| The cluster of buildings that line the street of crowded Kiri does not lend itself well to weapons practice. Across the whole landscape, really, only a few good places existed where one could practice, without worry of interruption. From the beasts in the forests and marshlands, to the every day hustle and bustle of the city, there were few calm and quiet clearings.
Of the handful that existed, Saya had long since found most of them. Just to the south of the marketplace lay a large open lot, the remnants of a building that had burnt down a decade ago. Over time it had been forgotten, and never rebuilt upon. The foundation was slightly over grown with weeds and the odd sprouting tree at its border, but was otherwise just a great flat solid surface.
Off to one side of the slab of concrete Saya had been practicing. She’d arrived earlier in the morning, and had set from that point on to practicing. It was well past noon, already and her armor and weapons had been set aside. She was sweating up a storm, soaking her loose purple robes as she works. In her hands were a pair of short swords that she’d recently purchased, and added into her everyday workout.
The swords were of solid design, built more for their durability than their sharpness. They were mostly useless for slashing due to the straight blade design, but the sharp points worked well enough to stabbing. Their main benefit was the hook shaped cross guards that sat below the blades, protecting the hands from harm. They were exaggerated and long, curving inwards to assist in the art of capturing an incoming sword.
Saya was holding one in each hand, and slashing seemingly at random. In her mind she could imagine enemies to fight easily enough. Across the cement she ducked and leapt, dashed and spun, swinging the blades about gracefully, to better get a feel for them. The oddest thing about her fighting, however, was certainly the speed with which she fought.
Like some sort of sloth, her arms track dreadfully slowly through the air. Each swing of her arm is tiring and slow, possibly because she’d been working for so long. Looking at the short swords she’s holding, though, it could seem as though even a child could swing them faster. In reality, attached to her wrists was a strong pair of leather wrapped bracers. The inside of each bracer was full of extra weight, slowing her down dramatically. The benefits of the weights, however, made even this mild practice with her swords much more effective.
Effective as it is, it is also exhausting. After the sun finally began to creep lower in the sky, Saya finally permits herself a break. With ease and power she releases the shorts swords mid swing. Each blade flies end over end until they each land blade first in different trees. Exhausted, Saya collapses on the spot and lies down on her back. She stares up at the sky while she rests, breathing quite heavily as she does. It’s only be about twenty minutes before she went back to action again, but for now she simply lies there. |

| The world was slowly, but drastically changing. Everywhere you looked, new nations were giving birth, and more shinobi were brought into the world. Newer jutsu were introduced, and legends were brought from their graves back onto the surface of the living world. All of this happened while Kirigakure sat peacefully in the ocean, as its horizon was the coasts of the neighboring nations that could soon, one day, turn against Kiri. Maybe even each other. War seemed inevitable these days, as nations grew greedy and smug of power. As kages became more powerful as they learned more about the world around them. Soon, that greed could cause a war that will effect all shinobi. Hyuuga, Demo; a Jounin of Kirigakure, was not going to sit by while Kiri waded in the newly developing world.
The morning was just as it always was. Gloomy, wet, and peaceful. This was a normal morning in Kirigakure, as the village was known for its misty, rainy, and cloudy weather. Demo was awaken by a small dog barking that belonged to his neighbor next door, but he was used to the dog barking as it basically was his alarm clock. However, he had to wake up early today, as he was going to go relax come the afternoon during the small storm to come in soon. He put on his Jounin jacket, secured his weapon pouches and went on his merry way. By time he was done making sure no one needed help in the village, it would be around twelve o'clock in the evening.
As Demo walked around the village to see if anyone needed help, he noticed in the far off distance that large black clouds were rolling in to bring forth a powerful storm onto Kirigakure. As he watched the clouds pile over one another, he thought about how the sky would be stained with black blood as it roared through the heavens above. It was seconds later that a streak of lightning struck the forest that surrounded Kiri, catching a small tree aflame, but as quick as the lightning struck it, it was charred. Leaves, caught on fire withered on the ground as they were scorched by the intense flames until they were black. Could this be a omen? After standing there for a few moments, he decided to go take a brake and watch the younger ninja trained. As he walked into the training grounds, he saw something impressive.
A girl was training and she did have skill. The girl had skills that fit that of a Chuunin, and that was what this village needed. Chuunin. Demo smiled and went up to the girl and sat down on the grass beside here and said in a very soft voice, with the softest fast that one could fine comfort in and said, "Hello, I'm Hyuuga, Demo. Who may you be?" His face was nothing like his Kage's, nothing like the stereotypes put on ninja in Kiri. He truly was a genuine, and good-hearted ninja. |

| Saya hopped up pretty quickly when she heard a voice, a bit surprised she hadn't heard him approach. Of course, Saya was day dreaming just a little. She stands up straight and turns to face the Hyuuga. In spite of the apparent exhaustion, and the fact that she has worked up quite a sweat, she is seemingly full of energy all the sudden. She stands easily, as though she had rested for hours. Really, even a few moments was just slacking, for those of her family.
She gives a quick glance around before speaking, ensuring no others had followed him here. The area wasn't exactly top secret, but she preferred it's previous privacy. Her right hand rests naturally on the handle of her sword. "I am Saru Saya, an Ashigaru soldier. I've been practicing here all day, so I hope you don't plan on trying to run me off. I'm not done just yet." she says rather plainly, with little emotion in her voice. Her gaze is just as cold, her dull blue eyes watching each of his movements. She couldn't see the chakra network, but she could still tell plenty by watching him.
Seated as he was, he was obviously no threat. He was acting nice, but Saya knew better. Kiri wasn't full of nice people. Everyone knows the name Hyuuga, so the rest of the assuming goes without saying. The katana at her hip seemed quite plain, just a silk bound handle, and a polished black scabbard. Beyond the sword, the girl was armed with a surprising number of weapons. Kunai and shuriken were attached to strips of cloth on her legs, and a length of coiled up chain hung from right hip. She has knives and a chain, weighted ropes, and a pouch filled with explosive tags. |

