PostSubject: Uchiha, Azoth (Konoha Genin) Uchiha, Azoth (Konoha Genin) EmptySat 07 Jul 2012, 12:14 pm

Spoiler:

Uchiha, Azoth

THE INFO.

Name:Azoth Uchiha

Nickname:Azo

Age:14

Gender:Male

Appearance: Azoth has the appearance of a average Uchiha patriot, his wardrobe adorned with the fan symbol of his clan. when he is tasked on a mission he has a certain attire he tends to wear. At its basis is a long sleeve black under shirt. the shirt is fitted loosely around his body, and the sleeves hang a inch or so lower than the ends of his fingers whilst his hand is open. This covers up the fact that Azoth is even wearing gloves underneath, which blend well against his shirt being that they are the same color. His gloves cover up his hands, and most of his fingers, reaching up to cover his forearm as well. On the opposite side of his palms and wrists, are patches of steel with certain ornamental holes poked into it. These holes have strings at the bottom of them which hold the guard in place, these guards can be found on both his hands.

Over this shirt, Azo wears a coat of blue with a bright red trimming, with more red to be found on the inverse side of it. it has a collar which stands inches above his neck, buttoned together at the center, with white on the other side of it. the coat is split down the center, just below where the button is that holds the collar together. At the center of it, where Azo's chest is, is a Uchiha fan cut in half, one part on each side. the fan has the traditional colors of the Uchiha , white and red. A brown belt lies beneath the fan, tied up by a regular buckle at the center of Azo's waist. To the sides and back side of his waist, Azoth has many pouches which contain weaponry and such he uses during a fight. Underneath his belt is also a small sash which is as dark as his shirt, it casually hangs in the wind along the front part of his groin.

Underneath the sash, covering up his lower body is a pair of loosely fitted pants. They have a slightly lighter shade the his dark undershirt and such, but is still pretty dark. and at his feet he wears a pair of black ninja styled shoes, which leave the front of his feet uncovered and reach up high, inches above his ankle. On his back laid his most noteworthy piece of weaponry, which was a jet black Ninjato, black along both the hilt and blade, strapped in a sheath which was mostly black, with hints of red curving lines. Under his long sleeves were too also black retractable wrist blades he used for more discreet attacks. meeting up with his pants, Azo is clothed fully all around his body except for the ends of his fingers, toes, and his neck and face.

As for Azo himself, his body is slim with barely any excess fat along any part of it, standing at a height of 5'5 and weighing 120 pounds. his skin has light tone to it, but not pale, maintaining only the hints of a tan. The most noteworthy thing about Azo is the scar he bears from one cheek of his face, to another, going over his nose. The scar gained early on in his childhood, when Azo was first able to use his Sharingan. It gives him a stern look about him, especially when matched with the bright red of his Sharingan eye, making Azo quite the menacing fighter.

Normally, he had light blue eyes when his Sharingan wasn't active. His hair resembled the traditional Uchiha style, having a black tone to it. Spiking up at the top, dropping down in many bangs to the sides of their face, and along his forehead, going as far down as the bottom of Azo's nose. His hair was bushy at the top, and coming down at the back in a equally bushy pony tail. During his off time, azoth adopts a more leisurely manner of dressing. he keeps his hair combed in the same manner, but now only wears a sleeveless grey shirt, with a black vest on top of it. The vest is opened at the center, and has two red dots at the upper half of both sides. in those dots centers lays sketched two small Uchiha fan symbols, while on his back was another fan symbol, large enough to cover his entire back.

His pants were average black ones, fitted loosely like his shirt, and stretching far down to meet with his shoes, which have the same look as the ones he uses on missions. Being the cautious Shinobi that he is though, Azo never leaves home without his Ninjato strapped across his back.

Forehead Protector:During missions Azoth keeps it tied around his forehead as a sign of pride for his village, but while he is at home in his village he ties it around his left arm, higher above it at the bicep. The cloth has a dark blue shade, while the steel is clear and taken care of, still maintaining a heavy shine.

Personality: Azoth had a very basic understanding of the world during the early years of his life. he believed himself to be superior to most other Shinobi due to his Uchiha blood. Though once he was taken in by Hayate, his views changed drastically. Azo learned many things from his foster father, like the value of every single Shinobi, regardless of what clan they may be from. Azoth grew to be a confident young ninja in his academy days. He was easy to socialize with, and very understanding. Azoth also made a very good leader for squad based fighting, using his allies powers to their maximum potential in collaboration with his own strengths.

Azoth was diligent with most aspects of his life, being put through a lifestyle of strict schedules and regiments. He had a good sense of humor and strong will which made it hard for him to give up. Being an Uchiha also made Azoth into a perfectionist of sorts, who doesn't relent until everything he does meets a certain standard of approval he sets for himself. As an unforeseen advantage of his Uchiha bloodline, he had very fair skin and quite appealing features, making him popular with many female Shinobi he encountered during his days training at the academy. Azoth strives to be an all around reputable ninja, taking care to be just but merciful, and strong but fair.

