| Clan Name: (Nameless) Clan Location: Amestris, of another world and Dimension, where chakra is not prominent, but rather Spiritual Energy, the first half of chakra. Clan Traits: Amestrians commonly have Blonde hair and Blue eyes, while Ishbalans always have dark skin and red eyes. Kekkei Genkai: It’s not a bloodline, but rather a simple ability that everyone in Amestris has.
Amestris was an Identical world to The Naruverse, however, instead of ninjutsu developing, The Science of Alchemy did. Because of this, they have a very small amount of chakra, but it is an unnoticeable amount to anyone but a highly advanced sensor. This makes inflicting Genjutsu on them difficult, and anything below C rank will not work on them. At the same time, this makes genjutsu harder to get out of, and they have to use alchemy to entirely deconstruct and reconstruct the little chakra they have, which is physically comparable to running a mile or more, depending on the rank of the genjutsu. Although this seems rather confusing, it is no way conflicting with the naruverse, and will not provide any problems whatsoever.
The Actuality of it All- Although they though Alchemic energy was some sort of magical energy that they had that others didn't, it's actually just pure spiritual energy. By harnessing spiritual energy by itself, they create an energetic circle, allowing them to transmute, to perform alchemy, without losing much energy. However, they do lose some energy, as perpetual motion is not possible. The energy they lose comes from the heat tax of their transmutations. So although the spiritual energy they use comes back to them, with it also comes a huge stamina loss which converts from energy loss. This means that using alchemy wears you out physically, depending on the size and complexity of your transmutation. That being said, someone with large endurance could continue to perform alchemy despite their body being exhausted. However, at the same time, doing so means muscular damage, though Kanima has avoided this so far.
Alchemy consumes stamina in a way similiar to how jutsu consumes chakra. However, it does so in a much more efficient manner. That being said, it's also a lot more sudden. Using a huge transmutation, unlike a huge jutsu, can immediatly exhaust you do to unforeseen rebound. Secret Clan Jutsu: There aren’t any actually jutsu, only the ability to transmute.
Transmutation itself- Transmutation is accomplished by three basic steps. Understanding, Disintegration, Reintegration. Understanding means knowing what the material you are trying to change is (Though a general knowledge can suffice for basic transmutations). This can encompass even a molecular level (changing, for instance, the structure of atoms in a substance to create a state change (Like freezing or boiling water). All alchemists are taught routine science from the begining of their training. They learn to recognize any metal and substance,so they can properly transmute it. There is, actually a transmutation that stops at the first step, understanding. The transmutation gives you the knowledge of whatever it is you attempt to transmute (although this cannot be used directly into disintegration and reintegration). Thusly, if an alchemist didn't know what someting was, they could use this method to find out what it was. Disintegration is the act of decompiling the material you are changing. Disintegration is essentially destroying something. To disintegrate you have to understand what it is. On very simple objexts and items, Disintegration is almost thoughtless, requiring very little effort, and not enough stamina to be noticeable. However, on more advanced objects, such as special weapons with effects, disintegration is more complex, and can take a little bit more stamina than usual. Reintegration is the act of compiling the material you are changing in a way you see fit. This has many meanings. This could be on an atomic level, such as for state or matter changes. It could be the simple rearrangement of the material, such as making a wall of earth.
The last two steps are usually instantaneous, though an alchemist can stop at Decomposition, or even Understanding, without completing the last steps. Types of Transmutations:
Basic: (compared to E-D rank ninja Skills) Simple transmutations, like creating spikes of earth from already existing earth, transmutation is instant. This can also include very basic matter change, like freezing a river.
Molecular Alteration- At the most basic level, there isn't much molecular alteration that can be done, except for energy efficient state changing, such as freezing a river. One other example of this would be super condensing water, and vaporizing it suddenly (on a small scale) producing a medium intensity shockwave. Object Repair- Any small or medium sized object can be repaired at this level, no matter how complex. This could mean a radio, a clock, a weapon, etc. As long as the alchemist has all of the necessary parts, the repair can be done. Object Destruction- At this level, only things that are weapons or smaller can be destroyed instantly, or things that are very simple (Such as walls of earth, water, ice, anything that isn't highly complex). In addition to the destruction of items, there is also the ability to destroy parts of other objects. For instance, faced with a wall, at this level, you could create a hole in it with ease. Weapon Creation- Most basic weapons can be created at this level. This includes swords, spears out of the earth, throwing knives, and other basic weaponry. No extra alchemic effects can be immediately applied to these weapons during creation, at this level. Environmental Manipulation- At the basic level, medium sized walls of earth can be created, or even spikes from the ground. This encompasses all basic manipulation of the area around you. There are far too many examples to list, but a few can include- Creating thin pillars of earth which wrap around your opponent, a metal cage around your opponent, things jutting from walls, floors, or ceilings. If faced with a wall, you could create a doorway in that wall.
