| Madrox looked up to the starry night sky at what he thought to be around midnight. He adjusted his hat, and his trench coat as he heard the owls hooting in the back ground. It sounded like a chorus of birds singing a beautiful night time song. He smiled his toothy grin at the moon bearing his sharpened fangs. "Tonight, I become faster and stronger." He walked into the woods and found a sleeping deer. He walked up to it, knelt down, and slammed his fangs into the deers neck and drained it's life force. He proceeded to cut it open and rip chunks of meat out of the deer. He ate each piece one by one, and it was stringy, yet oh so very tasty. He rose to his feet and walked out of the woods. He was seeking a large enough boulder to train his strength. He sought for about an hour and eventually found a large boulder. He walked towards it and gripped it from the bottom. He lifted with all his might from his legs and lifted the boulder up slightly and dropped it. He gripped it again and lifted it once more. He dropped it once it reached his knees and walked off.
He found a tree with a low hanging tree branch and jumped up to the branch grabbing a hold of it. He pumped out about twenty pull ups and dropped to the ground and got into the front leaning rest position. He pushed out about twenty push-ups and rose to his feet. He walked over and attempted the boulder once again. He gripped the boulder from the bottom and began to lift the boulder up. He got it to his waist and dropped it. "Fuck!" He dropped down to the front leaning rest position and pushed out 20 more push-ups. He gripped the bottom of the boulder once again and brought the boulder to his shoulders and dropped it again. He shook his head. "Damn it all to the darkest depths of the nether-void!" He grabbed the boulder again and lifted it above his head. He put it down and found a slightly smaller rock and placed it on his back.
He got into the front leaning rest position and began doing push ups. He pushed out about 20 push ups struggling with the boulder on his back. He continued to do push ups with the boulder on his back and it slowly became easier. He continued doing the push ups until he was pushing them out like they meant nothing. He pushed the boulder off his back, and rose to his feet. He walked over to a tree and did more pull ups, He performed about 40 of these and climbed into the tree to take a small break. He relaxed in the tree and took a small nap. He dreamed about lifting the world, holding it on his shoulders, and even carrying the weak back to safety. Even if he was a criminal, he was a noble but still dark criminal. He would never kill unless he had too. He woke from his nap, and jumped out of the tree. It was close to dawn but no quite dawn yet. He walked back up the the large boulder and lifted it above his head once again. He tossed to a decent distance and walked over to it. He lifted it again and tossed it further. He walked over to it once more and tossed it even further. He smirked and sat down. His next goal would be speed training, once the sun set again.
He rose to his feet and noticed the rising sun. He ran and jumped back into the tree, and lied down on a branch. He fell asleep while the sun was out, and awaited for it to set once again for the moon, and Madrox, to rise. It was a warm sleep, and he dreamed of the day he left Kirigakure No Sato. It was a horrible night that fated night. He had hugged his father, saw the abuse he put his mother through, saw all the lies he told, saw the deception his father lived off of. He had approached his father that night. He raised the knife above his father's chest and plunged it deep into his father's chest. He looked at his father as his eyes opened. He turned around and walked out of the room, down the stairs and out of the house. He walked to the gates as they opened, and he fled Kirigakure No Sato, never to return. The sun set and with the rising of the moon, Madrox awoke.
He looked up once again at the starry night sky as he heard owls again. He enjoyed the sounds of the owls hooting. It was so relaxing and calm. He figured he could focus on his speed training tonight. He ran through the trees weaving in and out of the trees dodging all sorts of critters in the forest. Racoons would scatter at the sound of his feet, as well as mice, and rats and other rodents. Birds would fly away as he ran through the woods. He came to a sudden stop not far from a deer grove, and decided it was time to eat. He crept up behind a deer, knelt down, and slammed his mouth into it's juicy throbbing neck. He drank it dry and ripped out chunks of it's stringy bloodied flesh. He never worried about getting sick since he was so used to eating it this way for 2 years. He chewed the multiple chunks he pulled out and swallowed them. He rose to his feet and chased after the other deer. 'As long as they keep running I can chase them. If I eventually catch up, then I know I have increased my speed.' The deer ran far and fast doing everything they could, to outrun this monster that just ate one of them. Madrox followed with severe intent to catch one. They weaved in and out of trees, as he did as well.
The deer would make sharp turns and he would follow. They ran across a field, and Madrox followed after them. He steadied his breathing and began to catch up to the deer. But he was still behind them. Then one of the younger deer fell from a hurt leg. Madrox stopped next to it and used his Dracula Exchange Jutsu to heal it. He helped it back to it's feet and the other deer walked back over to see if it was ok. They approached and nudged the deer. The deer rose to it's feet and licked Madrox. He looked to the deer with kindness in his eyes, and in a soft voice he spoke, "I only feed off your kind because I need food. Much like the lion. I don't mean you any harm. It's just survival." The largest deer walked up and nudged Madrox and licked him. Madrox smiled, "Perhaps we can run together?" The largest deer raised it's head in agreement. Madrox rose to his feet and the deer took off. Madrox began to run and could keep up with the deer at their full speed. He finally knew he had trained his speed, and would head off the bed as the sun was rising soon.
