Being a Yamanaka, Hideki has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a lean physique. His shoulders and arms lack the proper definition and muscularity of an average teenage boy. Therefore, his strength is below average. What he lacks in strength, he makes up for in flexibility, mainly accomplished through certain exercises. While not quite extraordinary, he is still limber and is less likely to pull something while physically exerting himself.

His expression is very lethargic and unchanging, but it does not mean it constitutes his disposition. Often times, his face will contradict his mood, smiling while still having an unenthusiastic face.

He tries keeps his hair short, but it grows at such a fast pace that his bangs occasionally cover his eyes and the back touches the collar of his shirt. He is short for his age, standing at approximately 5’4”.

Additionally, his facial structure is very smooth. The bluntness of his chin, his near non-existent cheekbones, and the soft curve of the jaw suggest he is younger than her looks.

Fresh from a private ninja academy, Hideki sports a full suit complete with a white collared shirt, a jacket, pin-stripe pants, a leather belt, and even a green tie. Though he does not necessarily need it, he still wears it because it gives him a sense of sophistication above other people. Being nearsighted, he wears a pair of yellow wire-brimmed glasses. Without them, he can only see five feet in front of his face.

Some people would describe Hideki as two-faced. To a complete stranger, he could be the nicest, well mannered person they would ever meet. No matter who he sees, Hideki will smile and give a warm greeting. If someone is in need of help, he is always willing to give a helping hand. When given a task, whether personal or humanitarian, he will stick with it to the very end because he understands the weight of responsibility and the ramifications that would follow should he fail. He never forgets his manners, for his private teachings have molded him in such a way, and, moreover, he is very honest and open. Overall, he is often very well-favored.

Some people, however, know the true side of Hideki. Growing up with a family that feared him and taught in an expensive private school, he has a very wrapped sense of reality. He is incredibly stubborn and is thoroughly convinced he is always right to the point where he is no longer aware of his detachment from reality. One would find more ease housetraining a lion than persuading Hideki. Often times when he hears someone say something that contradicts his ideology, he assumes it is a joke and just smiles. If the argument is taken further, he will blatantly state that the opponent's argument is wrong and cite the reasons why. Therefore, his friendliness is more an obligation he must fulfill than an ingenuous emotion, seeing that interacting with other people means that he has to listen to other people's opinions. When with others, he keeps a calm disposition, rarely expressing excitement or anger. Nonetheless, he will give people a helping hand but only to prove his worth to them and display his skills. Because of this, he is most likely to usurp any title of leadership. Furthermore, he does not consider himself rude but honest. He believes that if people cannot swallow his opinion, which he often refers to as the truth, then it is their problem. Because of these defects, he has little friends. The most he has are acquaintances and allies, and he has no qualms with that.

Being a genjutsu user, he is primarily a ranged attacker. His main strategy is to cast a genjutsu upon his opponent at the very beginning of the battle and then hid out of sight using an earth ninjutsu. While the opponent is caught in the illusion, Hideki will use a lightning ninjutsu to either harm or stun his opponent. While the opponent is stunned, Hideki will use one of his weapons to cause further harm to or finish the opponent.

Lacking physical strength, Hideki does not favor close combat. If he were to end up within range of another ninjas fist, he will attempt to dodge each attack or utilize a distraction, such as a genjutsu, until he can move out of range. If the opponent has a weapon, he will attempt to disarm the opponent while in range and possibly take it for himself.

Moreover, Hideki knows no restraint. If challenged to a battle, he is not afraid to severely harm his opponent, no matter who he faces. Likewise, he is willing to fight to the death if the battle were to escalate to that level. His rationale for this is that he should not be afraid to prove his strength and courage no matter what.

If innocents are in danger during a battle, he will attempt to save them, even if it means sacrificing himself to ensure their safety. Though a noble act, his motivations are less so. He is not afraid to sacrifice himself for others because he would be seen as a martyr and a hero.

Infancy:
Hideki was born to a poor branch of the Yamanaka family in Konohagakure. His mother, Yuki, and father, Isamu, were non-ninjas.

Early Childhood:
Early in his childhood, Hideki dreamed of becoming a ninja after seeing them in the streets of his neighborhood. He would watch them train and spar for hours upon hours. Eventually, he tried to mimic their techniques, much to no avail. Many times he refused to interact with his parents and people his age so he could watch the ninjas practice.
At the age of two, he learned how to read. At the age of six, he was reading literature for children twice his age. One day, he stumbled upon a scroll inside his parent’s room. The scroll was an instructional guide to perform the Mind Transfer Jutsu, a Yamanaka family jutsu. After studying it for two weeks, he finally performed it on the family cat, Ichiro. As he performed the jutsu, his parents entered the room. They were shocked to find out their son had the potential abilities of a ninja. They tried to send him to an academy to hone his skills, but the nearest one was several cities away. There was one private academy, the Academy of the Young and Gifted, but it was far too expensive.
Hideki refused to be denied acceptance because of financial issues. Therefore, he resulted to theft. Using his Mind Transfer Jutsu, he would occupy the minds of strangers and make them bring the money they had on them to the Yamanaka residence. Eventually, Hideki acquired enough money to be enrolled into the academy. Sure enough, his parents realized what Hideki was doing. Fearing he would use his jutsu on them, he was enrolled into the Academy of the Young and Gifted.

