| Clan Name: Naden Location: Konohagakure no Sato. (Hidden Leaf Village)
Signature Traits: Unlike most clans, the Naden clan is rather large; consisting of approximately 50~60 members. Although, the clan does share some similarities; like the fact that they like to refrain from letting outsiders in without marriage or some other relationships. The Naden clan members themselves are fairly easy to identify. The members all have unnaturally colored hair, ranging from green to red, to even purple and rarely have monochrome or natural hair colors. It is unknown why this is, but it is a possibility that the clan genetics are somehow tied in with hair colors in general. One thing that the members do share though is the natural green eye color, sometimes even Hazel, although much rarer. It has been heard of for members to have other eye colors; but green and hazel tend to be the most common for this clan.
The Naden people also share a couple more things in common. Nearly all members of the Naden clan are born with the natural affiliation toward the Fuuton Element. This does not always occur, especially when a member breeds with an outsider; but its incredibly common within the clan itself. Those not born with the Fuuton element are usually discriminated due to their complete inability to use the clan Hiden itself. Usually those that are not born with the Fuuton Element may decide to pick it up later, but are completely unable to use the clan techniques until then. The final trait, that ALL members of the clan possess is their naturally adapt chakra control. Members of the clan are able to walk up vertical surfaces and stand on water at much younger ages, and are able to learn chakra-control related techniques much quicker due to their Hiden requiring a rather large amount of control per use.
Kekkei Genkai: The Kekkei Genkai of the Naden clan is a rather simple to use technique specifically designed for evasive and defensive purposes; but does provide somewhat of an offensive purpose. It is not truly a Kekkei Genkai, but rather a Hiden; or Hijutsu. Anyone can use it, but it is a very well kept secret, much like the Nara or Inuzaka. The basis of the Hiden is compressing the air around a specified location, creating a semi-solid orb. Of course, it is not truely solid, but rather a super-condensed ball of air pressure. The air is so pressurized, that one could actually touch it as if it were a solid. The pressurized ball of air is approximately 1 foot (12in or 30.5cm) in diameter, and able to suppress about 1100 pounds (500 kilograms) of force (including weight) without shifting in axis at all. The orb may be smaller, but cannot support the same pressure. This makes it very suitable for people to stand or jump on, or even throw. This orb can also be wield like an iron weight; capable of improving physical attacks by applying greater punching force (In this case the orb itself). It can also be thrown like a tennis ball; but because of its heavy density, it creates a much bigger impact radius and can even leave a small crater. The orb cannot exceed the 1 foot diametric size unless used in a specific ninjutsu.
The technique is not a Ninjutsu, nor a Genjutsu or even a jutsu in general. It is but a manipulation of chakra, which can only be accomplished by selected individuals, namely of the Naden Clan. All of the secrets of the clan are kept in a single, incredibly well guarded scroll. The scroll has a form of blood seal; and if a person is not at least 1/4 blood related to this clan; they cannot open the scroll them self. It would be possible for someone completely unrelated to the clan to open it, but the odds are in the billions. The production of this clan technique is rather easy: The user concentrates chakra to create a faint orb of chakra in their palm or the sole of their foot. Then; they execute the technique by sending a quick surge of chakra into it; causing it to compress rapidly and create the pressurized orb (For the sake of definitions, let's call it a gravity orb). This orb is also incredibly difficult to see, almost entirely transparent. Since it bends light, it looks much like a Predator in the movie of the same name, except... round. This allows the user to seem as though they may be floating, when in reality standing on the orb.
The orb can have one of two possible properties. These properties cannot be interchangeable (can't switch from one to another, or repeat that process). The gravity orb may either be dynamic or static. Dynamic (relative to the name) means that it can be moved fluidly and easily. One can use a dynamic gravity orb to punch kick or even throw at the target. Static on the other hand causes the orb to press itself into the air; making it entirely immovable unless a force of 1100lbs or greater strikes it, in which case it will shift in axis a variable amount. The static form is very useful for stepping on and kicking off of in mid-air, and is the primary use of the technique. After chakra leaves the gravity orb for more than 3 seconds, the orb will implode; leaving a strange black dot in the air where it was, almost like a paint blotch. This blotch does nothing but obstruct light passages, and wears off after 5 posts. This same blotch occurs when an orb is thrown via dynamic usage. When used for a static purpose; it immediately forms the blotch upon chakra release.
There are a few restrictions to the usage of this technique, due to its semi-overpowered nature.
- If the orb is sustained for more than 1 post, it requires additional chakra over time. The amount of chakra required is based on the size, basically the larger the more it consumes over time. The default (For 1 foot) is 4 chakra per post.
- Only 1 gravity orb may be used per post. This is to ensure no one goes around sprinting on the air as if it were a solid substance. If the character decides to continue that 1 orb for an extra post; they are then allowed to use a second orb on their next post, instead of having to dispel the orb and still wait one turn.