He takes great inspiration from men like the Hokage who seek to unite the different clans into one home, or village. For Azoth considers himself a leaf Shinobi before he considers himself an Uchiha clansmen, though still taking pride in his upbringing. he considers himself lucky, for he always had the love of a parent on his side, up until the death of his foster father Hayate. afterwards, azoth developed a slightly more cynical approach to the world. Slowly, it became harder and harder for him to open up his heart to strangers as he did during his time at the academy. he trusted less, and relied upon himself much more, though he kept up a deceptive facade, making it seem as if the old Azoth had never been fatally wounded by a traumatic memory. Azoth's hobbies include, but are not limited to reading books, training, and spending time with people who are close to him. he likes ideas of honor, and displays of strength, disliking people who take a cowardly, weak, and easy approach in life.

Clan: Uchiha

Nindō: "Every path but your own is the path of fate. Keep on your own track, then"

THE NINJA.

Origin: The Fire Country

Affiliation: Konohagakure

Rank: C

Specialties: Ninjutsu, Weaponry (Main: Sword, Second:Exotic)

Elemental Affinities: Fire (Katon), Earth (Doton)

Combat Style: Azoth is a powerful and gifted Shinobi, with a relentless attitude when it comes to combat. he isn't what you would call bloodthirsty though, just determined with a iron will. He tends to use his speedy movements to blind his foe's, using many feints before showing his finishing technique. He try's trapping his foes between a rock and a hard place, sometimes in the literal sense, using his earth release Justu. his earth style allows him a strong defense, and control over the terrain he fights on.

His natural affinity of fire is where Azoth's destructive power shows. he uses the flames to incinerate a foe once backed into a trap, or at times, to destroy anything else in his way. His comprehensive knowledge of weaponry also allows him to capture his opponent in traps, or even launch a offensive combo of attacks from all sides. Azoth try's to annihilate his foes as quick as possible, relying on his eyes only when called for, to see through a unknown enemy Jutsu or give Azoth the edge in a difficult battle.

Since his battle style involves using many different Jutsu's to pulverize his foe into dust, not wasting a single one though, each Jutsu having its point whether it be in launching an offensive strike or defending him from his foes own strike. His weakness lies in his vitality, he focuses more on being evasive rather than training his body to take damage, preferring fast battles over long drawn out ones. He is comfortable in close to mid range fighting, where he feels he has control over the battlefield. His trump card is his Sharingan, which unveils most secrets his foe may hide and allows him to unleash his full powerful.

THE BACKGROUND.

History:
From The Cradle To The Grave

Azoth was born in the dead of night, surrounded by pyres of dancing flames all around. when he was born, he had a small patch of hair which was jet black, and incredibly bushy. He was mostly average looking for a babe just fresh out of his mother's womb, though his upbringing would be anything but average. He was born to two criminal Shinobi, said to be of equivalent power to Jonins. His mother, Sayuri Uchiha left Konohagakure when she and Azo's father, Katsu Uchiha were only Chunin's. They hated the village for trying to put their clan, the mighty Uchiha, in the same league with dozens of other clans which couldn't hope to hold their own against them.

They were Uchiha patriots true and true, having the white and red fan symbol of the Uchiha plastered all over their clothing. and all over the small dank cave they now called their home. The cave was no larger than 10 meters all around, and had few adornments besides the pyres, and banners marked with more fans. At the far end of it, where two small cots which they used as beds, made of hay and some tattered blankets. They were in a rough state, after fending for themselves for so long, their resources had run dry, and their senses were beginning to dull with the years stacking on them. Katsu held his newborn son close in his hands, seeing the life flutter inside him as the baby cried its lungs out.

"This child is remarkably spirited Sayuri, I think he may have what it takes to finally restore the Uchiha clan as the head of the ninja world". He said, bringing the baby up to lay in Sayuri's arms, she looked like she had gone through all hell, the process of giving birth having taken away all her stamina. She could barely lay eyes on him, though a dark smile still crept its way along her face. "We shall name him Azoth, what do you think of that my love?" she said. "A fine name indeed, for a warrior of his standing". they were both brimming with pride at what they were planning, already laying the child's entire life in front of them in their heads.

As the years went by, Azo was kept in his parents cave mostly, while they would go outside and fend for food. the cave was located in the fire country, they hadn't run far, just enough so they could keep out of the way of any tracker Nin or anyone else who might give them trouble. Azo was taught mostly by his mother, who always confessed a very strict view of the world. She believed it was the Uchiha's duty to defeat any other elite clans who may seek definite power in Konohagakure, believing the Uchiha to have the most advanced form of Doujutsu. The purity of their art, and the power of their clan gave them the right to rule, but that right had been taken from them by other clans. Minor clans. this indoctrination lasted for the first five years of Azo's life, taking root deep inside of his juvenile soul. once he was 5, his parents swiftly began teaching him the ways of the Shinobi, everything from the arts required to fight to the cruel way of life which requires that these same Shinobi be used as tools, weapons of mass destruction if you may.

Though during this time, and the time leading up to it, Azo's parents were becoming more and more careless. Up until they finally slid, one day when his father was out looking for game to hunt, he was spotted by a Anbu member returning from a mission with two more at his side. Immediately, his father set upon them, holding their attention for as long as he could while he sent a shadow clone in the opposite direction to warn Sayuri and his son. Though it was all in vein, the years had dulled his power, and he was barely a match for the Anbu Shinobi, who had no choice but to restrain him using deadly force. His mother received the message, but was only a couple of miles away from the cave before finally being hunted down like a rabid animal. His mother and father were always of like mind though, so she too made a shadow clone that luckily was able to make it farther than she did. Just far enough to reach the boarding forest of Konohagakure, while Sayuri was cut down way before that, she too put up a fight, but sadly met the same outcome.

