- Appearance:
Mugen stands exactly 5'5" in height which displays an athletic yet slim physic, weighing in at around one hundred and twenty pounds. His complexion is blemish free in nature, which is cast upon tanned skin tone, with dark brown eyes. Mugen has messy brown-black hair which is styled in an Afro-like fashion, which feathers outward from the bottom, while he displays a faint mustache or beard due to his young age. His clothing is anachronistic as well, reminiscent of baggy hip-hop fashions of today. Mugen's common attire consists of a common white shirt, with a stitch pattern running down the middle of the shirt, finally ending at the halfway point of the shirt. He wears this under a red long-sleeve Gi that functions as a jacket, which displays the Kanji symbol for "Freedom" in white writing upon his back. He wears a dark gray Hakama cut off at shorts-length, resembling loose-fitting Bermuda shorts and Japanese Geta on his feet. These Geta have been reinforced with metal plating on the soles in order to block incoming blades, which helps greatly when using his fighting style of Capoeira. The Geta are also secured to Mugen's feet using a high quality rope material, that casts a beautiful red and white braided color to match his Gi. He has six special blue sealing ring tattoos, two on each wrist and two just above the ankles, which he received during his time in Kusagakure's prisons. Mugen also sports dual green bead earrings, and a weapons pouch located on his lower back, underneath his Gi. Lastly, he carries his prized sword on his back with a sash that goes from his right shoulder to his left hip, that has a zig-zag pattern of green and brown. All these wears make for a comfortable, yet stylish, apparel that Mugen uses on a daily basis as he treads the path of the Shinobi.
Forehead Protector: Not particularly proud of being labeled as a shinobi for Konoha, Mugen reluctantly embedded the forehead protector plate into the green and brown sash that secures his Death Spinner to his back.
- Personality:
As some would say, there are two sides to every coin. People might put up a forward appearance or demeanor from which to distract and deter others from getting close to them emotionally. This could not be any more prevalent in the way in which to describe Mugen as a whole. Orphaned at a young age, Mugen did what he had to do in order to survive the cold harsh reality of the world around him. This in turn making him cold and calloused when trying to develop relationships with others, though not impossible, he would need to spend an excessive amount of time with them for any form of trust to actuality take place. Though even after gaining said trust, Mugen would never admit his attachment to those individuals, always preferring his actions to speak louder than any words he might say.
The demeanor Mugen displays is that of a very Ill-mannered individual, which make others quickly take offense if his true nature is unknown to them. Rude, lewd, vulgar, and nihilistic are all terms to describe this childish display of a personality, though if looked deeper inwards a much different personality is shown. Inside lies the heart of a innocent child, who was forced to grow up way beyond his years, due to the cruelties that exist in the world. The true nature of Mugen is a highly noble and honorable man, who's loyalty towards his friends is unbreakable, even in the face of death. Mugen holds a high respect for others willing to lay down their lives in service of their own views and dreams, though his praise is limited and often followed by the use of his sword. All in all, all these traits compiled together form the basic structure of what makes Mizuno, Mugen who he is as a whole. What changes his personality will suffer in the future is uncertain, but what is always vibrant and clear is his determination to become stronger than he ever has before, and only fate will be the judge, jury, or executioner of such ambitions.

THE NINJA. Origin: Kusa no Kuni Affiliation: Konohagakure no Sato Rank: Genin (C) Specialties: Taijutsu | Weaponry (Main: Close, Sub: Long) Elemental Affinities: Raiton (Lightning) | Fuuton (Wind) Combat Style: As many could probably guess from his personality alone, Mugen is about as straightforward and subtle as a gun. Being a Taijutsu and Weaponry user, Mugen is fearless when it comes to a battle or skirmishes and prefers to dive right into the thick of things, without ever thinking twice about his actions. Although this may seem irresponsible of him, Mugen prides himself on his ability to adapt and overcome almost any situation he is put under, regardless of how others might choose to read it. This is of course achievable through the use of his prominent abilities in the martial arts of Capoiera, as well as Iaitō. By using these styles in combination with each other, Mugen is able to dazzle and confuse his enemies with a display of sheer athleticism and power before they ever have a chance to react quickly enough. While he may be bullheaded at times Mugen is certainly no fool, and will stop and reflect upon a situation before acting if the situation demands it. Being a loner for the majority of his life, Mugen has never worked well with others and considers them a burden upon everyone for the most part. Although so long as they can hold their own in a fight, Mugen is more than willing to put them to the test and see what they are capable of.

