NATURAL BEAUTY; of the purest kind is something rare and what Riku possesses. This kind of beauty is rare like a diamond and as delicate as a blooming flower. Her facial features are described as being perfect and angular. With her high cheekbones, delicate jawline and pocket features her face is something which you cannot help but be in awe of, like a work of art. She is known to be able to stop men alike in their tracks with just a simple look as her beauty is physically breath-taking. Her teeth and smile shine bright in any light whether natural or artificial in perfect order and position.

MARBLE;, smooth is how the beautiful woman's skin is said to be. She has porcelin like skin with no imperfections further adding to her noble image. She is naturally gifted with a influencial tone where depending on the weather she can tan easily. Thus, Riku has a more natural skin colour which gives her a slight, complete tan across her whole body. Though she would still be considered on the pale side as she lives in Kumogakure. Thus, she wouldn't be considered to have a drastic and overbearing tan, but a natural olive skin which is amplified if the weather in her country is good.

SILKY BLONDE; is how this kunoichi's hair would be described. She has short silky blonde hair that flows from her head down to the sides of her neck. Her hair angle downwards to the front and she has a short fringe, this is to prevent her hair coming across her face in battle. The cut is quite modern and sharp and with highlighted with her bright blonde hair the women in the village see it as trend-setting and there are often many requests in the barber shops for exactly the same cut. Her hair shines when the sun comes out with a holy glow and when she is in flight or movement the silky entrails flow through the air elegantly.

THE ASSETS; or her breasts are something that give her much attraction in everyday life also. Riku has been gifted with large breasts and everyone knows it including her. They are quite overbearing and abrupt and it always seems to catch the attention of people even if they don't mention it. Riku isn't overly sensitive about them but she is widely aware that in some situations they do cause a problem. But, in the general sense she see's them as assets and in the right situation they can be used as a very good persuasive tool, especially when it comes to male shinobi.

THE OUTFIT; is something that Riku isn't overly passionate about. Riku isn’t known to be to worried about her looks and clothing but she often doesn’t mind what she wears and usually keeps it simple. Obviously all the clothes that she does wear are of the top most quality and designer label but are efficient and don’t get in the way of her being a ninja, in fact they are ninja specific. She wears a thin fish-net undertop which is used to compress her body and act as a comfortable top. Over the top of that she wears a short robe-like dress which is a deep red colour and has a silky darker red lining. The sleeves of the arms on her dress come down to her elbows. She has a thick, skin coloured belt which wraps around her mid-section.

This, at the rear hold her pouches and any items she needs for battle. Also at the back of the belt is were she keeps her flute, in a specially made case the same colour as her belt, which is used to protect it until it is needed. She wears long arm bands on her forearms the same colour as her dress which are made of metal and are used as arm-guards. She wears large black ninja boots which have a country feel, that come half way up her calf. She doesn’t like to accessories too much and just wears simple, small gold earings and a gold ring which was handed down from her mother, both costing quite a bit.

Personality:

COURAGE; is something that all truly special ninja have. A shinobi can only go so far with their talent and raw skill. There is always that tiny driving force that seems to keep them going even in the most dire situations. It is a force that surpasses all amounts of training and all levels of shinobi prowess. It is an age old power that surges through each and every living thing, but many chose to keep it dormant, and do not reveal it. What then is this powerful force that's power can break through seemingly unbreakable defences and unending onslaughts? Courage. This is a character trait a great shinobi cannot be without. If one was without courage, many a mission would go incomplete or, undoubtedly, fail.

MISCONCEPTION; is what happened while in her youth. While Riku was young a common misconseption of her was that she was very spoilt. From the background that she came from, such as her family and her clan, it made many believe that she was overly spoilt, but from a background of hers it would be hard not to be a little. Some say that she could be quite precious and stuck-up because she came from a different class from most other people, living in “high-society”. Sometimes she said things that came across as being stuck-up but she didn’t intend it that way. She was the only girl and is was used to getting everything she wanted from her parents. She had often been isolated as a child being the only one and rarely played with children her own age being cared for by older people a majority of the time, and this had effected her personality. She could sometimes be awkward in situations which a usual person her age wouldn’t be, and she lacked some social skills, and confidence which comes with day to day contact with people her age. Her background as a child shaped her personality as she grew-up. Her lack of socialising with other children her own age when she was young effected her personality today. Now that she is grown-up, in no way, shape or form is Riku seen as spoilt anymore. She has grown into a fine women, and all ninja around the village have the up-most respect for her.