A Chance Encounter

When Sayuri's life blood ran cold her clone vanished, leaving Azo all alone. for the first time in his life, he was alone with nowhere to call home and nowhere to go. This was harsh on him, though he knew he couldn't give up. No Uchiha would ever bend his knee to anyone, or any situation. Life wasn't easy for Azo over the course of the upcoming year though, he had to fend for himself, though he was lucky, the area around Konohagakure was always well protected and he had learned enough from his parents to scavenge food for himself. It was tough, up until he met the person he would one day consider to be his first friend.

It was a year after his abandonment, when Azo was roaming along the forest, he had strayed a little closer to the village then he usually would when he came across a man, huge in stature walking around. Azo kept a watchful eye over him as he moved, and soon realized he held a bouquet of flowers in his right hand. He also had strapped across his back a huge blade, like a claymore but with the blade much wider. Azo followed him to a opening within the forest, where he was able to see him drop the flowers on some sort of stone monument. The man stayed there for quite awhile, just standing there unphased. This perplexed Azo, what reason could this guy possibly have to just lay about there for so long. When he finally did turn, and faced Azoth he noticed something which interested him. the man was an Uchiha, just like he was, he had the white and red fan of his clan emblazoned against the front of his attire.

Black silky hair flowing with the wind around him, he rose his arm to his face and wiped his eyes. Azo thought that whatever reason may had brought him to follow this man, was gone now, and he needed to go on his own way before he was found out. Too late. as Azoth turned to head in the opposite direction, he saw the man right across from him on another branch. Azo lost all the color from his face, hell, he almost fell from his high perch on the tree. "what are you doing outside of the village little one?" the man said, in a soothing tone.

Azo couldn't formulate even the simplest sentence to tell the man, he was too afraid of what would happen if Konohagakure found out about his existence, the child of two criminal ninja would not be looked upon well by any village. The man moved up closer to Azo, now on his same branch, the movement was done with a blinding speed though Azo couldn't even keep up with him with his eyes. "Your an Uchiha like I am, aren't you little one? you haven't been able to stop staring at my chest this whole time". Further unnerved by the clairvoyance of the man, Azo decided to run, high tail it before he could be reported back to the village and found out. this plan didn't last long however, for the man caught him in mid air where he would have landed on the branch across from him.

Azo thought it was over, the man's arm's were huge, and ripped with muscle. he could end his life by just squeezing the life from him, so he closed his eyes tightly, and awaited the fate he thought was coming as a certainty. Though it didn't, Azo was fine, he opened his eyes and the first thing he gazed at was the man smiling widely at him, the sight filled him with warmth. "Look, I don't know who you are, but you seem malnourished. have you eaten?" his eyes dropped a bit now. He knew the man must only be tending to him because he was an Uchiha, a powerful one at that, at least that was what his parents told him. He nodded timidly, agreeing to the man's kind offer.

A New Horizon

When he arrived at the man's home, he was able to deduce a lot. He was a black smith, that was probably how he had come to be so large and strong. The symbol of the Uchiha clan was littered all around his home, which inspired that strong patriotic feeling deep inside Azo. Maybe this was where he belonged, fate had taken him back to his roots, maybe he would be the blade to cut out his parents will. He put such thoughts aside though as he ate at the table with his new acquaintance. they talked over some bowls of ramen the man had made, revealing different things about themselves. the man was called Hayate, and he was a local black smith in the Hidden Leaf Village, and even more so amongst the Uchiha clan. "So, that must mean you're the best weapons master in the village! us Uchiha are already the best clan, now this!" in that moment, Hayate's bowl dropped to the table.

His face had a stern and powerful look to it, which had inspired fear in Azo, the first sliver of the emotion he had felt since after his encounter with Hayate. "No clan is better than any other, we are all leaf ninja" Hayate said, his eyes locked on Azo. "Uchiha or not, they are our neighbors, they bleed like we do, and feel just the same. a ninja should be judged by his actions, not his heritage". "But as Shinobi aren't we the most pure, and the strongest of the clans?" Azoth said, flabbergasted at the words he heard. "No, what makes a ninja better or worse is his drive and ambition. those who have something to fight for will never surrender the dream to become exceptional Shinobi. do you want to be a ninja, little one?". Azoth never thought it was a choice, seeing a plethora of options open up in front of him, he looked at Hayate and exclaimed "Yes, I do. I want to be a ninja that makes the Uchiha Clan proud".

Hayate grinned innocently, the stern man fading away now as he patted Azo on the head "then know your fellow ninja. these dreams you posses, they have similar ones. If you want to make the Uchiha clan truly proud, then set a example for them to follow. Be a strong and righteous ninja, that way, even the whole village will one day be proud of you." At this moment, a new stage had just begun in Azoths life. From that point on, Hayate took it upon himself to raise Azoth as his own flesh and blood. All the while, Azoth had a dream to aspire for himself, he would show the Uchiha clan that not everything had to be so dark, he would earn the privileges his clan thought they deserved.

