Standing at 5'8'' and weighing around 125-140 pounds, Kaze is anything but big, but despite his seemingly average size there is no denying the boy's combative capabilities. The child's form is heavily toned, favoring an athletically lithe form over a large and bulky appearance. The boy's body is a result of hard work; a body carved through the flames of combat and the grind of training. What was once a small and scrawny form has evolved in a very short time to the body of a young up and coming warrior that can not only take a healthy dose of pain and damage but can also dish it out twice fold if need be.
Coupled with a supposedly attractive body, Kaze's face does nothing but add to his appearance with it's rather unique and sharp features. The boy's light hazel brown eyes are bordered by a pair of high cheekbones and a set of slightly narrowed eyelids, giving him a somewhat genuine and intelligent appearance that also serves to clearly display the boy's emotions in most situations despite his efforts to hide his true feelings. Going along with the angular theme of the boy's face is a matching angular nose and an overall narrower facial structure, all of which come together to form a seemingly perfect fox like face if it were not for his slightly larger than average mouth which seems to directly juxtapose the overall theme of his face, while also making his emotions that much more readable.
Sitting atop the boy's head is a mass of messy blonde hair that hangs low, often times hanging in front of his eyes from the front while reaching down to his cheeks on the sides and well past his ears from the back. While the hair is predominately blonde in color, it is not hard to see several streaks of "dirty blonde" and even a bit of brown here and there signaling the start of an all too common darkening phenomena for the boy's hair.
Due to Kaze's occupation of choice he has shed his previously pasty white complexion, gaining a somewhat darker exterior; courtesy of the sun. While calling the boy "tan" may be an overstatement, he is a far cry from being pale, somehow managing to hold a evenly balanced complexion that doesn't seem to err to one side or the other. In terms of his skin's integrity, Kaze does not seem to sport a plethora of scars one might expect to find on someone in his line of work, though that is not to say that his skin is flawless. If one looks hard enough they may be able to find the odd scar or blemish, though none are very noticeable nor do any really carry any significance or traumatic memory, rather they are just the result of a very combat filled lifestyle.
Although Kaze carries no significant scars or blemishes, there is one marking of note that is not easily missed when the boy is unclothed. The marking is located in the middle of the child's chest and unlike the rest of the minor scars that are spread across his body, this particular marking does carry with it a traumatic memory and for this reason and many others, is very significant. Due to the unpleasant memories that are associated with the mark, the child takes measures to keep it covered and does his best to keep it secret from everyone, even those closest to him. Though he does his best to keep it hidden, he still opts to wear cloths that allow him to quickly uncover and access the strange marking for reasons of his own.
Though Kaze has grown significantly since his academy and early genin days, his taste in cloths hasn't evolved much, still opting more for the comfort and utility of clothing pieces over the seemingly trivial concept of style. Kaze can often be seen wearing darker colors, favoring them over their brighter counterparts. In terms of clothing items worn, Kaze has grown used to the idea of wearing a zipped up hooded fleece jacket over a bare back and chest, forgoing the protection and cover of a t-shirt or undershirt, all in order to gain quick access to the unique marking on his chest by simply unzipping his top to expose his chest to the world. For bottoms Kaze will usually be seen wearing a pair of dark cargo pants with the bottoms wrapped in dark blue athletic tape to keep the pant legs from flaring outward and allowing any unwanted materials from finding their way up his pant leg and to prevent his ankles from being overly exposed. For footwear the boy still tends to wear the traditional shinobi sandals due to their comfort and ability to remain silent in most scenarios.
As for accessories, the boy carries very few. He can usually be seen sporting a dark blue kunai holster strapped to his left thigh for easy access to at least three kunai he keeps stocked within the container at all time. Around his waist lay a sturdy black woven and reinforced belt that holds a medium sized satchel on his lower back where the boy chooses to keep many of ninja tools that do not reside in his hunail holster or within the many pockets of his cargo pants and fleece jacket. The final accessory that Kaze chooses to carry is his shinobi forehead protector, given to him upon his acceptance to the shinobi world. While the forehead protector is ideally meant to be worn around one's head, Kaze is much more comfortable keeping it tied securely around his upper left arm around the biceps, though he is not adverse to wearing it properly when the situation calls for it. When doing so he usually tends to wear it due-rag style, choosing to cover his hair with the dark blue cloth.

Personality:
People are complex beings, their minds and emotions can run in a wide range of possibilities. Kaze is no different and as such is rather difficult to analyze and summarize entirely. Rather than describe his personality as a whole it is far easier to break up his more usual aspects into smaller sections, though one must always keep in mind the dynamic nature of humanity and realize that when one speaks about the human mind it is almost impossible to nail every single detail.
Confidence: Kaze is a confident individual who believes in his own strength and when that fails he will believe in his ability to grow stronger. Kaze's confidence is what gives the boy the courage to move forward and is what keeps him from falling prey to depressing thoughts. Though confidence is a great aspect for many to have, one must always be wary of overconfidence, or arrogance. In Kaze's case his confidence can often get him into trouble as it is not tempered with wisdom and as such the boy rarely acknowledges his limitations and can come off as somewhat arrogant to others who don't truly understand him.
Tenacity: There is a lot to be said about a tenacious person. Such a person will rarely give up once their mind is set on something. Kaze is a very tenacious individual, rarely giving up on a goal once he has decided upon it. This quality allows the boy to move forward without being deterred by the innumerable obstacles he may encounter on his journey. Once again, tenacity, while a great characteristic to have, also needs moderation. One who is overly tenacious can often time become so focused on their goal that they lose site of everything else around them. While Kaze lacks true focus, he does tend to have a one track mind when he truly desires something and can often time become rather thoughtless or careless to other factors along the way.