FLIRTATIOUS; is how Riku has learn't to cope. Due to her unbalanced childhood she doesn’t have the same socialising mechanisms as most people. Instead of interaction of normal sorts, Riku resorts to flirtation as a way of interacting with people. In a situation which may be awkward or new, she reverts back to this as it is the only way she knows how, as she utilizes her beautiful looks. She will often touch people with her soft hands on their shoulder, neck or back to try and intimidate them with her intoxicating beauty. She often gets overly playful in situations which are otherwise overly serious. An example of this would be her throwing a wink to her opponent in battle or to say something provocatively inappropriate at a formal meeting or event. But anyone who know her knows that this is her way of coping with a stressful or nervous situation and thus not much is taken note of. But to though's who don't know her this style and technique seem to work especially well on men, and in battle. Riku often taunts her opponents with flirtatious remarks which can be quite off-putting.

FIERCE; fiery and strong willed are all terms that relate strongly to Riku. For all of her flirtatiousness, she is ruthless, and fiercely caring and protective towards all who come from her village and she would do everything and anything to protect them, her loyalty runs very deep. Riku is very headstrong and determined, this being both a positive and negative attribute. When someone she cares about is in trouble, more than often she will go into situations very hot-headed and bashful. She has been known to smash her desk completely in half with a slam of her fist, and she completely represents the phrase “Beware of the scorn of an angry woman.” Her personality though is very decisive and she is often quick to act in situations, leading many to believe she doesn’t think them through. But Riku is very intelligent, but she reflects this nature of her personality is a quite boisterous manner.

FAMILY ORIENTED; is the philosophy that Riku cares with her and lives her life by. She shows deep affection for anyone who comes from the Lightning Country and Kumogakure seeing everyone in the village as her family. She often calls the ninja “Darling” or “love” as a sign of affection towards them. But if anyone tries to harm her village the full brunt of her force is known, and her true destructive, ruthless nature comes forth. Riku has an immense respect for the villages past, and its past leaders, though she does not condon some of the methods which they used. She highlights the past as being important and shows much respect for it, holding a philosophy which correlates to being strong and holding onto values in which you believe in. Riku would go to any length to make sure the people she loved and care for were safe, this being her ultimately loyalty. If she feels that her village is threatened in anyway she does not stand-off to act. This makes her actions in some situations very surprising and unexpected.

INTELLIGENCE; is one of her traits that has allowed to her get to where she has today. On and off the battlefield she has shown to herself and others that she is more than capable of leading from the front and executing the job at hand. She shows a higher enlightenment and knowledge which comes with age and experience. She can seem to have an overgrown ego to some, but she knows that she is nothing but a single woman, and is fully aware of her own mortality. She knows that the youth are the keys to the future, and that their lives are more important than her own. A distinguishing feature of Riku's nature is her high moral standards. She would never forgive the death of a village member. Her stance, that a human being cannot live without some form of moral code. She knows however not to hold grudge's to the ones she loves if they make a mistake or slip up as no one is perfect.

INTERNAL BEAUTY; and external beauty is incredibly rare, but Riku likes to think that she has it. Riku can be seen to be care-free and relaxed when outside of a work situation. She loves an opportunity to get out and just be a kunoichi in the field instead of doing paperwork. She is often seen taking generic missions in the village much to the surprise and disagreement of her workforce and others. But being a ninja is what she has devoted her life to and she wouldn't have it any other way, it is her passion. Although she is quite well endowed when it comes to money through her family she is not one to linger on material thoughts. Riku more than often likes to have a laugh with her constituents and is very cheerful and she is often seen smiling. She is also partial to alcohol and is not afraid to have fun. Her favourite spirit would be Vodka or Whisky and she is never seen without a glass and bottle on her office table. She is kind and caring to others and more than not tries to be polite. She has quite the charming smile along with all of her other assets. She can even issue death threats whilst still smiling.

Special Characteristics:

INTENSIVE PHYSICAL TRAINING;
Riku being a Taijutsu Master has trained all her ninja-life with an intensive focus on the physical aspect of training. For over a decade she trained with heavy ankle and wrist weight's (similar to Rock Lee) and with that has gained great base strength and speed. Riku is very strong, a lot stronger than most men of the village. Only utilizing her strength alone, she's able to punch a good cracking circle in stone, and create small craters in the earth. But her speed is what she is renowned for, being possibly the fasted ninja knowned today. Ever since she graduated and became a ninja, she has trained with specific weights, and with tireless effort she has gained the speed she has today. Her reflexes and base speed are unmatched by all and without any enchancements she is able to go at blistering speeds. Even if an opponent could track her movements, they would find it difficult to counter anything as she at such an incredible speed. Shinobi in the village note that her speed is nearly supersonic in nature.

ACROBATIC MASTER;
Along with training physically to improve her body she has become very talented at acrobatic feats. She has trained intensively on focusing on movements in the air and on the ground, able to perform amazing summersaults, flips, cartwheels etc. This is to improve her overall movement and to give her a dynamic advantage over opponents when in close combat. While most ninja would find it hard to get out of the "said" sticky situation, Riku is able to navigate through chaos with ease, using her brilliant and graceful movements through the air and ground.

