to that of the Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, though the cutting nature of the chakra prevents any outside force from restricting it. This allows for them to throw false feint punches or kicks, and actually allows them to hurt. The amount of damage varies per rank of the jutsu used. At C rank, in can cause minor bruises, and muscle stiffness. At B ranked it can do the previous, and it can cause major bruises, and can break the skin. At A rank it does the previous, it can cut the skin, and has the ability to break bones. At S ranked this technique has the ability to punch through boulders as if it were a hot knife through butter.

Description:

The Gentle Fist (柔拳, Jūken) or Gentle Fist Style (柔拳法, Jūkenpō) is a form of hand-to-hand combat used by members of the Hyūga clan. It inflicts internal damage and disrupt the body's Chakra Pathway System so as to ultimately inhibit an opponent's use of chakra. To do this, the user surgically injects a small amount of their own chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. The infiltrating chakra can then be used to disrupt or divert chakra flow, preventing them from using jutsu.Targeting the Tenketsu can enhance the havoc and control a Jūken user can impose upon an opponent's chakra network. These special nodes, 361 in total, are key gate-keeping interceptions in the chakra circulatory network, thus forcibly opening or sealing them in whatever manner the Jūken-user sees fit is a powerful tactical option to have. Harming the chakra network in this way can directly damage internal organs due to their proximity to the chakra circulatory system. A steel alloy mechanized arm that is insulated with rubber to prevent the user from being shocked to death. It is more light weight then the average human arm, but retains a hardness that allows it to remain functional. This arm is connected to the nerves of the user, thus working as a normal functioning arm, meaning that full movement is there, and it can have chakra passed through it, though the user does not feel the pain inflicted upon the metal. The arm is able to rotate all the way behind the user at the shoulder, at the elbow it can rotate in a three hundred and sixty degree area, and the wrist can swivel in all directions. At the bottom of the elbow, there is a hidden blade, that when activated extends from the elbow to the full length of two feet. When the blade is not extended, there is a sharp point that hides the tip of the blade from view, this tip acts as another tool to stab people. On the knuckles there are spikes that are made of a hardened carbon alloy, close to the hardness of diamond, used to easily bludgeon those who are hit with it. Within the forearm there are three smoke bombs at are dispensed via the opening of a door within the palm. Within the fingers are coil and pulley systems that have invisible wire wrapped within and can be released via the tip of the finger (nail part, and bottom of nail part)

-Unless Todd has more to say about the now "Studded Knuckles", I don't see anything wrong with this. Though the spacing for your jutsu and whatnot could use some cleaning up...I'll leave it up to you to fix that though.

-And yes, I see that your blade is special for your arm and that it extends from the elbow. Very cool. Thanks for clarifying that.