Amiable: Kaze is a friendly person and is one who is easy to talk to if someone is able to get passed his big ego. Kaze is not usually one to throw insults at people nor is he one to tease of put others down. Kaze knows all too well the feeling of being insulted and put down and how much it can hurt and as such he has cultivated an over all friendly personality that allows him to easily approach and talk to people and even forge strong friendships and rivalries. Of course, while being amiable is good, it can result in awkward situations as he often likes to drop all the formal pretenses when addressing others.
Blunt:Tactfulness is not something that Kaze is really familiar with. The boy is a very direct and simple individual and as such will seldom hesitate to speak his mind. Beating around the bush is not something he is good at and so when asked for his opinion, he will usually give it in a very straightforward manor even if he knows that his words may sting. In his opinion it is better for people to know the truth earlier and directly from its source rather than find out later and through here-say.
Ambitious: Ambition is a driving force for so many actions that people take. The ambition to be successful and strong. Kaze holds such ambitions deep within his heart, desiring power and respect of all those around him. This, to many is a great characteristic, but taken in hand with his tenacity it can be a dangerous mix and an excellent breeding ground for evil if one is not careful. Those who pursue power are often corrupted by it.
Hotheadedness: Despite being friendly, it is worth noting that Kaze does have a bit of a temper when pushed around or aggravated and as such may come off as a rather unpleasant person when someone gets on his wrong side. This hotheadedness also comes with a healthy dose of thoughtlessness. In times of great anger, Kaze may often act without thinking which can lead to some troubling situations.
Stubborn: Those who are stubborn are seldom persuaded out of their way of thinking. They will often insist that their way and their methods are the right way with little regard for anything different. Kaze is a very stubborn individual who will go through great lengths to prove that his way is the right way if the situation calls for it. Despite this though, Kaze can at times show maturity and shelf this rather bothersome characteristic when he really needs to.
Self Loathing: Though Kaze is generally a happy, friendly, and confident individual, recent events have started to lead him down a path of self loathing and self hate. Putting it bluntly, Kaze has done things he regrets and is unable to forgive himself. Such self defeating thoughts can play havoc on his usual demeanor when the right nerves are struck in succession.
Loyalty: When Kaze first became a ninja his feelings of loyalty were there, but they were nothing but small sparks waiting for fuel to grow. As time went by Kaze made a few close friends and even grew to admire the leader of his village. This resulted in Kaze's sense of loyalty and belonging growing stronger to a point where it would take a major issue to cause him to harbor thoughts of betrayal to both his friends and his country. In many cases Kaze's actions can be interpreted as his way of supporting the country, though at times it may not be fully apparent. This is not to say that Kaze follows with blind absolution, but he does place trust in those who have gained it.
Unstable: During his time as a genin, Kaze was sent on a classified mission that concluded with him being the only survivor. Not only was Kaze the lone survivor, but he was also the one who murdered most of his team and though the events surrounding the slaughter left Kaze helpless to stop himself, he still caries those scars and a hefty case of survivor's guilt and possibly a bit of post traumatic stress syndrome. This coupled with the evil spirit that managed to infiltrate Kaze's mind and spirit, has created a rather unstable individual who at times can lose himself to the evil being that lurks within him.

Combat Style:
Gaining a great deal of experience during his time as a genin, Kaze has managed to craft his own style of fighting. Though it is nothing formal or fancy, Kaze's combat style provides the boy with a stable pattern to fall back on when he feels himself being pushed back. Due to Kaze's tendency toward taijutsu, the boy can be described as a close quarter's fighter, favoring quick and precise strikes when the opponent is within striking distance. This tendency to fight up close motivates Kaze to pursue his opponents, rarely allowing them to leave melee range if it can be helped. Kaze will often send attack after attack at his target, doing his best not to give them much time to plan or even respond as Kaze sends one attack after another at his foe.
Though his strategy may seem like a foolhardy charge to those watching or facing him, nothing can be further from the truth. Fighting battle after battle has given Kaze a good battle sense. The boy has a good feel for fighting momentum and can seemingly detects the shifts in momentum in both one on one battles and large scale fights. This level of vigilance allows Kaze to be on the lookout for incoming attacks even when he seemingly is just charging in. Of course, this doesn't mean that Kaze is able to see or dodge everything. In the cases that he is caught off guard, Kaze is able to take hits well, doing his best to mitigate the damage as much as possible either through quick use of his medical skills or through his body's natural toughness.
If anything had to be said about Kaze's battle style, it is that he is very adaptable. Though he favors the idea of charging in and keeping himself at melee range, he will not do so if for any reason he suspects that it might be detrimental. Kaze is no stranger to using a kunai, shuriken, or explosive tags. While Kaze isn't a "cheater" he will use his environment and his tools and anything at his disposal to win so long as it's not too underhanded; Kaze is far from chivalrousness.

Hebinoō. Being considered as the King of all Serpents, Hebinoō must strike fear within his foes and as such he carries a daunting and hideous appearance. This wicked beast stretches to an incredible fifty feet in length, easily towering over any human or creature who stands within his path of chaos and destruction. His mesmerising green scaled body can withstand most attacks and even insures safety from aerial attacks, as he features a numerous amount of spikes along his tough spine. The body of the beast unsurprisingly features no battle scars, for he is a foe which is both strong and manoeuvrable during conflict, making him almost impossible to touch.
The foul beast's eyes merge with the shadows, as only his blood red pupils can be distinguished from Hebinoō's jet black eyes. These pair of eyes are usually more than enough to strike fear into his opponents, but if that doesn't, then his exceedingly large jaw with many, many fangs are able to wipe any hope of victory from his enemies. The size of this monsters jaw are even large enough to swallow a human whole, it's said that human children were once a regular snack for the great Serpent King.
