Clan Name Maseika
Clan Village: Hidden Grass
Clan History
- Spoiler:
Time. To us, it is a one-way path, a single road we travel all at once. Imagine an undulating tube of chronology, a focused vortex continuing on. At all times all points are present, and we see them.
You, young one, cannot. Not yet. This is the curse and the blessing of the Maseika clan. We are fated to travel destiny, ignoring all dimensions except these 4. The higher dimensions of living focus of probability, chances, and universal makeup; alternate realities, and other such “nonsense” to the standard shinobi. These veritable truths are ever-present to us, but we are fated to never know them. We are each one creature, rooted in time, without probability. To explore dimensions as we do curses us to live in but one, so to speak.
We began as a faction of monks, philosphers, and scholars, students of learning dedicated to higher thinking. We were often chided with thinking “outside the box.” After years of thought, it was discovered our outside thinking was actually inside, and all around, and through. The box you see, I see the front and other direct angles of eyesight but if I were to focus, much like as you read a book, I can see the duration, the time in which this box exists. You moved your hair out of your face; I see that as a shape, a line and image connecting the you of one minute ago to the you that you are now. You bend in on yourself, just as all things do, for time changes us all.
If you are confused, rest assured even we have not fully unlocked our sight, and we have struggled with the blessing for many decades.
Teimura was our founder, our father. He is dead, and his timeline is complete. His path was forged since birth, and we all saw it, this is why he was our first true leader. It was fated. Teimura was a good leader, strong in spirit and stronger in intellect. Many hours of thoughtful contemplation went into every action. He was gifted with a sense no one could comprehend. He saw how long each something was, how wide it was, how tall it was, and yet, somehow, he saw how durational it was. He saw time.
He acted as father to his people, and an oracle to the fledgling grass village. His insights the only defense grass had against the sudden actions of stone and his words giving ominous warning of the Daimyo's demise, acts well over 110 years ago.
Ever since we have been seen as a group of oracles, educated mystics, but time is vague and no one could see the obstacles ahead.
Teimura's “sense” was passed onto a highly intelligent girl, his daughter. She was the veritable mother of the Maseika. Through swaying plants and tall trees she would walk, absorbing the very essence on nature as a girl, much like a fish would swim. In the green, lush grass is where she spent her time, up to her neck in tall sheaves of plantlife. Her days as a shinobi were limited, and her father saw that. Those with the sight, those who knew, knew that once you inherit the ability to perceive in such a higher sense, all other probabilities are null. There is one path you can take. Even the variations you choose depending on trying to change bring your course back.
Joira, the beautiful and young, innocent and intelligent daughter of Teimura was destined for a tragic future. She grew up as she was believed by her father to grow up as, a strong shinobi. He believed that her dying in battle would never happen if she became a strong shinobi of the Grass.
She grew up without trouble, easily becoming a genin, chuunin and Jounin after 23 years of hard work. Married at 24, she had a son and daughter, fraternal twins, she nursed them well, raising them in the same path as she, to become shinobi, proud warriors with a knack for nature and a love only those raised in the small country could.
She was 35, and set to retire, and Teimura was older, wiser, and much more accomplished in the sight of the fourth. He knew the timeline was fading, soon to be cut rapidly short. He commanded her to stay home, knowing she would die if she went to battle. The durational aspect of her, the line that connected her to all the other portions of herself faded.
She was going to die.
Without hesitation, the mother of 4, now, two daughters born a year apart, locked herself in the house.
Young one, I tell you, that very day was the day Kusa had a great shift in the earth, starting from North bank and working upward, she lives on the fault line, the earth splitting open to swallow her home. Two daughters and a mother were lost that day, plunged into the mouth of a loving Earth who wanted them home earlier than they were supposed to be.
Or was it?
Mourning was short that month, as the father, husband, twins, who were now genin, and various family members assembled to grieve together in the lush land she had spent her childhood in. The earth settled, but a great divide still exists to this day above north Bank, a few kilometers in the heavy vegetation.