Moderate (compared to C rank Ninja Skills): A bit more complicated transmutation, this includes animation of statues, or slight matter change that’s more energy consuming, like the boiling of water. Only 3 moderate Transmutations can be done per post.
Molecular Alteration- At this level, more advanced matter change is available. This can include the animation of statues, or the immediate boiling of water. Additionally, one could condense one element or another in the air, or even combine elements in the air on a somewhat medium scale. Object Repair- Large objects and more complex objects can be repaired at this level. This could include more advanced weaponry, small buildings, etc. Object Destruction- More advanced and larger objects can be destroyed at this level. For instance, one could destroy a small building, or a special weapon. Weapon Creation- More advanced weapons can be created, including weapons with an alchemic effect. Alchemic effects can include strengthened steel by increasing the carbon in it, as well as other combinations. Environmental Manipulation- Your environment is your playground at this level. You aren't as limited in size as you were before. You can create larger spikes, or walls from preexisting matter, and you have a more complex manipulation of the things around you. You could, for instance, create a medium sized, but basic, structure, using this level of alchemy.
Complex: This is the highest of transmutations, and includes highly complex matter changes, as well as gigantic matter arrangement (Like creating an entire building out of already existing earth). This also includes the animation of large objects. This transmutation takes at least 1 post to complete. Only 2 of these transmutations may be used per topic.
Molecular Alteration(comparable to B-S rank ninja skills)- The most advanced of molecular alteration can be achieved at this level. This can include the creation of Plasma, or the combining of elements in the area around you in a great amount. Beyond that, the animation of large statues is possible at this level, as well as the creation of temporary, artificial souls[will be explained in another area] Object Repair- An entire city could be repaired at this level, thus clearly demonstrating the huge amount of energy it would take. Thusly, almost all things can be repaired at this level. (Note, although a city could be repaired, it would entirely drain the person of stamina and force them to overexert themselves, putting them in the hospital for weeks.) Object Destruction- Entire buildings, no matter the size (to an extent) can be destroyed with this level of alchemy. Beyond that, the user could create gigantic craters in the earth, or even disintegrate advanced attacks, such as fire, wind, or lightning. Weapon Creation- Any size weapon can be created at this rank, with any number of alchemic effects. Environmental Manipulation- your environment is your everything at this level. You can more or less exert full control over it (to an extent, without godmodding, or being overpowered).
Meditation: by meditation, one can achieve greater efficiency in the use of spiritual energy. When in a meditative state, the user has an almost limited alchemic efficiency, able to do even complex, and more then complex transmutation without losing much stamina. Meditation is usually only accesible outside of battle, and using it in battle creates only a slight increase in efficiency.
[[Artificial Soul Creation]]] Artificial souls are sort of the equivalent of clones in alchemy. By placing a blood seal on an armor, the user is able to create a fake soul inside that armor. The armor will move and act depending on the soul that was put inside it. There are upsides and downsides to this. The upside to this is that a simple blow to the chest will not make the armor dissapear. A major downside is that the soul is not meant to be on the armor, and thusly it will break within 4posts of being created. Artificial souls can have up to the same proficiency in combat as the user, but cannot use alchemy. The only way to destroy an artificial soul prematurely is to break the blood seal that is located somewhere within it.
There is one more example of soul techniques, although it isn't technically an artificial soul. The user can place part of their own soul inside of a suit of armor (it is limited to one suit of armor, no matter what) and use the suit for travel or for fighting. If the blood seal is removed, the soul will flit back to the user. There are, however, major downsides to this. The first is that the user cannot use alchemy in that form. The second is that there body is entirely unconcious and open to attack when they are in the armor.
The Transmutation Circle- The transmutation circle is what allows Alchemists to perform their great feats.
Basic Transmutation:
Notice a simple circle, with only basic lines and shapes for a construction symbol.
Moderate Transmutation:
Notice a more complex design, with more shapes and lines, and an arcane symbol or two.
Complex:
The Designs for complex circles are much more intrict, and as seen in the first one, might not even be in the immediate form of a circle. They are often filled with arcane symbols, and diagrams.
