Clan Name: Daize
Location: Throughout Kumogakure, Sunagakure, the lands of Grass, Moon, Rice, and River Countries.
Signature Traits:
Daize clan members are average height, usually with skin tones that are lightly tanned or olive. They commonly have brown or black hair, and usually brown, hazel, or auburn eyes as well.

The Thieves Branch of the Daize clan has symbols of Crows, Foxes, Eyeballs, and Waves, this is Not Common information.

History:
The Daize Clan began primarily of a group of friends from their teen years. The friends grew close, and when they became older they bought up a street in their town in River Country and became a family of friends. They all adopted the name Daize and it was a clan whose goals were based on caring for the poor and the family members. It ran much like a commune house, with many families living in a single home but getting by simply because they cared for each other. The Daize rapidly became a large clan as they pretty much take in anyone off the street into their clan as long as they abide by the clan house rules. This means many of the family is unrelated however true Daizan's are among the first group of friends, and they were all from River Country. The clan was never really involved in shinobi affairs ever, some members became ninja but for the most part the clan and ninja academy held no ties. Once the clan expanded out of River Country, many more began to become ninja, especially those residing in major countries.

The Original 10, were ninjas and they formed the Thieves branch within the clan. This branch became a primary means of funding their clan, little known to the members themselves. Most of the clan has been into some problem with authority at least once in their lives however and generally don't have much respect for authority within cities or towns making most guard's avoid their clan houses. The main thing about the Daize clan is that it is immensely large, and the 10 original founders have dropped to 7. The branch within the clan is a secret organization which a large number of members have begun joining lately and while it is a secret, that can only last so long and justice would most likely hammer down onto the Daize clan. The clan realizes this as well, which is why their numbers have been expanding, most children are chosen by their toddler years, this makes it easier to keep out people that they can't really trust out of the branch of the Clan. Characters within the Thieves branch are often renown within the clan, or anyone that spends a good amount of time with the clan. The Clan became born again within Kumogakure as the River Country home began to slow as people migrated to cities, and because of that the clan has become a part of the Kumogakure community and is widely accepted there as a charity organization for the poor. The clan respects the Kumogakuran Government and because of that, never steals from the residents or visitors to Kumogakure.

Clan Jutsu:

Name: Thieves Seal : Activation

Description: Upon initiating into the Thieves branch of the clan, you are begun to be taught the techniques the clan uses. This is the activation technique used by the clan to utilize any other of their techniques, this technique holds the keys to the rest of their power. After forming the needed handsigns, the character's seals in their finger tips activate (Excluding thumb), as well as a large seal that extends from the base of the thumb across the hand to encompass the most meaty part of one's hand. The seals are linked to a reel of woven string (not ninja wire), and painted in locations used to create seals(A seal within a seal), while the larger one is used to deactivate the seals since they cannot form handsigns. These seals are placed there by the clan using white ink in the form of a tattoo on the hands.

Name: Thieves Seal : External Enclosure

Range: Long - 500 Miles

Description: The first seal taught to thieves is an odd one, its widely known as the desperation seal, since the only time you need it normally is in a place of desperation. After activating the thieves seals, they deactivate their middle, ring, and pinky finger's seals by pressing their tips to the meaty part of the hand where the seal is activated. Once that is done, the ninja holds his index fingers near each other while releasing a short strand of the string which draws a straight line using the paint on the string, and the ninja activates this seal. This seal is linked to a room within the Clan headquarters where all their food is stored, the room is set up in rings, so that one wall can have seals on it, while the other can store food and water with the walls narrowly placed together. The seal opens a small window (1ftx1ft) which the ninja can reach through to grab supplies from shelves that are re-stocked daily. It is for the most part dry storage.
Chakra Cost: Directly proportional to the distance, 15 to activate and to reach any distance less then 5 miles from the clan headquarters, add 5 CP per 5 miles over 5 away from the clan headquarters.