The clan began from their combined tears, like a phoenix, emerging from the ashes to become a prominent family. The bloodline limit they share, is surprisingly enough, not a dominant trait, meaning that the clan has a hard time of creating family members who inherit the skill, but when it does happen, it is a celebration that the fates have blessed them. Not one member has the visionary power of the late Teimura, but over the many years we have been a family, our eyesight has become more based on the present. To know the future by manipulating time and space is a bigger curse than a blessing. For all we know, we are changing futures everyday because we see our future as a constant path.
Over the next three decades two brothers had the skill, Je-Jun and Terrai were their names, the two noble brothers of the Maseika and heroes of our time. They had the sight of dimensions, the intelligence, and another odd spectacle. They could manipulate their own dimension. Just as one can jump to manipulate the 3rd dimension by moving upward in space, they could alter their other dimensional selves to actually cause them to appear in our own world.
The style we train under today was born by these two brothers, both of which were highly acclaimed grass-ninja. Their relationship with the Kusakage was something we as a clan strive for; they maintained perfect balance. We were separate and yet entirely for deploy. They accepted the authority; they pledged allegiance to that authority, and yet remained slightly autonomous, carrying their own affairs and performing missions for the motherland when time allowed.
The fighting style was perfected and 6 decades later, we sit here in a room, as I recall old times I never experienced and relay them as fact. There are but few facts I can tell you before you have the sight, before you understand what I impart on you. We live for the betterment of our clan, of course, though you must understand that only through betterment of our land can we become a mighty clan.
And not strength in physical nature, we are to be the most intelligent of all households, the top resource for information and insight, that is our fate. We strive to keep balance with Grass so that one day, when our land is a great nation, our name will be known. As the Echoes of Time have already rung it out for Centuries. So when you become a genin, as you will, and you go off on missions, remember that this is for your fate, our fate, and the fate of Kusagakure.
Clan Abilities
- Spoiler:
The Kekkai Genkai of the Maseika has only recently risen to full prominence even in Grass. The bloodline, known cumulatively as Eiseikougan, is kept a close guarded secret, a coveted treasure within the emerald nation. Legend would say the Maseika are eternal. A people disjointed from time itself and left to exist on the border between this dimension and the next. But in all reality, their bloodline is both misunderstood and exaggerated. The Eiseikougan is best explained using the concept of the fourth dimension, aka Time and the space it manipulates. In our reality there are always thousands of probable outcomes for every situation as we pass from moment to moment, and the Maseika bloodline not only makes them aware of these possibilities, but allows them to tap into these variations of existence for devastating results. As an extension of this is the Eiseikougan doujutsu, which allows for exact visual awareness of time as well as sight into the 4th dimension as if it were a visual distance. With the Eiseikougan, things are no longer seen in height, width, distance, but also in the here and then. This bloodline displays itself in two very distinct ways. Eiseihada The first is called within the clan the Eiseihada, or eternal body. Through application of their own chakra, the Maseika can tune their body to different variations of their own self. While at any one moment the Eiseihada user may reach to grab a glass of milk, there may be a different timeline where they instead decided to check their watch at that moment, or accidentally knocked the milk over. This bloodline not only makes them acutely aware of the alternate versions of themselves, but through certain techniques they can attune these variations to our reality, and make them part of our world. This process has been refined, and trained, turning it into the dangerous taijutsu style. Through their manipulation of variations, hitting a Maseika is hard enough, but avoiding being hit is another feat all together. The second display of the bloodline is through the doujutsu. Eiseikougan This doujutsu is considered much less powerful then some of the legendary doujutsu of the shinobi world. But the Eiseikougan has applications and growth that can prove invaluable to not only their taijutsu style, but their utility as a shinobi. While the Eiseihada can be trained and utilized from a very young age, the Eiseikougan must be unlocked. No two people have unlocked the doujutsu the same, but all have recollected its emergence when a great epiphany has fallen before the owner. At this moment, their vision and understanding will widen. Whether this unsettling and sometimes mind rattling experiance actually solves the epiphany is unlikely. The Maseika eye is different, that is certain. Every clan member has a different eye color, though none seem to have brown eyes, though yellow and amber are fairly common, but that color shifts once the eye is