Clan Name: Nekan
Location: Kumogakure no Sato
Signature Traits: One in every sixteen children born will have a strange iris shape that's more of a round-cornered square than a normal circle. All members of the clan though have naturally azure blue eyes with a very faint light blue trim around the iris. The members of the clan don't have any other key features; but the blue eyes do help them stand out in a predominantly pigment high society.

Certain members of this clan have the chance to be born with a certain eye defect. Only one in every sixteen are actually born with this trait, and those who are have oddly shaped iris (See Signature Traits). The Dojutsu gives the user a form of mental illness which forces the brain to memorize everything the eye sees. This occurs because of a recessive gene which eliminates the memory filter in the mind; therefore forcing the clan member to send everything into the "Long-term Memory" slot of their mind. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing; as they can remember the exact location and path to get to an enemy base; but also remember what shade of green a leaf was. This can creating a memory overload if the target is blinded for a week or two; or is incapable of using the eyes properly (ie. those who have transplants). Much like the Rinnegan; members who have this Dojutsu constantly have it active; and because it is more of a birth defect than an actual Kekkei Genkai, it cannot be deactivated under any circumstance.

Also, because the eye is the main form of navigation for a human; the other two senses, smell and sound, are also influenced by this effect. It takes many years for the other senses to become influenced though; but by Genin, a natural born clan member should have this effect. (Note: It takes approximately 10 years; but because children learn 10x faster when they're young, a Genin can get this curse at ages 6-7. 12 years for transplant patients.) Members with this Dojutsu are also more prone to brain damage for unknown reasons, probably because of the genetic defect of the brain. This means that a knock to the head that could render someone into a mini-coma could end up giving the member temporary amnesia. Such devastating blows that would give a normal person amnesia would end up killing the user; thus making them more prone to defending their heads for self reflex and instinct (The instinct and reflex become more evident at higher character ranks).

The members born with this Kekkei Genkai also gain one more passive benefit; and that's incredibly high IQ's and knowledge bases. The latter is quite obvious due to the fact that the eyes (And other senses if natural born) are able to remember everything. The IQ though happens only in a few; but as of recently it seems to be more evident (This is purely luck). Because the Dojutsu is rather overpowered; I'm personally limiting the highest starting rank to Genin; to Avoid Kage's and A-Rank Missing Nin to start off with infinite knowledge and godly eyes. And because of the rarity of this gene and the small population in the clan, a maximum of 3 characters (Non-NPC) may have this Dojutsu.

History: Like many other clans, this clan originated when several people met and shared genes to the point where they created a genetic trait. Much like how other Kekkei Genkai are acquired. The genetic formula was purely luck; so going into it would be tedious. The clan itself though is many decades old; but still rather small compared to others. It houses about 50 genetically born members and some 40-50 extra non-blood related members, all of which help keep the clan prosperous. The clan itself remains at a steady pace; not fluctuating in size whatsoever. When a few die, a few more are born. Since the clan has been around for centuries it has managed to survive wars and many other difficulties in the history Nof the aruto dimension; making them rather successful and rich from spoils. It's currently allied with Kumogakure to avoid from other clans, but still remains independent and even on its own 'reservation' from Kumo. The main harassment reason for these actions is their loathing of publicity. They believe that if a widespread of people were to know of their rare genetic trait, people would not only try to dispose of them all like the crisis in Kirigakure; or try to steal their eyes in an attempt to gain their knowledge, something most genetic clans have to face.
Clan Jutsu: None. The clan is rather peaceful, but still sends their children into academies for ninja training. Because the clan is open and takes outsiders, they have no clan specific jutsu which discriminate the natural born and the settlers.

So the whole clan is basically based on Photographic memory? Well if that's it than I'm afraid this clan is denied for a simple reason. We have photographic memory as a special characteristic so having a clan based on it is useless.