| Demo sat there, as he watched her quickly perk up as if her body had been filled with life. He saw here give a quick glance around as she seemed to scan the area. Demo tipped his head in interest to what she was doing. He looked at her however, with his soft eyes much more. Nor was this an act of kindness, but who he was. Brushed himself off as he got up. As he got up however, she seemed to have her hand rested on her sword's handle.
As Demo went to give the young girl a courteous hand shake, she spoke; "I am Saru Saya, an Ashigaru soldier. I've been practicing here all day, so I hope you don't plan on trying to run me off. I'm not done just yet." Demo smiled, full of laughter it seemed and said, "Oh no, no. I was just actually coming over to compliment your training. You have skills that a chuunin would possess, which I think that you will become a fine Jounin like myself when you get up there. Which, I'm sure you will." he said as he smiled with more kindness in his face. You could find no hint of acting, as it wasn't an act he was displaying. Demo was naturally like this, the opposite of what lurked deep, deep down inside him that he knew would resurface someday.
After just a few minutes, Demo spoke again. "So, Ashigaru eh? Where is that at and what is it?" he said, full of interest. He again, plopped down on the ground and pulled out some candy and offered it to here as he continued to speak, "I hope you don't think that just because I come from probably the most unkind clan, that you expected me to be snooty or something" he said laughing. "Once you get to know me, I'm a really fun, guy." he said as he pulled out two small cups, giving one to Saya. "That's for the candy!" he said with a smile. His eyes then looked down to the ground and then he looked back up and asked yet, another question. "After we talk some, if you want to talk some that is. Would you like to see my summon? He is very friendly, I'm sure he'd be glad to meet you." he said in a very cheerful tone as he crossed his legs to listen to the girl that he hope would respond to him. |

| Saya blinks just a little bit, confusion becoming readily apparent on her face. Candy? "The Ashigaru Clan holds a large castle in the land of Fire. We're a brave and honorable family of soldiers, which have no peer in all the lands. We have fought in every war since the beginning of time." she adds with a nod, as if to ensure the questionable fact was indeed true. "We're all masters of every weapon, and a family you don't want to be on the wrong side of. Lucky for the world, we don't plan on expanding our empire. Instead they send people like me, to fight in Kiri's war."
Still confused, she tries to make sense of the situation. A jonin just offered her candy, and wants to show off his summon? This was all certainly not what she expected out of her afternoon. She shakes his hand willingly enough, though her hand returns to her sword when she's done. It's nothing threatening, just how she stands. Ashigaru are always on duty. Though she is ready to draw her blade, she has no intention of doing so. Fighting a Jonin, esspecialy while weighed down as much as she is, would be a ridiculous idea.
"I am sorry, but I am not really fond of sweets. I was in the middle of training, but I guess I can talk for a little while. If you want to show me your summon, I suppose I can not stop you. Just don't let it get in my way. As I said, I still have a lot of work to do, and don't have time for fun and games.." she says quite plainly. Emotion still lacks in her voice. |

| Demo looked at her after offering candy, she looked surprised and without reaching for it, she spoke. "The Ashigaru Clan holds a large castle in the land of Fire. We're a brave and honorable family of soldiers, which have no peer in all the lands. We have fought in every war since the beginning of time, we're all masters of every weapon, and a family you don't want to be on the wrong side of. Lucky for the world, we don't plan on expanding our empire. Instead they send people like me, to fight in Kiri's war." Demo stared at her for a second, quite interested. During her explanation of the Ashigaru, she nodded as if trying to improvise something. Demo smiled and replied, "I see, so your ancestors come from Fire Country too? Interesting, as you know, mine do too." he said cheerfully, as if he had met someone that he knew from long ago.
She seemed to pause for a second, as if she were thinking in her head. Demo kept looking at her a little curious as to what is was she could be thinking, feeling, or observing. It was then however, that she shook his hand and returned it to her blade. "Does she think....I"m going to hurt her...?" he asked himself with his face as innocent as a small child. He looked up to her as he heard more words flow out of her mouth, "I am sorry, but I am not really fond of sweets. I was in the middle of training, but I guess I can talk for a little while. If you want to show me your summon, I suppose I can not stop you. Just don't let it get in my way. As I said, I still have a lot of work to do, and don't have time for fun and games.." Demo looked at her, retreating the treats he offered into his mouth. "Very well then, it is nice we can talk for awhile. Your a really interesting young kunoichi, as we both come from the same part of the world." he said and then looked down. "As you can see, I'm not like the ninja around here to much. I feel as if this village could be something of beauty, known for its water, not the blood shed. That this village could be lead into glory by a wise, thoughtful, and kind leader." he said as if he were trying to confirm to her that he was not who she thought he was, a murderer. "After just talking to you, I feel as if you feel a bit uneasy towards me. So if I may ask, how do you feel?" he said looking at her with a smile, not the one of just some friendly stranger, but like that a father gave to his son. More so, the kind of smile a teacher gave to their student that they were proud of. |

| "I am afraid I have no idea what you are talking about. Known for it's beauty and water? Kiri is a swamp, surrounded by monsters. I do not think tourism is the way of Kiri's future. You do not worry me, Hyuuga Demo, you confuse me. I live to fight. I do not live to spread beauty. My only art is that of the sword. I am in this village to wage war on all of it's enemies." She says calmly, still displaying little emotion in her voice. Even her eyes remain steadily trained on Demo, wondering just what he was up too.
"If you are speaking of working against the Mizukage, I am afraid you are talking to the wrong shinobi. Whether I like it or not, I am loyal to Kirigakure, and it is as simple as that. Those who work against the Mizukage threaten the stability of the village, and are my enemy." she continues, addressing him in a slow and clear voice. "I am simply a tool used to dispatch my lord's enemies. You are the same. You should not delude yourself with worries such as culture, or art. Kiri ninja should show strength, and honor, not be lax in their training, and aloof to the war being waged between the villages."
"I must ask that you get to the point. I have little need for casual conversation, nor wasting my time with talk of rebellion. If the only reason you have come is to see about my feelings, I am afraid you will only wind up disappointed. I am a soldier. I only feel like waging war. Give me an enemy, and I will defeat them. Otherwise, just leave me to my training." |