activated. The pupil of the eye slowly become elongated, like a cat, and stretches until it reaches the whites of the eyes, then the center of the pupil stretches out sideways, like a shuriken shape. The awkward cross becomes thinner and thinner, until it is simply two lines. The lines then spiral quickly and disappear. All that is left is the colored section of the eye, which slowly turns to grey, The grey eye stretches completely out enveloping the eye in the monotone shade, when suddenly, the two crossed lines swirl back, white this time. They reform again, and become circular again, though in four separate, distinct points. The shuriken shaped pupil is shocking white this time, contrasted by the dark gray of the eye itself. The pupil also seems to vibrate slightly, though it doesn’t effect the users vision in any negative way. The opposite happens when the doujutsu is released and stopped from being used. Though the technique is rather meticulous in its details and course of action, it only takes a few moments for it to take place. Upon activation, the Eiseikougan can be kept active one post for every 7 chakra points. When activated, the clan member's sight becomes a mind blowing display of present and past all melded onto their normal two dimensional vision. The world becomes a ghostly grey, with everything seeming to vibrate and move, every object in their sight showing a bit of its history. Chakra constructs are highlighted when the doujutsu is active because they don't vibrate with the timeline. This makes genjutsu illusions especially easy to discern from reality. Without proper training, this experience is merely distracting and can lead to more bad then good. Present The first stage of the Eiseikougan is fairly basic, but comes with it a devastating weapon. The Eternal Eye gives its user a perfect photographic memory as long as it is active. Not only will they remember anything they have seen, but their mind can play back anything they have directly witnessed in real time at any time. This allows them instant recall of objects, people, names, or anything else they may have noticed or seen. This takes little strain, but controlling this recall can be troublesome at times, it is also time consuming. The nature of the doujutsu also makes keeping time exact and perfect, as every moment to them is a unique perceived moment, with practice a Maseika can know the time of day off the top of their head. This costs 15 chakra points. Past At this stage of the doujutsu, the user has gotten a better control over their vision into the 4th dimension. The blurs of motion and change that was the world has now become less chaotic, the vague ghostly blurs gaining back a bit of their color. It is now possible for the clan member to look at an object, and watch it display its growth from its creation until now. This works especially well on plants and buildings, playing like a flip pad movie. But the more important ability is location recall. By using a single seal and concentrating on a location, the Eiseikougan can perform this technique. The area they are watching will play back its history from the last 12 hours like a movie. They will see all who passed by and all that was done there played back in an instant. This technique only extends to visual information though. This can only be used once by genin, twice by chuunin, and thrice by jounin in one thread. This costs 25 Chakra points Future The final stage of the Eiseikougan unlocks the most fearsome ability, the ability to see into the future. Though this ability is limited due to the chaotic and variable nature that is the 4th dimension, this skill is still powerful beyond belief. Doujutsu user’s may occasionally have abstract oracle visions of the future without asking for them, in fact that is what heralds the first signs of this level of the doujutsu, but these visions usually only apply to days or even weeks into the future, thus it makes it utterly useless in combat. In addition, with a strong focus of chakra to the eyes, a glimpse mere seconds into the future is created, or a slow concentration allows the Maseika to see glimpses in the future in a matter of weeks. This puts a horrible strain on the doujutsu that will cut its active post possible in half whenever used, and it costs 35 chakra points and if the chakra points permit, can only be used 3 times per thread. But by using this, lives have been saved, and whole travesties averted. Hitome-mannen (Glimpse of Eternity) Life is lived in two parts, among the gentle flow of time, and under the harsh blows of reality. One cannot know what is real until it is experienced. Until we experience, we are one with the ether. Once we experience, we are lost. The taijutsu of the Maseika clan is a precise art of motion and technique that is formulated to blend perfectly with their capabilities. Every motion is part of an elaborate system that runs on a perfect timing and while seemingly extravagant, those who practice the art are acting by a strict set of timed moves, every foot placement and every arm motion, calculated and careful. It is a dance to some, based on twin sets of action, one reliant on the other. It is rhythmic, practiced, and deceiving in its dynamic nature. This action, called the Ubuge, is used to close in on an opponent. A spiral is set up, and between rapid footwork and deceptive movements of the arms and body, a Maseika will close in on a target while