The boy has learned of a tournament that was going to occur in the Moon Country. It had different barracks for ranking shinobi so it would be fair for a genin to win the tournament. He notified Ayame that the tournament was going to happen and hopefully she would come and participate or even just cheering him on would be good enough. He just wanted someone to talk to on the way, and someone to cheer him on and the Konoha spirit. Hopefully Ayame got the the message and they would meet him there, hopefully she wouldn't force him to have to go alone!

The boy had gotten stronger and he wanted to test out his skills and might as well get a prize for it. He wanted the rest of Gurentai to go, some went the second they heard. Some didn't go because of troubles here, but Midara would go. Hopefully he wouldn't be to long and something tragic happen to all of Konoha. At least he'd know that some of his Gurentai members will be safe from harm. In order to get to the Moon Country, they would have to leave early and get to the docks, Midara asked Ayame to meet him at the docks.

The boy wore his Gurentai uniform which consisted of his ANBU outfit, a white cloak, Gurentai tanto and other small things. He really liked the way he looked, he always wore the same style, but he had more than one outfits. He stood there with his necklace and his headband on his forehead. He had his hair in a ponytail that went into the back of the cloak. The sun was bright, but it was also cloudy. It might rain.

The boy stood before the docks ticket booth and he was really jumpy. The boat was about to leave and Ayame wasn't there. Or at least she wasn't there yet. He would give her two more minutes before he would go on a dead sprint to the boat. This was the only boat going to where he needed to go. 'Hurry...Hurry'

The boy had feelings for the girl. Something he did not want to happen at all. He felt like a man though, he felt good. His body was covered with a ray of happiness and it was something very enjoyable. It made Midara feel overall more relaxed and kept his morale high. The only thing was that he was didn't want the imagine of having a girlfriend. It wasn't bad or anything, it was just the fact that he was a leader of a group and she was one of the members, it only looked bad. Even though it wasn't necessarily bad at all.

He waited for the girl, then he saw her. She was running because she was running late. Midara simply thought she was at another part of the docks, but she was just late. A smile appeared upon the boys face as the girl was running closer and closer. She fell to the floor catching for her breathe, she was getting faster, but she seemed a little tired. Not tired enough to walk but it looked like she came from a dead sprint. Sprinting will take so much out of you, so this wasn't a surprise to Midara. "When you are tired after running, keep your back straight. It helps air get to the lungs better." he said with a smile as the girl started to bring her back up. Then she grabbed the boys hand. He didn't mind.

The two walked with their fingers laced as the by standers giggled watching two young kids holding hands together. It was rather cute to the adults but it was more serious to the young couple themselves. Midara knew how to take care of himself, he was very strong for his age and he was a lot stronger than most of the other ninja in the world. There are more genin than any other rank in the world and the boy might be one of the strongest in all of Land of Fire. He could handle a simple trip to the Moon Country. He had enough money for the two and all emergency money just in case. He already lost someone in his life, it truly made an impact in his life and he tries his hardest to make sure that won't happen...anytime soon.

The duo made it past the ticket booth and hoped on the boat. It was a medium sized boat that had small cabins. They were simple one bed rooms, with standard bed rooms items like a lamp and nightstand. There was also a deck that had the main food center and a patio to sit out. It wasn't some sort of tour boat but it also wasn't a fishing boat. There were other passagers but most of them weren't shinobi. Many had their own professions, you could tell someone them. There were people at the edge of the boat painting, or people that were singing and dancing with little kids running around. Soon one would be running around all of the two of them. The civilian life was a lot different from the shinobi world. It really amazed Midara. Still grasping hold of the girls soft and delicate hands, he walked towards the rooms. "here is our room" He said as he opened the door. Then the boat set sail to the Moon Country. He looked inside and there was one bed. It didn't bother him.

"tired?" He said with a smile as he looked down towards her and kissed her forehead. He took off his shoes and put them in a cubie in front of the door and jumped on the bed, then looked to see if the girl would follow. He was going to take a nap, hopefully by the time he wakes up, they would arrive at the Moon Country, They needed to get there soon so they wouldn't be late for the tournament and they could also get a warm up in. The boat ride would end sooner than expected! Once they were to get there, both would make their way to the registration and sign them selves up.