| Demo then heard something from the girl that he did not expect. She said, in what seemed to be a rebellious tone, "I am afraid I have no idea what you are talking about. Known for it's beauty and water? Kiri is a swamp, surrounded by monsters. I do not think tourism is the way of Kiri's future. You do not worry me, Hyuuga Demo, you confuse me. I live to fight. I do not live to spread beauty. My only art is that of the sword. I am in this village to wage war on all of it's enemies." Demo stared at her as she finished, looking at her, he calmly replied with a small hint of cheerfulness still in his voice. "Kiri can be a beautiful place, Konoha has its Forest of Death that is filled with monsters yet Konoha is beautiful too. I don't leave to spread beauty either, I live to protect Kiri as well but create peace between the nations so that the next generation has no need to fight out battle for us. I wish to only bring peace to this world and at the same time protect Kiri so it can march forth as a leader of peace, not war and bloodshed." he said boldly. He started to stand up as he listened. "I was not hinting at rebelling against the Mizukage. I was just only talking about what good leadership roles would be fore the next generation to follow. I'm loyal to my lord, and I will fight for him. However, I will only kill those who are not innocent. I will kill those who try to take over our land, but, I will not kill the innocent." he said with a serious attitude. He then looked up at the sky for a few moments, then turned his attention back to her.
"Your wrong. I'm not the same. Ninja are ninja, the personality is what makes them who they are. I may be layed back, cheerful and friendly," he said while biting his finger. "I'm not a ninja to toy around with, I'm a shinobi of Kirigakure. War and battling is not everything a ninja is. We are a organization to help protect our loved ones and what we believe in. If we are to wrapped around war, like you seem to be, then we will only love to hate and only kill to kill. I will not let that devour my soul and my heart. I did once, and I turned into a monster.." he said and quickly made hand signs. "I'd step back about two-hundred or so feet.." he said as he slammed his hands on the ground. In a matter of seconds, a one hundred foot cloud of smoke appeared. As it cleared, was Akasan. One of Demo's most powerful and largest summons. "Like I said, I may act like I'm foolish but when in battle, I'm more serious and powerful then you think." he said as Akasan stuck his tongue out to make it easier for them to get on his back. Demo stepped on the soft, sticky tongue and then replied with a more cheerful and kind personality now. "Want on?" he said and then quickly added, "War will not probably happen anytime soon, if you train to much that is all you'll know how to do. That Saya, is not good for you. I'm a Jounin and I come from a clan that seems as strict as yours. Look at me? I'm not even close to a stereotype." he said waiting for her to get on to be taken up one hundred feet to get on Akasan's back. It was after Demo spoke that Akasan said, "Come on miss! Don't be shy" he said matching the same attitude that Demo had. |

| "Don't be silly, your clan is nothing like mine." She says derisively. She smirks as she does, a slender brow arching curiously; as if the Hyuuga were anything compared to the Ashigaru. Saya leaps back as quickly as she’s able, but clearing distance would take more than the moment that seemed given. She gets lost amongst the smoke and explosion, toppling over on the road as the massive toad appears. Saya found herself somewhere beneath the frog once it appeared, though far from trapped.
In a few more hops she manages to climb to a near by rooftop, though is still far below the large frog’s legs. The nearby marketplace is host to a couple hundred screams, of varied emotion, as the massive thing takes over the scenery. Saya tries not to seem too impressed, though faced with such a beast it was hard not to be. It was quite massive, indeed.
While she was going to chastise him for his comparison of their clans, the frog successfully changed the subject. With a few hops Saya climbs up to the top of it, if only to be able to speak without yelling. If the big frog decided to go for a ride, she could jump off if she needed. After the long journey up the things back, Saya takes a quick look around the city. She steps over towards the Hyuuga, and eyes him warily. This guy must be a nut.
“You have a might large frog, but I’m not sure what point it proves. You talk of peace, but are made for war. I want to ensure there’s plenty of fighting for the next generation, otherwise my family will grow bored. War’s a force of nature, and you can’t just live without it. Ninja’s might be individuals, in my family, we all live to fight. Not one of us is unable to defend ourselves.” She says quite loudly, not addressing the large frog directly. Her experience with summoned animals was likely much different than Demo’s had been.
“If you want what’s best for Kiri, then be ready for war. It’s gonna come sooner than you think. This peace is just a building up, a calm before the eventual tide breaks. There will be a glorious flood of conquest and battle, and I want to be in the midst of it all.” Saya concludes with a nod. She looks down at the frog for a moment, then back up at Demo before continuing. “You do know this thing is standing on all of my equipment, right?” |

| Demo raised an eyebrow when she said that her clan was nothing like hers. "Oh." is all that came out between Demo's lips. The girl, with some quickness, attempted to get as far as she could from the summoning site. After the smoke cleared, Demo could see her starting to hop onto buildings as citizens screamed in excitement, amazement and fear. Demo laughed a bit, and when those who were afraid that something was going on saw that it was Demo, they're screams turned into screams of amazement as well. Demo quickly waved and smiled as he was taken atop Akasan's back.
After just a few seconds, Demo was atop Akasan's back and soon Saya had arrived. It seemed she look around after getting on his back, but she quickly eyed him. Demo looked around also. Kirigakure was like no other village. You could see the sea, and the mist that surrounded the village in every direction. Demo looked down with a soft smile at how he was raised in such a beautiful place, opposite the boneyard that could be seen. It was then however, that she spoke. Not one of us is unable to defend ourselves.” Demo looked at her for a moment, an actual glare, as if he had heard something speak utter crap. "Ensure that the next generation has wars and fighting as well? That is just wrong. Tell me, if there were no ninja, no people, humans, whatever you want to call us; would there be war? No, there wouldn't. However, there are people, and shinobi but we can learn to live together to help stop the fighting and the wars. We can lessen the lives that leave this world too early." he said looking at her in the eyes with sadness as if everyone he knew had died in war, which they had. "War killed my friends, and it killed my family." he said, his eyes now blood shot. Closing them, he opened them, the brightness returning to them. "I don't want war, but I will fight in it to protect those I love, but I still don't want it." he said sternly. "You may be right, this peace I try to help keep may be the calm before the tide breaks, however I will try to maintain it as much as possible," he said looking at her with professionalism. "Also, you talk about enemies that go against Kiri. However, have you ever thought about Kiri being an enemy to itself? To be honest with you, if someone from Kiri attacked another village, destroyed something sacred to that village, burned down homes or forests of a village, or ruined ties with a village that leads to war. I find them a threat to the protection of Kiri and the stability and pride of Kiri and its citizens. Those people, who are in Kiri and threaten its peace and protection, are my enemies as well." he said with a stern look, showing that Kiri itself could also be threatening to itself. "Come the day a village attacks Kiri, I will fight. I will give my life to only protect the peace here, and the villagers, not just to fight. I'm a fighter, I was not built solely on fighting. If the Hokage, Raikage, or Kazekage were to come with their army to take out Kiri head on, I will take on either Kage before they reach our Kage and battle them to my death. I will only fight and die for them, for my family and friends also. I will protect everyone in this village from war." he said with authority, power, justice, and leadership in his voice. It was a pretty impressive, deep speech that would at least touch someone even as tough as Saya, in his opinion.
After a few moments of exchanged looks he thought was going on between him and Saya, his mood brightened once again. "Your right, Akasan is on your weapons.." he said and then yelled to Akasan, "Akasan, move and bring the weapons up with your tongue!" he commanded as the large frog lifted one side and said, "Alrighty, boss!" he said before his tongue zipped down to the ground, quickly picking up the weapons and returning them to Saya. Demo looked at the unique weapons and said, "I'm guessing that your clan specializes in weapons," he said with a snicker, "To be quiet honest, I never replied to your comment awhile back. You were right, our clans aren't the same. Mine could easily have the advantage, unless you were taught how to fight one of us because you won't be able to easily hit us with weapons so easily when we use our special trait." he said with some joking behind his voice. "I'm not saying you aren't a powerful family, because I think you can handle your own." he said smiling as if he knew the girl was a powerful ninja. "I think you and I will get along well." he quickly added before saying, "I'd like to take you on as one of my students." he said with a large smile and laugh. His mood could not be taken down as easily as before now. |