Hayate trained him in using multiple different weapons, from all kinds of swords to even hammers and such. he also offered a much more just view of the world, instilling these views and morals on Azo. From time to time Azo would also work the forge, building up the young Uchiha's stamina and strength . his training was fierce, but Hayate was never hard with Azoth, he treated him as if he was his very own son. and once he reached the proper age, he enrolled Azoth in Konohagakure's academy. in the academy, Azoth always maintained exceptional marks, even amongst other Uchiha students. paying close attention to what was taught to him from Hayate, he made his peace with other clans. he made several friends in those days, who all looked up to him for his Uchiha blood, the support of his peers filled him with confidence. Azo was considered the cool kid in those days, always joking, and just as good at his ninja skills.

A One Way Trip

Halfway during Azoth's second year at the academy, things started to go downhill. Hayate wasn't making the same income he had been, and not for a lack of skill or willingness on his side. There just wasn't any outside demand for his work, the only clients he could gather were Uchiha Shinobi. the other weaponry using clans already had their own smiths and crafters to provide for their demands. This, along with competition already there (amongst other black smiths of his clan) Hayate's weapons were going unnoticed and unsought. During this time in Azoth's life he had to spend a lot of time at home with Hayate to help him around the Forge or take on other random jobs that could bring money into the household.

Though as hard as they worked and tried, it was to no avail. Hayate soon couldn't make the payments that maintained his lifestyle, and this forced him and Azoth to live out on the streets for about a month or so. During this time, things were harsh, they had to constantly keep moving and searching for jobs, just to pull together enough money for them to eat for the day. Any extra money they were able to acquire went directly into this black pouch Hayate had emblazoned with a small Uchiha fan on the front of it. during this time, Azoth saw a new side to the man who had so humbly offered his home to him in his time of need. He was always there, but it was like he wasn't, as if his mind was somewhere else and not at all interested by the events unfolding before him.

Azoth felt so useless, if he was a Genin already he could be out doing missions for the village and making enough money to return all the kindness Hayate had shown him. He could offer him a home, when he had none and was truly in need of someone to lean on. This pushed Azoth to his limits, he worked hard every day on any job they were able to find, no matter how menial the task was. Azo would come home to their small makeshift shack everyday exhausted from all the work he did throughout the course of the day. He had a pair of ragged blankets inside, laid messily on the floor towards the far side of the shack, opposite the entrance.

He always slept early during those days, he knew he'd need all his energy to do the same thing all over again the next day. He'd wake up frequently throughout the night though, sometimes to random sounds in the village, and other times to the rustling of Hayate in the night. He noticed Hayate would do this quite a lot, he'd leave the shack and return some time later, never telling Azo where he was going or what he was doing. Azoth thought he must have had to do something personal, maybe visit the same grave he had visited when him and Azoth had met. One night though, Azoth fought the grip of dreams and gave in to his curiosity. Hayate was a complex man, and his idol, it was him who showed Azoth that the world wasn't so black and white, like his parents had told him.

He moved with a unrefined grace along till he made his way to the entrance of the shack, as he exited slowly he heard a low indistinguishable noise on the other side. The door creaked open just enough to let him slide out, and on the other side of it was Hayate huddling up under a blanket and sitting on a cinderblock. His back was turned to Azo, and he was shivering viscously. there was wood piled together in front of him which they would use for campfires to roast any food they may acquire or even to provide them warmth in the few hours they had together in peace. Azoth approached him slowly, not knowing what to expect, though it seemed Hayate hadn't noticed his sly entrance and when Azo put his hand on Hayate's back, he jumped. in a quick, surprised haste, Hayate moved his forearm to his eyes and wiped them. he didn't do it fast enough though, Azoth knew what was going on, he had been up most of the night, crying outside in the cold air.

When the gesture was completed, he looked back up to meet Azoths eye's, now turned and facing Azo with his upper body. He spoke in a low, broken tone " Azo, I was just thinking about the house we are going to buy when all our hard work pays off. It'll have a forge that will rival any smith's in all of Konohagakure!". Azoth knew he was miserable, and maybe he wouldn't if Azoth wasn't here. That's when it struck Azo that maybe he had come out of nowhere, and burdened Hayate. Becoming nothing more than a parasite, a stain of blood on Hayate's otherwise clean hands. Azoth looked down, and clenched his fist tightly with all his strength.

He spoke, using all his focus to make the words come out exactly how he wanted them too "Hayate, I'm sorry...if I was a better ninja I could give you a forge your craft deserves, and even bring the glory your weapons really deserve. I'm barely any help around the forge, I'm just a incompetent assistant....and a burden to you." Azoth wanted to run, disappear. maybe after he helped Hayate build enough money for a respectable household in a nice part of town. In the second he finished his sentence and had these faults, Hayate's jaw had dropped, he was breathless and suddenly still. He then patted Azo's left bicep, holding him close to Hayate forcing their gazes to meet.

Hayate's eyes were glossy again when he spoke in a completely different tone "Azoth, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried. Open your eyes little one, for when you finally do you will be greeted by world full of opportunities. You are a great Shinobi, don't try denying it. Every path but your own is the path of fate. Keep on your own track, then. For as long as you hold on to your aspirations, through you will I be able to find what I needed to find in myself. You are precious to me Azoth, and we have not only the same blood, but the same eyes. But even more importantly, we see the same things, we see a world with misery and ever constant struggles that we want to save. We are a beacon amongst a darkness so thick it clouds and taints people's minds and hearts. The kind of darkness that already took one pupil from me, I won't let it have another one without a fight."

