That was a pretty boring chapter... Probably wouldn't have killed him to add some proper dialogue. Just... flashbacks. Kinda dull.

Shoulda known it was Obito though, in chapter 475 when Obito fought Danzou's underlings, he did remove his right arm completely when the Aburame bugs infected it, that arm being the one that was crushed by the rocks.

Yeah, this chapter was eh... And the explanation behind all his plans is probably some absolution crap like, 'the shinobi world is so corrupt, that it would turn brothers in arms on one another', so he wants to create a world pure from that evil, hence the never-ending illusion thing. With the whole Itachi and Sasuke love-hate relationship, and the Uchiha massacre, you just know that somehow it's going to involve Sasuke. This is just my personal opinion, even if it is just random speculation. And yes, I still lurk here sometimes...

Mm didn't anyone enjoy the mini-versions and references to all the now-known adult Jounin and Chuunin? Even without 'speech bubbles', I felt like we undiscovered a quite nice 'blob' of a past we previously didn't know much about.

For example, we now know when Kakashi and Gai first became rivals or at least, we can assume that it was during the Chuunin Exams that were shown. That's worthy of a chapter, non? Smile

Even in terms of just his personality, it doesn't make sense. The flashbacks of Obito always made him seem like a happy young lad much like Naruto. How could his mind be so twisted to this? How could he take on the Fourth Hokage only a few years after his supposed death? A reasonable, satisfactory explanation for everything just seems unfathomable. Perhaps we'll finally learn of what happened to Rin, I suspect that might have something to do with it. I guess maybe Madara saved Obito, he came back to realize that Kakashi and Rin had shacked up in his absence and then accepted an offer by Madara to become his student. The real Madara was most likely alive within even maybe the past decade, because a flashback of Itachi and Tobi around the time of the Uchiha massacre revealed a long haired Tobi with a differently designed mask than Obito's Kamui looking one.

The whole eye thing was jacked up every since they said the Sharingan was a branch of the Byukagan.

It was then later down the line the Rikodu Sage gave the Sharingan to his eldest son before the Byukagan even existed.

The chapter was eh, though I find the strings of underwear from my overused boxers to be more interesting.

We know Rin is dead right? Perhaps he induced her death to further his strength perhaps even? And all this negative feedback about the chapter makes it hard to enjoy it. Let's face it; the focus isn't on Naruto or Sasuke, Orochimaru is alive, an Uchiha and former Team Minato member apparently ochestrated an entire plot and probably has some lenthy and interesting tale about himself, the 10 tails thing is drawing to an end, there's still an epic fight with Madara vs the 5 Kage, and then the aftermath.

Undoubtedly, he implanted another Uchiha's eyes into his eye sockets, or had them implanted. His left eye was given to Kakashi and his right smashed so he had to obtain some new one. I believe it was already shown that he has like a bunch of Uchiah bodies laying around somewhere, when it showed he had implanted Itachi's eyes into Sasuke. Plus like someone stated it is possible that Madara had something to do with Obito, so he could have gave him the eyes and took him in and all.
Also I would like to know the full back ground on Zetsu. We know Madara obtained the 1st Hokage's DNA so he could have created Zetsu and Zetsu be the one that aided Obito or something.
Madara hinted that he know the person behind this all so it would make sense for him to have known Obito or Zetsu. Also the rinnegan that Obito claimed to have given Negato was meant to bring back Madara I think so those rinnegan eyes could have actually been the ones Madara achieved before death. Meaning Obito did in fact know Madara and all that bs.