| Saya smirks slightly as she listens to his monologue, her head shaking just slightly as she does. "You think it is only we humans who seek war? There's several examples in the animal world of species who will activly hunt and kill others of their own type, to take over their land. While lions and wolves do not use spears and swords, their desires and needs are the same. We all need land, and we all need to keep our land safe." She says slowly, her voice still cool and steady. Inflection is lacking as each word spills out after the one before it in the same tone. "To dream of world peace means only one thing. That you are in control of it all. While different governments, and different people, all exist in the world, there will always be war. There will always be war, because it's simply natural."
"Since the begining of time humans have sought to master the ways of killing each other quicker. We sought out ways to steal food and land, homes and hunting grounds from our neighbors. While the world has gotten bigger from the times long past, our needs are still the same. Konoha is a land opposed to ours. Their citizens enjoy the tranquil forests rolling meadows, while in Kiri we sit in swamps, bogs, and in a dreary haze. It is only natural that some of us would like to settle in their lands. It is also only natural that we should want to bring the way of life we have grown accustomed too with us." she says as she motions to the landscape around her. From the top of the frog the whole marketplace could be seen, full of busy citizens going about their lives. "But it is our differences, the lives we wish to cling too, that cause the war and strife that is rife in our world. Because we do not live like the other villages, and because we do not want too, we will never be at peace."
Saya takes her weapons once their delivered to her, her first thought to bury her spear deep into the ground for safe keeping. Holding it all the time got bothersome. It was only by a stroke of luck that she remembered at the last moment she was standing on a frog, and not dirt. She swings the spear around and points it's razor sharp tip downwards. She thrusts it down, but haults the blade about three inches away from the frog's back with a slight blush. She simply drops it instead, a foot landing on the pole to hold it in place. She places the steel, dome shaped helmet on her head, letting it cast her face under its shadows. Embossed on the front of her helmet is the four wave pattern of Kirigakure. "See, my clan is not like your clan. The Ashigaru people are not like any other people in all of the lands, and we never will be. When I was born, I held a weapon before my own mother held me. Every one of us are born for war. We can not achieve happiness in life with out it."
"You hyuuga are born with natural advantages. In the past, when the clans warred over the early fate of the land of fire, your clan was one of our greatest enemies. Amongst the clans, the Uchiha and the Hyuuga gave us more trouble that we could ever explain. You see, it was really people like you that caused the formation of my massive family. With your special gifts, that you are born with, you are able to take on several warriors at once. You can defeat most enemies, because you have the Byakugan, or Sharingan. My family, on the otherhand, works for a living. We don't have natural talents, and the bulk majority of us can not even use a single jutsu." She says with a nod as she takes her cloak from the frog. She swings it behind her back, and pulls the heavy thing up over her shoulders. With the weights and cloak, the frog she was standing on would likely notice her great weight. In all, Saya weighs upwards of 700 pounds. Even though she's just a small girl, the training weights, weighted cloak, and abundant weaponry all add up. "Do not think the hyuuga are special. The Ashigaru defeated them in the past, and can do it again if needed. There's over a thousand Ashigaru soldiers spread throughout the world.. and our strength is in our numbers. No other clan understands the value of team work like we do."
The last thing she grabs is her mask, though she'd need to spend a little time cleaning it before she could slide it over her face. Inside the mask was more complicated that it looked. The lenses that covered the eyes had a mirror sheen, making them look like a continuation of the steel the mask was constructed from. Behind the gaping mouth and demonic face was a hidden away gas mask, which she carefully covers her mouth with. The helmet is secured with a pair of thick straps, which Saya wraps around behind her head. Just like that, she was fully armored once more. She rolls her foot off of the black bamboo pole of her Yari and tucks her toes beneath it. She gives it a little kick upwards, tossing the spear into the air just high enough for Saya to grab it with a hand. She twirls it around in a circle once to point the blunt steel cap on the end downwards, then thrusts the thing against the frog beneath her.
Behind her mask, saya is free to grin. The concealing steel allows her to be more free with her emotions, though they still do not reflect in her voice. Over the course of her fourteen years, the soldier's monotone had been forced into her, and she used it habitually. "You want to be my teacher.. huh? Well, I am certainly not opposed too it. But I am going to have to ask you for at least a demonstration of your skills before hand. There are many things in this world I desire to learn, but first and foremost is my sword. Understand that I am no artist or free thinker.. I am just a soldier, and I fight for Kiri." |