THE BACKGROUND.- Birth of a Vagabond:
Mugen Mizuno was born into the world on March 17th, without ever knowing the comfort of his mother and father's faces. Abandoned since birth, Mugen was forced to grow up in the squallier of an orphanage located in the Land of Grass. Abused and neglected from day one, Mugen sought nothing more than to be free of his imprisonment within that sad little "home", and so at the age of five decided to flee to the village of Kusagakure. Bound to forge his own path in the world, Mugen did what he had to in order to survive the cold harsh tragedies that the world had in store. Quickly honing his skills in the way of a thief, he developed somewhat of a reputation with the people of the village, who grew to hate and despise him for being what he was. This in turn made Mugen very callused and devoid of human attachment, for how could they ever understand what he was going through in their perfect little worlds. It was during this time that he came in to possession of various scrolls containing the teachings of the martial arts style known as Copoeira, from which he conditioned his body everyday, self teaching himself in the style's disciplines. Continuing his training for several years more, Mugen slowly began to pick up on other technique utilized by the shinobi of Kusagakure, and even acquired a variety of shinobi gear in the process.
- The Band of Seven's Offer:
By the age of ten Mugen had grown into a formidable thief, capable of not only surviving on the street, but also holding his own in a fight or engagement. It was during this time that a mercenary group of shinobi emerged from within Kusagakure, known to all as The Band of Seven. These mercenaries arrived around one year prior, and since then had preyed upon the weaknesses of the village's economic standings as a way to extort and terrorize the people from within. One day the group performed a raid on a local town near Kusagakure in which Mugen just so happened to be visiting in order to map out his hunting grounds. Whether it was fate or destiny was still uncertain, but what was clear was the situation that was thrust upon him at the time. Before Mugen had a clue of what was going on, a member of the the organization made an attempt to take his life while in the heat of the moment during the raid. Acting on his natural will to survive, as well as his self training in the martial arts, Mugen managed to kill the member through the use of his Capoeira and various shinobi gear. The ground soaked with the blood of the enemy, Mugen stood victorious, although he was quickly surrounded by the other members of the group. Certain of his own demise at that point, all that was left to do was count the few precious seconds he had to live, as they all gazed upon the incident that had occurred.
Much to Mugen's surprise, their response to the situation was much less hostile than he had previously anticipated, meeting an assortment of laughter and grins as one of their own laid dead at his feet. For a moment, he could not wrap his head around what was happening, until a man by the name of Jin stepped forth and approached Mugen. Jin appeared to be the leader of the mercenary group, who congratulated Mugen on his kill, while at the same time extending an ultimatum offer to the young boy. Jin proposed the offer for Mugen to become a member of the Band of Seven to celebrate his newest accomplishment, though this in turn came as a double edge sword. If Mugen refused, he would be killed on sheer principle by the Band of Seven, ironically making the choice an easy decision for the young boy. Having agreed to be a part of their group, they made short work of gathering what they needed from the town before silently departing back to their headquarters back in Kusagakure.
- Mugen's Betrayal:
Now officially the youngest member of the Band of Seven, Mugen quickly picked up on the inner workings of the group as a whole, strengths and weaknesses alike. He started off small, acting as an errand boy for the group, collecting overdue debts, meeting contacts, and acting as back up while undergoing deals was all part of his job description. As the years increase, so too did his his skills and duties towards the group as a whole. He was given more freedoms, as well as direct control over some sectors of the village and how they where run and organized. Though the group acted like terrorists, Mugen could not help be feel a sense of satisfaction with the power he held over the people that had always hated and despised him, which in turn made the entire experience worthwhile. Mugen also received various training in the way of the shinobi by the group's leader Jin, who had taken the boy under his wing and treated him as a younger brother. This training also included the famous Iaitō style, from which Jin had mastered from his previous sensei, before violently betraying him. Though this training made him an invaluable assent to the Band of Seven, they used him like a common thug to seek out their victims one by one. Though Mugen enjoyed the riches and power the group brought for him, he could not rest with the looming fact that he was nothing more than a puppet in the grand scheme of things. It was at that time the he plotted his betrayal of the Band of Seven, though it would not be in his nature to leave them without a going away present.