Personality:
From birth, Hebinoō received very little care and attention from both his Master and Creator, Suijin. After being thrown out and forgotten in the wild by the one who he once called father, the King of Serpents grew up in a life full of anger, misery and hate. The beast simply looked out for himself and cared little for anyone who was around him. Friends, allies, comrades, these words meant nothing to the monster, all he held dear to him was the idea of pain, destruction and chaos. He wishes for the world to be locked into an eternal war of suffering, for this is only what the monster loves seeing.
He values himself as one of the most important beings on the Earth. Even though he is not human, he is still what some would consider to be a Demi - God. Hebinoō knows of his strength and his unique powers, thus he uses this to fuel his ego and crush any man, woman or child who disrespects him or his power. The Serpent expects to be treated as a King, as an almighty being who humans should worship in order to remain living, any who don't quickly find themselves in the afterlife. Name: Suiryuuben - Water Dragon Whip Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Suiton (Water) Description: This jutsu creates an orb of water from which many sharp whips of water emerge that can be directed towards and impale a target or multiple targets. The whips can also change direction in mid-trajectory, bending to seek out the targets. Because of the hefty chakra control and constant attention required to utilize this technique, it is very difficult to perform. Chakra Cost: 21 (5 per post)
Name: Nōmin no Ōshitsu Shoji - Royal Possession of the Peasant Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Range: - Element: - Description: After gathering the correct amount of chakra, Hebinoō will envelope his entire body with his unique chakra and charge towards his enemy. As the Serpent King comes into contact with his opponent, a black smoke will suddenly disperse around him from all sides, hiding him and his opponent from sight. Hebinoō will then force himself inside of his enemy by turning into a sort of phantom creature, where he then latches onto his opponents chakra source and immediately begin acting as a parasite to his new host. Once Hebinoō has latched on, he will immediately gain control of his opponent. His new host will have their eyes turn black, with their pupils shifting into a blood red. Their voice will adjust to a much deeper tone, similar to that of Hebinoō's voice. A dark blue aura will now wrap itself around the host, signalling the presence of the King of Serpents. Lastly, they will bare a small black tattoo in the shape of Hebinoō somewhere across their body. Defeating the afflicted will free them from the parasite's control, however the parasite will use the last of its chakra to keep their host from dying. The parasite will remain, though it cannot regain control for a good month. Chakra Cost: 25
Host Effects:
- Personality:
Those possessed by Hebinoō are usually brought under his total control, giving them limited or no control over their own body, but with Suijin's shield repressing Hebinoō's power the Serpent King is severely weakened. Despite being weakened his influence is still strong and at times can overcome mortals. Kaze will forever hear Hebinoō's voice in his mind and in moments of emotional weakness or extreme anger he can lose himself to the Serpent King, allowing the creature to take control and exact his will. As Hebinoō is now, he retains none of his abilities listed above and can only work to corrupt the morals, mind, and spirit of the host he is locked within due to Suijin's shield. This can lead to the host eventually becoming evil and selfish if a significant amount of effort isn't exerted by the host or an outside source to stop or slow this process. Even if the host manages to stave off a full blown personality shift, there will always be minor alterations, making the host more aggressive, angry, selfish, and sadistic at times even when Hebinoō isn't exerting effort to take control. The user will also have a strong fondness of water and will immensely enjoy being submerged in water whether they be baths, lakes, oceans, hot springs and the like.
- Knowledge:
While the host has no control over Hebinoō, the Serpent King, can at times choose to share information it may know with the host, things the host might not know. Of course Hebinoō is under no obligation to do so and can remain silent if it chooses to. Depending on the situation and the relationship the host has with Hebinoō the amount of information and how useful it will be will vary.
- Transformation:
When Hebinoō exerts his influence on the host the marking on their chest will begin to spread slowly outward and across the body while causing a burning, crushing pain to the users chest while inflicting a massive headache. The host can try to resist but if the host loses control their eyes will shift to a blood red color and their voice will deepen and their hair may stand on end.

While Hebinoō's chakra is suppressed by the shield of Suijin it cannot add any power to that of the host, but minor quantities that escape the seal can be sensed by sensor ninja. Most sensor ninja will be able to pick up the two different chakras intermingling. This has no practical benefit, but can arouse suspicion if a conscious effort isn't made to try and suppress the minuscule amounts of chakra seaping through the seal.
- Genjutsu:
Due to the host and Hebinoō being two separate entities, the host can allow Hebinoō to take control of their body when in a genjutsu they are unable to escape for whatever reason. This however allows Hebinoō to act without restriction and regaining control of the host's body will be difficult. This should not be used when there are allies around or if the intention is not to kill your opponent.

| THE BACKGROUND.
Early Years
Kaze was the youngest of two boys born to Megumi, a female warrior monk and Kojiro Mikado, a skilled doctor. While the birth itself was uneventful it was the mark of the start of Kaze's life and thus one of the most important days of his life merely due to the fact that it was the day that he came into this world. Megumi and Kojiro were both overjoyed with their new baby boy, while their eldest son quietly stared at the baby with an apathetic expression. As the years marched on, the two boys grew closer despite the age difference and the constant fighting. Kaze always seemed to crave his parent's attention while Kazuke began to develop into a very talented young man. As time passed Kaze began to feel as though he were living within his elder brother's shadow, not seeming to possess the incredible aptitude that allowed Kazuke to excel in almost everything he attempted. This constant feeling of inferiority caused Kaze to act out, craving more and more of his parent's attention, attention which they tried to give. It was, however, very obvious that their eldest son was gifted and thus he needed guidance and attention to help him harness his gifts. It could have very well went that he could have become a talented ninja had it not been for the fact that neither Megumi or Kojiro were ninja nor did they descend from any ninja, both coming from civilian ancestry.Neither held much fondness for the way of the shinobi, despite the fact that they currently lived within Kumogakure. They wanted a better life for their children, one not ruled by battles and one that wasn't a constant struggle between life and death. Both parents had seen their own share of death both inflicted by and to ninja and both carried these scars in their hearts and made no effort to hide their feelings. This was not hate, rather, it was pity and sorrow.
