The Haiton element is a combination of fire and wind, that like its cousin elements, smoke, roast, and many other fire/wind combinations, deal with controlling the power of fire for very specific techniques. First of all, the Haiton element is the control and manipulation of Ash, NOT fire. Unlike sand that can be used to form powerful defenses, the ash element has very few defensive qualities besides overwhelming offense.

Ash has the ability to make powerful obsidian blades and cut objects that they have come in contact with. (thus the wind affinity). Clouds of Ash, thus, might as well be the bladed weapon of the user. Unlike Smoke, however, ash settles quickly; not lingering in areas. In most cases, Ash generating techniques will fall to the ground within a single post of use. Ash and Fire techniques can be used together to amplify the power of the an Ash technique.

Another Important fact about the users of this clan, is that if they have the Ash element, they lack the ability to use their wind based jutsu. Essentially, the Ash element is so dominant with the fire element that wind becomes 'canceled out'. Thus, Ash and Fire are the only two elemental affinities one can manifest.

Surprisingly, the Ash element has little capability to burn without beind combined with a fire technique. The majority of Ash element tech are made to capture then slice up opponents with a multitude of obsidian blades. The best and most efficient way to normally evade this, is by preventing ones self from being touched by the Ash one controls. The other major weakness of the Ash element is the water element. Water element techniques are considered completely dominant over Ash, and a water technique 2 ranks bellow any given rank of an Ash technique can be made formidable.

Description: This is a technique that acts as a physical barrier by the process of 'offense > defense'. One will cause existing ash to swirl up and about themselves with the needed hand signs. Anything that comes in contact with the ash will be cut like a blender as the ash swirls about he user. Most ranged physical weapons will also be deflected such as kunai or shuriken, however concussive forces like explosions or shockwaves, and most ranged ninjutsu B-ranked or better can best this offensive shield. If one touches their own technique, they too will be cut as a result.

Description: This is a technique in which the user will form four hand signs, inhaling deeply before exhaling a large wave of smoke that quickly takes the form of a serpentine dragon; targetting the opponent in an attempt to both hit them with a massive amount of Ash and envelope them. The Dragons body can cut just about anything it comes in contact with; however hard rock materials and nearly all metals will provide shelter from the attack. Like most techniques involving dragons, by holding the last hand sign, one can control the path of the dragon like projectile.

Description: A powerful, duel pronged technique in which one will create an earth shaking explosion with both fire and ash elements. By forming the needed six hand signs and then forming Ash Element chakra in one hand and Fire element chakra in the other, they can bring the two together with the meeting of the palms, causing their body to essentially overheat at an instant and in a chain reaction creating an explosion about ones self that can cover a 70meter radius, assimilating the entire area in a cloud of molten hot ash, burning everything down to cinders. The users own chakra becomes a buffer of the technique, draining 25% of their energy to protect themselves from the resulting eruption of incinerating Ash, however even then, their skin may suffer from multitude of 3rd degree burns that cripple the user.

History: The history of the Nenshou clan is perhaps one of the most well hidden secrets in the era of the shinobi. Long before the formation of the hidden villages, as only clans and their followers existed, the Senju and Uchiha clans fought endlessly as the two main powers of a majority of territory that now makes up Fire Country. However, in a classic story of Romeo and Juliet, a female of the Uchiha and a Male of the Senju fell tragically in love. As a result, the two had to live secret lives; two painsteaking years of deceit and love before the two bore a child. It wasn't too long until the father of the child was discovered by the Uchiha, and even sooner that the Senju discovered the secret affair, as a result, they were banished in a joint effor of hatred, only three years before the treaty and formation of Konohagakure.

They were banished to a small island in the south-west, modern day Kirigakure, and surprisingly, their child had a power far different then the both of them. It had seemed that the fires of the Uchiha clan and the Wood of the Senju, had come together to form the element known as 'Ash'. At the cost of the powerful doujutsu, the clan was born out of this forbidden love. It wasn't too long until the small coastal village that made up their clan and their followers were approached by those of Kirigakure to discuss ideals of treats in the name of fending off the approaching civil war. It was a situation in which they had to either fight, or be considered the enemy by all sides. Having to choose between a life of threat and a life of violence, the clan decided to take up arms in the war. After the death of the second Mizukage; the success in overthrowing the government, and the beginning of the bloody era that was to come, the Nenshou clan had it's position in the nation secured.

It was all history form there on. The original Senju and Uchiha eventually passed of old age, and there was an aggressive effort to increase the military arsenal of the members of the clan. After all, they were in a water country with an weapon that had a potent weakness to water. The result was a secret clan jutsu that would make them a powerful threat; however more individuals died in attempt to master the technique then could actually render it's power. As a result, it was considered forbidden for use by anyone but the most accomplished elders...

Oh very nice. Very nice.

Now you don't have to do anything special to create the ash or you can just 'summon' it in a sense.

Also I assume there will be more jutsu?

Obsidian Razor - So the ash has to already be on the person? Just clarification for me.

Absolute Funnel of Powdered Blades - Its a funnel upwards of ash, can you attack from it? I mean if you do I see you getting hurt but I like clarification lol.

So you use only 20% of your chakra or 20% in addition to the chakra to preform?

Those three were just examples of its use; people will be able to make their own jutsu as they like within' the ash elements capabilities.

-Yes, it must already be on a person.
-You cold technically attack from it, but you would be unable to see from inside of the ash and would damage yourself as a result. It most likely wouldn't be worth it.
-20% additional, added on to the S-ranked chakra drain cost.

More than 20% with an area of effect that big. Also you can't be completely unaffected. In most cases this would be allowed strictly as sacrificial but add to the drawbacks and I'll give the okay.

Anymore chakra burned with this technique and I wouldn't be able to use anything BUT it in a thread. That 25% is ON TOP of the S-ranked cost, making it well over half of my chakra to use...