| Listening was a bit hard for Demo has she replied to what he had said to her. Nothing he said could get to her, and he noticed this. There was no hope of changing this girl's ways and ideals. Demo had to give up on that, maybe if she accepted being his student she'd change over time. Demo could not help but smile at everything she was saying. It was not a smile of satisfaction or impressment, but it was a smile of disapproval. " Though, I don't approve with anything your really trying to explain to me. I will have to give you props on making me almost second guess myself. However, I want to train you to show you that its not all about war all the time. That fighting is not the way of the shinobi. Though, I do like your view and attitude on things. You must be a really smart girl." he said. "This girl is quite unique. Though her viewings of things are a bit emotionless, she'll make a fine shinobi. Maybe, if I become an attachment to her if we become close as sensei and student, when and if she loses me to war, just maybe, she'll be different." he said with a calm, reassuring smile, yet again. To Saya, it might look like he was trying to create another argument, but really he was just thinking. Thinking, and smiling, he is known as, [i]The Mentalist for this reason.
"Your right, animals do that indeed. However, they wouldn't need to if we did not cultivate and take that land from them." he said with raised eyebrows, however, you could tell that in his tone that he did not want to argue what he was about to say further any longer. "Dreaming can get people somewhere, having dreams make goals. By dreaming, it can get you where you want to if you believe in that dream, war is a dream and nightmare for others. I don't want to believe in it, but like I said, most dreams and some nightmares do come to life and hit you where your heart is." he said his eyes looking the same place Saya's did when she looked out towards the busy people. "Again, your right, humans have always wanted more. Its those wants that drive war, but you need to look past the simple things and look at the more complex things, Saya." he said as he saw her toy around with her spear. "Please, don't poke that in Akasan" he said as she seemed to stop the blade from going into his summon.
After a moment of day gazing, he saw that Saya was not wearing a helmet with the emblem of Kiri on it. "Interesting......" he thought to himself, as he kept lending his ear to her as she spoke. "Born for war eh.....? I wonder if she has ever thought that she could only be an enemy to herself by being like this..." he thought as he showed a fake smile, as he really was thinking negatively on things she was saying. "Your right, we are one of the oldest clans to Konoha, and that is where I get my Katon element from. Unlike you, I can use jutsu, but utilizing jutsu is not the only way to fight. I have no knowledge of the "Ashigaru" defeating the Hyuuga, but I'll believe in your words as I'm no where close to my clan's headquarters," he said and then adding, "But, I'm not like most of my clan. I do not find pride in my power as much as they do and I don't think I'm a hotshot or something similar to that. I'm an equal shinobi, no matter whoever says I'm stronger than another, we're equal." he said with a stern look. "I live for tomorrow, not war. Always have, always will" he said. The look in his eyes would possibly seem similar to a Konoha ninja. It was the Will of Fire. Though, this will burned for Kirigakure and its existence, even Saya would be able to see the love, compassion, and truth that seemed to be hidden in his eyes for Kirigakure No Sato. Nothing could change this about Demo, he was who he was. Always would be. After that, he turned around his back facing her. His arms seemed to be folded, at least that would look like he was folding his arms to her. "Never, will I find pride in my power. Only myself, and my comrades. I will not stop until I bring both peace to Kiri and to the world, I will ensure that the next generation, as a whole is control of that peace. That is my nindo, my shinobi way." he said and then looked back at her with a smile, this however was a sneaky, playful smile. A friendly one, but a tricky one that possibly, he hoped, Saya would not notice.
After a few moments of silent that Demo seemed to exchange to anything she said into response to that, Demo thought back on to what she said about demonstrating his abilities. "Oh, you want to have a small spar, well I guess you think that I may be a little to weak for you or something?" he said with a highly excited smile. "I won't need to use my Byakugan on you. I hardly ever use it as I'm not to accustomed to it, though I'm very skillful with it. I'll show you that even though I'm a Hyuuga, I don't need to use my Byakugan to be good in battle," and then was quick to add, "Well, let's do this! Don't get hurt, I won't go easy on you since your clan is supposedly so good at combat." he said with a wink and then did a very quick back flip, soaring gracefully through the air and said quickly, "Akasan! Dismissed!" he said with a smile as he did a couple of hand seals himself, "Mole Hiding Technique...". Akasan disappeared in a cloud of smoke, and with that the girl would be falling towards the ground. Demo knew she'd be able to recover quickly. It was at that moment that Akasan disappeared that Demo did also. Near where Akasan was, Demo was standing with a kunai knife in hand waiting for Saya to navigate safely back to the ground. The Demo that was on the surface would look like the real thing to Saya. Waiting, and information was all that was to be done at the moment. Demo kept his guard, and awaited for her to appear as it would be hard for her to sneak up on a jounin.

Name: Doton Clone Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Element: Earth/Doton Description: This jutsu is similar to Konoha's Shadow Clone jutsu. However, this jutsu utilizes the Earth element. The user can make up to two clones at a time when using this jutsu. The clones can take only about one to three hits of physical hits that are not taijutsu. Also, these clones can transfer their experiences back to the original, such as what they see and learn, the user will be able to have knowledge of. These clone must be physically harmed to be dispelled of. They will also be dispelled if the user does not have enough chakra or runs out. The user can dispell them as well. However, when they are dispelled, they leave behind a rocky formation the shape of a human, and about the height of the user of the jutsu. Meaning, if met by a weapon, these weapons will be stuck in them when they lose the appearance of the user.

| Saya was unfortunately slow in her reaction to the frog’s disappearance. Instead of leaping nimbly back to find something more convenient to land on. When the frog vanished and the ground was pulled out from beneath her, she simply fell. It really was unfortunate the circumstances that lead into this quick starting spar. She’d not even accepted the terms before the jounin up and vanished.
What did this Hyuuga know of battle anyway? All this talk about peace and love was wearing thin on Saya. She can’t help but think of her first encounter with Kakuhan some time ago. He tried to fight her too, but she was well out of energy long before the fight started. Even now she was low on energy and had been practicing all day. The fact that she still had her training weights on had left her worn out, but also far too heavy to react quickly.
The wind buffets her cloak as she picks of speed, falling through the air for all of ten seconds before she lands. She does nothing to break her fall, but there’s sadly little she could have done anyway. Was she possessed of wind jutsu, perhaps she could have slowed her fall. If she were not so heavy, she could have called on her summon, but instead she just lands with a great impact. When she hits the ground she lands on her back, and strikes with such an impact you’d think she was made of stone. The full 700 pounds of her body land in one spot, and shake the landscape.
A great cloud of smoke explodes out from where she lands, and the cement foundation beneath her fractures into numerous cracks, and a crater. In the center of it all Saya just lies there for a moment. One may have assumed death was a certainty from such a great impact, and for many others that might have been the case. However, as the smoke began to clear, Saya would be pushing herself up to her feet. What was a few broken bones to a sturdy warrior? More over, what were a few broken bones to Saya?
Though Kakuhan had seemingly vanished, he’d left her with a nice enough gift. Inside of her body small vines were already moving, shifting and writhing between hr muscles and tendons. They replced broken segments of bone, and began to pull the splintered shards back together. Though she is leaning on her spear when she first rises, it takes her only a matter of some 30 seconds before her legs, back, and arm have been repaired and renewed.
The vines do nothing for the pain that would have been associated with the regrowth and forceful misuse the vines cause and inflict on her body, but Saya had her own resistance to that. A life of war, and practice for the pursuit of such, had rendered Saya hardened to such things. She just put it in the back of her mind, and moved on. Back on her feet, Saya does what is best for her situation. She crouches just a little towards the ground, just enough to let the edges of her cloak touch the ground. "You have some nerve just attacking like that. I did not accept your challenge, and the very idea is rediculous." she says, as she moves about beneath her cloak some. She wraps the straps securing the weights to her ankles and lets them fall off her legs onto the ground beneath her. "You're a jonin, what chance would I have in defeating you in a fight?" she asks the clone, unaware of it's nature.