As Kaze grew older he watched as his parents continued to put their energy into Kazuke. The boy learned medicine from his father and learned to fight from his mother, who was a master of the Wind Fang fight style, a martial arts style that was developed in the lands of Kaze no Kuni, the land from where their mother hailed. As such the boy developed a strong body and mind, even learning to manipulate his chakra (which he and his family, including Kaze, called "Ki"). Kaze could only watch as his brother grew and grew while he felt himself being left behind. What was Kaze destined for? Was he to be a simpleton? A nobody? Would he ever be as great as his brother? The younger son struggled with this dilemma for years, constantly trying to find a way to distinguish himself from his brother, to excel at something his brother never had while trying to one up his brother at the same time. Kaze begged both his parents at first to teach him medicine and the Wind Fang style, a request neither obliged. His father said that Kaze was too young to even consider learning medicine while his mother stated that Kaze was not yet disciplined enough nor had enough focus to even attempt learning the Wind Fang style. With a heavy heart Kaze was left to ponder his own existence. In this way, Kaze felt abandoned yet still had a loving and caring family.
Academy Years
It was around the age of 9 years old that Kaze eventually came to a conclusion. His brother had grown strong because of his parents guidance, something that they refused to give him. Without guidance how could he beat his brother? Of course there was one thing that his brother had never even attempted to do. That one thing was becoming a ninja. In fact no one in Kaze's family history had ever walked the path of the shinobi. Surely by becoming a shinobi he could grow strong and by becoming a strong shinobi he would be the first within his family to excel in the ninja arts, something his brother would never do. So with that thought in mind Kaze decided to become a ninja. When he told his parents they were very upset, at first begging the boy to reconsider. When that didn't work they resorted to yelling and trying to force their will upon the younger son. This fight resulted in Kaze storming out of the house, running away from his parents as their voices echoed in the streets, calling for their lost boy to come home.
Hours after the fight, Kaze still hadn't returned, having found an excellent hiding place in the distant training fields of the ninja. Kazuke set out in search of the young boy, eventually finding him curled up in a ball, sobbing to himself. It looked as though Kaze hadn't stopped crying since the fight. It was then that Kazuke did something unexpected. He embraced his younger brother, encouraging the child to follow his dreams no matter what their parents said. It had been the first time in a long time that the two hadn't fought and actually embraced. That night Kazuke carried Kaze home on his back and convinced his parents to allow Kaze to enter the academy. After hours of talking both Megumi and Kojiro listened to their elder son.
It wasn't long before Kaze was enrolled and entered into the academy. It was within the walls of the academy that Kaze's illusion shattered before his eyes. The academy hadn't been what he had imagined. The guidance that Kaze had craved wasn't there, rather it was situated like a normal classroom with him being one of a large group, leaving little one on one instruction. Kaze quickly began to struggle with his studies without someone there to help hold his hand and keep him focused. His home life was no better at this point. While his parents still cared and loved him, a rift had formed between them and their youngest son, always making Kaze feel awkward and as though he had disappointed them by following his dream. Even Kazuke, whom had been so supportive of him before seemed to have forgotten about him, once more becoming distant as he focused on his own studies and pursuits. With no one at home to support his endeavors and no one to really help tutor him in the ninja arts, Kaze felt himself slipping in his studies and eventually fell into a slump, just barely getting by.
Kaze's grades during his academy years were horrible, just above failing in fact, but no one seemed to care and no one seemed to give him trouble about it other than the other students who liked to pick on him for being "stupid". Kaze wasn't very good with ninjutsu, due to him not understanding it very well and genjutsu was almost completely alien to him. Kaze's teacher had refused to even hand the boy any weapons other than basic ninja tools for fear of the boy hurting himself. In the end all the boy was left with were his hands and feet, and even then his skill with those weren't very good. Kaze got into a lot of fights during his days in the academy due to the others picking on him and due to his lack of combat skills he was often beaten up, coming home bruised and bloodied to parents who would patch him up and try to convince him to quit his foolish pursuit.
Finally the day of his final exams came, the exam that would dictate whether he would become a ninja or not. Kaze tried his best to master the techniques that were required of him about two weeks before the exam date, his way of cramming. When the exam came Kaze felt confident that he was ready to ace the exams and show everyone his real potential. However the reality was different from the dream and in the end his performance was pathetic. Indeed, the proctors debated openly whether they should pass the boy or not. Some reasoned that he had potential and that his tenacity was something to be admired. Surely if he was placed on a team with an instructor, he'd grow strong! Others argued that placing him on a team was dangerous as he'd only endanger the others with his sub-par skills. In the end Kaze failed his exams and did not graduate.
The boy was distraught and the walk home was one of the most painful experiences he had ever lived through. As he entered the house it was like any other day. No one bothered to ask him if he had passed or failed. No one cared whether he had succeeded or not. Kaze wanted to cry but he had no one to cry to, no one cared and no one would feel pity for his weakness. With that thought in mind he disappeared into his room for the rest of the night...