- If a property is chosen, it cannot be changed unless a new orb is summoned. This is to keep someone from for instance creating a dynamic orb, then changing it into a static mid combat to avoid an attack
- Even though this technique does not necessarily require hand seals much like how water-walking or rasengan doesn't require hand seals; Genin and Chuunin ranks must use the hand seals for the sole reason that it requires too much chakra control for such a low-rank to maintain. Advanced Chuunin may freely execute the technique. Note: Techniques that are larger/more powerful than the defaults stated above MUST have hand seals.
History: Much like most clans, the Naden clan was created by a single man. This man had a rather ambitious idea, which was simply "to fly." The man was already part of the Naden clan, but at the time they were but a well known Fuuton clan; one of the largest in the nation. During the first ninja war, a large number of them were wiped out, but there was quite a big portion remaining. After the end of the war, and when villages began forming, the man began studying ninjutsu to a much further extent. With a few colleagues and friends they studied Fuuton ninjutsu for many years, until finally, one day, some 5-6 years before the beginning of the second ninja war, the two perfected what is the clan's Hijutsu. The man was able to change the air pressure around him, thus allowing him to actually levitate and fly. sadly though; the man was incapable of teaching the technique before his death, and simply left behind what were essentially the notes he took. The notes were assembled into a series of instructions allowing the clan members to replicate the gravity orb technique; but the instructions for creating a full fledged air-pressure control were lost in time forever.
At the time the clan was Nomadic, meaning they belonged to no country and were constantly on the move. Because of this life was rather harsh, but the passing down of this technique easy. The clan was on the move for the next few years until the second ninja war broke out, in which case they participated in it. They did remarkably well, and gained the recognition of the Kaminari no Kuni. Shortly after allying themselves with the Lightning country they were taken in and recognized as one of the main clans. After many years of remaining peaceful, the third world war broke out, and when the clan refused to cooperate, they were hunted down. There were approximately 200 of them, and by the end of the massacre, a tenth of them remained. Fleeing as refugees, the few remaining members took their secrets and headed South, eventually reaching Konohagakure. Due to the bad relationship with Kumogakure, Konoha was rather suspicious, but after realizing that they could use the information that the Naden knew to their advantage, the clan was happily accepted. Over the course of the last few decades the clan has regained some status and grown in size heavily. It has recruitment auditions every few years, where one member is allowed into the clan without any actual ties to the clan. This tactic is used to give the clan the illusion of openness, and give it fewer PR problems with the general public. Clan Jutsu:
- Spoiler:
Name: Fumidai - Stepping Stone Rank: C Type: Hijutsu (Kinda Ninjutsu) Range: Sole of foot Element: N/A Description: The user creates the Naden Clan gravity orb at the sole of their foot, and proceeds to create a static of this orb in the air. The user can then kick off as an extra jumping boost or stand on it for as long as they want, as long as they continue feeding chakra to it. The orb is of default dimensions and capabilities (30.5cm diameter, able to sustain 500kg of force). Upon releasing the jutsu, a black mark will be left in the air for 5 posts. This mark does nothing but make the space where the orb was seem occupied. Chakra Cost: 10, 4 per post if used in duration.
Name: Hatsudenki - Dynamo Rank: C Type: Hijutsu (Kinda Ninjutsu) Range: Palm of Hand Element: N/A Description: The user creates the Naden Clan gravity orb in their palm. The orb is dynamic and capable of moving through the air. When striking the target using the hand with a physical attack, it deals 1 rank more damage. The orb can also be throw, and due to the incredibly density, can cause very heavy blunt damage and terrain destruction. Much like a cannonball, except not nearly as leg-removing. The orb can also be used for defensive purposes, such as flicking away thrown weapons, basic matter, and defense against heavy weaponry; such as swords and axes. The defensive usage cannot defend against intangible offensive attacks, such as fire or wind. Chakra Cost: 10, 4 per post if used in duration.
Name: Genshuku Sasu - Gravity Thrust Rank: C Type: Hijutsu (Kinda Taijutsu) Range: Close Element: N/A Description: The user creates the air-pressure orb around their fist or foot; giving their kicks and punches stronger damage-dealing properties. Similar to Dynamo; but used only for a very short period of time, and thus consuming far less chakra. The user simply punches or kicks with the chakra enhanced fists, dealing more blunt force. The force is equal to about 1/2 of a rank. It would be like punching with brass knuckles or kicking with iron plated shoes. Just a bit more powerful. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Shinku Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close~Mid (0m~1m) Element: Fuuton Description: The user performs the necessary hand seals before creating the gravity orb in their palm. The user then thrusts; applying extra Fuuton chakra to the orb and causing it to burst directly forward in a cylindrical manner. The burst creates a shock wave which only strikes objects within the designated cylindrical area. The force is capable of pushing a person of any weight at least five meters back. If performed at point blank range, it can cause the muscles to spasm for 2 posts. Chakra Cost: 16