Name: Soldiers Endurance Rank: E-S Type: Taijutsu Element:None Description:Pushing on in spite of all odds is what makes the Ashigaru the true blooded warriors they are. Hours upon hours of battling in formation, and charging enemies lines, has ingrained in them a die hard attitude and endurance far beyond normal capabilities. While this ability does not allow them to heal actual damage, the use of this ability still gives them the energy to fight on when other soldiers would have grown far to tired to even lift their blade in defense. Depending on how much chakra is spent, the effects are varried. D rank chakra: Restores all lost energy due to fatigue or exhastion. This allows them to march all day, and still be fresh and ready for immediate battle. This same amount of chakra can simulate a full night of sleep, however the effect will only last for a few hours. Using it again can allow for this clan to march their army for days straight without resting. C rank chakra: By releasing more chakra the Ashigaru is able to numb the pain coming from wounds recieved in battle. While it will not truly heal, it will allow th ashigaru to fight on, inspite of the pain.
Name: Symbiotic Healing Rank: - Type: Ninjutsu (Medical) Element: None Description: Due to Kakuhan\'s symbiotic plant, he is able to heal minor wounds relatively easily by the vines knitting closed the wounds, and even heavier wounds can be healed by the plants interference. Lost body parts are healed through the plant replacing them with vine-created counterparts, though it cannot replace internal organs or the head. While healing, however, the body\'s chakra is devoted solely to the plant, regardless of Kakuhan\'s will in the matter and this breaks puppetry strings currently active or active jutsu until the plant is finished healing, which rarely takes longer than a post unless limb loss is involved, then it takes three posts to complete.

| The clone watched, sending the information back to the real Demo. Saya had fallen, like expected, when Akasan was dismissed. Surprisingly, she let herself fall, which Demo found quite impressive when she hit the ground. The clone almost ran to her help, but then was reminded that Saya surely did have armor on, which even though it would make the contact more destructive, it would protect her as well in this case. The clone watched as the earth creaked a bit, and Saya got to her feet. There was no doubt in Demo's mind that this girl was tough, and all her talk was not a joke. However, he knew something had to be up when she started walking out of the small crater made by her contact with the ground.
The clone yelled, "Quite impressive, Saya." he said looking at her body, making sure there were no broken bones. "Interesting enough you have no broken bones or anything. Your armor would have limited your movement of limbs some, which would have most likely broken something. I can't help but wonder if there is something else about you." said the clone as it moved a step closer, barring the kunai knife. "You made quite a show of smoke there," he whispered under his breath as she ranted on about how she had not accepted the challenge and what not. "Well if you listened Saya, you told me I would have to demonstrate my skills. Battling is the only way I really know how too." he said while shrugging his shoulders. "I bet a strong girl like you really can take on someone like me. A lazy, foolish, layed back and caring Jounin like me sure would lose to you, after the way you put things about your clan and how a ninja is supposed to be designed," he said looking at her with a smirk. "Or were you wrong? Can someone be like me and strong also?" he asked with a smile. "Last thing, did your clan ways say anything about that you must always be on your guard? Which you weren't sort of..." he said looking a bit past her. "However, thats beside the point. You say that what chance does a genin have against a Jounin? You have plenty, rank is just a rank. Its skill and belief that get your through the battle. Never give up no matter what the odds, Saya." he said. Demo was going to proceed, without killing or hurting her that is.
Demo, still under the ground, was still receiving information on the conflict above. After the clone finished its set of hand seals, it let out a large ball of flames that roared towards Saya. Demo's fireball technique was just as amazing and skillfully utilized as that of an Uchiha's, as if he were one and not a Hyuuga. The clone then began to swiftly move to the side and with a good, slow pace; he charged at Saya from the side as well. "Show me your skills Saya, what can you do?!" he yelled with a cheerful smile as he ran towards her, the ball of flames being closer than he was.
In the meantime, the real Demo was still below the ground, contemplating things. "So, she has a pretty good suit of armor to survive a blow like that to the ground. Also, an impact like that surely would have broken something...does she possess medical ninjutsu or something? She really is an interesting young genin. She probably is pretty fast, meaning that armor must way her down a ton. I'll probably surface once she avoids or is hit by my attack. Either way, she is good, really good....." he said as he sat in a little hole underneath the Earth, still aware of the commenced battle above.

| Saya remains quiet as she listens to Demo talk, and as she does she removes the rest of her training weights. In total a little over 500 pounds would be left sitting on the ground beneath her cloak when she was done, and she was finally free of most of her burden. With the great weight removed she could move at almost her full speed.
When the flames erupt around her, she doesn’t move. The leather of her cloak blisters and pops, but it keeps her safe from most of the flames. Beneath the protective covering Saya would be singed and burned, but she would survive the jutsu intact. She keeps her eyes on the clone, waiting for it to draw closer, waiting for it to rush in and attack her.
When the clone tries to rush to her side, it’s met with the same defense regardless of its positioning. Behind, ahead, both sides, her defense could guard in all directions at once. The moment he rushes forward, Saya doesn’t move much to defend herself. Instead a single arm reaches from beneath her cloak and tosses what looks like a wooden pear into the air above her head.
The object manages to get about one foot away from her hand before it explodes, and even saya is caught within it’s impressive blast radius. The extremely short fuse causes the small bit of explosives in her splinter bomb to ignite, however the blasé does little damage on it its own. Instead it splinters the thick casing of wood covering it, and sends out sharp splinters in every direction. Anyone cause inside of the blast would find themselves showered with sharp slivers of wood, and any exposed skin would be covered in splinters when it was done.
Beneath her cloak, however, Saya was just fine. The wooden shards flatten with no effect on the thick covering of leather and metal. Her mask covers her face and eyes, and thick gloves and bracers protected her exposed hand and wrist. She didn’t need to dodge the attack, as it was designed with her armor in mind. When the blast cleared, Saya would be left with no damage at all.
- Spoiler:
Name: Splinter Bomb Quantity: 2 Location: In a pocket sewn into the inside of her plated cloak. Each has it's own pocket. Rank: C Appearance: This weapon takes the form of a large pear shaped peice of wood, that has been cut into countless sections. The wood has been cut through many times, but it held together by a very thin wrapping of paper. The bomb is about 5 inches high by 4 inches wide at it's bottom half, and where there should be a stem there's a metal ring. The entire thing has been painted black, and resembles a pear only in it's general shape. Looking at this weapon, it clearly is a bomb. This is made further evident, if the ring on top is instead a hole spouting sparks and smoke. Special Abilities/Characteristics: Inside of this bomb is an alchemicle substance very similiar to the powder smoke bombs are made from. The pressure of being trapped in the wood enhances the force of this explosion, splintering the wooden shell around the explosive. To use one pulls the pin out of the top of the bomb, which pulls out a the central core of the wick. It's powered flint and cotton wool, which ignights as the steel sparks over it. The wick is fast burning, and a little more than 1 second later the bomb will explode. The force is minimal, however the effect of the bomb is to send a shower of small wooden splinters in every direction. The splinters fly out only about 15 feet before they become ineffective, but spray in every direction. These inflict moderate surface damage, but have very little capability in penetrating armor. Light cloth will reduce the effect by half, and anything beyond that minimizes it to unnoticable levels. Exposed skin will be sprayed with countless small slivers of wood, and likely recieve numerous splinters. Reinforced cloth, leather, and anything more protective, will be completely unaffected by this weapon, even at close range. Origin: This was a device saya thought up and comissioned on some of her off time with her family. Though she already has ways to deal with multiple fighters around her, this little device helps her get rid of lightly armored and fast moving targets. The design was mostly her own, though she brought the idea and worked it over with a crafstman in town. Together the they designed and crafted a splinter bomb for Saya to use. She purchased two of them, as wood and smoke bombs are an inexpensive medium to work in.