Adolescence:
From age six to twelve, Hideki lived the life of luxury. He ate food worthy of kings daily, slept in a queen-sized bed every night, and had full access to a library of knowledge. In addition, he was fulfilling his dream of becoming a ninja. While at the Academy, he learned he had a natural talent for genjutsu, but he was so caught up in his studies and aspirations that he became a recluse, hiding away inside his dorm room and refusing to interact with any of his classmates. He never wrote back to his parents nor participated in extracurricular activities. All he would do was read and practice.
By age nine, Hideki and his family ran out of funds to pay for schooling. The sensei of the Academy threatened to expel him if he did not surmise the funds. Hideki could not, but he did not plan to leave any time soon. The sensei believed he signed an expulsion form when he was actually under Hideki’s Narakumi no Jutsu. The sensei, in fact, did not sign his expulsion form, thus allowing him to continue his schooling.
By age 12, he had graduated from the Academy, and he became an official genin. He reluctantly returned to his home in
Konohagakure.
Longing for the comfortable life he had before, Hideki always tried to find an excuse to leave the house. Moreover, he could not adjust to socialization. Though initially likeable and charismatic, many of his peers made fun of his glasses and his suit. Most of the time he took the abuse and made fun of his bullies’ shortcomings. Occasionally, Hideki would use a nasty genjutsu on them if things became violent. The abuse caused him to become detached from society even more and trust people less. He still resides in Konohgakure with his family, who fear his ninja abilities more and more with each passing day.