A week went by with Kaze constantly practicing his skills with little improvement. It was then that the boy began to truly wonder if he even had the ability to be a ninja. It was during this time of self reflection that one of the instructors from his exam approached him, happening to have spotted the boy in the fields. Right as the man arrived he instantly challenged Kaze to a spar, demanding that Kaze show him the best of his abilities. Predictably Kaze lost horribly against the chuunin and as he lie there on the ground, defeated the man handed him a headband, telling the boy to never give up despite all the hardships he would face. His tenacity and confidence in the face of adversity was his strength and to the chuunin that alone was enough for the man to pass Kaze...
Genin Arc
Kaze's time with as a genin was both short and significant. Upon achieving his new rank Kaze immediately set out to prove himself to both the village and his family. His family were none to pleased with Kaze's growing career, but the boy continued to labor in hopes that one day his family would see how much it meant to him to be a ninja and possibly acknowledge his superiority to his brother in the shinobi arts; then at least Kaze could be better than his older brother in one thing. Of course this did not happen, nor did it seem like Kaze was making very much progress with his aimless training. The boy, though discouraged, continued to work without a sensei to guide him, training himself the best he could while doing as many missions as he could to prove himself all while having his brother teach him basic medicine and medical jutsu in his free time in order to try and make his father and mother proud. During this time he met many different people, many of them significant in their own way, but ultimately some became more important than others.
Kaze's first "friend" was a rather solitary shinobi named Gouka. While Gouka and Kaze didn't get along very well, it didn't take Kaze long to grow attached to the older shinobi, viewing him as both a rival and as the older brother he had wanted for so long. Sadly, these feelings would not be reciprocated by Gouka who only continued to view the younger blonde haired shinobi as nothing more than a nuisance due to Kaze's incompetence. The two spent a good amount of time together but, to Kaze's dismay the two never seemed to click. Despite that however, Kaze learned a lot from Gouka and did his best to try and live up to the older shinobi's standard and better himself and still does in hopes of one day gaining his acceptance. It was Gouka who really showed Kaze the value of hard work and what it meant to be dutiful as a shinobi.
Though Kaze was still learning the ropes, he continued to take mission after mission in hopes of honing his skills, even doing so without thinking of the dangerous situations he could be place in. Of course this caught up with him one day when he was coupled with a tall red head who went by the name of Kirima. The meeting between the two wasn't a pleasant one, with both looking down on one another for their own reasons. It had seemed as though the two would never be friends and would have probably went their seperate ways after the mission, but fate had different plans for the two.
During the mission the two were attacked by a group of three bandits. Kirima quickly dispatched one and pursued the leader as the bandit went after the merchant that the two shinobi had been escorting. In an instant Kaze was left alone with one of the bandit's henchmen. In a moment of sheer luck and determination Kaze managed to defeat his foe, winning by the skin of his teeth. However, the victory resulted in the death of Kaze's opponent, something that Kirima hadn't done with the bandit she had dispatched. Kaze was left in a stunned state, realizing that he had, for the first time, taken a human life. There wasn't time to ponder it, however, as the sound of combat echoed through the area as Kirima and the bandit leader faced off. In a moment of misfortune for Kirima, she was caught off guard and nearly killed. Kaze managed to save the girl at the last minute and in a fit of rage took on the leader, taking full advantage of the injuries Kirima had inflicted on him in their earlier fight. Once again Kaze emerged from the fight victorious, but once again he had been forced to kill another.
That night Kaze's return home was far from pleasant. Kaze retold the events of his mission to his family at the dinner table, only to send his father in a rage at the mention of killing the two bandits. Despite Kaze's objections, his father remained convinced of Kaze's corruption, stating that all ninja were murders and that the idea of having a murderer for a son was too much to bear. Kaze was left speechless and in tears as his father stormed away from the table. Had he chosen the right path?
The next day Kirima found Kaze sitting alone at the training field, sulking and contemplating the events of the previous day. It was then that Kirima and Kaze began to grow close and it didn't take long for the two to become friends. The two soon became inseparable with Kirima not only taking a liking to Kaze but trusting him with her deepest and darkest secret and also enlisting Kaze's help in both training her bijuu powers an event that left Kaze terrified of the prospect of losing Kirima.
As their friendship grew, Kaze began to realize that he didn't just view Kirima as a simple friend, but something much more. However he remained unsure of her true feelings, too shy to breach the issue with a simple question. The boy vowed to himself and to her that he'd do whatever he could to help her achieve her ultimate goals of mastering her terrifying power and finding her parents. If he couldn't express his feelings directly he'd at least work to make her happy.
The next few months were filled with training and combat with Kaze sparring many opponents, and winning his bouts all while growing stronger and more experienced. Things were finally starting to look up for the young shinobi. Kirima and Kaze continued to spend a lot of time together, allowing their bond to grow strong, until the day Kaze was called away on a top secret assignment. Kaze's skills had begun to improve considerably and the higher ups also knew of his relationship with the Bijuu host. Kaze had quickly gone from a nobody to a skilled shinobi of worth. The mission however would not be a happy one.
The mission was to investigate rumors of a legendary weapon hidden in a submerged temple dedicated to Suijon the God of water. A team of two jounin and three genin were sent, with Kaze acting as the medic. It did not take long for things to turn sour however as the team's ship was hit by a massive storm that claimed the life of one of the jounin while throwing the rest into shark infested waters. The team luckily made into the temple, which was protected by a strange barrier that allowed the shinobi to pass through but kept the water out while providing oxygen to the small self-contained ecosystem. Kaze, being the first to breach the barrier quickly opened the temple only to be struck by a strange and malevolent force that proceeded to take control of his body. As a result of Kaze's possession, he was forced to watch himself kill the two other genin who had accompanied him to the temple as the remaining jounin fled. Left alone, the spirit willed Kaze's body to take hold of the legendary weapon. However, the weapon contained a seal which suppressed the demon's power, allowing Kaze to regain control of his body only to have him break down in tears as he wept over the corpses of his fellow shinobi.