| Charging towards Saya, the clone jumped into the air as it went down to dive on Saya. At this moment, the real Demo traveled under the ground until he was exactly below Saya. He placed two paper bombs under the ground that she crouched on. It was also then that the young genin threw a small wooden object that exploded into a shower of splinters that engulfed the clone in splinters. After it went off, in a matter of seconds the clone turned into a rock mound with splinters stuck in it.
The real Demo underneath the ground got all the information from the clone that he needed. He analyzed the situation immediately, [i]" She has strong armor, most likely need close combat or jutsu to really get to her. She has good stamina and also has many unique weapons. Her main focus must be weapons, that must be her clans specialty as well, as a genin would not have such great skills with weapons." he said this as he touched each paper bomb, igniting them, which was a bit risky. In a hurry, Demo traveled to the spot he had been at during most of the intel he had been gathering, and quickly popped out of the ground, appearing about five feet away from Saya. As soon as he was out, he threw many kunai with paper bombs attached to them, each landing and creating a imperfect circle around Saya, and quickly did hand signs and jumped into the air backwards, spewing ash from his mouth. The ash surrounded the area around Saya, even the paper bombs. Without hesitation, he clicked his teeth. A large explosion was ignited, so large that the shock of the explosion would break some windows of the surrounding buildings. This kind of spar was not a big threat, as this area was meant for this kind of training, nothing would catch fire too easy as the climate was to weight.
Demo landed on his feet looking at the explosion as he gained balance quickly. He pulled his sleeve to his forehead and wiped it and smiled. "I know you survived that. So, have I demonstrated my skills enough? Or should I use Byakugan and go a little further?" he asked as he smiled towards the large crater, and smoke that was left after the ignition of the ash and paper tags. All of this should have been a surprise to her, at least he thinks it should be.

| Saya watches with patience as the clone reverts to its natural stone state. A stone state, which meant only one thing. Saya grinds her teeth together behind her mask as she makes the obvious jutsu connection, and prepares for action. Typically, in this situation, she’d just summon her dinosaur ally, and make for the trees. Kusamaru’s mobility was a key advantage when dealing with earth users, but the Hyuuga was also a fire user. Kusamaru hated fighting against fire jutsu.
She decides it best to simply make for the nearest building, so she is already beginning to move when Demo once again appears. With a natural easy she unfastens the only strap holding her cloak on, and pushes it off her shoulders. As the jonin throws his tagged kunai at her, she sprints forward, and leaves the cloak behind her.
While it can be said that Saya is fast, seeing her true speed being put to use is simply breathtaking. In a quick pair of hops she springs forwards, dodging beneath the incoming kunai, as well as the incoming torrent of ash. The next hops propels her forward and past Demo, ending her just behind him. The speed of the Shunshin jutsu is well known, and Saya is well known for her mastery of it.
The entire trip from beneath her cloak to behind Demo takes only the smallest fractions of a second, leaving Saya in a perfect place to counter attack. As the flames of his explosion erupt, Saya spins around behind him. When he lands in front of her, she draws her blade from its scabbard and attacks. She attacks without hesitation or holding back, the blade leaving it’s saya in an instant and cutting through the air towards Demo’s back.
She slashes twice in quick succession, once upwards and once downwards, raking her keen blade across the jonin’s back with power and ferocity. Such was the strength of her family, who didn’t rely on jutsu. So perfect honed was their devotion to combat, that each one was a master. Each one was faster, and stronger, and tougher than the average warrior. Ashigaru keep, in the land of fire, holds a thousand proud warriors such as Saru Saya.

Total Speed Bonus: +35%
Chakra used so far: 3 C rank.
Name: Swift Spear Rank: E-S(used at C rank) Type: Weaponry Element: None Description: This jutsu makes the Ashigaru faster when using their weaponry. By expending an amount of chakra, the shinobi is pushes it out into their muscles and joints to make them more flexible and faster. A shinobi will find themselves 5% faster per rank of chakra expended. This increase lasts for two posts before it fades, with no lasting side effects. (E-5%, D-10%, C-15%, B-20%, A-25%, S-30%)
Name: Shunshin no Jutsu Rank: D-S(used at C rank) Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination.
Name: Strike Without a Thought Type: Weaponry{Kenjutsu] Rank: C-A Element: None Description: Those trained in the use of a sword know it is an extension of their own bodies. This technique involves quickly drawing the sword from it's scabbard and slashing the enemy in one fluid motion. It is very fast, taking about half the time it would take an untrained ninja to draw a sword from it's sheath. By trusting in her training and soldier instincts, Saya is able to assault the enemy effectivly by relying on muscle memory, and experience. At B rank this technique draws the blade in 1/4th the time it usualy takes to draw a blade. At A rank it draws the blade at 1/4 the time requires typicaly, -and- can resheath the weapon after the first slash is completed.
Name: Saya's Cloak of Immortals Rank: C Type: Armor Description: This is a sturdy leather cloak that Saya thought up, and had her clan's metal workers fashion for her. It concists of a sturdy cloak made of soft, supple leather. The leather has been dyed black and is studded with a thousand small square plates. The plates are each only an inch of so lond and are riveted to the leather, leaving only enough space between them to allow for some flexibility of the fabric. Due to the flowing properties of the cloak, and the covering of strong metal plates make it very hard to punch through the cloak to get to Saya beneath it. The cloak is able to cover her whole body, and it's one peice construction leaves few weak spots. While it does provide a great amount of protection to all sides, it is also quite heavy. The amount of metal used to cover the cloak makes it weight about 60 pounds in total. Destributed evenly, it still slows her down some. Natural Abilities: This cloak does not grant imortality! It's just a dramatic name! The protection this cloak comes with has a cost and an advantage. It's great bulk and weight make it hard to get a sharp weapon through but it also slows her down by 10%. However, the cloak is easy to remove, and doing so quickly frees her from the weight. After casting off the cloak she will recieve a 20% speed boost for the next post. On the second and third post, this speed increase reduces to 10%, then on the fourth post the lack of weight has become less of a factor and the speed boost fades to unnoticeable levels for the rest of the fight. The cloak can be put back on afterwards for added armor, however the cloak must be worn consistently for at least an hour before the benefits of removing the weights becomes helpful again