Azoth was dumbfounded, all these uncertain emotions had been silenced. He was calm, for once sure that no matter how deep down they were buried, they wouldn't be there long. Timidly, he asked "who was your first pupil?" Hayate answered in more of a whisper, though Azo couldn't miss it. "My Son..." Azoth suddenly tensed up again, though he couldn't betray Hayate's confidence in him, he had reassured Azoth and Azoth couldn't stand to rub salt in his wounds. Quickly, Azo made a series of hand seals, and turned to face the middle, where the pile of wood was laying. After completing the seals, he raised his hand to his mouth in a fist with s small opening for him to exhale.

In his mind, he proclaimed "Goukakyuu no Jutsu" and immediately spat forth a stream of fire. this fire was intense and larger then Azo had ever had done before. His intention was to only light the campfire, though he blew that away and a good portion of random junk in front of the shack. Hayate's eyes were wide, and his jaw was dropped even lower than earlier, Azoth was full of surprises. Hayate glanced at him and moved his hand up to pat and nuzzle his hair. A huge smile came across his face, Azoth could only return the gesture. though things were tough, he always pulled through with Hayate there to pick him back up. A month later, they had found a house they could afford in a bad side of town, this came with its own entire set of problems though.

The Uchiha's Bane

At the age of 13, Azoth officially graduated from the academy. Due to all the time he had labored as Hayate's apprentice in smiting, he ended up graduating a year later then he expected, but when the day came, Azoth was proud nonetheless. Over the last few years though, things had changed. Crime had increased at a steady rate and it became difficult for Hayate, the man who had been a father to Azoth, to pay off his expenses. Gangs had risen all around the neighborhood they resided in, and where ever gangs resided, there had to be a head honcho, someone who ran all the operations.

He was only known as the Shadow of the Leaf, a vague name sure enough, but anyone who resided in this part of town knew about him. He'd rob whoever he could, and his goons would go around collecting protection money from various households. Azo had seen them when they passed by Hayate's home, he couldn't stand the sight of them. lowlife criminals who thought everything should be given to them just because they were armed to the teeth with all sorts of weapons. Azoth wanted to kill them for all the times they had pushed Hayate into giving them money they didn't work for, money they didn't deserve, Hayate wouldn't allow him though, he wouldn't even consider it. he said "Better they take our money then our determination Azo, these kind of thugs are depraved. pity them little one".

Azoth had no room in his heart for any compassion, he'd only give his pity to those who deserved it. How different he had become since the days he had spent under his parents tutelage. But he brushed all his thoughts aside, after all, today was the day he graduated and would finally start setting the right example for his clan, he'd show Hayate just how much he'd grown in these few short years. Hayate had always given so much for him, Azoth knew today he had to repay the favor. So, of his own accord, he decided to stop by a local market, and stock up on various spices and ingredients.

Tonight the meal would be on him, it was the least he could do for his foster father. After he did, he rushed home, eager to show off his new head band and immediately get to work on dinner, he hadn't had the chance to eat since breakfast. As he arrived, he noticed the door leading into Hayate's home was left open, no one was tending to it though. He hurried in, setting the bags at the door to see what was going on, while calling out to Hayate. No one answered though, the only answer he was able to find laid across the floor of the forge room. There was blood, and plenty of it. quickly, Azo ran to where the pool laid, and saw a kunai standing from the ground.

He took it up in his hand and looked for any markings that might tell him who had originally made the weapon. It lacked Hayate's signature features, which wasn't any good news. through careful examination, he was able to make out a faint writing sketched onto the hilt of the kunai, it had the name of the forge where it was made. Though the name wasn't of any blacksmith in town that he'd heard of, and Azo memorized them all (it was one of the various training regiments he had gone through as Hayate's apprentice). Quickly he went into Hayate's room, there was a weird feeling being in there without his permission, but Azo had to do it, Hayate's life could very well depend on it. Pulling out a map of Konohagakure from one of the drawers in his dresser, Azo tried to find the name of the forge that made this weapon.

With luck, he quickly found it. the forge was abandoned though, probably where this gang was hiding out and supplying themselves with all these weapons Azo had noticed on them. Azoth knew this could be a life or death situation, but he'd never dare abandon the man who took him in after his own abandonment. Quickly, he ran to the armory and stocked up, he'd need as much fire power as he could muster if he was going to save Hayate. He grabbed two retractable blades and strapped them on the underside of his forearm's, along with a jet black Ninjato that was hung there. Azoth had never seen it before, but during that moment he paid it no heed.

He just strapped it across his back in its sheath, and filled the pouches across his belt with kunai, shuriken, and more pocket sized weaponry. As he ran out, ready to make his way to the abandoned forge, he saw a coat held on a cloths hanger, it was next to the door he had originally came through. When he rushed in, he must have missed it, but now putting it on and charging out was all he could do to avoid staring at it in amazement. it was blue with red trimmings, sleeveless and fitted for his body. He knew Hayate must have gotten it for him as a graduation present, if he wasn't sure of himself before, Azoth was now. He was going to save Hayate, no matter the cost.

The Uchiha's Flame

Azoth made his way through Konohagakure, keeping to the dark with a certain finesse. He was a Genin now, and he needed act like one, how else was any one going to look up to him. He was a blue shadow flickering aimlessly through the night. Soon he arrived at a huge warehouse, the windows broken with the glass laying shattered on the floor. You could tell the place wasn't well taken care of, though Azoth had no time to fully take in his surroundings. He kept his eyes in front of him, checking his corners while his heart paced as quick as his movements were.