A few days passed after the incident, during which Kaze had been kept detained within the confines of the KYOBU security force for observation. When it was finally concluded that Kaze was no longer a threat he was released, only to be given another mission, one that would prove to be much harder than anticipated. What started as a simple search and rescue mission turned into something much more. Accompanying Kaze were two shinobi he had met before. Toyata and Ayashi. Kaze had fought both shinobi before, and claimed victory over both of them, but despite that Kaze knew that Toyata had more experience than him and was the better ninja, while Ayashi was a bit greener than he, or at least seemed so. While Kaze and Toyata got along well, Kaze and Ayashi did not see eye to eye and were nearly at each other's throats for the majority of the mission. It didn't take the three long to get on the trail of the people they were tracking, only to be attacked by a group of bandits. The trio quickly dispatched the group only to split up after interrogating one of them about the whereabouts of those who were lost. Kaze went off on his own while he left Ayashi and Toyata to search for the other lost person.
Kaze quickly found himself in enemy territory where, after infiltrating their camp, found the prisoners to be held. Pressed for time, Kaze staged a break out with the help of an old monk who had studied the same martial arts style as Kaze's mother. Promising to instruct Kaze in the ancient style once everything was finished, the two worked together to help the rest of the captives escape. It was during this time that Kaze found out that the supposed bandits that he had fought earlier were in reality slavers, part of a much larger slave trade that spanned the mountains of Kaminari no Kuni and even reached as far as Fire Country. This information was of vital importance and had to be relayed to the Raikage. As the group of escapees made their way away from the camp, a large hulking man emerged from his tent, threatening to kill everyone in his sight. This man was the leader of this group of slavers. Kaze, knowing that the injured would never be able to escape, stepped forward to confront the large man, instructing the rest to run into the mountains and reunite with Toyata and to deliver the information to him.
Once the escapees had cleared out Kaze and the slaver leader began to do battle. The fight was short with Kaze on the losing end. However, with the use of several explosive tags Kaze created a landslide that tossed both him and the slaver of the edge of a cliff. It was then that Kaze's story should have ended but as fate would have it the boy found himself in the care of the monks of Lightning Mountain. The monks nursed the boy back to health, while helping him gain some control over his personal demons, both those foreign and native. For nearly two weeks the boy spent his time with the monks, regaining his strength while being assumed as dead by the rest of the village. It wasn't until he returned to his village and addressed the Raikage directly did he inform his friends of his return. Calling out for both Gouka and Kirima, he informed them of what happened in the mountains, leaving out the trip to the water country. Kirima became upset over the long absence but quickly forgave him. However Gouka seemed less apt to talk and left without a word.
As luck would have it, the chuunin exams were to be held soon after Kaze's return and as a result he and Kirima had signed up to take the exams. The issue of who would fill the third slot for the team quickly came up but once again fate had a strong hand in Kaze's life. On the morning of the chuunin exams Kaze was startled to hear the familiar voice of Toyata as he called out to Kaze in disbelief, both happy and confused as to how Kaze was still alive. The reunion was short lived as the exam doors opened, signalling the three to enter the building where their fates would forever be changed...
- Roleplay Sample:
Rushing forward the young chuunin could feel his body beginning to ache in pain. His eyes narrowed as his site honed in on their target, a lone "traveler" who had gotten into a conflict with one of the village guards which resulted in the guard's death. Sanjiro had witnessed this act, being on guard duty and had instinctively given chase in an attempt to apprehend this criminal, if such an act could be done. From this distance, about 12 meters between Sanjiro and the criminal, the chuunin could make out the figure clearly. The man was not much older than Sanjiro and possessed a lithe form that allowed him to move both quickly and gracefully. A small grunt of frustration emerged from the young boy's throat as he reached his left hand back and under his jacket, pulling out several shuriken. He launched them forward in hopes of trying to hit the criminal's calves in an attempt to slow the man down. As if the man had predicted this move he turned his head just in time to witness the movement, only to quickly turn around, whipping out his right arm in the process to level a strange looking contraption attached to his arm in Sanjiro's direction. Suddenly several senbon were fired from the device, each senbon aimed perfectly at the projectiles the chuunin had launched. Metal clanged lightly against metal as the projectiles from both parties fell to the ground. Sanjiro came to a skidding stop as he noticed, with the aid of his special vision, that one such senbon was still rushing toward his body. Luckily the young ninja managed to tilt his head to the side just in time to avoid a direct hit, yet the needle scratched his cheek, leaving a sizable gash across the boy's face as he glared at the enemy with his crimson hues.
The criminal had also stopped running, now staring down the young chuunin. For whatever reason the criminal seemed satisfied with the situation, no longer feeling the need to run. Sanjiro took his chance to quickly advance upon his opponent, his hand flying up toward the hilt of his blade as he rushed forward with an amazing and almost incomprehensible speed that left the criminal awestruck as he barely managed to bring up his left hand in time to intercept the incoming blade. The sound of the impact echoed across and around the bridge as the two stood in a dead lock, Sanjiro bearing down on his opponent, using both hands to help provide himself extra leverage while the lithe criminal grunted as he slowly lost ground to the chuunin, his left arm bending to the blade's will. Sanjiro glared at the masked man, only able to see his dark green eyes peeking out from beneath the cloth that covered his face. The next sound that Sanjiro heard was a strange one as whatever the man had managed to block Sanjiro's attack with began to move and churn beneath the man's sleeve. Suddenly a blade erupted from the man's wrist and in an instant Sanjiro saw the man's right arm moving to point the strange senbon launcher in the chuunin's direction. Sanjiro quickly disengaged, pushing backwards as his eyes narrowed, focusing on the man and his strange devices. Several senbon were sent in Sanjiro's direction, forcing the young boy to swing his sword in several quick movements that would serve to deflect the incoming projectiles as he was forced backwards.