FOCUSSED MIND;
Riku, due to her clans ability has a larger chakra reserve than a normal ninja her rank. Due to her unique 'Pull Chakra' she gains a 40% increase in her total chakra levels. But not only does she have a large chakra reserve but good chakra control to go along with it. She finds that utilizing the chakra that you do have efficiently, is much more effective in battle, and every amount is precious because it could mean life or death. Riku has also trained to perfect the timing and effectiveness of her handseals, and this has granted her the ability to form one-handed seals when needed.

MASTER STRATEGIST & TACTICIAN;
With her decades of experience as a teacher and ninja, along with being the Leader of Kumogakure, Riku is a very intelligent women. She is capable of quickly adjusting to new developments and making quick decisions accordingly. She has great tactical acumen. She is shown to be also a very perceptive women, able to analysis difficult situations with ease. Her skill at battle tactics is undeniable, as a renowned ninja she is able to take control and manipulate her enemies, with beauty comes great able to manipulate.

Special Abilities/Characteristics: Members of the Flash Force hold and use the basic tools that a normal ninja uses, kunai, shuriken etc. But each Flash Force member carries and uses a unique weapon known as a Jitte. The modern Jitte or (Jutte) is about 45 cm (18 inches) long with no cutting edge and a one-pronged tine, about 5 cm long starting just above the handle and pointing toward the tip. The tine is used to hook swords and effectively trap and snap them in the right hands. The tine's proximity to the hand would make it rather dangerous. When faced with a swordsman, a likely use for the tine would be to capture and arrest the blade having evaded it. The tine's more common use is to hook into clothing or parts of the body like the nose or mouth, or to push into joints or other weak points on the body. The Jitte can also be used in much the same manner as other short sticks or batons, to strike large muscle groups and aid in joint manipulation.
Origin: Riku was given this blade when she joined Flash Force. The design is exactly the same as other Jittes, however there have been some simple modifications to her's since she first received it. The hilt is solid gold and has the Hougaku clan symbol on the hilt. It is customary for Flash Force members to learn how to use it in combat, but even though she doesn't specialize in weaponry she quite proficient with it especially now she is the Raikage. She normally uses it for immobilizing an opponent, and is quite good at doing it.

Background Information

History:

[The Beginning - A Brilliant Kunoichi is Born]


The history of Riku Hougaku is one of mixed emotions. Her life was full of much heartache and rough times, but also glimmers of joy. Riku was born thirty-two years ago in a small private room in the Kumogakure hospital. Her parents had been trying to get pregnant for a long time, and after having a few miscarriage's they were weary about this birth. But when Riku was born she was the apple of both her parents’ eye, especially her mothers for she had wanted a child of her own for so long.

Her father, the current leader of the Hougaku clan at the time deep down wanted a son, so when he found out that Riku was going to be his first born and most likely his only child he was somewhat disappointed. It wasn't that he would love Riku any less; he just wanted to have a son who could carry on the legacy that is the clan from his own blood. The clan bloodline was mostly passed down in the male gene, and it was rare for a female clan member to possess the bloodline, this is why Riku's father wanted a son as he wanted his child to have the abilities that he has, and to be able to teach them and have that closeness.

But little did he know that his daughter was a rare blossoming flower in her own right, and through the slightest and most rare chance inherited the gene which is rarely found in females, and inherited the wondrous bloodline ability of the clan. Riku grew-up in a surrounding that not many others in the village or even the known world could relate to. She was born into considerable wealth, and lived in a mansion of sorts up on the Kumogakure mountain side. The mansion itself is the main building among the clan compound and it is the most striking as well. The buildings of the clan all come under the same theme that resides in Kumo, of old, elegant, stone based buildings.

From an early age Riku was pampered and was given everything she ever wanted. It was the classic only child syndrome to the extreme as her family’s wealth and love for their only child was centered. Her father being a major player in the Kumo community was a very busy man. Riku didn't often see him in her childhood as he was constantly at meetings with the board or having to do something concerning the clan. There were instances where she didn't even see her father for days on end, and it took its toll on the little girl. With this she relied on her mother who she loved and adored very much. Naturally, they had a close relationship and seeing as she was a stay at home mother, they spent a lot of time together. But then her mother feel pregnant once again to the surprise of everyone. Tensei was born, Riku's little brother. He would become the center of her fathers attention, the aire he always wanted.

