The only thing that I found interesting was Kabuto's mention of his trump card. Maybe he'll finally reveal who was in the coffin that scared Madara so much.

Who could it be though?

I doubt it's someone as powerful as the Rikudo or Madara's "real body". I can't really think of a possible person for it to be. Plus all of the people who have the possibility of defeating Madara have been sealed or some other form, such as the First and Fourth Hokage

I'm still betting on Rikudo-sennin. I mean, Kabuto has all of the Kages, all of the Jinchuuriki, the SSM, and pretty much every other powerful ninja that died, who else is even more powerful than all of them? Unless this is completely unrelated to said coffin and he's actually talking about Jiraiya. I could see that happening.

I'm not really convinced that it could be Jiraiya, considering the fact that when Kabuto actually showed Madara the coffin he freaked out like some major disaster had occurred. Jiraiya obviously struggled battling Pain, so I doubt he'd be at Madara's level in terms of a high threat. I still can't see it being the Rikudo though either, since one would require a DNA sample in order for Edo Tensei to function and Rikudo has been dead for how long now, over a hundred years at the very least? So I'm not quite sure where he could have taken this DNA from.

I didn't mean that Jiraiya was in the coffin that freaked Madara out, I meant that maybe the trump card he's referring to is for beating Naruto, specifically, & then maybe the body that was in the coffin was actually Madara's brother. Who knows. Thinking

If you look at the fight Jaraiya really didn't struggle against Pain at all. He only lost because he din't know the secret to his jutsu. Jiraiya is a lot more powerful than some people give him credit for. I for one think he has Oro beat when it comes to power/skill. Itachi even feared Jiraiya in which he didn't fear Orochimaru. Pein also new his sensei's weakness and that Jiraiya only used Ninjutsu. His character was actually set you to defeat Jiraiya if you think about it.

Anywho, Jiraiya body was never found haven't we all forgotten. Maybe he isn't being controlled by Kabuto. We all know how Kishimoto is with his twisted story line. Maybe Jiraiya knew that the only way Naruto could reach his full potential is to have a fight with Pein. I mean he did know them two better than any other character with exception of maybe Konan. Maybe he took a chance that Naruto was the answer for Pein and vice versa. Since then Naruto has really grown as a person and character.

Now Madara's brother would be interesting. Not much is known of the guy beside he was the only Uchiha par to Madara himself. I don't see him being part of this whole plot though. That would just make more fillers in which I myself don't want to see.

Rikodu is very doubtful...

The chapter was average. I still think it will be Six Paths in the coffin but I wouldn't put money on it. xD

I still think that the whole Tobi - Obito business is there for a reason. Since it's pretty much impossible for Madara to be alive for so long in his original body, I think his spirit had taken over Obito who was dying, which would make sense since the Fox attacked the village shortly after Obito's 'disappearance'. Therefore the coffin could contain the real body of Madara... and I'm guessing, that the real Madara would probably be stronger than the controlling-someone-else Madara. Who knows.

It was a decent chapter, though I kept wondering how Itachi seemed to know so much about the Konoha's improving treatment towards Naruto. But then, it's Itachi. I guess you can get away with stuff like that. And I'm starting to think that Itachi is Kishmoto's second favorite character (first being Sasuke, of course) as he seems to put a lot of effort into showing just how powerful he is. I wonder how Itachi plans on beating all the Edo Tensei by himself? Is he going to use the Totsuka Blade on all of them? I'd much rather he go after Madara and leave the Edo Tensei puppets to Naruto and Bee. At least that way Itachi might be able to meet Sasuke. Damn you Kishimoto for not making Itachi go after Sasuke! Even Naruto wanted Itachi to smack some sense into his baby brother! That would have been the series' ultimate fanservice.

As far as Kabuto's trump card goes, I don't think it will have anything to do with the coffin. Seems more like something to do with Itachi. At the very least, his next move is most likely aimed at removing the advantage the Shinobi Alliance has gained by having Itachi at their side. The Sixth Coffin seems more of a means of blackmailing Madara than a "trump card" against the enemy. It's most likey "that jutsu" which Kabuto spoke of many chapters ago, the one which, combined with Edo Tensei, would make him "invincible". Or it may be something entirely unrelated to either. Maybe he's going to make all the Edo Tensei's go Full Zombie? All I hope is that his trump card kills off the majority (or a noticeable amount) of the Shinobi Alliance, and not faceless characters this time. Plot-based characters need to start dying in this war already.

So the Mizukage can use a hologram-esque move. Pretty decent, I guess, though nothing extraordinary. The Raikage looks like he's finished, which is a shame really. I'm sure we all wanted to see some more Black Lightning Jutsu. And as for Onoki, spraining his back at that moment was just too convenient. Fortunately, Naruto seems to have run into the Edo Tensei before Itachi... And he's attacking Muu with a Rasengan... Yay. -_-

Madara took the eyes of Izuna Uchiha (his brother) to achive Eternal Mangekyō, so all of Izuna's powers are gone, thus turning his body useless. So, being Izuna in that coffin, is virtually impossible.

Sasuke took Itachi's eyes and yet... you guessed it, Itachi has his eyes and is alive and kicking. The body summoned by Edo Tensei undergoes regeneration, so if someone was missing his eyes or arms or whatever, these would be returned to him for the duration of the technique. That also goes for Nagato whose eyes were taken by Madara, remember?
