| Several days had passed since Hani left, and Yoroi had been left in the village to wait for her return. He had grown bored of training, and it was for that reason that he had been trying to take a different approach to things. Believing that something bad might have happened to Hani, he had been trying to do meditation, trying to push the bad thoughts out of his head, though this in itself was one of the hardest things he could do. No one had been able of telling him anything about where she had been sent to, and people constantly acted like their noses were bleeding, leading him to believe that she had been sent on a particularly dangerous mission for the sake of the village, which was why he was not allowed to come with her. He hated having to wait, for he had been with her constantly, even since he had left the forest in order to live with her, becoming her self proclaimed guardian. With all of the pressure of his abandonment issues weighing down on him, paired with the thoughts of her dying without him being there to help her was enough to break even his immensely powerful bones beneath it, which was the indicator for him to start this meditation thing as soon as possible, so he could keep himself from doing anything stupid. He was the kind of person that would walk into a place like the Hokage’s office, simply demanding that he’d tell him what had happened, and why Hani had been sent away just like that. He never really thought about the things that could happen to him, for he took to living in the moment, and at the moment, he was afraid that something had happened to his friend.
Trying to shake the thought from his head, he looked around to see if he could find a place that was less crowded. Wandering to a more secluded part of the village, he found a nice place that would be perfect for what he was trying to do. The sounds of birds was the only thing the place had an abundance of, rather then screaming and yelling of the humans in the more active part of Konohagakure. Hoping that it would be worth the trouble, he sat down and crossed his legs, closing his eyes and trying to shut down his senses as much as possible. For a while, Yoroi felt no different then he did at first, feeling the slight agitation inside of him for not getting the results he so desired to get by now. One could not simply calm down by closing their mind from outside influences and shutting down most of their senses for some sort of nirvana-esque feeling. It did not work for him, and he most likely would be stuck with the feeling of helplessness for quite some time, either until Hani came back, or until he would finally forget about her, which would most likely never happen. Maybe it was not the conventional type of meditation that would work for him, meaning he would have to figure out another way of closing himself from the outside, and focusing on something inside of him in the process. In the past, focusing on himself and his chakra was a good way to distract himself from what was happening around him, which might just be worth trying out now.
Deciding to try something else, Yoroi started focusing on his chakra circulation, closing his eyes and putting his focus solely on the energy inside of his body. Feeling his chakra flow freely through his body, he felt much more calm, and felt like his entire body had reached the point where it was incredibly calm, and he forgot everything that was currently happening around him. In his mind, he could see his chakra flow about, though he most likely just imagined it. Continuing to circulate the chakra through his body, time went by much faster then he himself realized. When he believed that a good thirty minutes had passed, he had in fact been sitting on his ass for over three hours, and it had already been getting dark. As he got up, Yoroi felt different, almost as if he had somehow generated more space to increase his energy. All together, this exercise was something he would start doing every day from now on, even if Hani came back. It was through things like these that Yoroi came to realize that there were other methods of strengthening someone, not actually having to physically strain his body in order to increase his own power. With satisfaction and hunger inside his stomach, Yoroi started walking back to the shack he had been living in for the last couple of days, the place between nature and civilization, the place he would stay at until Hani would come back to pick him up.
