| - Spoiler:
Name: Ninpou; Kirigakure no Jutsu - Hidden Mist Jutsu Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Element: Suiton Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m~10m), Far (10m+) Village: Kirigakure Description: This jutsu is developed and trained within Kirigakure as a village specific jutsu. After forming the needed hand seal, the user will place their hand over their head and cause a large amount of mist to gather. This mist is extremely difficult to see through from someone not of Kirigakure, who are used to looking through heavy mists, and are more able to do combat while within said mist. The jutsu involves kneading chakra into the mist, allowing the user to create extremely thick or thin levels of mist; this mist will last five posts, ending at the beginning of the sixth post (of the user). This time limit does not include the post that it was activated in. Chakra Cost: 4
Name: Kumogakure no Jutsu - Hidden Cloud Technique Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0 - 5m), Med (5 - 10m) Element: - Description: Kumogakure no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilizing no element. A technique that imitates that of the Kirigakure no Jutsu, once the user has performed the required handseals they will be able to call upon a thick and heavy cloud that will appear almost out of nowhere. The cloud will be able to cover a ten metre radius around the user and only the user is able to sense where others lurk within the cloud. Those with doujutsu or chakra sensing techniques are also able to see through this thick cloud but without any aid, then you'll be blind within the cloud. If a C - Rank or above fuuton technique is activated, then the cloud will be blown away. Chakra Cost: 4
Two virtually identical jutsu, with more or less the same effect and the same usage. I just think it's worth noting though, that while the Kirigakure version has a set limit (six posts), the Kumo version is either a one-post deal, or virtually endless until someone blows it away. Perhaps this should be specified, as it was with the Kiri version? |

| One major difference between the two, beyond duration, is the area affected. Cloud is limited to 10 meters, while Mist reaches out much further. |

Besides the difference in size, I also want to point out that with Chakra you can pretty much control the Kiri one as you please, it uses an element and I figure it's easier therefore to mix a Suiton jutsu within it to the user's advantage, the Kumo user is pretty much blinded also inside of his cloud even if he can 'sense' the others who are within it (doesn't mean he could see a projectile coming his way) while the Kiri users can see in their mist from what I gather. |

| Again,my main point of contention is that it isn't clear how LONG the Kumo version lasts. |

| I don't know why the mist jutsu has a time limit. |

| From the way the Kumo one is described I'd assume it lasts around until it gets blown away. And my only guess with the Kiri being limited to a certain time is because of it's usage within an element? It's easy for whatever Kiri to assassinated someone else within it, while it is a bit more difficult to operate within the Kumo cloud. |

The Kumo one has a sensory element for the user. |

| And you can both see and sense and battle normally within the Kiri one. |

| The kiri jutsu were recently updated, however it doesn't appear as though the Hidden Mist Jutsu wasn't changed at all during the update, I will bring this topic to the attention of CleverYamanaka to get his thoughts on the matter so that we could possibly solve this topic some time soon. |

| If it is needed, I can remove the duration time limit on the mist one, and therefore make it timeless as it is with the Kumo one.
Or the Kumo one can add a time limit. |

| Why don't we sort of meet in the middle, we edit the post limit on the kiri one so that the chakra cost must be repaid after six posts and add that same clause to the Kumo one. |

| These should be the same technique with a different gimmick, that gimmick being whether it's clouds or mist. That's all it comes down too.

| By editing them both to have the same effect and same duration and same area of effect and same rank, but different methods. |

The Kiri version makes them surrounded by water so they should have slightly more powerful Jutsu or whatever since they are literally surrounded by water but they can't sense things within their cloud and thus rely on their eyesight since they are used to looking through think clouds of mist in their village. The Kumogakure one should have the sensory effect without hampering eyesight but no added bonus to Jutsu and whateva
Give no fucks, gave my input. PEACE OUT.

| Both clouds and mist are water in their own respect, xek. It shouldn't be more powerful one way or the other.

| I think you need to mention the area the cloud/mist can cover, that it can be blown away by C+ Rank Fuuton ninjutsu and on the Kumogakure one you put someone not from Kumogakure, rather than Kirigakure. :3 |