The criminal didn't let up though, taking advantage of Sanjiro's back-pedaling, he moved forward thrusting the wrist mounted blade forward in an attempt to gut the young chuunin. Sanjiro, whom barely had enough time to react quickly pivoted to the side, feeling the bite of the man's blade as it slashed his side. The attack however, left the criminal wide open for a counter. This was something that Sanjiro was quick to take advantage of despite his now blurring vision. Sanjiro brought his blade down on the man's right shoulder, the blade cutting cleanly through both flesh a bone, a testament to Sanjiro's swordsmanship, cleaving the arm in its entirety. The man howled in pain but did not let the pain dissuade him from paying Sanjiro back two fold by quickly bringing his wrist mounted blade around, thrusting it forward into Sanjiro's chest. Sanjiro, whom for some reason felt his body becoming sluggish began to ponder as to why he hadn't been able to dodge such a simple and sloppy attack. The wound to his pride felt greater than the wound to his chest and even as he dropped his blade to the ground, staring blankly at the man before him he could only wonder. How? Why? It didn't take him long to realize though as he felt a strange heat radiating through his body, a heat that should, for all intensive purposes, be cooling.
"Poison? Your weapons....poisoned?"
"You figured it out, eh? Too little too late, perhaps if you had been smarter you'd have lived to see another day."
The words stung as Sanjiro felt his breathing starting to become rapid. He was feeling so very weak and woozy as blood rushed for the newly created exit, soaking his dark blue shirt in a brilliant crimson. Sanjiro felt like he couldn't breath yet his arms move up instinctively, his hands wrapping tightly around the forearm of the man before him. The criminal's eyes widened as Sanjiro suddenly began to step backwards, pulling the criminal with him. As it stood both were weak from blood loss due to the quick exchange of fatal blows. The criminal grunted in agony and frustration as he felt his body being pulled with Sanjiro's as the boy backed himself toward the edge of the 3 meter wide bridge, his back now pressed to the waist high railing.
"Perhaps if you were smarter you'd have lived to see another day as well, my friend."
"Let me go you damn bastard! I won't die like you!"
The man cried out in anger as he tried to pull his arm away, the blade however remained firmly embedded in Sanjiro's chest and his grip was like a vice, despite his near death state. Sanjiro chuckled between labored breaths and weak coughs. As their bodies wrestled slightly he noticed the sound of metal hitting the ground next to him. A quick glance toward the ground revealed a bloody headband at his feet, his own headband.
"As good of a memento as any I suppose..."
With that Sanjiro closed his eyes and quickly brought his body backwards, letting his upper body bend backwards as he pulled his injured opponent close, almost in an embrace as they both tumbled backwards over the railing, falling downward as Sanjiro stared dumbly at the sky in his daze, releasing the man while looking up at the sky...

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2

Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. This can be performed with the user's arms or legs and is a simple matter of moving one's blocking limb in such a way to deflect the brunt of the force behind an attack away from the attacker's target while having the chance of creating an opening for a subsequent counter attack. While shadowing his/her opponent, the user will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. If he/she is unable to make a clean strike, he/she will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his/her target's attention and defense to one area. The user can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, the user will deftly rotate his/her body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest. Chakra Cost: 7
Name: Hageshī toppū - Violent Gust Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Range: Close (0m-5m) Element: Fūton Description: One of the basic techniques of the Wind Fang style. The user channels elemental chakra around their striking limb, be it leg or arm and lashes forth. As the user moves they manipulate the air around their striking limb, bringing it to a condensed point around their limb and unleashing it at the apex of the strike, creating a miniature explosion that has enough force to push people off balance or even knock them off their feet. The hit does not need to be direct as the explosion or air expands outward from the striking limb for a 2.5 meter radius in all directions except toward the user. At B rank a direct hit can cause long bones to actually snap while severely damaging and breaking more solid skeletal structures such as the skull or shoulder blades. At B-rank once struck it causes a muscle spasm to where the target can't control that body part for one post and can't effectively use it for one more. At C-rank it causes the afflicted body part to be less responsive to the commands from the brain for one post. For the second post, the body part is number before turning back to normal. Name: Shousen no Jutsu - Mystical Hand Technique Rank: C-A (B) Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Shousen Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands. If the higher the medical ninja's rank is the quicker they are able to heal more critical and serious injuries. Injuries of equal rank may be healed in 1 post, and completely restored in 2. If choosing to heal a wound higher than the rank of the Shousen used, it requires 2 extra post per rank. Thus C-rank Shousen healing an A-rank wound would require 5 posts to fully heal, while a B-rank wound would require 3 posts for instance. If healing a lower-ranked wound with a higher-ranked Shousen, the wound is fully healed in one post as opposed to two. Chakra Cost: C: 8CP (2 per post), B: 12CP (4 per post), A: 20CP (6 per post)

This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Upon exhaling, the toxin is transformed into a gaseous state, and expelled into the air to create a 5 meter radial cloud resembling the characteristics of the poison used, in its gas state. The cloud diffuses through the air into a harmless chemical combination after five posts. The poison must be inhaled for a minimum of 2 posts total to take effect, unless stated otherwise in the poison description itself. The poison used must exist in the user's arsenal and be readily available. The properties of the poison must be stated in conjunction with this jutsu. If the poison has no gas state, or the gas state requires a high boiling point, this technique cannot be used with the corresponding poison. Chakra Cost: 15

The ninja will infuse their chakra into liquid, which they will insert into the patient. They will then use the liquid as a medium to draw out the poison from the cells. This mix can then be removed from the body. Depending on the deadliness of the poison, further treatment with an antidote or medicine may be required. The user, after exhaling a poison mist via Doku Kiri performs the appropriate hand seals to condense said poison mist into a single clone. This clone can act and mimic the user aside from the fact that it cannot utilize techniques above C rank and only possess 20 CP. Upon the user's discretion or a few solid hits the clone will explode, releasing the poisoned gas in a small 'explosion' that encompasses a 5 meter area around the clone's previous positon. The user will charge chakra into their hands and will release it on the enemy’s skin upon touch. The technique will send out a wave of chakra, the damage of which depends on the user’s skill. At C Rank, the wave can cause minor cuts of a twenty centimeter radius on the target’s body. At B Rank, the victim will suffer more serious cuts and wounds (such wounds would cause no serious damage, merely require a minor case of stitches to repair) over 40 cm area of contact of their body. The tomahawk due to its size is able to be wielded with great ease and can be stored quickly. This weapon is versatile in the fact that can be fashioned as a ranged throwing weapon, or for quick close-quarter strikes.
