| Tennuyan sat on the edge of the forest wondering what he should do today. It was a warm day, not freezing, not sweltering, but warm. He enjoyed days like today. He had let Ailanna, Scampers, and Drakhan to wander on their own today and frankly was beginning to miss them. He loved his pets and he loved Rysa. And sadly for him, none of them were around. He sat down next to the tree and began to doze off.
Then suddenly he heard a noise behind him. He shot up and peaked around the tree. It was a female from the village leaving the village. Why would she do such a thing knowing there were nukenin out here? Perhaps she would talk to him and not try to capture or kill him. He figured he would try to find out where she was going. Perhaps he could at least direct her. "Hello There!" He yelled out to the girl. |

| The routine was getting pretty usual. The guards knew Marina by this time, as she had left the gates to travel the woods quite a few times. They even had a small conversation with each other at one point in time, so they knew her by name now. By no means were they friends, but they knew that Marina liked to go training out in the woods at least once a week, so they no longer even questioned her, but rather wished her a good session. They had, of course, asked her why she decided to go train in the woods rather than the training grounds, but she explained that she didn't want to damage any property or things like that. It took some time, and in the end the guards weren't even convinced that it was necessary, but they let her go all the same. Today would be no different from one of those days. She walked right out of the gates in the direction of the woods, her usual entrance point, and the guards simply waved at her. They didn't mind her cold attitude or the way she sometimes ignored them, she knew she was like that. In truth, they liked her a bit, thought she was a good girl, especially if she wanted to train so hard to help her village.
At any rate, she was out there now in the woods. Sometimes she tended to walk around a bit before actually starting the training. Today would prove to be one of those days, and decided to admire nature for awhile. She walked through the forest, looking at the trees and grass, just the general surroundings. It was rather dense, but she liked that a bit. However, it wasn't exactly ideal for training. After walking around for awhile, she decided it was time to find something of a clearing, so started walking in a familiar direction. After going for so long, she was coming close, but just before reaching the clearing, she heard someone's voice...a male voice, saying hello. She exited the thick of the woods and turned her head to look at him, though her body was still facing forward. She didn't turn, though she did stop. She looked him over, saw that he was clearly no village nin. She stared at him so blank and cold, it could have made him wonder if she was even a human. After scanning him a bit longer, she simply nodded in return, and said nothing. She would give him about five more seconds to say something else, and if not, would continue walking to find another clearing. |

| Tennuyan looked to this girl and noticed her cold demeanor. He said to her, "What are you doing outside of the city walls. There's nukenin about these parts and they can be dangerous. Don't you think you should have a little more protection than just yourself?" He looked to her with question.
He began to approach but stopped pretty far from her. He didn't know who she was or what she was about, so he wasn't going to get too close. He noticed she didn't fully turn to look at him but at least she looked him in the eyes. It would have aggravated him greatly if she didn't. He probably would have attacked right away if she didn't. At least she showed him that respect so her showed her the same. |

| Marina just looked at the man while he stood there and spoke, scolding her in a way for being out here by herself in the first place. She looked away from him and up at the sky. She had broken eye contact, yes, but it was in an effort to think. She didn't move, and she didn't show signs of going anywhere just yet, so perhaps the action wouldn't really aggravate the man. What was she doing out here? Well that was simple. She knew of Nukenin...or rather, she knew of one. Besides, what he said couldn't really be true. Its not like these woods were just crawling with Nukenin ready to pounce on anyone who dared exit the village. Not only did they surely have better things to do, but if they really just camped out here all the time, they would get noticed and detained pretty quickly, something they were hopefully too smart to do. She thought about his last question, and sighed slightly through her nose. Did she need more protection? Perhaps...she was just a genin after all, but she was sure she would be able to handle anyone of equal rank, and if not, could easily retreat back to the village.
So, she spoke clearly once her thoughts were over and done with. "Training." she said blankly as always. Surely she gave off the appearance of a robot by the way she acted. After speaking this one word, she did look back at him, straight into him, straight through him almost. She took a moment to look at him more before going on, in a way answering his last two questions all at once. "I am aware and will take the risk." she said, as though she didn't even have a soul. It was true though, that was the simple fact of it. She knew this wasn't the safest thing to do, but she was taking the risk anyway. She honestly wasn't sure whether or not she cared about whether or not she had aggravated the man. She didn't really know him, and so far he didn't come off as very interesting. He expressed concern for her well being, but as of yet she wasn't too sure if it was really genuine. Either way, she still continued to just...look at him. |

| Tennuyan peaked up at the mention of training. "Training eh? Well as you may already know, I am a Nukenin. Now don't fret I don't bring you harm. Perhaps you would like to spar? I feel my combat is getting a bit rusty, and well, if your training then you must feel the same in some way. If you do not wish to do such a think feel free to continue to walk, or turn around and leave. I won't stop you either way, however, If you wish to spar, let's make this fair and we'll start off on even ground, no surprise attacks against anyone."
He would then proceed to get into a fighting stance had this woman decided she would spar with him. He would open with a few kicks and punches just to get the feel of how she moves, and how she fights. He normally wouldn't conserve his chakra like this, but he figured, it's only a spar. It can't hurt. Or can it? |

