Clan Name: Aruko-ru enro

Location: Iwagakure

Signature Traits:

Genjutsu oblivious: Due to the nature of the inebriated state the users of Yopparai no arashi are in while their clan jutsu are in affect makes any sort of mental attack launched on them less affective due to their already hindered metal state. That's not to say genjutsu is completely useless on them but the user of the genjutsu cannot control what their target senses under the illusion with 100% accuracy. Because of the delirious state the substance in their body puts them in when using their jutsu their mind sees what it wants to see and that any genjutsu used on them will often have a different effect on them than originally intended which is up to the users discretion to make it believable.

Pain resistance: Due to the affects of the substance that circulates within the wielder's of the Yopparai no arashi, It put's the user into a rather powerful state of inebriation numbing any pain just ask if the user were to get wasted regularly. While in this state the user feels pain to a lesser extent although damage can accumulate over the course of the battle hitting the user all at once when the intoxicated state ceases.

(These traits are only active when the jutsu Fuhen Hebereke is in affect)



Kekkei Genkai: Toxin mimicking alcohol: While most people believe the substance the Aruko-ru enro clan members use to be actual alcohol it is actually a toxin that their body produces naturally that circulates throughout them. This or course meaning through sweating, crying and even bleeding all liquids exhumed from their bodies have this potent toxin within them. This being said although it does mimic the affect of too much alcohol intake on both user and enemy it is not flammable but as a liquid it is quite a bit less conductive that water. While the toxin does reside directly in their bodies it's affect are lessened through daily activities such as urinating or sweating. While the toxin in powerful enough while inside the user's body, enough so to put them into a drunken state it becomes more potent when exposed with the air. The weaker techniques used with this toxin can affect opponents through nasal and oral inhalation while the stronger ones are able to be contracted through the skin as well.

History: None know how Aruko-ru enro came about to be perfectly honest. Most people simply speculate that the clan itself is more or less a suiton alteration meaning that all wielders of Yopparai no arashi are suiton users. While this clan's history is not very rich with culture or traditions it did have troubling times first starting out as most people saw the clan as ridiculous and useless for the most part considering many of it's members were often piss drunk a good majority of the time so gaining any sort of respect from from the ninja world was quite an arduous undertaking. That is of course until the nomadic drunkards caught the attention of Iwagakure and it's Kage by terrorizing caravans going to a from Iwa. Every time one of these instances was investigated none of the ninjas guarding the caravans was killed but simply left in a drunken stupor and the air around the area was always thick with the pungent smell of alcohol. It wasn't long before the Kage staged a fake caravan to capture the thieves responsible for the string of heists and what he found was a rather large ground of suiton wielding bandits that had no trouble going toe to toe with even his most elite ninja with their strange fighting style and weird ninjutsu that seemed to be the cause of the intoxication. After the Kage had seen enough he finally intervened and defeated the group rather soundly. Despite the fight they put up the power gap was far to large between them. Despite these intruders thieving ways however the Kage knew a useful talent when he saw one and offered this band of drunken misfits an opportunity to have a place to finally settle down as well as working directly under him.

Opposed to the other option of being imprisoned indefinitely for they're crimes they took up the offer with almost no hesitation. This of course all transpired half a century ago but in that time the Aruko-ru enro clan has gone from a small group of about 15 nomads to a rather sturdy and supportive pillar of strength in Iwagakure due to their growth in both population and skill with their unique brand of ninjutsu.

Clan Jutsu:

Name: Fuhen Hebereke / Everlasting Drunk
Rank: D
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Self
Element: Kg
Effects: This is the very core of the Aruko-ru enro's jutsu arsenal as it keeps them in a constant state of inebriation immediately allowing him to use his entire set of intoxication based jutsu with little to no difficulty. This jutsu last's for 4 posts and cannot be used more than 3 times in a battle.
Cost: 3 (2 per turn)

Name: Sake Kasumi/ Alcohol Mist
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: 20 feet
Element: Kg
Range: 5m-10m
Effects: By supplying a small amount of chakra around their outer layer of skin the user can produce a rather potent sweat of intoxicating fumes from their body creating a large dense mist within a twenty foot radius of themselves turning most people within it into drunken idiots like the users. The mist act's through both nasal and oral intake making anybody who inhales it suffer the effects. (Intoxication lasts 3 posts)(Lasts 3 posts)

Name: Margarita Bomu/ Margarita Bomb

Type: Ninjutsu

Effects: By concentrating chakra in their skin the user is able to create the alcoholic toxin at an alarming rate in the form of their sweat. Once a sufficient amount has been created it begins to gather into the wielder's hand and takes on the shape of a ball about the size of a baseball. However don't let the size of this jutsu fool you as the ball of toxin is actually condensed to that size to insure a more powerful effect once it goes off. Of course this jutsu doesn't stop there. Being so small in size it can easily be manipulated by the user making them able to control it's trajectory rather precisely by means of a small strand of the same material of which it's made which cannot move farther than 15 feet away from it's user without detonating prematurely. Once detonated the ball releases a rather dense blast of extremely potent intoxicating mist into a rather large area of about 15 feet around it. Unlike Sake Kasumi however this mist can be absorbed through the victims skin as well. Intoxication lasts 4 posts.
Cost: 10 + 1 each post it's not detonated.