The circle itself represents the cycling of energy throughout the universe and between dimensions. Every transmutation circle contains a circle(hence the name ). Inside the transmutation circle is several symbols and lines, which is called a Construction symbol. Every transmutation circle contains both of these, without fail.
Tattooed circles Some alchemists have the circles they use tattooed right on their bodies, or have them pre-written. This allows them to transmute without taking the time to draw a circle. You may have a maximum of two tattoos. The Tattoo must have a specific use, such as repair, or creation. That being said, genin may only have basic circles, Chuunin may only have Moderate or Basic, and Jounin may have all levels. when you rank up, you may have your tattoo expanded to the next level, but it's original intent remains the same. In other words, you can't go from creation to repair or from environmental manipulation to molecular manipulation.
The Gate of Truth and Transmutation without a circle- Upon attempting Human transmutation, the alchemist will have three things happen. The first is rebound, which is when part of them is taken away as payment for their attempt at human transmutation. The second is travelling through the gate of truth, which reveals all secrets about alchemy. It is by travelling through the gate of truth that alchemists gain the ability to transmute by simply clapping their hands together. This is because their joined hands become the circle, and their body becomes the construction symbol. The third thing you experience is your failed attempt at a human transmutation. It will be a horrible and disfigured creation that is the direct result of your sin.
The Law of Equivalent Exchange- All Alchemists are bound by a single, almost unbreakable law(I say almost, because of the philosophers stone, which would require immense amounts of dead bodies, and a nation wide transmutation circle, something almost impossible in this world). The law states that you cannot create matter, only change what is already there. “To receive, one must give something of equal value” This is the one and only truth for alchemists.
The Great Taboo- Human transmutation, which namely means the attempt at revival of a human life, is something disallowed in the world of Amestris, simply because it cannot be performed successfully. There has never been an instance of successful human transmutation, and there never will be. When someone attempts Human Transmutation, they always pay a great price. Like Kanima, who had some of her organs removed, or Ed who lost an Arm and leg, and Al, who lost his entire body. The loss is always substantial, as it is rebound for the creation of a soul. You may lose your eyes, a limb, internal organs, or even your entire body, if you're not careful. When you attempt human transmutation, you're thrown through the gate of truth, after meeting God. In the gate of truth, you gain infinite knowledge of alchemy and it's application, making it easier to use alchemy. It's as if chemistry is instilled in your mind. Above that, you're made into a construction symbol, so by joining your hands, you create a circle, allowing you to transmute without a drawn circle.
History: There is no real history as it isn’t a clan, however, I can give the history of Amestris.
Amestris formed several hundred years ago, from the date that Kanima travelled to this world. Before Amestris there was a great kingdom ruled by the King Xerxes. Xerxes was a great and powerful king, but was growing old, and thusly sought immortality. At the same time, the was a young slave, Number 23, who met the very first homunculus, who was trapped inside a flask. The Homunculus gave Slave 23 the knowledge to be free, and to learn the great powers of alchemy. At the same time, the Homunculus gave him the name “Van Hoenheim”. After becoming a great alchemist, Hoenhiem and the Homunculus were summoned by Xerxes to show him the way to immortality. The Homunculus revealed that it truly was possible, but to do it, Xerxes would have to have 5 of his villages slaughtered, and an entire transmutation circle drawn across the whole country. He did this by hiring bandits to slaughter the villages, and created the transmutation circle by telling his people that they were irrigation ditches, making him seem like a great leader, looking out for his people. The Homunculus told Xerxes that if he stood at the center of the transmutation circle, he would be fine from any rebound of the transmutation. Xerxes thought this meant his castle, but when he activated the transmutation, everyone left in his entire kingdom was destroyed, except for Hoenhiem, and the Homunculus, who were standing at the exact center of the circle. As the transmutation circle finished its course, the result were two immortal beings. Hoenhiem, and the Homunculus, who used the blood that was originally taken from Hoenhiem, to form a body which was identical to Hoenhiem. From this point, Hoenhiem was devastated to find everyone in the country killed, and left to travel the rest of the world.
During the time of his travelling, the Homunculus, Pride, had created Amestris with the people in an unsettled part of the world. After several hundred years Amestris developed into a great and prospering country. The economy had stabilized, and Alchemy had taken over as a driving factor of humanity. There were independent alchemists throughout the country, but there was also a highly organized group of “state alchemists” These alchemists had individual skills. After a while, the State Alchemists changed from a group of prestige to lackeys of the military who did the dirty work.