Name:Thieves Seal : Aggravated Assailant

Description: The Second seal is the index and ring finger seals, after forming the needed handsigns and activating the seals, the user grabs the strings appearing out of their seals and reels them out and in the same motion forming a Z in the air which summons a pair of brass knuckles from the user's weapon scroll or booklet. These knuckles(**These are the Thieves Branch Knuckles**) are in ideal location then for the user to slide their fingers through them after deactivating their seals.

Name: Thieves Seal : Ignite

Type: Fuuinjutsu
Range: Close - 1 Foot
Element: N/A
Description: The third skill is one not given to all thieves, only the top one during their generation of the "academy." This seal is linked to a large hearth, but only a small portion of the flame is within the flame's seal. To activate this seal, the ninja, after forming the needed handsigns, releases strings from his index, middle, and ring fingers and forms a hourglass symbol, the seal activates a seal on the unique character's hand releasing a small flame maybe half a centimeter off of the players hand, this is limited to a single hand, the flame only extends 10-14 inches from the palm, more often used for a light source then a weapon. However certain characters utilize fire-spitters alcohol could utilize this quite well. Because the flame is so close to the hand, it makes it very hard to maintain the flame for long periods of time and thus the flame can only be active for a maximum length of 3 posts.
Chakra Cost: 10 to Activate, 2 per post.

Name: Thieves Seal : Mirrored Escape

Description: The third skill that is given to all thieves is one used in many cases for a clever escape. After forming the needed handsigns the ninja opens the index, middle and ring finger's seals and create move in a large motion, opening the seal which at first unleashes a bright blast of light, and then places a full-size standing mirror where the seal was. While the target is placed in his daze, the user normally makes his escape and when the target's daze clears all he begins to see at first is himself. The seal closes once the mirror is placed.

Description: The fourth skill is most powerful of the Thieves clan, and is how they often steal items. After completing the needed handsigns, the user activates all four of their fingers tips. This in turn creates a different seal, not summoning string but instead just making their fingers seals emit a small green light. This seal when connected with an item, places it into the ninja's scroll or booklet used to carry weapons.To properly seal an item, the user must make contact with all four fingers on a single hand, the user must be linking it to a scroll/item on their person. However, if the weapon, item, or object has a summoner, i.e. they summoned it from a weapons scroll, or it is linked to a weapons scroll, it is returned to their scroll. This method has become a major defense against the thieves abilities.

Description: The Savatian knuckles are knuckles that can be used to increase the strength behind a taijutsu users open handed strikes, as well as their punches. Consisting of a brass knuckle, connected to a large solid brass ball that the user holds in their hand, making it easy to smash someone's face in. The fingertips of the hand will slightly go over the ball if held in the hand normally, so in most cases the wielder holds them in a claw like manner.

These are the numbers for chakra costs...you're sorta over the threshold for a lot of them. You sure you want to do that?

It's quite possible that I'm misunderstanding the technique, but is there a start-up time after contact is made before the item is sealed or can you graze someone's shirt and seal it?

Yes i'm good on the chakra counts, most of them are transporting over distance so it makes sense that they cost a pretty good amount of chakra.

This was actually my bad, but I added it to the technique. All four finger seals on a single hand must come in contact with the item to seal it, after something is sealed the technique must be re-activated.

This is probably obvious but I need to be sure here. As a hypothetical, if someone were to swing a sword at you and you were to apply all four finger tips to the incoming blade, would the sword simply "poof" away from immediate existence...immediately and all kinetic force dissipated or would you hand still receive the damage from the sword strike before the sword was pocketed away?

Being the primary focus of this jutsu in combat, yes, it would simply "poof" out of the swingers hand, however their kinetic energy would obviously not disappear. Basically, its a sealing of the return jutsu used to store items. As for the user's hand recieving damage, it would all depend on where the placement is on the sword, Obviously a more "inexperienced" ninja might attempt a technique like this and lose a finger, or worse the entire hand, in the process. Not until all fingers are touching does the object disappear however, therefore a user gets a single finger on it in time, the sword is still probably gonna rip into them. While it may not be useful in a manner of close range combat against someone skilled with a sword, it could prove useful against throwing weapons or weapons like polearms or spears where the impact zone is smaller.