Name: Shield of Suijin Rank: S Type: Exotic Appearance: Shield of Suijin. During times of war or unrest, Suijin would carry about his own special shield in order to protect himself from the other Gods and Goddesses. Though the shield has never seen combat, it does not mean it cannot be used for it. The shield measures a single metre in length, being able to cover most who wield it. The width will stretch to around seventy centimetres, once more protecting those who wield it. The material is quite a rare and precious one, a turtle shell. Though it is no ordinary turtle shell, for it is from the body of Suijin's original turtle creation. It's able to protect the user from almost any sort of attack. Unfortunately the shield is considerable heavy and can easily tire a person by simply carrying it alone. The shield seems almost impossible to destroy, unless it's original creator wishes to do so. Due to the weight of the shield, the user may find themselves staggering at times because of the amount of energy it takes to lift and use. Those with Increased Strength will generally be able to wave off the weight however. Quantity: One Storage: Water Seal has become Altered Seal. A simple storage seal will reside on the users chest, whenever they so choose, they will activate the seal and draw out the Shield of Suijin. Each Seal has a special ability around it, only those who carry the seal are able to use the weapon. So if an enemy were to steal the Shield of Suijin, it would be of no use to them. The only way a seal can be transplanted onto another is by killing the one who bares the mark. Special Abilities: The incredibly strong material of the Shield of Suijin, is able to withstand almost any attack thrown at it. Fire, Earth, Lightning, Water or even Wind, nothing so far has been able to penetrate this superior shield and it's believed nothing ever will. The shield itself is only able to block or deflect C - Rank level physical attacks, though if the user were to place their own chakra within the shield then they would be able to increase it's defense levels so that it could block up to A - Rank attacks. This ability can only be used once per topic, while the chakra cost is always thirty points, no more and no less. The Shield of Suijin doesn't stop there though, for if Suiton based attacks are to hit the shield, then the user will be able to absorb the chakra and replenish their own. If an attack that cost five points to make hit the shield, then the wielder will gain five more chakra points. This will only work though if the user has already used up some chakra. The ability to increase it's strength levels can only be used once per topic, the wielder must be cautious when defending against lightning based attacks. If a Raiton attack levelled at C - Rank were to come into contact with the shield, it would still be able to blast through the shield and possibly hit the wielder away. The shield itself wont be damaged, but the same can't be said for the wielder.

| Alright I'm done and waiting for it to be looked over. This is not a new character but an update for my current character. Rather than placing it in the miscellaneous section, I felt the need to post it here due to the fact that there just isn't enough space on my old application with all these new updates. I felt the need to fragment my profile and style it a bit better so that the problem of space wouldn't arise again (sorry Fox, I stole your style.) Anyway, I will list the changes I made below to help make this easier. I apologize if I happen to miss something in my list.
- Picture has been changed. Same character, but different pic of them.
- Age has been increased by one year as per age block requirement. Character's original age was 13 but as of March 1st his age was supposed to be increased to 14 (this was not done so I did it myself).
- Rank has been appropriately updated to Chuunin.
- Personality and Appearance sections have been altered slightly to correspond with character development, more has been added and some parts have been removed since the last version of this application.
- Combat style has been changed to reflect character's growing experience with combat.
- Hebinoo has been added as a result of the recent "Gifts of the Gods" event. The text is taken directly from the thread in which he was recieved and can be reviewed here. I believe the specific text in question is on page 2 of said topic. I did add an extra section regarding the host, all effects were discussed with Enzo and Darius, so unless I misunderstood something they should all check out. I do request Darius be one of the staffers who check this as he was the one that oversaw the event and talked with me about this specific part.
- History has been updated to include character's genin arc.
- Arsenal section has been updated for asthetic reasons and has also had the Shield of Suijin added to it using the description from here. The only alteration that was made was the addition of a link to the altered seal that stores the shield. This seal was both discussed with Darius and Enzo and even cited in the "Gift of the Gods" thread that took place in Mizu no Kuni (the one that has been linked above).
I believe those are all the changes I made, aside from the aesthetic parts to make it look a bit more organized in my opinion and to prevent from running out of room. I thank all of you for your time and once again I am sorry if this proves to be nuisance. |

| Alright, I went in and touched up the profile, just making sure it looked alright since the new theme on the sight seems to make things go screwy with the coding. | Done, changed the age to 15 and upped his height by an inch. Also, not sure why but every time I go in to edit that post with all the basic info the bullet points from my list delete themselves and I have to manually reenter them. Not sure if anyone knows why. |