Now at the ripe age of fifteen, Mugen had all he could stomach with the travesties that had come about during those days. On the night of his escape, Mugen set the headquarters of the Band of Seven ablaze, before silently slipping away under the cover of darkness, never looking back on his humbled beginnings. Now officially a wanderer, he anticipated that it would only be a matter of time before the group found out of his betrayal, with their retribution following quickly behind. For several months Mugen found himself traveling from place to place, honing his skills as not only a thief, but as a shinobi as well. During his stay in Bear Country, he had learned of a mighty village by the name of Konohagakure no Sato, after eavesdropping on a conversation between two merchants. Figuring there was no better place to hide from his less than friendly pursuers from the Band of Seven, Mugen packed up what little he owned and made his way across the lands to the heavily forested area. It was hard to believe that such an place even existed, considering his somewhat isolated and tragic outlook upon the world, though like always he would learn to adapt and survive. Finally reaching the gates of Konohagakure, Mugen could not wait to see what scores laid ahead of him, but so long as he had money in his pocket and a blade at his side, he felt unstoppable for whatever fate had in store for him.
- Roleplay Sample:
Another bright and vibrant day had cast itself over the lands of Konohagakure, as Mugen continued his glaring into the bright blue sky above. Not a single cloud dared to wield its face, while the moon was still visible in the sky from the night prior. There Mugen laid on the semi-damp, moss covered boulder in the center of the clearing of the Southern Forest. The forest itself was filled with excessively large trees which tipped upwards towards the heavens themselves, the likes of which Mugen had never seen before. Maybe it was due the plentiful amount of sunlight, though regardless Mugen couldn't care either way, for he only cared about one person and that was himself. His only reason for being in Konohagakure was to hide out and use the village as a shield from some less than friendly characters from the Band of Seven. Offering his services towards the village seemed to be the best method for protection at the time, but this was only a temporary option. If he ever wanted to be free to live his life once again, he would need be stronger than he ever was before. As such, there he lounged in the clearing of the Southern Forest from which he claimed as his training grounds.
Breaking his gaze from the skies overhead, Mugen shifted his sight from side to side as a way of surveying the clearing around him. The clearing spanned about about 100 meters in diameter, filled with a variety of tall grass, small bushes, and boulders scattered throughout the area. Taking a deep sigh, Mugen finally began to speak from in an annoyed tone to himself "Aww man, why do have to train on a nice day like this. Those damn weakling couldn't even beat me if they tried." The thoughts of all the members from the Band of Seven quickly began to flood throughout his mind, as he shuttered from the thought of Jin's power, the man who taught him everything he knew. Jin was the only man that Mugen had ever feared, and held a vicious method of dealing with any problems that presented themselves before him. Remembering back, his eyes where colder than his own and Mugen knew first hand just how cold Jin's retribution could be. Knowing all too well that Mugen was on his shit list, he had to do everything in his power to prevent such events from becoming a reality. Sitting up in a proper sitting position on the boulder, with his back strait and his legs crossed in between each other. Taking another deep breath in and out, Mugen then began to meditate of the new Taijutsu and Fuuinjutsu techniques that he had been developing for quite some time. THE ARSENAL.- Academy Jutsu:
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)