It was finally lunchtime at the Academy. When the bell rung, all the students, clad in a suit and tie, swarmed through the cafeteria doors like bees to a hive. Their eyes were wide with delight, and their mouths were watering profusely.
One kid was the caboose of this mad lunch train. Hideki Yamanaka was alone in the classroom. He continued to read his book at his desk, his eyes bouncing across each word on the page. He had much better things to do than eat, and he would have sat at his desk for the entire period if it were not for his sensei kicking him out of the classroom. Hideki gave a sigh, closed his book, and ambled down the hallway with a blank look of apathy on his face.
Hideki got his lunch and shuffled about the cafeteria, scanning for a seat. Every single one was filled with isolated cliques, many of who gave Hideki the hairy eyeball. Hideki played into their little game by smiling and waving.
Eventually, he did see an empty seat at a table packed with girls. It was an empty seat, and he needed one. He thought nothing more of it. As soon as he took the first steps toward it, one of the girls locked eyes with him, and a ripple effect ensued. Another girl looked at Hideki, then another and another. Within no time at all, the entire table was staring at Hideki with a look of disgust. The intruder sat down on the seat, and smiled. There was a silence. Hideki looked at them, and they all stared at Hideki. He then raised his hand, waved it, said, “Hi. I’m Hideki. Pleased to meet you all,” and proceeded to eat his salmon roll.
“What are you doing?” the blonde one asked.
Hideki lifted his head. “Eating, of course.”
“No, like what are you doing here?”
Hideki leaned in closer and enunciated his words, “EA-TING.” She tried to speak again, but Hideki interrupted her. “Look, I want to eat, you want to talk to your friends. I think if we don’t mind each other’s business, we’ll get along just fine. Sound good?” She looked at him with her jaw open. “Good. Glad you agree.”
Hideki deftly ate his lunch as a king would dine with his royal guests. Unfortunately, it was salmon and California rolls today, which he abhorred. His eyes bolted over to the girl next to him, who had blue eyes and purple hair. He eyed her plate. On it were spicy tuna rolls.
How did I miss those? He thought to himself. I’m stuck with this crap when I could have something spicy. He leaned toward the blue-eyed girl. “Excuse me,” he said, “could I have some of your spicy tuna roll?”
She grimaced, “No. Get away, creep.”
“Oh, come on now. Maybe we can make a deal?”
“As if.” She rolled her eyes.
“How about the answers to Mr. Hideyoshi’s exam?”
The girls turned pale. They stopped what they were doing all at once and turned their heads toward Hideki. The blue-eyed girl replied, “What?”
“Yeah, the exam answers.”
“How do you know them?”
He scoffed. “Please. Mr. Hideyoshi’s so predictable. He usually ends up making the answers ABCDABCD or something like that. Something that’s easy to grade. You never noticed that?”
All the girls looked dumbfounded.
“Well, if he does something different, I’ll just peer into his mind and see what he’s up too,” he said nonchalantly. All the girls were transfixed on this strange boy that they have never met. He said everything so matter-of-factly and with such confidence. It was like he knew everything. Hideki saw as all the girls stared at him and took pride in his accomplishment. He turned to the blue-eyed girl and said, “So could I have those rolls please?”
The girl snapped back to reality and stuttered out a sentence. “Y-yes. Yes. I don’t like them anyway.” She took her entire plate and plopped it right in front of Hideki.
He turned to the girl and smiled. “Thanks.”
She blushed.
All too easy, he thought to himself.
Just then, he felt immense pressure on his left shoulder. He felt like he was caught in a vice grip, but he did not flinch. He turned to see Yoshirou, a hulk of a student, gripping him with a look of pure fury on his face.
Hideki smiled. “Oh hey, Yoshirou. How’ve you been?”
“What are you doing with my girlfriend?” he growled.
The blue-eyed girl looked up fearfully. “He wasn’t doing anything. Don’t hurt him, please.”
“Yeah,” Hideki said calmly, “I sincerely wasn’t doing anything.”
Yoshirou grabbed Hideki by the collar, lifting him off the ground. “Shut up! I saw you make the moves on her. I swear I’m gonna…”
“Make the moves on her?” Hideki gave a hearty laugh. “Really? Evidently, you weren’t watching what was going on.”
“I saw what I saw. You were trying to sweet talk her.”
“You cannot be this stupid,” he said under his breath with a smile. All the girls gasped. Yoshirou face reddened and tensed. He threw Hideki down to the floor.
“What did you say?”
Hideki stood up and brushed off his uniform. “You know very well what I said. And could you not ruin my suit please? I don’t want to wash it more than I have to.” He put his hands behind his back.
Yoshirou cracked his knuckles. “That’s it. I’ve had enough of you, twerp. You keep acting calm and cool, and it’s beginning to annoy me. I’m going to beat you to a pulp.”
“Yoshirou, don’t!”
“You should probably listen to your girlfriend,” Hideki retorted.
Yoshirou shouted and reeled his fist back. Suddenly, he was surrounded by a flurry of leaves. They all danced around him, obscuring his view. He stumbled backwards and covered his eyes. When the leaves cleared, he saw Hideki standing in front of him, frightened.
“C-crap!” Hideki backed away. “My jutsu didn’t work.”
“You tried to use a jutsu on me? Oh, now you’re going to get it.” Yoshirou gunned toward Hideki. The blonde boy tried to run, but it was too late. The hulking student tackled Hideki and brought him to the ground. Yoshirou now sat on top of his chest. Hideki struggled but to no avail. Yoshirou swung his fist, and it collided with Hideki’s cheek. The boy cried out in pain. Yoshirou swung again and again and again. His barrage was unrelenting.
However, no one else in the cafeteria saw this. Instead, they watched as Yoshirou sat on the floor, hammering his fists at empty air. The girls just stared in awe. The blue-eyed girl looked at Hideki, who smiled devilishly. She looked behind his back and saw his hands clenched together in the serpent hand seal. Hideki watched the pitiful sight before him and snickered. He then turned to the ladies and bowed. “It was a pleasure eating with you all. I think I’ll go now.” He broke the seal and waved goodbye. As he walked away, he heard Yoshirou, now no longer under the genjutsu, stutter and bumble behind him.

Description: Mind Transfer Jutsu is a technique used by the members of the Yamanaka clan. This technique allows the user to enter the mind of another person or even an animal. The user transfers their consciousness to the opponent, giving them complete control of the body for the duration. Their original body is left defenseless while this jutsu is active, leaving it susceptible to attack until they return. The mind transfer is quick but moves in a straight direction, and takes a few seconds to return to the user's body if it misses. Should any physical injury befall the victim's body while the mind-link is active, it would cause the user's body to also receive those same injuries. For example, should the victim's arm be detached, the user's arm would be detached as well, leading to the conclusion that, should the victim die, the user would also die. This can be rectified if user cancels the jutsu before the victim's body receives the damage. This technique can be used on both characters, and NPC.

The user throws three exploding kunai from their hand towards a target, and with their other hand forms a seal which paralyzes the enemy in the kunai's mid flight. The target may only be paralyzed if they were standing still during the formation of the seal. The enemy is unable to move for a few seconds and by that time the three kunai would detonate, destroying the target in a massive explosion. Unfortunately there is a two second relapse between the paralysis wearing off and the tags detonating, providing the target a slim chance of escaping.