| When she looked over, she could see that his demeanor had changed at the mention of training. He seemed excited now, maybe even pumped a little bit. That was interesting...What was more interesting is the way he offered to have a spar. She was a Genin, he was a Nukenin...generally speaking, they should have been at each other's throats the moment they saw each other, but he was willing to just commence in a casual spar. He said the reason was because he felt as though he was perhaps getting a little rusty...and wanted to brush up. Was he being...cocky? Or just honest? She couldn't tell but it intrigued her all the same. At first, she really didn't want to. She didn't really like fighting for no reason, but then she thought to herself...it was just sparring, it wasn't real fighting. Besides that, she did feel as though she needed practice against an actual enemy, and this was her chance. She continued to look at him for a long while, gauging him to see if his words were true. Would he really let her walk away? Would he really make it just a basic spar, or was it all a trap?
She continued to look at him, observe him, observe the situation. This could either go really well or really bad for her. She decided...she would again take this risk and trust the man to his words, and as such, took about three steps back before facing him head on, and got into a fighting stance, tensed and ready to attack. This was her silent way of accepting his challenge, and was giving him the opportunity to attack first. There was about 10 feet between them...not too close, not too far. It would serve quite well to start here. At about this time he was getting done what she assumed was warming up as he made kicks and punches into the air. While he did this, she mentally closed her eyes and began to meditate...clear her mind...prepare herself. When the fight came, she would be all too ready to begin. |

| Tennuyan ran at the female genin with his hands behind in the wind. He rushed forward with crescent kicks, right hooks, left hooks, jabs, and uppercuts, all aimed at her mid section. His goal was to find her weakness and exploit it. He wasn't going to kill her, but just to tire her out and to win, was enough for him. He continued this onslaught for a while and was hoping he could keep her on edge so she wouldn't get a strong counter in.
He was expecting her to block, and so he moved his attacks in motion to be able to block any counterattack that may come at him. After each hook, he swung his arm downward as if to block a mid section attack, after each jab, his arm would come back towards his face to block a high attack, after each kick, his leg would pull in to block a low attack, before returning to the ground. He fought with ferocity and poise, but nothing that was completely out of the ordinary. |

| Marina's consciousness returned as soon as the man started to advance upon her. She could tell by the way he came in close quickly that he meant to engage in hand to hand combat. She didn't prefer this type of combat, but she knew it was a good time to try out a jutsu she had so far not been able to. Just before he got close enough to start attacking, she activated a jutsu and her hands were surrounded by a blue aura. She watched his actions carefully, and saw a pattern in his attacks that allowed her to dodge them. She was able to anticipate each hook, jab, and kick that came at her. While doing so, she made a point to continue moving backwards bit by bit. While doing so though, the aura around her hands got to work. They started leaving ice needles hovering in the air as she went back. Their creation was silent, and by the time they materialized in the air, they were behind the man so it was unlikely that he saw what was going on. These needles hovered in the air pointed straight at what would come to be the man's back as she moved further and further back. She knew if she wanted this to work, it wouldn't end too well for her. After about 8 were created, 2 from each hand, and 20 inches of space was made going backwards, she activated the needles.
To do so distracted her however, and the moment she activated them one of the man's kicks landed right in her stomach, though she went with the momentum to push herself off the ground and into the air where she performed a backflip and landed on the ground, though she had to grip her stomach in pain for a moment after she landed. At any rate, a few seconds before contact, the needles were activated and flew at a speed of about 5m/h at the Nukenin's back, and considering the one furthest from him was 20 inches, the closest about 5, it was unlikely he would be able to dodge it. The needles weren't aimed at any vitals, since this was a spar, but the attack would certainly do damage if it hit. She wasn't going to rely on this attack, however, and remained aware and alert for any more attacks while she cleared her head from the blow. She also deactivated the aura on her hands before landing, as not to waste chakra.
- Spoiler:
Name: Furosuto Hando| Frost Hands Rank: C - S (Marina Rank: C) Type: Ninjutsu Range: Personal Element: Hyōton (Ice Release) Clan: Yuki Description: Hyōton Hoka is a ninjutsu technique utilizing the Yuki clan Kekkei Genkai. When activated, an aura of frost surrounds the user's hands, hanging heavy about them with a noticeable icy blue hue. This aura does nothing to anything that comes into direct contact to it except water molecules in the air, meaning being touched while in this aura will not harm the one touching them in any way. When the aura comes into contact with water molecules in the air, they freeze and form sharp needles which hover in the air and point towards the enemy. Usually this works by leaving ice needles in the air in the user's wake as they move around. Upon signal, every needle will shoot out and fly towards the enemy at once. The aura forms 1 needle for every 5 inch at C rank, adding another needle in that 5 inch diameter as the rank increases. The aura lasts as long as the user wants to uphold it. | Tennuyan halted his attack as he was stabbed in the back, He spun and saw more needles rushing at him and they hit him in the chest. He dropped to a knee as he was pushed back and stood up and spun around at the same time to face her. He had a mild look of rage in his eyes, as he was breathing heavy and holding his chest. "You want to bring in jutsu so early? Why, I was just having fun going hand to hand."
Tennuyan reached into a kunai pouch and pulled out 6 of them, and as he dropped them he performed hand signs. The kunai hovered in a circle as tennuyan inhaled. He exhaled some gas towards Marina. He flung a kunai or two at her as he performed more hand signs to buy him some time. He then inhaled and exhaled again as a few fireballs appeared and covered his kunai, He threw the kunai as he jumped back causing the gas to explode.