Riku was incredibly talented physically, and even at a young age she possessed the ability to be able to perform acrobatic feats. This caused her mother to come to the conclusion that she did possess the clan bloodline of 'pull' chakra, and ordered that her husband listen. Tests where done, and it was concluded that the young girl did carry the gene of the clan, only the third woman in the history of the clan to do so. This made her father incredibly happy. He now had the child that he always wanted, someone that could carry on his legacy of the clan. With this notion he entered her into the Kumo academy school to learn how to become a ninja and train in the basics. Riku was undecided if this is what she wanted to do yet, but she went along with it as it was the most contact she had with her father in a long time and wished to keep it that way.

[The Middle - Becoming A Valiant Warrior, Heartache and Pleasure]


Riku was entered into the academy but on her first day she was so scared that she had to go home early. From living such a sheltered life, and only having contact really with her mother and the adult working staff in their mansion, Riku lacked the communication and interaction skills that most young children have. Her being and only child and living a sheltered life meant that when she went to the academy with all the other children she didn't know how to react. The contact with all the children her own age freaked her out, and she found it difficult to even talk.

With this fact, her parents tried everything to get her out of her shell and talk with children her own age, but because of their naivety when she was younger it soon became a somewhat impossible task. It drove her mother crazy as she wouldn't partake in any group activities with children her own age, and when she did go to the academy she wouldn't talk with anyone. They went to the doctors to see if there was anything medically wrong with the girl, but it all came to be conclusive and they were stuck with what they had. Her parents didn't know what to do; they were at their wits end, what if she stayed like this for her entire life? Soon after the doctors appointment for Riku they had to go back again as her mother feel incredibly ill.

It was unknown why or what her mother had, and why it attacked her so dramatically. But within a few days she was dead, and it was a big shock to everyone that knew here. She was young and beautiful, and Riku was the splitting image of her. Riku's father was immensely upset with the lose, partly blaming his daughter for her death as it was her unwillingness to co-operate and act normally that drove her to insanity, and eventually death. In a small way Riku also blamed herself. If only she could have snapped out of the feeling of loneliness and being in her own world, as she know was directly in that situation. With her father being as busy as he always was and being even more neglectful, it seemed that the mansion staff, in particular the chef who was an old woman, and her husband the gardener took her under their wing and raised her as if she was their own.

The attention from the woman and man made dramatic increases on her personality. She was now better at communicating with children her own age, though she still wasn't at the normal level. She was now operating more normally and to the relief of her new caregivers she was reacting to them to, as they were close to her mother and vowed to look over the young girl. The time came for graduation at the academy, and Riku passed all of her tests to become a fully fledged ninja. Everyone was surprised as they didn't know how she would go as she never gave any indication of her skill, especially to the other students. She was now a genin for Kumo and was assigned a squad with two other ninja her own age and male jounin to be her sensei.

Riku's father was so proud of her daughter, and could finally connect with her in some small way. He taught her how to use the clan abilities, and was surprised with the skill that she portrayed. She was very talented, and was catching on quickly. He had taught her nearly everything at a genin level and was starting to think that she could be the one to take over the clan when he died, as he wanted it. But he still didn't have the contact with her that she wanted, and this was voided with her caretaker parents. Her father treated her more like a student then his daughter. Riku still didn't hang out with children her own age and it was worrying to her caretakers. So the man, who was ex-shinobi and was also an accomplished fighter and taijutsu user sought to personally teach Riku in the ways of the Hajikun [Grip Fist Style] which he learnt from his own master.

Riku was excited to learn this unique style as it was renowned as being one of the most difficult and power taijutsu styles in the world. She was surprised that her gardener would know such a thing, but when she learnt of his past she finally grasp the idea. They thought that if they could get her into fighting, then she could meet and battle with others her own age and become more social. So he taught Riku how to fight in the style, and for a while it was as if she would never get it. The style itself was very difficult, but eventually she would become a successful user. He decided to enter her in some underground fighting competitions that few knew about in the Lightning Country. She was excited but also scared. These competitions were the real deal, she would be fighting grown men and woman who were talented fighters in their own right, but he knew that she was up to the challenge, Riku was special.

So between entering underground competitions for fighting and going on missions as a genin her general skill levels improve dramatically. So it was no surprise when she was promoted to chuunin, one of the earliest in her class. She showed a dedicated, skilful physical set, something that doesn't come around very often. She trained very hard, working on her physical body to get into shape for the underground tournaments, but also with her father to better her ninjutsu skills and clan abilities. She soon became a known name in the underground circuit, and fought under the title Flash Goddess, as her speed and precision was something to be admired. She started to win tournament after tournament, and was soon the champion of the underground fighting scene, something never done by a girl one especially her age.

