Link to the videos of the leaked episodes. Cannot wait for its official release. :3 Ugggh I'm loving it already.
- Spoiler:
Love the idea of a non-bending antagonist. Dislike there being only two books to this series.

| I am also loving this. It feels true enough to the original (yay) and different enough that it does something new. I did actually feel a little sad that the characters past are more or less done with... for fans of the original, I guess it brings even more to the table.
Anyway. Squeeeeee! Excited. |

| You see, I wasn't too convinced that they were indeed metalbenders, but rather normal police with that particular contraption. They couldn't really metalbend it if I remember correctly. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

| Toph taught her Daughter, Metal Bending, and as the head of the Police Force she taught Metal Bending to the entire force, so yeah, they are metal benders. The room which Korra was held in had doors that had to be metal bended open, and you saw that Toph's Daughter used metal bending to open Korra's cuffs. Also, they were able to use the cables as elevators when they jumped out of the blimp, which wouldn't work unless you could bend them.
Also, not to be a party pooper, but I saw you posted this this morning, but Legend of Korra premiered over the weekend. And there'll be new episodes every Saturday.

| Actually, I think it premiered on the 4th April. I watched it around then... but yeah. There seems to be a two-week break from the 4th 'til the next showing, for some reason! I want it now. *grumpyface* |

| Kuroda, you aren't pooping my party as I saw it a few weeks ago in fact. Cookie Monster can vouch and I know Toph's daughter was a metal bender, but that makes sense the police are too. |

| Double post! Sowweh, I just wanted to express more love for this show. Two more episodes on and the story is going from strength to strength. Love that for all the cartoon-y fun, there's actually a surprisingly deep plot. Far more complex than the original series (which I also loved, but I was younger then). Basically, it's a kids show - for grown ups. Does that make sense? |

Yes, it does make sense Fox. Why do you think adults even consider going to see Pixar films or Dreamworks? Perfect example: Puss in Boots.
But I was and still am a fan of the original series and this new series is yet another step in the right direction for its creators.

| Horyshit. It's absurd how much hate that rich girl Asami is getting right now. Fangirls can be so vicious. |

| I personally don't trust her. At first I thought her father would be some sort of Equalist supporter or something of the sort, but he seems fine. However, I'm still leaning on the idea that she'll be used for a later plot device, such as secretly working for the Equalists or being captured and used as a hostage to lure the Fire Bender bloke and his brother. |

Seriously, Steve Blum's voice acting is the main reason why I already love Amon so much.
Oh, and his Energy Bending is kinda cool too, I guess... |
