CLAN HISTORY:


Clan History: B.V before villages.
The beginnings of this clan are not very clear but it is assumed that two great sound users became married and wished for their children to learn the ability to control sound. They settled in the area now known as Oto.
For the first few years of the clans beginning the 2nd founder (The male/Husband of the founder) stole to support his family. He stole many artifacts from the Wind country to The Sea country. (Some still located in the compound) With each successful theft the house they lived in grew larger and larger. Eighteen years later the once small house they lived in had grown into a large compound. The Founder had eight children at this time and three of them had the bloodline trait.

The 2nd founder started to take the three on missions with him to steal from other countries. While on missions he taught them some of the basic principles they should follow (most of which are now laws to the clan). Over the next ten years some of the children of the founder took wives and husbands of their own. In this generation seven out of sixteen had the bloodline. In this generation the bloodline found other uses other then thievery. Some of the children found battle use for the Bloodline by accidentally blowing a hole in the wall of the compound while training their Taijutsu. The 2nd was impressed by this and actually sought training from his grandchild. Over the next twenty years the clan grew from a medium sized family living together under one roof of a very large compound which was ever growing, to a large family of about fifty living under one roof. The founder decided that she wanted to go on one more mission (even though she was 59 by now) sadly she never returned from that mission. The 2nd was crushed by his loss and went into depression.

The 2nd generation of the Keepers now had to take on the responsibility of supporting the clan. The eldest of the clan decided to establish a code for those who left the compound to steal for the clan or earn money. The eldest of the clan was a woman, and two men. They were the first Council of the keepers. The clan devolved for many years. Then after their power had grown and their numbers were around one hundred and fifty villages started to be founded. The keepers had already established their power so they did not fear the villages, but they did build an underground complex under the complex for those who could not fight to hide if they ever came under attack. The council saw the villages as potential prey, now that people were in even larger groups it would be easier to find and steal artifacts of great worth. This is how tensions between the clan and other villages were formed. The clan keeps stealing objects of power and worth to this day.

When Oto (the village) was established, the clan sought an alliance since it always helped the weak and poor, the clan did not say this but offered their power and skills to protect it. Oto accepted and the large clan merged somewhat with the country and village. The clans non bloodline users either became normal ninja who left to other villages given the choice to go to another village, or stay loyal to Oto, false loyalty is a dangerous thing and that is why the council decided to do this. Surprisingly very few left Oto and the clan maintained its power and now was in all levels of society. Recently since Orochimaru’s death the clan has sent a request to the new Otokage to became her personal guard.

Clan Information:
The Keepers is a clan has been used in many missions and given many important positions. They are in every level of society in Oto from the humble shop keeper to the village or government official. The clan is very fanatical about Oto and would do anything for the good of the village. They would be the kind of people who would go on a suicide mission if it meant the betterment of the village and clan. They would be hunter-ninja, and used in stealing and covert infiltration most of the time.

There are still those who excel in hand to hand combat and guarding Prominent Officials. They are very friendly with the other clans that inhabit Oto and are one of the richest in Oto. They gain their riches through obtaining rare items from enemy countries then selling them on the black market to the highest bidder. The clan is a government within a government and has its own rules as well as following the village’s rules.