[The Ending - Rising to the Top, Reaching for the Stars]


Riku's talents and skills here starting to get recognised by the higher-ups in the village, and she was in contention to be promoted to jounin. But the most surprising aspect of her and the most incredibly would have been her personality change. Though she still doesn't have the communication skills that one would expect, she channelled her persona and confidence in the fighting ring into everyday life, and was now better at communication with others, especially people her own age. She had grown up, and was now a very striking and beautiful woman. She attracted many men's attention and perhaps this is the reason why she channels her uncomfortableness with others into a flirtatious manner.

Quickly she began to rise among the ranks, and was promoted to jounin. She was now focussed solely on being the best ninja she could be, and was quickly becoming one of the most talented the village had ever seen. Many couldn't have done what she had done, but her background offered her the resources for her to make it. It shaped what she became, a strong talented women. And she would need all that strength and talent to fight the challenges that the future would bring her. With the 2nd Raikage's death, and anarchy amongst the village, Riku was set to face one of her toughest challenges yet. The village was in chaos; many were ragging and rampaging in the streets, striking down houses and business setting them on fire. It was the job of the shinobi of the village to stop the chaos, but it came as a price to many.

Riku's father and her caretakers, while trying to stop ragging citizens and wayward shinobi from attacking the Hougaku clan compound died. The death of not only her father, but the people that cared for her, and raised her to be the person she was today made her angry. With that she set out to correct the village, and kill all thoughts who sort to bring it down. After a week of chaos the village was restored and balanced was once again settled. After the rush of adrenaline for nearly a week, Riku's efforts and determination earnt her title of the new Raikage. Through a time of confusion she lost everything that was close to her. Her father, and her caretakers, but she strived and put the village first nearly single handily taking down and restoring balance.

This was the single factor that the council looked on when stating her as the official 3rd Raikage of the village. She had a lot on her plate now. She had to grieve and get over the death of her family, but not only that she had to restore a whole village which had cracked at the seams. The propaganda and totalitarian style of leadership had done nothing for the village, and now everyone had paid the price. Riku was going to bring change. She had lost everything because of the corruptness and chaotic nature of the prior leadership, and she vowed to never let history repeat itself. She was now a woman, a woman who had grown up so much from that small little girl who was so sheltered and innocent. She was tough and strong and willing to do anything for Kumo. The village was now her family, and she would do anything to protect it.

Description: This is an advanced technique which was created by the Raikage Roku Hougaku, which is then taught and passed onto advanced 'Flash Force' members. Shunpo is a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the bases of this technique is speed. The user will pump a exact amount of raiton based chakra into their legs for a split second dramatically increasing the speed which they can move. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. For this technique to work the user must be limited to being on the ground, as they have to launch off of one foot to perform the technique. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of shunpo can move; those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower, which requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become winded far easier in a shorter amount of time. This skill, when mastered fundimentally allows the user to move at near bushin speed over short distances. This techniqe can only be used for a limited time during battle as it consumes a A-ranks worth of chakra each time it is used, which would drain the user considerably over long periods. Description: An extremely useful, but equally deadly technique, this technique is, at its core, a defensive technique. It was created as a method for Kumogakure shinobi to defend against opponents who also wielded raiton. However, what better way to defend against an opposing lightning attack but to turn it back on them. The only 'seal' used in this technique is the "Ram" seal extended outwards (pointers face outwards). The enemy jutsu is caught upon the tips of the fingers and is then guided down the left arm by the fingers of the right, along the chakra pathways of the arm and into those of the lower abdomen, being careful to keep the electricity away from the chakra coils around the heart. The right arm is then extended and the jutsu fired back at its original user with twice the power in the technique. While useful, this technique has many potentially fatal drawbacks. For one, the user must be grounded in some way shape of form during this jutsu's use. Should they be removed from the earth, the electricity will simply disperse within their body and electrocute them. Second, they must be stationary as the jutsu requires too much concentration to be performed while moving. Thirdly, the captured electricity must be released quickly as it will shock the user should it not be. Fourth and most importantly, the user MUST guide it away from the heart. Many inexperienced users of this technique have fallen due to their carelessness, their hearts literally fried within their chests. It is for that reason only that this technique is only used by experienced ninja.

With this Riku can electrically stimulate her body entire nervous system and speed up their neural synapses to react faster to danger and push her physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing her to gain tremendous raw speed and power. While using this technique, Riku's reflexes and agility are dramatically heightened making it difficult, even for the Sharingan to keep up with her. With this increase, Riku's speed, agility and reaction time all increase by 60%. Along with the incredible speed increase the lightning armour offers a kind of defense and additional bonus. It protects the user from any taijutsu techniques A-rank and below, and due to the surrounding Lighting chakra the armour can absorb all lightning based techniques C-rank and below. Though, wind-based techniques are 25% more effective against the user while the technique is in affect. The technique also has the added bonus of a paralytic/stunning effect on contact with a target. If Riku touches a target while this technique is active then that persons musclular system will seize-up on contact, becoming stiff, unable to move (note that the instant contact is broken the body fuction will revert back to normal) this is due to the foreign surge of raiton chakra running through their system. This technique lasts for 4 posts, but this does have a negative effect on the users body as it is put under immense pressure. The muscles will begin to tear away and the production of lactic acid in the body increases, which can become very painful over time. After using this technique the users base speed and strength is reduced by 15% and they will require medical attention to repair the damage to their muscles.