He decided to enter the place through an open window on the second floor. He used his Art of Tree Climbing Jutsu, centering his chakra to the soles of his feet as he climbed his way in with minimal effort. He landed on the second floor making minimal to no noise as he crept his way in deeper. The second floor barely had any floor to it, it was only a few feet engulfed with shadows that gave Azoth a perfect view of the scene unfolding before him. The first person he was able to make out was Hayate, chained and bound in front of some man sitting on a throne. He was surrounded by four other armed men, each sporting a matching Nodaichi. they weren't speaking too loudly, but Azo could hear them if he paid attention.

He tuned in, closing his eyes to interpret the sound better as he instinctively reached for the wire in his back pouch. "So Hayate, we told you there was an opening in our gang did we not? our smith just met with an....unfortunate end." those cocky bastard's, Azoth thought. "Yeah old man, your an Uchiha, your stuff is bound to be better than that Senju hack we had!" one of his bodyguards had said. From the sounds of their voices, Azo could tell they couldn't be older then 30, seeming relatively young. He opened his eyes now, the darkness covered a lot of their features, though he noticed one distinct color combination on the one sitting atop the throne.

It was white and red, resembling the fan, symbol to his very own Uchiha clan. That's when he heard a familiar voice "me? work for a couple of second rate gangsters like you? don't bet on it. I'd have cut through all of you like butter if I had my sword. ". that was Hayate alright, strong willed as ever. Then suddenly, a harsh sound made its way through out the warehouse. It was the sound of one of the bodyguards hilts slamming against the back of Hayate's head. liquid spurting out from it, Azo knew that could only be one thing.

This sight infuriated him, he decided their injustice would last no more. in one swift movement, Azoth jumped, easily clearing the room as he let his wires dangle beneath him. They were meant to wrap around the throne, capturing the boss of the gang there, as he landed on the far wall of the room. He held himself using his Art of Tree Climbing Jutsu, and moved the wires to his mouth to free up his hands. He then committed a prompt sequence of hand seals before saying to himself in his mind "Ryuuka no Jutsu". A fire shot out instantly from his mouth, following the wire to the throne and engulfing it utterly in flames. as soon as his move was completed, he opened his mouth and dropped the wire to fall to the floor beneath him.

He followed this by another different series of hand seals, quickly blowing out 4 fireballs from his mouth, each making their way to hit the body guards as he thought "Housenka no Jutsu" . After launching those, he jumped to land directly in front of the throne, 3 meters from where Hayate was. When he landed he placed his hand over his back and unsheathed the jet black Ninjato. He was so confident that his Jutsu had went off without a hitch that he charged in to the fray, the smoke still unclear. He was met by stiff resistance, in the form of a deadly knee to his abdomen. The attack took the air right out of him , and sent him reeling back.

He rolled along the floor and couldn't keep a grip on his blade, it flew out of his hand and away from him. quickly, though through immense pain, he stood up and made it to his feet, steadying himself. As the smoke faded, all he saw were two men, both adorned with the white and red colors of the Uchiha fan symbol. Hayate was still on his knees while the other man held a chain wrapped around his neck in one hand, with a kunai primed to slit Hayate's throat in the other. This was not good, Azo needed to make a plan and he needed to do it very quickly. All he could think of was to reach in a pouch of his for a shuriken to launch at his foe, but just as his hand moved to reach for one, the man pulled back at Hayate's chain, choking him.

The man proclaimed "you dare walk in here, to my hideout and try to end my life? you must be the boy he keeps....well little one, let me show you what happens to those who turn their backs to me, the shadow of death!" Azoth had no time to react, the only thing he could do was feel, and he did a lot of that as he saw the man slit Hayate's throat. Anger, sadness, these were just a few of the emotions that had struck out at Azoth. he dropped to his knee, taking his head in his hands and just laying there lifeless. the man laughed now, it was a hysterical and demented sound the filled Azo's senses. Before long, the man spoke again "now, it's your turn. embrace death young one, for death is all our shadows!" as the words ended, he broke out to a blood thirsty charge in front of Azoth, his kunai poised to strike from the start.

As he made his way toward him, Azoth tilted his head upwards, slowly until he finally made eye contact with his attacker. His attacker was the one who was hit with a blow though, it was a feeling of fear spreading through his body. Azoth's eyes glowed bright red amongst the dark room, one black tomoe on each eye. There could be no doubt, Azoth had activated the Kekki Genkai belonging distinctively to his clan, the Uchiha. it was known as the Sharingan eye , any it carried with it a certain aura of power. seeing things in a whole new light, Azoth knew nothing but that this man had to die.

He had no place in this world, and none in Azo's heart either, in fact, he had just ripped out a piece. In one fluid motion, Azo flew up into a charge, his foe launching the kunai immediately to stop him. Azo slid under it on both knees, seeing it's trajectory moments before it was launched. His body lacked the speed to keep up with his new eyes though, so he received a deep scratch across his face. The wound quite bad, but the adrenaline in his veins numbed him to all of that. His move allowed him to cover the distance to his foe, he followed with a upwards jab to the neck, except his palm was open.

This would bring up the retractable blade hidden under his sleeve which pierced right through the man's neck. Blood spurted out at azoth as the man fell limp and lifelessly onto him, he shrugged him aside with empty movements, only focusing on making his way to Hayate's corpse. He held him in his arms, though the life had already bled out of him. There was nothing Azoth could do but cry. He did a lot of that before he finally made his way home that night. The next year wasn't easy for him, he was 14 and still a Genin, living in Hayate's home.

