What can my Pet do? How strong is it? Can I have mythical creatures? How big is it? Is it capable of jutsus? Is it sentient? Does it have its own chakra? How many pets can I have? What are the benefits of having a Pet over a summon? Can I have both.

Of Summons, I wanna see some guidelines on Sage Mode and equivalents, since if Naruto does it, other people will want to too. The Admins may have agreed to say no, but it should be freaking clear to the rest of us too ^.^

A pet is a pet. If you want to go for something out of the normal, then go for a summoning. As for the benefits of it, it just serves roleplaying purpose. And of course you can, why not. A pet is a pet, as I already mentioned.

On the other hand, I can have no input about your second point because Sage Mode is out.

Agreed. It would severely unbalance game play. Certain things can work in the Canon that can't in RP. This just happens to be one of them.

Surely Sage Mode would be weaker/equivalent of Jinchuuriki. Just deny people having Clans/Bijuu/Sage Modes/Cursed Seals etc. at the same time, so that non-clan peps have more to do. This way, there is at least a benefit of not having chosen a clan, when most do.

Also, I don't really see why it's not do-able. We haven't tried, so, it seems a little hasty to just outright deny a system. If anything, people should vote on it, and suggestions should be made as to what benefits it would give. In fact, suggestions as to how it would operate in general.

Yes, Flash even wrote up an entire system that was in my opinion quite good, but it wasn't voted through and that was the last time we spoke of Sage Mode I believe.

Well here is a skeleton of a system.

Sage Mode
Known as one of the more prestigious Shinobi Arts, both in terms of the benefits it grants and the effort that is required to gain it, the Sage Mode is a collective term for a physical and mental state, which brings a shinobi closer to nature and chakra. In order to achieve Sage Mode, one must be close with his Summonings, who will pass on their animal ways and perspectives. This grants the individual a new view of the world, as well as helps achieve an inner peace that grants one obvious advantage in battle.

Requirements:
- Must be at least Chuunin in rank
- Must have three separate summonings of the same race
- Must have used a summoning at least five times. This is to achieve loyalty and in turn, be shown the home world of the creatures
- Must perform a topic of at least XXXX words, which details a training that ultimately brings the user closer to nature

Benefits:
- Upon activation, the Sage Mode restores XXX chakra points
- The Sage Mode grants the user an extra Chakra Pool of XXX points
- A Sage can learn one of three Unique Special Characteristics
Sage's Strength: 80% boost
Sage's Speed: 80% boost
Sage's Senses: Sense & recognise chakra signatures in eg 2 km radius. Can interpret Chakra activity in order to guess as to emotions.
- No cost to activate
- Unlocks Sage techniques for the duration of the Mode

Negatives:
- Can't have a Cursed Seal or Bijuu
- Can't be in a Clan
- Can only have Summonings of a single race
- Benefits are only active during Sage Mode
- Sage Mode only lasts 10 turns
- Sage Mode can only be used once per topic

It's a more powerful version of the cursed seal. We're having trouble with the Cursed Seal being approved, this will take even longer. Honestly, at the bottom of our list right now.

Hey just wanted to throw in my personal oppinion to sage mode:

It would suck
- Only Ninjutsu Users can use it
-- Ninjutsu user have some kind of SC that increases their CP most of the time
--- like this they get even more CP AND PHISICAL BOOST
= Jutsu Spamming + OP-ness >>

TOO, it would suck if now every single Clanless guy gets a Sage-Mode..... it's something unique only 3 guys in the serie have attained and those were Jiraja, Naruto and Kabuto....

i think it would be cool to get it done or get the Clanless peps some kind of cool extra technique... but i would prefer cursed seals or just some way which is not as OP as the here stated Sage Mode >> of course we can work out a systen blablabla... just wanted to give my oppinion which is a non-mod one >3>

If it was for Cursed Seal or Sage mode, I would totally go for Sage Mode to be approved. Besides, we can have it weakened a bit, different from the actual Sage Mode.