| Not a mod, but have been around here for quite some time and know a thing or two. If you want, I'll offer a little advice?

This does not always occur, especially when a member breeds with an outsider; but its incredibly common within the clan itself. Those not born with the Fuuton element are usually discriminated and have much harder times learning how to use their Hiden not only because of this discrimination, but also because the Hiden is easier learn with Fuuton.
The clan's Hijutsu requires actual wind/air manipulation, so those born without a Fuuton affinity couldn't actual access the techniques. You just need to edit out the above text that I bolded.

Why exactly does this happen? I know it's Naruto, hardly a 'factually correct' universe, but a little explanation might be appreciated.
I'm nitpicking, as I can't find much wrong with this. I'd suggest double-checking the clan list for anything similar to yours and make sure if one exists, that the differences are clear.
Hope that helps!
P.S. Mods, I trust you don't mind me picking this up? |

| Thanks xD I actually appreciate someone looking it over. I uh, fixed the whole Fuuton thing after realizing that the jutsu itself is actually very similar to Fuuton control. Either way, joining this clan without the Fuuton element is kinda pointless.
As for the paint blotch thing... Honestly I only added it for a gimmick effect. I'm perfectly willing to remove it if necessary. I just added it so my friend would stop bothering me about some new anime he saw with a chick who stands on paint blotches.. Yeah, he gave me the inspiration for the idea...
Finally: I did check the clan list, most of them at least. I skipped over the ones that made new elements altogeth-- Anyway, (I like to rant..) the only thing similar I found was a clan where you can manipulate gravity for your character and anything they can lift; which hardly resembles this. I didn't bother checking jutsu to see if anything similar exists, so I'm just crossing my fingers it doesn't.
Thanks again for the advice, hope the staff returns fairly soon |

Sounds pretty cool! Okies, well I don't really think you'll be pulled up on it. Have an explanation in mind, just in case.

Again, I think you'll be okay. I am quite familiar with modding apps, but I've been out of the staff-loop on here for so so long I can't promise they won't find things I missed.
Glad I could help, sorry that it's back to waiting. Surely someone will pick this up soon. |