keeping their next move a close guarded secret. Every tick of moment they assess, at any moment they will close in and complete their assault, the Nikui will be initiated. For every motion, every spin, every swing, there is a motion that maximizes the pace at which a Maseika can move to strike. Going from a rhythmic and relaxed motion to a full force blow can be difficult, but as they train they learn how to deal with any trajectory from every single second of the Ubuge dance's content. To know how to defend, dodge, attack, or counter from every point of their rhythm is their goal. This style of attack, from zero momentum to full assault, is called the Nikui. In combination with the Maseika bloodline, the Eiseikougan, following the movements of the Hitome-Mannen becomes even more difficult, and one misguided punch can open opponents up completely. Between their perfect timing, and variable nature, fighting a Maseika is always a lesson waiting to happen. Style Basis: Bloodline/Hybrid Taijutsu Training Methods The Hitome-Mannen is taught in large groups at first. The first level of training is nothing more then the stretching excercises practiced by the philosphers and monks of the family during their daily break. Standing in lines, the group begins the fast paced motions of one of the 3 different Ubuge movement sets. Everyone stays in perfect time, following the movement of an instructor. At the second level through the third, the style is usually taught in smaller groups all dedicated to the purpose developing the style. These are usually young men and women, but can even advance into the elderly. They are usually given instruction by an elder. At this point they are learning to turn a peaceful art into a weapon, learning at what point to move from subtle action to attacking. After that the style is taught one on one or alone. They dedicate the body and mind completely to learning possible actions at each and every moment of the ubuge. Other bloodline Maseika can physically strike variations at any time and variations can assault other variations, even while they are not solid. Introduction to Eternity To some called a dance, to others a style, the Glimpse of Eternity is above all else the coveted style of the Maseika clan. But at this stage, the user is only first introduced to the motions, called the ubuge in practice. It is literally all about ubuge at this stage, with striking barely trained or implemented.
The subtle motions of the arms are all taught here through the first dance. The most basic and least refined, it is nothing more then the hands moved in conjunction away from the body, upwards, crossed, then back down, through varying degrees of motion. While basic in action, it allows neophytes to learn the basics of motion without getting their arms too far away to hit a target.
(All Special Techniques in this style require the Maseika clan bloodline, the Eiseikougan.)
Notes: For any special techniques that create 'Variations', these entities are technically much different from clones. Physical attacks pass right through them, and only chakra can disrupt them, so chakra enhanced weapons/attacks, or ninjutsu. When disrupted, the Maseika themselves become disoriented. While input from the variations is not relayed, clan members are fully aware of when a variation is destroyed.
While the technique Temporal break is in effect, Maseika clan members can make variations solid temporarily, making it possible for them to engage in physical combat, but also to take physical damage. When they do take physical damage, it is as if they take an undefended attack, they will disrupt with one blow. Turning variations solid last the whole post, and are able to use the user's jutsus.
Rei Bakushin - Zero Dash Rank: D-S Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: The Zero Dash is an all purpose name for the switch between Ubuge and Nikui. It is the term used to refer to the development of suddenly switching from deceptive motion to closing in on an opponent. The Zero Dash is never instant, but it grows ever more 'sudden' and 'unexpected' as the clan member develops in their abilities. To other users of the style, this full on run is recognized as what it is, even if the target doesn't have time to adjust to it.
Kouin Fusenmei - Temporal Blur Rank: D-S Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: This technique is the most basic use of the Eiseihada. Using this technique requires only the most basic control over the clan bloodline. The user almost seems to be vibrating as the Eiseihada begins it magic. Whenever a motion is made, subtle after-images remain in that location for a mere second. This sight, these ghost-like images, are actually the variable forms of the user all being brought into our own dimension. They are not physical, but they do serve as a good visual obstruction. This can be maintained 1 post for every 4 points of Chakra.
Tatsu - Rise Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: Tatsu is a basic combo that is first applied when kicks are fully developed. By using the deception inherent to the style, a clan member assaults an opponent with the appearance of coming in for a high attack, then slips low to rise up from below with a kick. While any sense of deception may be used for this, the most common is to use a variation in the first dance, who can appear to be attacking fully standing while the true Maseika slips down low.