Name: Konoha Kage Buyou | Leaf Shadow Dance Rank: D Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Konoha Kage Buyou is a Taijutsu technique that is used to position a ninja's opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. The ninja will first quickly appear below their opponent, then with a switch upper kick they will launch their target into the air. The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest. This move is used before preforming "Omote Renge - Front Lotus" or "Shishi Rendan - Lion Combo". Chakra Cost: 4
Name: Shishi Rendan | Lion Combo Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The user first uses the "Konoha Kage Buyou - Leaf Shadow Dance" to manuever his/her opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing his/her opponent, the user will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. If he/she is unable to make a clean strike, he/she will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his/her target's attention and defense to one area. The user can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, the user will deftly rotate his/her body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Kazaguruma | Windmill (Capoeira) Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: These spinning kicks are utilized while the user is either on the flat of their back, or after performing a jump into the air. The user will launch two 360 degree spins with their legs extended outwards, forcing the opponents away from them. If any opponents are caught within the kicks while the user is on their back, they will be knocked to the floor causing moderate concussive damage and leaving them open for an attack. If the opponents are caught within the kicks while in the user is in midair, they will be sent flying from their starting position, causing moderate concussive damage in the process. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Sukaru | Ginga (Capoeira) Rank: C-A Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: This technique forms the basic stance of what Capoeira is as a whole, and emphasizes the importance of keeping the body's nature rhythm flowing at all times. By sending chakra to enhance the correct muscles, it allows a Capoeira user to dodge and evade a majority of of incoming attacks using quick bursts of speed, whether it be physical or jutsu based. This is achived through the use of jumps, flips, somersaults, swaying, or just as simple as dropping to the ground. The user will also be able to incorporate this evasion tactic to boost the strength of following Taijutsu attacks by 20%, 40%, and 60% for as long as the jutsu is sustained, due to the centrifugal forces generated from such acrobatics. - Weaponry Jutsu:
Name: Ryūtsuisen Rank: D Type: Kenjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: This attack is used from a position higher than an opponent, usually initiated by a powerful jump. Once achieved, Ryūtsuisen uses the momentum of the fall to strengthen a two-handed sword swing that brings the blade down on the opponent's head or shoulder. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Ryūshōsen Rank: D Type: Kenjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: The opposite of Ryūtsuisen, Ryūshōsen is a rising attack meant to strike the jaw from below with the blunt end of the sword. For additional power, one uses one's free arm to apply force to the back of the blade and utilizes a powerful upward jump during the attack. This in turn usually sends the target flying if executed correctly. Chakra Cost: 3
Name: Ryūtsuishōsen Rank: C Type: Kenjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A combination of Ryūtsuisen and Ryūshōsen, Ryūtsuishōsen begins with the powerful jump and supported upswing of Ryūshōsen, giving the leap enough power to launch one's opponent in mid-air, and on the returning drop, Ryūtsuisen is performed. This in turn will most likely end with a fatal wound if landed correctly, or at the very least, several fractured bones for a none lethal approach. Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Ryūkansen Rank: C Type: Kenjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Most often used as a counterattack against a thrust or charge, the user will sidestep away from the forward-moving opponent as they move past them. In doing so, the user spins in a full circle, adding momentum and centrifugal force to the strength of the sword swing, which is then aimed at either the opponent's back or the back of the neck. This in turn makes it exceedingly difficult to recover or defend against. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Doryūsen Rank: C Type: Kenjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: A ranged attack in which the user will drive their sword into the ground, while at the same time releasing an average amount of chakra. This in turn will shatter the area around where the blade landed, sending earthen debris flying towards the opponent, and causing moderate concussive damage. Chakra Cost: 6
Name: Dansurōtasu | Dancing Lotus Rank: C Type: Kenjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Description: This kenjutsu technique delivers a massive flurry of strikes that is delivered to key locations or vital spots on the opponent. The sheer speed of the slashes makes this technique exceeding difficult to dodge or counter. Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Shokkingu hōyō | Shocking Embrace Rank: C-A Type: Kenjutsu Element: Raiton Range: Close (0m - 5m) Description: This jutsu is a fairly simple technique in which the user will manipulate Raiton chakra around the sword, as well as into the blade at later ranks. After a few hand signs, the Raiton chakra that was built up will go through the hilt and up into the blade, where it will remain until the end of the technique.
C: The Raiton chakra will flow through the hilt, but stop at the beginning of the blade, allowing a nearly invisible glow of electricity to radiate one inch around the blade. These electrical currents will cause numbness to any appendage touched in this manner. If an appendage is hit more than once, it will be paralyzed for 1 post until it regains feeling once more. The effects of the jutsu at this rank will last for 2 posts.
B: The Raiton chakra will flow through the hilt, and travels half way up the length of the blade, allowing a clearly visible crackle of electricity to radiate one inch around the blade. These electrical currents will now cause moderate burns and muscle spasms, in addition to effects from C rank to any opponents touched by the blade. The effects of the jutsu at this rank will last for 2 posts.
A: The Raiton chakra will flow through the hilt, allowing the maximum amount Raiton chakra to enter the blade. This time the electrical currents will form a cackling vortex that will radiate three inches around the blade, while the chattering noise of the surge can be physically be heard. These electrical currents will now cause heavy burns and muscle spasms, in addition to effects from C rank to any opponents touched by the blade. After a few hand signs, the Fuuton chakra that was built up will go through the hilt and up into the blade, where it will remain until the end of the technique.
C: The Fuuton chakra will flow through the hilt, but stop at the beginning of the blade, allowing nearly invisible air currents to radiate one inch around the blade. These air currents will cause minor lacerations to any opponents that come within 1 foot of the blade, even if the blade does not make physical contact with the victim. In addition, the effects of the jutsu at this rank will last for 2 posts.

That unconscious varies on the size of the debris. Remove that part please. If you feel a large rock would knock them out and they shrug it off talk to an eval mod to look at the topic and judge for you.

Remove the post count and the swinging speed. Wind is good for extending blade reach and cutting easier. Not swinging speed. Other than that just add an upkeep cost and we will be good. |

Done. Although wind is not only good for offensive purposes, it can be used to increase the speed in which an object moves. The same as Raiton chakra can be used to speed a person's muscle speed. |

One thing I noticed with your profile, is that when you pick weaponry you have to have two ranges listed. Like: (Main: Close, Sub: Long) for an example.
Other than that, everything looks pretty good so you will get the 2nd approval after editing that small thing! And I'm a fan of Mugen, so look forward to seeing him in action!