Name: Uisuki Nami / Whiskey wall
Rank: B
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: 0m-5m
Element: Kg
Effects: This is the only defensive move in the Aruko-ru enro's arsenal which become rather apparent the first time somebody makes an attack on them with this jutsu active. After making the correct hand signs the clan member spews a rather copious amount of their powerful alcoholic byproduct into the air that all gathers into a giant globe of dark hazel liquid about 4 feet in diameter that slowly descends into the user's waiting hands. As long as the user maintains physical contact with the liquid and is able to keep a chakra flow in it they can control the fluid withing a four foot distance around them. This jutsu can only be broken by energy based jutsu as physical attacks merely displace the liquid as it passes through albeit at a slowed rate of travel. This jutsu can be canceled out by a single higher ranked or same ranked energy based jutsu or two of a lower rank. This jutsu lasts for 4 posts.

Name: Uxokka Bakuha/ Vodka Blast
Rank: A
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: 0m-5m
Element: Kg
Effects: By focusing a large amount of chakra to their outer layer of skin as well as the inner the wielder begins to sweat the Intoxicating liquid quite profusely. Once the liquid leaves their skin pores it turns into an extremely potent vapor than begins to swirl around the wielder's body at a rapid speed. Once the jutsu is complete the wielder rushes the opponent making a series of graceful arm movements swirling the vapor about building up it's speed until at last they releases it in a gigantic blast of alcoholic vapor hitting it's victim point blank not only instantly intoxicating them but hitting them with extreme force sending them flying away upon impact.

Name: Hebereke Keihatsu /Drunken Elightenment
Rank: S
Type: Ninjutsu
Range: Self
Element: Kg
Effects: By calling forth and enormous amount of chakra to the clan member's very alcoholic core they are able to reach a state of inebriated perfection so to speak. The user enters a state of drunken awareness far surpassing normal human limits allowing an extreme boost in reaction time as well as two times boost to speed and power. Once this jutsu come to an end after 3 posts however the user loses his ability to use any of his Kekkei Genkai Abilities the rest of the fight as well as receiving any of the damage he incurred while Drunk and coming under the effects of extreme fatigue by draining themselves of their Kekkei Genkai.

How long does it take for someone to become intoxicated?

9 CP for a ball that you have unlimited control over(I'm assuming that's what you meant by indefinite) is considerably too low, since from what I see here little things like inertia and newton's laws of physics don't seem to apply to your control over the ball. There's also no actual time limit to how long the ball can be in motion, so you can change its trajectory to "slighly up" and keep it in motion forever until you hit a target with it. That's a problem.

You are two under the minimum for a B-rank cost here. You can sort of almost kinda not really get away with it on the previous one but being able to completely negate any kinetic based attacks of B-rank or lower(which...doesn't make logical sense anyway as a kinetic attack displacing the fluid would go right through it and hit you in the face, but we'll ignore the semantics for the time being) is waaaaaaaay too strong and you're gonna need to A.) Up the cost and B.) make it possible for same-rank Kinetic attacks to break through the barrier, either through repeated hits or some other condition.

1. The effects are immediate

2. While I do agree the cost is too low please let's not get into an argument inertia and newton's laws of physics on a naruto site unless you plan to explain how one keeps a wooden puppet afloat with nothing but a piece of string. That being said I applied the same principle to the jutsu to make it more "Believable"?

3. For one, nowhere does this jutsu state that in cancels out or completely blocks kinetic attacks and thought that it went w/o saying they could pass through but apparently not. Secondly I'm not upping it a rank for being a defensive jutsu that can defend up to one other jutsu of it's own rank before breaking as that seems a tad ridiculous.

4. Before receiving any sort of criticism for Hebereke Keihatsu I'd like to call attention to this little gem

Keep in mind while this jutsu is a rank below mine it also seems to have no downsides and actually bolsters the user's stats by quite a bit more than mine as well. I'm more than happy to increase the cost to using said jutsu but if a technique like that is allowed plot character or not I don't really see the problem with mine.

There was no argument or even a statement that it was a problem that the laws of physics don't apply to it, but if the ball itself changes direction at the speed of thought, that makes it almost impossible to avoid. Which is in and of itself a problem, especially since you had it at under the cost of a normal B-rank. In addition, your comparison to a puppet is flawed. While a puppet can be kept afloat with chakra, it doesn't have complete and utter control of its movements either to the point where it can change the trajectory of an attack with only a thought. If a puppet swings its arm at something, the arm is still subject to momentum and inertia and the puppeteer cannot suddenly turn a vertical swipe in to a horizontal one. That is the problem here. The technique is unavoidable without some suitable amount of lag time between shifts in trajectory being noted. Please include one.

I am not sure who approved the technique you cited or where it is even found, but Adam and Darius were quite clear in the conversation I had with them about where the line is drawn with percentile increases. I will be personally looking in to the technique you cited and taking the appropriate action from there once it is found, if you'd be so kind as to link me to where you found that, it would be appreciated, but it does not have any bearing on your technique.

Please increase the cost to 38

There's a quite large difference between a solid puppet and a small ball of liquid so in terms of control I think it's completely plausible considering how quickly puppets can move despite their size. I can shorten it's range of movement but in terms of it's maneuverability I'd like to insist that it would be as easy to move about as a tiny puppet at the very least :3.

The jutsu is used in this topic. I'm not trying to narc on Fox or anything but simply trying to make a comparison to something I thought was far more Op

That's illuminating to say the least.

On to the ball, if you're familiar with the Spirit Ball Yamcha uses in DBZ, that's the most control of its movements I'd be willing to give you. Also in my example I was referring simply to a puppet's arm, not the entirety of the puppet and considering they have equivalent masses, they're rather comparable.