This jutsu comes with two uses, one being that the user can create a bubble of water, and the second use being that the user can breathe underwater by using the oxygen within the bubble. To utilize this technique, the user will first use his chakra to generate water from the area. Once he has surrounded himself with this water he will expand his chakra forcing the water to create a protective bubble around him, which has the stability to protect the user against most low levelled jutsu depending upon what element the jutsu exploits. This bubble of water is completely hollowed out and can only keep its stability due to the user occasionally feeding his chakra to the water the bubble is made of. The second use of this jutsu is rather easy to use since, the user has formed the bubble. Within the bubble a considerable amount of oxygen is present which the user will use as a way of breathing beneath the water. (This oxygen runs out after three posts if the user is below the water.) This provides him with a way of evading strong attacks when the time comes. The downfall to using this technique underwater is that he moves around slower.

Water is less efficient because of its fluidity, and the target is only held under for one post. They move within the puddle by a Teleportation to another puddle in another area If a user uses the Water Puddle Technique while standing on top of a lake or river or any other water source, he/she can materialize himself/herself back anywhere he/she wants within the area of the water source (maximum range, 1/2 a mile.) That way the user can surprise the enemy from behind or even from below.

This usually tires the opponent out considerably leaving them open for an attack.

One should be careful not to let the shield burst when there are allies nearby as the damage can be extensive.

Description: This suiton technique utilizes the use of the high pressures of water. The user begins the jutsu with a string of hand signs then places their hand upon the ground or a nearby body of water, water will then fire out toward the users opponent at high pressured levels to the point of being capable of ripping skin off a normal shinobi's flesh, these pressures are also affected by intense heats as the specific water being fired out is being heated to hot temperatures similar to those found around volcanic vents. Being hit by this blast directly will not only over boil you, but will also burn your skin off and blast you to the direction the water fired from. There must be a body of water to use this jutsu so in a situation where there aren't below surface waters say in a desert, the ground method would be unusable.

Description: The user will use the jutsu in conjunction with another water style jutsu or on an already existing body of water. This jutsu can be used without handsigns. The jutsu will by using the users chakra imbue their own chakra into the water after a string of handsigns the chakra will cause that water, to at the contact of anything housing moisture to almost instantly dehydrate as the water absorbs that individuals moisture content, the water will quickly remove all water from a beings body if they spend enough time touching it. This only applies to being physically touched so walking over the water avoids it's affects. The user is unaffected by this as it's their own chakra. This also applies for mist and water in vapor states, if the user is a Ice user they can also apply it to ice. The water absorbed adds to the dehydrating waters volume.

Description: This jutsu is performed as the user turns all nearby water in whatever forms into high temperature steam, the steam is capable of causing hallucinations due to increased heat and humidity and can eventually cause one to go unconscious if staying there for too long. The steam will move toward the opponent and will avoid the user to the point of it moving out of the way when the user moves. The water basically becomes hydrophilic to the opponent and hydrophobic to the user. The secondary part of the jutsu involves each individual steam molecule bursting into a blast of water which goes toward the opponent while ignoring the user. This jutsu can be used without handsigns.

Description: Similar to Suirou (Water Prison), the user traps a target inside a spherical prison of water. The jutsu can be maintained as long as the user keeps one hand inside the prison, and the victim is unable to escape once inside. At the same time, however, the user cannot use any other jutsu with his single free hand. This advanced version of Suirou acts as if the person inside was being sent deep underwater: the amount of force pressing against his body increases the longer the jutsu is held. Eventually, his bones will begin to break, one by one, not to mention the immense discomfort. It is a favorite for extracting information from an unwilling target because this technique cannot kill; the effects always stop at the point just before it would cause death.

Description: The user does a string of handsigns summoning a large wave of water which reaches around 10m in height. The water though is imbued with the users chakra and once in contact with something will cause it to almost instantly deteriorate, upon a living creature it will cause accelerated aging to the point where they turn to dust by touching this water. The power and speed of the wave make it incredibly difficult to doge in close quaters, and once the wave has subsided it will vanish, seeping into the ground making an erosive crater in the ground. After using the water the user will be extremely fatigued to the point where any seals or jutsus that may be changing physical appearance will be broken, this doesn't apply to Kekkei Genkai though. The user will also be negatively affected as they will also experience accelerated aging to an additional fifty years being added to their current physical form although this is only temporary, lasting the remainder of the day, after the user gets rest for one whole day they will return to normal gradually losing a decade for each well rested day till returning to normal age.