Roleplay Sample: It was a stormy night, thunder banging here and there throughout the streets of Konohagakure. Luckily, this all played into Azoths advantage, the darkness completely concealed his movements while the loud noises of thunder striking off in the distance covered the sound he made. He was outside of a huge establishment in the slums of the village, the streets were practically abandoned, everyone was tucked away safely inside their homes. Everyone that is, except Azo, he had a mission after all and he wouldn't let a little water stand in his way. he was walking parallel to a fence which encased the entire perimeter of the building he needed to break into, his steps maintained a casual stride, meanwhile his head was tilted downward, facing the floor.

Attracting no attention as he moved alone next to the fence, heading right around the circular perimeter, his body was covered up on top by a black hood which spread down over him, shrouding Azoth wherever he went. He kept walking till he reached the side of the building, there he stood next to a large telephone pole which was just wide enough to for him to lay his back on, slightly wider than the length of his shoulders. He took a second to steady his breathing, then lifted his head in a jolt of movement, suddenly his eyes flickered, and when they opened again they were emblazoned with the Sharingan. A red background with one black tomoe to the sides of each eye, The Sharingan was Azoth's Kekki Genkai, passed through generations of Uchiha and only wielded by those exceptional few amongst the clan.

He was about to put his unique power to work, after all it wasn't just blind fate that brought him to this part of town. Azoth had to get inside before he could worry about any of that though, he turned and walked out from behind the telephone pole, exiting opposite the side from whence he came. His stride was unchanged, slowly he turned his head to face the building, keeping his eyes covered by his hood. With his Sharingan, he was able to spot four sentries across the walls of the actual building itself, maybe 10 meters from the fence and 12 or so from Azoth himself. Analyzing his situation, he immediately began his approach, reaching under the folds of the black cloak which covered his body and pulling out four kunais, two in each hand.

He then turned and faced the sentries jumping up atop the fence with the ease imparted by a lifetime of Shinobi training. He landed on one foot and leapt into the air once more, he was nothing more than a graceful shadow amongst the pellets of water falling everywhere. As his body glided through the air high above the sentries, he twisted and contorted till he managed to bring his head to where his feet were. His arms dangled downwards as his body fell back down to earth, with quick precise movements he then proceeded to swing his arms back toward him then toss them out , hurling the kunais out at his foes. Using the Uchiha's secret Jutsu along with his own Sharingan, Azoth managed to redirect the kunais. Each ricocheting off one another, then flying out in odd trajectories to find their prey, lightning struck the moment he did. It revealed him fully to the sentries , though he rarely missed, and tonight was a night of no exceptions or mistakes.

Azoth flipped his body around once more to land on his feet, just as the kunais had found their marks, most in the cranium of his foe's, except for one which dug into a sentries spine. It wasn't a mistake, but Azoth felt as if it was, and it infuriated him, that kind of half assed aim wouldn't cut it if he intended to get farther than just the front door. He regained his composure momentarily, before jogging toward the building, going along its length to the left, keeping a look out with his Sharingan to make sure there weren't any surprises waiting for him. After about 5 minutes or so, he reached a dark doorway guarded by two more sentries, though these seemed twice the size of the others guarding the perimeter, looks like things would just get more difficult as he continued. Well, the larger they are the harder they'll fall, Azoth just had to make sure that they fell without a thump, and he would.

He lurked around the corner crouched in the shadows, poised to strike at his foe, suddenly his hands twitched into various different hand signs as he thought to himself "Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu". Instantaneously, Azoth submerged himself in the earth making minor sounds as he traveled beneath one of his foe's, specifically the one to the right. They seemed alarmed by the noises they heard, but they wouldn't have enough time to check it out, Azo made sure of that. Out of nowhere, his right hand broke free from the ground and clasped his foes right ankle firmly, pulling the huge man into the ground leaving only his head free. He emerged in between his foes, by now the other guard was already unsheathing a katana he held at his side and taking a few steps back as he spewed curses not said in polite company at Azoth.

This didn't bother him though, he'd soon silence this man, after all, who was he (a criminal) to insult Azoth, who was a fully fledged Shinobi. He didn't want this encounter to drag on though, so Azoth struck out first unsheathing the Ninjato on his back and slashing down diagonally from the top right at his foe. The man raised his katana to block it just on time, though that was just a feint, Azoth's real attack came from his other hand. Appearing as just a regular open palm strike at his foes left wrist, Azoth was actually attacking with one of his retractable blades which pierced through his foe's skin and out the other side. Blood flowed like water from the wound as Azoth pulled back on the blade, at this time the other man who was encased in earth started making noise as well, probably dealing with the feeling that this could very well be the end. Azoth turned a full about face and kicked the trapped man in the chin, with enough force to knock him out, he then continued his spiral to face his other foe once more, who had just finished flinching in pain from his wound, Azo made short work of him though, using a string of attacks with both the retractable blade and his Ninjato, until his Ninjato carved its way into his gut.