Amestris is a great and powerful country about 200 years before Kanima was born, and borders several other countries to its sides. To the East of Amestris, is the region of Xing, though a desert separates the two(Strangely enough, in this desert is the remains of Xerxes’ kingdom). In Xing is a fabled “Eastern alchemy” which is very different from Amestrian alchemy. To the west of Amestris was the country of Ishbala, which was exterminated, as part of a recreation of the Xerxes extermination. So far, 4 of 5 spots on the transmutation circle had been exterminated, mimicking the slaughter of Xerxes. The Final place to be slaughtered was Briggs, a military outpost to the north of Amestris, which protected Amestris from the Drachman. Before any of that had happened, a major step had been taken by The First Homunculus. After many experiments, he created the first human homunculus, one that aged. This homunculus, Pride, became the Fuhrer, or king/president, of Amestris, and allowed The First Homunculus to exert complete control of the country. During this time, many other Homunculus had been made to do The First Homunculus’ dirty work. They were all named after deadly sins, and their bodies usually mimicked their sins. These Homunculus were very powerful, but even a few of them had been killed.

| For a clan trait, lets make this really easy, you have minimal chakra, which I'll get to later on, but you still need an energy source to consume similar to chakra for a ninja to keep you on par with them and still functioning on the forum with other ninja. You've used stamina, but you haven't made that clear, I just noticed that you did, so you should make it a special characteristic that Alchemy consumes stamina at a level similar to chakra. It makes things really easy to transition.
Then you can put each form of alchemy into a jutsu template, and provide an example of how much stamina is consumed for manipulating how much matter. I realize that the matter is changed from state A to state B, but that consumes your stamina, so defining how much 'transfer' is equivalent to how much 'stamina loss' would make you more comparable to a forum ninja.

I think thats the general idea you were going for here, but you could do it a lot fewer words and this should be up at the top of the app since its a vital part of the clan that should be read before anything else.

Just say its a distant land in which the use of ninja techniques were not developed, thus the chakra system dwindled due to inactivity. Another world is just extra complication, and then it raises questions that shouldn't be asked about the naruto universe within it (like the fourth wall, lets leave that in tact please.)
You use a lot of segmenting parts, but you should bold them and code them so that they're more defined, it looks like a formless blob as it is. Bold em, center em, size em up, make it all nice and fancy if you can, it looks better and its easier to read. You don't have to, but its a nice touch.
Once this stuffs all fiddled with we can move onto the technical stuff. |

For your fundamental parts of alchemy, not everybody has an understanding of the FMA universe so each part needs its own paragraph of explanation. General Knowledge, detail the things most alchemists know how to do, how they learn, why they learn it, how they apply it, etc.
For Decomposition, you need to give some examples, the principles behind them, etc.
Same for Reintegration.
Each level of alchemy needs a maximum of what it can do, and please put more details in general. Basic Alchemy can do a lot of things, and at minimum at least provide an explaination of some basic uses for each level like:
Molecular Alteration Object Repair Object Destruction Weapon Creation Environmental Manipulation
Five broad categories, three levels, give at least a well written sentence for each. I'd ask for a paragraph but that would get time consuming and I don't think you could go on about clock repair for a paragraph.
For the Transmutation Circle, you state that its used for alchemy, which most people grasp, but you fail to provide a time period for how long they take to set up, what they're usually set up with (ex. chalk lines), and the fact that complex circles are needed for more complex alchemy, as I understand it. An example of three circles, for each of the described levels of alchemy, would be highly appropriate.
You can put more detail into Human Transmutation, like a trip to see The Truth, whats created, etc. Also put some requirements, like, for starters, having this in your history requires X amount of words and must be a seperate arc. Doing this in a topic requires X amount of words. Human Trasmutation creates a monster that hunts down the user forever afterwards (not an actual side effect, though its somewhat true and would be fitting).
Also, be sure to put in the information that the loss is ALWAYS substantial. Losing your pinky toe will no qualify you for circle-less Alchemy, be clear about that. You state 'a great price' but thats rather subjective, give some examples of what DOESN'T qualify. You should also state that the loss is relevant to the person, very relevant (Don't want to discuss spoilers...) |

| For Tattoo'd Circles, just add in that they have to be specific, as Scar is only able to destroy inorganics with one arm, and organics with the other, and so far he's only shown basic alchemy with his tattoo additions. You should also add a rank limitation for the rank of circle allowed (Ex. Genin shouldn't be running around with Advanced Alchemical Circles.) |