Kuteniiten – Stop on the point Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: The first truly advanced use of the Eiseikougan. As the user blinks, the world around them seems to have stopped on one exact instance. The user can move around for a full 3 seconds (all contained in one post), but they cannot interact or even attempt to interact with anything. As this moment ends, the user is forcefully pulled back into the exact same position they started in, and time begins as if nothing had happened with them standing at the exact same location. This technique is usually used to study surroundings and situations regardless of how difficult the battle at hand may be.
Shidou- Guidance Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: A simple name given to a proper parry. When knocking a blow aside the main hope is to pull an opponent in and throw them off their balance. This makes it so what was originally a missed attack turns into a disaster for the opponent. This can be done in a variety of ways, but usually the best are the most subtle. Knocking someone to the side to a degree that sends them clamoring for balance, or giving an extended arm a tug to 'help' someone fall forward.
Kouin Kujiku – Temporal Break Requirements - Kouin Fusenmei Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: Temporal break is an advancement on the Temporal Blur technique that makes up the basis of the Eiseihada. Using this, the variations created in Temporal blur gain the ability to move further away from the Maseika clan member. For every 5 chakra points the variations can move 5 feet away from the Maseika member. This also comes with the ability to make variations solid for a post, but this also makes them vunerable to physical damage (and with that dissapating and damaging the Maseika member.)
Amalgamation of Fate Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: The first stage that teaches nothing ‘new’ per se, it instead advances all current skills. The ubuge motions are now smooth and effortless, the user seeming almost in a trance. While they circle an opponent, every motion seems sure yet pointless until it is far too late. The array of different attacks has also advanced, from just the hands and feet, to elbows, headbutts, every body part has different cues in the ubuge-nikui transfer points. While the hands and feet may serve the best and do the most damage, who knows when a certain strike may need to come from a certain angle. This leads to the third and final dance. It is the most complicated among, full of motions that would otherwise be suicide to complete when keeping aware of an opponent. Spins and acrobatic flips are all present, fast paced and fluid. Coming up from these feats can lead into low head butts or spinning into an elbow strike. This dance is rarely utilized in actual combat unless a Maseika or one of his variations needs to catch the attention of a target. The first stage that teaches nothing ‘new’ per se, it instead advances all current skills. The ubuge motions are now smooth and effortless, the user seeming almost in a trance. While they circle an opponent, every motion seems sure yet pointless until it is far too late.
Inverse Path Rank: B Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: The user is becoming an overwhelming force on the verge of mastery. To some, this is the greatest they could ever hope to achieve, a blend of movement and power that would make even the strongest of fighters quake in fear. Foremost seen here is another burst in the severity of blows, leading many to question the usually docile nature of the Maseika. The few ticks of the Ubuge not mapped and trained for are being closed up; the user can now spend their time learning every strike in every dance as if they are second nature. Training at this stage takes on a meditative edge as well, mental study of every moment and every mistake helps perfect the styles few holes.
Mannen – Eternity Requirements - Kouin Kujiku Rank: A Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: This highly advanced technique is considered dangerous to both the user and the target as the Maseika clans member pushes their use of the Eiseihada beyond normal limits. As they close in on a target, the Maseika begins to vibrate wildly, then Variations begin to appear along each side of them continuously until eight of the Maseika is standing around their opponent in a perfect circle. Then each close in to attack, the Maseika makes each variation solid as their blow lands, a devastating series of blows is the outcome if the opponent doesn't manage to escape. This technique may only be used twice per thread. Any variations beyond the normal limit will fade after this technique. Opponent's Permission Required.
Abstract Immortality Rank: S Type: Taijutsu Range: 0-7m Element: N/A Description: What is considered beyond the beyond, a final level of mastery for those who dedicate themselves fully to the physical and mental. The user’s body is at a limit here, attacks are powerful and rigid like a hammer’s blow. Yet when they perform the ubuge dance, no one is more graceful. But regardless of their physical prowess, the style is now a fully mental game. There are few to teach one this level of mastery and any development at this point is all performed through mediation. Reviewing and unlocking those last few holes in eternity will make their defense flawless so they dig into their memory and review every second of every fight.