Rokushiki focuses on 6 main techniques/skills which the style itself evolves around. These six styles are the focus of the technique as a whole, and are usually taught one at a time. The order in which they are taught isn't set in concrete as some shinobi may be suited to other areas of the style and are taught there first, but their is a basic order in which the techniques/skills are taught, ranked by the generally difficulty of the skills.

This allows users to move at speeds which makes them disappear to the common eye, speed unfathomed by most. This is capable due to the strength on the users legs. The user will gain a increase in their base speed per rank i.e D-rank - 10%, C-rank - 20%, B-rank - 30%, A-rank - 40%, S-rank - 50%. This technique is usually combined with the other base techniques of Rokushiki, making Soru the most fundamental of Rokushiki techniques.

Description: This is commonly the six out of six base techniques a user of the Rokushiki will learn. Tekkai is the art of Iron Carapaces. Tekkai hardens the users muscles to the level of iron (in theory the opposite to kami-e), in order to nullify damage taken from attacks. However, it can be broken by strong enough forces, but that depends on the level of attack compared to the users own level of Tekkai. When Tekkai is active, the user is unable to move, with the exception of certain combinations with other Rokushiki techniques. The strength of Tekkai can vary for users with different physical conditions, as a person with a higher level of muscular strength would be able to take stronger forces with their use of Tekkai. Furthermore, despite the increased physical density that one gains when activating this move, one should remember that the user's body is still flesh and blood. Thus, its resistance to other than solid attacks remain pretty much the same, making the user as vulnerable as ever to certain attacks. For example certain elemental chakra and chakra based techniques break through Tekkai. As such, even masters of Tekkai are far from indestructible.

Description: This technique can only be learnt when all of the six base techniques of Rokushiki are mastered. Rokuougan is the art of full mastery of Rokushiki. This technique is the most powerful technique avaliable to Rokushiki users. Rokuougan is the secret and ultimate attack of the Rokushiki style. Those who have absolute mastery of the other six skills can have access to this seventh skill. The user places both his/her fists right in front of the target and launches a devastating shock wave of physical energy and chakra. This technique causes massive internal injuries to the target(s). This technique does no actual external damage to the target(s) which seems quite odd, but, it actually bypasses the exterior of the target(s) and destroys them interally. All muscles, bones, organs, and networks within the target(s) are automatically destroyed, resulting in ultimate death for the target(s) involved. But due to the nature of this technique it is only to be used in dire situations as the technique itself has a draining and damaging affect on the user. As such, this technique can only be used twice per battle, if used more, then the user opens themself to the possibility of death. If a Rokushiki user who hasn't mastered the six skills tries to use this technique then it will result in death to them.

Description: This is a variation of the base skill Rokuougan. This technique is used in the same way as Rokuougan, except now with a larger attack radius and greater attack power. The move is so powerful that the shock wave it sends out literally cuts through the targets body ripping it to shreads. The power and length of this technique is so great that it is known to be able to wipe out mulitple buildings and large structures, turning them into dust. This technique literally disintegrates the target till there is nothing left. But naturally, the drawback from this technique are greater. After the technique is performed the user is unable to use their arms for 5 posts (ends after a single thread also).

History: The history of the Rokushiki style is not widely known, as the style itself isn't very well known. This is because anyone who would normally find out about the technique by either fighting an opponent who uses the technique or hearing it from someone who has survived is irrelivant because, well, know one ever survives from a user of the Rokushiki style in combat. But if by small chance you have witnessed the greatness that is SPS then the word of mouth would set in, as you would feel morally obligated to share the amazing situation of what you had just seen. Also, SPS isn't widely known because users a swarn to secrecy about who they were taught by, and how they learnt the technique to anyone who doesn't already know the style. This is due to the fact that the style is only taught to the best, and if any knowledge of the six techniques were to get out and be taught to unworthy students, then it could result in disasterous effects for the style reputation.

But talking of reputation there is no other taijutsu style in the ninja world that has a reputation like the Rokushiki Style. This style makes the Hyuuga's Gentle Fist Style look like a toddler flailing their arms aimlessly. SPS is the pinical of physical training and taijutsu mastery. Members of this style are known to be the most ultimate taijutsu masters and are feared by all. The origin of this style is unknown and the training of this style isn't based in a single country. Users, even though their are few of them are spread throughout the whole world. Masters of this style are to take on a single worthy student to pass the style on before they die. This keeps the style living, and passes down the uniqueness of each individual master of the Rokushiki to their student. People are chosen by random, and have to prove themselves before being able to be taught, and this is to the masters descression.