The man's body dropped, lifeless as Azoth sheathed his blade and made his way into the complex, he kept his Sharingan activated, hoping no one heard the tussle he had outside with the guards. All was calm as he ran from hallway to hallway, where could it possibly be? Azoth wondered to himself, he needed to find that scroll. It had plans corresponding to much of the major gang leaders in Konoha's slums, they were about to make a huge push and Azo needed to know where. Finally, he made out an image in the distance, at the end of the corridor was a door with 4 small tags on it, each plastered with a different seal. Azoth didn't want to overstay his welcome, but surely he couldn't just open the door and set off his foe's trap, playing himself right into their hands. He quickly constructed a plan in his head, it was definitely a crude improvisation, but he needed that scroll, and he needed it now.

He took multiple steps back then with haste in each movement, Azoth made another string of hand signs different from the ones he had done before to travel in the earth, now when he finished he murmured to himself "Goukakyuu no Jutsu". Finishing the signs, he raised his right hand to his mouth in an open fist, from which he exhaled a stream of fire which blew away the door and any seals on it in one bright blaze, he even managed to blow a hole in the side of the building for him to escape. Though now every sentry in the premises would be on to his presence, he ran into the room and scanned over each and every part of it before seeing a small ornate box off to the side. There, Azoth thought, it has to be there. Quickly he dashed for the box and grabbed it by one of the gold handles carved to the side of it while his other hand opened it to make sure it contained the scroll he sought.

With the scroll in his possession Azoth made his way to the hole in the wall he had just blown with his fireball, he gazed outside and made out various figures in the rain mobilizing to stand between Azoth and the fence. Maintaining Sharingan for all this time was beginning to take its toll on him, and he didn't need a full scale battle on his hands, so Azoth came up with a second plan, he'd hope it would work out better then the first one. He made a string of hand seals and proclaimed " Housenka no Jutsu" shooting out 4 fireballs into different tactical locations in the crowd, with the intention of disorientating and separating his foes. He then jumped down, reaching into a pouch on the backside of his belt as he traveled downward and tossing whatever he may have grabbed up into the sky as he landed. What he threw was a failsafe, which landed about 5 meters from the fence, while Azoth himself was a hearty 10 meters away.

He charged rapidly amongst the guards and between the smoldering holes in the ground where his fireballs had landed, clearing a straight path to the fence, he was now 5 meters away and only moving faster. He was 2 meters away when from out of nowhere, a hand reached out and gripped Azoth's shoulder vigorously, dropping him straight on his back and knocking all the air from his body. Gasping to regain it, Azoth caught sight of a war hammer coming down on his head, all he could manage to do was to roll to the side, avoiding the fatal blow by mere inches. He raised himself to his knees and staggered back towards the fence, still breathing hard as the man spoke with a pompous tone "You think you, a lowly ninja brat, could dare steal from someone as powerful as me? How dare you!" and in that moment, Azoth saw a red bloodlust in his eye more visible then even his own Sharingan.

Luckily, his eyes let him make out the man's attack before it struck him, though he was tired and outnumbered, he should have been gone by now. Good thing he prepared though, Azoth lifted a finger in a odd hand sign and murmured once and finally " Gyorai Shin Jutsu". Suddenly the man's charge faltered as he lost the ability to move his feet, Azoth smirked" what have you done to me, you monster!" now it's over, he thought. Needles ripped through the earth around his foe and shot up, slicing away at him from multiple angles until the man had received too much damage to stay coherent. Seeing what appeared to be their boss, taken out with such ease frightened the rest of the guards, who didn't lift a finger to stop Azoth from escaping once he had regained his breath.

Before any moderation takes place, we need to check if you've received permission from an Administrator first to create an Uchiha character. If you have, please supply a name.

My apologies, but you've unfortunately been unsuccessful in your application for an Uchiha position. After reviewing your application, I found it was riddled with basic coding errors and very basic grammatical errors, such as the lack of capitalisation after each sentence. What made matters worse for your application was the fact you didn't have any paragraphs, making all your of information simply a huge wall of text that was even difficult to read at times. I'm sorry if you're annoyed that you've been denied after creating and finishing an entire character, but you really should have asked for permission first before creating an application.

Yeah, i would have asked but the clan page gave me another idea of what you guys meant by (4/6) Admin permission required, i had thought it meant 4/6 Admins needed to approve my application. i hadn't noticed the coding errors, i thought i got to all of them when they first sprung up, but what i wanted to ask is if i could revise my application, maybe reorganize it so it's more aesthetically pleasing as well. if not il just scrape it, but i thought i might as well ask before losing all of it. no hard feelings anyways.

My apologies with the very late reply, I'll try to keep more active with this topic. As for the application, what worries me the most is your roleplaying sample. It's got a magnificent length, the only thing that concerns me is the quality of it. It doesn't quite reach the criteria we set out for Uchiha characters to achieve, which is why I'm still hesitant to allowing you an Uchiha position. I'm sorry, but it's still a denial.

its fine, and rereading my roleplay sample i can see what you mean, i redid it from scratch though and i think it came out a lot better. i hope you can get around to rereading it soon, il strive to write in such a manner more often if you do decide to approve me.

Proof, I'm sorry but it's still a denial. This has been the third and final time now that you'll be denied for an Uchiha position, we don't even allow people second chances let alone a third. I hope you go with a different character, whether belong to a different clan or going clanless.

Well i specifically asked whether i could retry or not in an earlier post, but you must have not caught it, hence why i took your criticism in a constructive way. by the way, i wouldn't consider this a third chance, i didn't get any feed back, just clarification on the second chance. but anyways thats alright, i will make another character in due time.