Clan Description
- Spoiler:
Scholars. Academically oriented people have a generous sterotype of appearing gawky and odd. Awkward in social situations and slightly lanky, the “nerds” have an odd reputation that always seems to stick. The Maseika, unfortunately, somewhat follow this stereotype, though they differ in many ways. A rough poll of the clan would show that almost all members of the clan have brown or blonde hair, though a few can be seen sporting black, or…green. The hair of the clan members is often grown, and held back, out of eyes and faces. On males, the hair can be any length, but it is never in the face, and if it is, they experience “hell” until it isn't from their parents and fellow clan members. If a member has hair longer than their eyebrows, they tie it back or “spike” it or style it accordingly so that it doesn’t cover their eyes. Maseika run the gamut in weight, but generally tend to be rather bulked and tougher looking. Muscles are usually defined, but the ideal, and most common body type is that of a lithe body builder. The life of the clan member is not seen in the body, but the mind and eyes. Skin remains fairly light, mostly from being kept indoors, but some can choose to have darker skin. They live indoors, train indoors, and converse indoors. In fact, the only reason they go outside is for formal schooling or missions. They are not introverted, though, and will generously welcome people into their clan housing, though wanderers are not permitted, ever. They keep themselves clean-shaven and short nailed, and will rarely show more flesh than necessary. They have strong morals, and deep convictions, and will not usually resort to cheating or stealing, unless necessary. Each member has different fashion choices, though a popular clan choice of clothing is to wear a badge with the clan symbol on it embroidered on the back of their favorite shirt or jacket. The clan is generally very proud of their heritage and will gladly recount the history of it for anyone interested. Each member is happy with their group of family, and generally remains upbeat and optimistic with their future. Rarely do they not have a book on hand and when not talking they are often blank-eyes and unfocused, staring off into space, lost in thought. Clan Heirarchy The Maseika Clan is a family line of more than simple leaders and followers. There was a time in the distant past where Kings of Clans would sit upon leather seated chairs and command respect and authority. The days of ultimate decision and destiny resting on a single person’s shoulders. Those days ended with Teimura. Teimura and The Former Clan Heirarchy expired that same day, and since his tragic death, no one has risen to take over the reigns of the clan. His daughter dead, the sight passed on to many, and not one real leader in the group. And that is how it was for decades. Scholars have little use for Kings, and as such, they developed a simple system, one that many considered the staple of a family and proper child raising. The system was called “Ask your parents.” If you were young, and you needed something decided, you asked your parents. If you were an adult, you went and asked your parents, and if your parents were dead, you asked other parents. And so the Council of the Elders was born, at first it was roughly 15 members of the large clan with a myriad of ideas. Nowadays each family line has their own single elder, male or female, to take the role as a council member. Of the six lines present, 4 are male and 2 are female. If there is a clan crisis, these six members discuss it and the destiny of the clan. Scholars first, and leaders second, they are deliberate in their decisions and always weigh costs and benefits. If it doesn’t improve the clan and offers a risk, rarely will the course of action take place. The positive side of this system of decisions is that the council does not rest until a decision has been made, though council meetings have been known to go on for days, and weeks at a time. The council sends a single representative in order, once a month to the Kusakage’s building to give updates on the clan, and all their activities. Their openness with the government of Kusagakure has made them a valuable asset to the small but growing village. Aside from the council there are no special leaders of the group. Obviously the trainers for the taijutsu the clan teaches or the tutors for philosophy and linguistics have a higher status in some eyes, most every member of the clan is considered generally equal, with seniority earning the most respect, followed by teachers, artists, parents, and childhood geniuses, though each member of the clan is considered “genius” by ordinary means for their simple abstract way of thinking. Clan Housing To the naked eye, the grounds of the complex looks like a skewed cube, a single prismatic shape against the grass. The cube is a few stories high and a quite a distance back it seems to contain windows, though the windows never have people looking out of them. Each window is placed in the epicenter of the wall and is quite large, the glass expanses lighting up each section. The correct term for the shape the complex was built after is a tesseract, or hypercube. Just as a cube is 6 squares joined together in the third