Description: The user grasps the opponent's hand and twists backwards, placing pressure on the wrist. While this can inflict pain on its own, it is most often used as a transition hold. This causes the target to become completely immobile and is used for ninja who wield weapons such as swords etc. Another form of wrist lock sometimes known as a figure four wristlock involves the user (after applying the initial wrist lock with the left hand) threading their right arm through the gap the two arms provide, forming a '4', and providing leverage on the wristlock.

Stronger shinobi have the ability to fight through and remain standing but the more chakra placed in the jutsu, the stronger the pull.

The actual appearance of the wall varies and is dependant upon the users intelligence, with greater levels of intelligence making the wall more formidable, ranging from a simple wooden fence at the lowest levels, to solid stone walls bound with strong steel girders with large steel spikes covering it. Any foolhardy or perhaps knowledgeable enough to attempt to force their way through it will either pass through unharmed, or feel as if they did infact strike a solid object (including the great pain one could suffer if striking one of the more formidable walls the user may create). This technique is cancelled once 'kai'd' out of from the target.

The attacker instead of seeing the user dodging, will instead see (and if applicable feel) the attack strike their target with the appropriate effect (blood gushing out for example), and with their eye's drawn to the illusion instead of the real user, the user is afforded a short moment in which they are as good as invisible to their opponent in which they can use to either seek better cover, or even quickly counter-attack. While the technique is quite convincing, repeated use is not advised, as once the opponent is aware of the way to technique works, it is quite possible they may be able to counter it.

If the words are heard, the Genjutsu proceeds, and a hollow ball of chakra forms around the target. By seeing the hand, the target believes that he is in the Water Prison, and cannot move their body, and the hollow ball creates an image of water around the victim. There mind will trick them into thinking that they are truly drowning in this Water Prison and they will suffocate. This technique is cancelled with kai or when the target is dead.

Just gonna throw this out there, but should the opponent move from the radius, they wont be affected by Syphon or Fatigue. But you can recreate the radius again for as little as a C-Rank. Please keep in mind the majority of the ranges listed on Leaf Ninja for jutsus are 0m-10-15m (I believe), so the C-Rank technique itself would encompass the area of most jutsu, provided you were against one sideof it. Seems a little much to me, even for a Kage.

Im hesistant to comment on Syphon and Fatige, because personally I dislike draining moves. However, should the original Shoyuuken have a cool down length between being able to utilize it (Say you created one dome, and the opponent jumped out of the way after realizing its effects after one post. This way you cant immediately put another dome around them at minimal chakra cost, but instead need to wait another post), that would end up making it, in my eyes, more balanced.


Accelerated Erosion: Seems in my eyes that the drawbacks are balanced for a technique this size, but the techniques description is a bit too much. How big is a large wave? Does the water remain on the ground after the technique is used, making it much hader to fight?

My main question is this: If an oppnent gets hit by the attack, are they pretty much ensured an accelerated aging to dust? Or is there some counter?

Raijin's Tuxedo: I would feel immensly better if a technique such as this had a post duration. A-Rank Taijutsu doesnt work, and absorbs C-Rank lightning, while allowing speed and reflex increases by 2 1/2x?

My first comment is to say to take out the comment about converting lightning jutsu C-Rank and lower to energy. Absorbing sure, why not, but conversion als is too much in my eyes.

Secondly, Id prefer a post duration instead of a generalized time, and a chakra usage per post. This way, though I doubt youd do this, you are prevented from using this technique at the start of a fight, and having it last the entire battle.

Indeed. Seeing as it is made up of condensed lightning chakra is has the same piercing ability of that of a bullet. It is meant for close range combat, which would mean that it could pierce a human body quite easily.

If the opponent moves out of the area of the Shoyuuken then yes the effects will be negated, it only works within the area of the shoyuuken. The ranges are fine in my opinion because the lose of chakra would be equal to the benefits of the technique. Remember that the area of shoyuuken is visible to the opponent would have no trouble of noticing the area in which is encompasses. If the opponent moves out of the area and another shoyuuken needs to be reformed all jutsu that were in the effect of the old shoyuuken aura are cancelled. This mean that all of the techniques would have to be cast again like Syphon or Fatigue. That is another A-ranks worth of chakra for each, plus the C-ranks worth just to recast the Shoyuuken.
Note: Do you want me to make the bolded area more clear in the description of the shoyuuken?

Yes, it is a S-rank technique which in my eyes are the meant to be very powerful btu also have major drawbacks as well, they are a kind of 'trump card'/'instant kill' technique. Well seeing as water is weak against earth on the elemental affinity chart then a earth technique of equal rank would be effective in stopping or dulling down this technique.