dimension, a hypercube is 8 cubes joined together in the 4th dimension. As one enters the complex through rich wood doors, they notice a very large room, a single cube shaped room with a window on the roof opening up to the sky. Oddly enough, the cube itself is on the first floor, and one notices that as he enters, yet the sky is viewable, whether it be fourth dimensional manipulation or simply illusion, it is rather interesting to see. The opening room is a large open area with a large area where many a genin can practice their training or meet with a few friends for a scholarly discussion on physics and how kunai fly straight. The cube has 5 doors, one on each wall except the ceiling. Yes, the floor has a door as well. If one were to try a door and not be a member of the clan, they reach the second cube of the complex nicknamed the dungeon. An empty room with only one door, but no way out. When someone attempts to open that door, they will enter, only to find themselves right back in the room they left. The room is completely isolated and devoid of any furnishings. No chairs, paintings, or even dust decorates the empty room as the trespasser spends his time waiting for a clan member to investigate. The other 4 doors lead to the other 6 cubes. Yes, that is right, each door has a possibility of leading to more than one cube and each different cube is as different as possible. Each council elder chooses to decorate his/her own cube depending on personal taste. Each family line in the clan is divided into one of the six “tribes” of the clan. The division only exists in living arrangement, nothing more. Each of the council member cubes contain 5 doors as usual, with each of the 5 doors leading directly to either entire houses built inside a cube or another hallway cube to enter into another house. Each house is fashioned much like a two story apartment with no wall at the staircase, meaning the second story is inherently visible from the first story of the apartment from the right angle. Each ceiling has a large sunroof, which is actually a window, which can be seen from the outside of the complex. If one were to get lost in the multiple cubes and passageways, never fear. If they are escorted by a clan member they can find their way, and if they are a clan member but get lost, they return to the common-room on their next door choice. Many genin are jokingly scolded for forgetting how to return home, and it is often used as an excuse as to why kids are late for supper.

| Ehhhh where do I start... oh right. What?! Excuse me if I came as rude now because that wasn't my intention, it's just that the clans KKG is so far-fetched it's ridiculous.

- This bloodline not only makes them acutely aware of the alternate versions of themselves, but through certain techniques they can attune these variations to our reality, and make them part of our world.
This process has been refined, and trained, turning it into the dangerous taijutsu style. Through their manipulation of variations, hitting a Maseika is hard enough, but avoiding being hit is another feat all together.
So you can see the different variations of events taking place at some moment and not only that, you can attune them to our reality? What did you just try to say here? This to me looks as a perfect example of godmodding. No matter what you say you can see all the possible outcomes and practically dodge them with ease. So that's a gigantic no.

- Chakra constructs are highlighted when the doujutsu is active because they don't vibrate with the timeline. This makes genjutsu illusions especially easy to discern from reality.
Again, no. There is no easy way to notice a genjutsu. Not even Uchiha or Hyuuga can see a genjutsu easily.

- Present
The first stage of the Eiseikougan is fairly basic, but comes with it a devastating weapon. This whole part is pointless because we have a SC which gives you photographic memory. So remove.

- Past
At this stage of the doujutsu, the user has gotten a better control over their vision into the 4th dimension. This costs 25 Chakra points To me this is a a useless technique. Firstly because we don't have a time system and you could only see NPC's and inanimate objects that past the spot you are looking at. To actually see a PC that passed recently you would have to be in the same topic to see them. But I'm still going to deny this technique because a brain cannot handle so much information in just an instant.

- Future
The final stage of the Eiseikougan unlocks the most fearsome ability, the ability to see into the future. This too is a gigantic no. Why you ask? Because we do not allow future sight. Sure you might only see a second of the future that will happen in a week or month but still we do no allow that.
However to be honest, I'm actually liking the taijutsu style. Granted I haven't read the actual jutsus, but from the description it seems like a very well done style. However the problem with it is that it's relying on your Doujutsu which is denied. So what I suggest is to either drop the clan and keep the style for a normal char, join a new, already made clan or make a completely new clan that doesn't involve seeing in future. |

| Delete this thread. I'll keep the Taijutsu style, and I'll create something else. Thanks anyway. |