| Demo was a bit breath taken at the site of the young girls speed. Impressive.........very, very impressive..." he thought as he began to follow her with his eyes, when he had landed. However, he lost her when the counter he had brought down upon her exploded. Demo's eyes searched the area, he then quickly put his hands together, as he heard the grass being smashed between the Earth and a foot. "Behind me..." he said as he finished the hand seal as first swing hit his back.
The blades ripped through Demo's back, slice by slice as if he were a piece of beef being prepared for a hungry family. It was moments later that the last slice would be caught in stone, and the Demo she had attacked turned into stone. Before the second swing had hit him, he replaced himself with the second clone that was hidden out of site while the first one did the intel gathering. Meaning, Demo kept this one hidden in case he needed to switch places with it. However, there was somebody's actual blood, stained on the grass. Quickly, in a blur, Demo reappeared behind her. The Byakugan was activated, and he was smiling. "Game over!" he said as his hands flew into her, as he said. "Two, Four, Eight, Sixteen, Thirty-Two, Sixty-four!" he yelled, as his hands darted across her, as the chakra from his palms pierced the tenketsu in her body. Hopefully, he had hit her. As he finished, he spun fairly quickly as he swung his hands towards her, focusing his chakra into them, he launched his palm(s) at her chest. Surely, if it were to even touch her, she would be blown back into the building behind her, which would cause her to slam into it, possibly cracking the side of the building. Demo watched carefully to make sure that if he surely did hit her, that she was alright. Demo began to suffer from a twisted ankle from keeping up to spar with her speed, and his chakra started to drain pretty dry from him, though it was not noticeable in his expression or body language. Again, he hoped that he hit her, so that they could actually sit down and talk about apprenticeship.

First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64. This damage forcibly closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu.
Name: Eight Divination Signs Destructive Mountain Fist Type: Taijutsu Rank: B Element: - Description: Ranged Taijutsu technique utilized by the Hyuuga. Extending chakra from his body, the user will thrust their palm at the target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra that can knock the opponent back into a nearby rock or wall to cause more damage.

| After the series of lightning fast attacks, Saya is sent reeling through the air. She lands against a wall some distance away, almost all of her chakra points closed. Her skill had allowed to to protect herself from two or three attacks, but the vast majority of her chakra network was shut down. She slides down the wall she impacted, and lands in a motionless little pile at it's base. The additional round of her speed boost would be wasted, but it seemed saya was not done.
With his Byakugan on, Demo could see the things inside her happening that most couldn't. Her chakra network is dimmed and stunned, but still has energy flowing through it. The vines inside her do the rest. The full effect the paracitic vines had inside her were unknown fully to her. Experiementation had yeilded some knowledge, but this delightful treat would take her by surprise. As Demo watches, the light in her chakra network flickers. It sputters for a moment, then completely vanishes. If not for her squirming on the ground, you could swear she was dead. A moment passes with her chakra network down, then the entire thing resets.
The closed tenketsu points all flow naturaly after the full system reset, and the paralyzing effects of the 64 palms quickly faded into history. Again, as if she was unstoppable, Saya pushes herself up to her feet. She's just a little shaken, as the attacks moved at a blur, even to her. She remains quiet for a good long moment, the vines beneath her flesh mending the wounds from impacting the wall.
"You people and your clones.." she says at last, then smirks slightly beneath her mask. In spite of the vines kitting her bones, her tender flesh was simply used up. Continuing any further would only result in actual damage to Saya's growing body. One one fluid motion she flicks the tip of her sword up and over to her scabbard, and carefully puts her sword away. "That was a pretty good attack. I couldn't move for a little while after it was over." She says, having never seen it before. She didn't know she should still be paralyzed.

Name: Vine Body Purge Rank: - Type: Ninjutsu (Medical) Element: None Description: Kakuhan\'s symbiotic plant, when exposed to poisons or foreign substances, even those designed to aid Kakuhan, reacts violently and forces the body to take the appropriate response. If the substance effects the stomach or digestive system, it forces vomiting. If it affects the blood stream, a vine emerges, without the nerve numbing that Kaku usually causes, and immediately tears open the vein so that the bad blood can drip out. If it affects the chakra system the vine will shut down the chakra system in order to slow the expansion of the substance, which is usually counter-productive and greatly agitates Kakuhan who is left in combat without access to his own chakra.

| Successfully, all of Demo's attacks had hit the young girl. She flew into the wall which, by the force, sent a crack creeping quickly up the wall. Demo smiled as he returned to a standing position as the girl slumped to the ground, motionless. However, that smile turned to a solid line carved in his face when he saw Saya's whole chakra grid go away. "Did...I kill her? Wait, what..? he said as he looked closer at her body, the Byakugan closely glaring at her body. Saya's chakra grid started to flicker, and suddenly the Tenketsu points recovered and her chakra was redistributed to her body. Demo watched her as she got up, thats when he caught sight of something move over her chakra grid. It seemed as if a vine of some sort appeared to be wrapping itself around her chakra grid. Demo looked at it just a few more seconds as it vanished, and at that same time he deactivated his Byakugan.
"I'm impressed." he said as there was still no smile on his face. He quickly pulled the cloth from his shirt, to his face, making a mask. It seemed as if he had a cloth mask that covered his nose, mouth, and anything else below his nose the whole time. "Very interesting Saya." he said as he closed his eyes cheerfully, speaking through the mask that covered his mouth. "Clone are useful Saya, especially the ones I used. They can gather intel and send it back to me. Basically everything they experience, and learn; I'll know and learn," he said, "Minus the feelings, pain. You know." Demo at her and said, "Even if you possess some kind of regeneration jutsu, or have something that allows you to heal quickly. I know that your body will be bruised, and you still will suffer from minor effects from those two attacks." he said piercing her in the eyes with his own. "I've already figured that your clan must specialize in weapons, all sorts of weapons. That's probably why you have such a good grasp on weapons, which a genin wouldn't normally have." said Demo. "I told you the Hyuuga have very unique abilities. We almost have three hundred and sixty degree view while using our Byakugan, making close combat and weapons very unwise against us; Those jutsu right there were lower ranking jutsu of the clan. My other tenketsu technique surely would have killed you." he said, though you could hear the sadness in his voice. You could tell he would have never have done that. "My skills far exceed that over about eighty percent, but after seeing your skills as well, you are going to be my student." he said with a smile, which could not be seen, but was there. "There is one thing I'd like to ask you though. What exactly, are those vine looking things in your body? Are they what opened your tenketsu points, and helped heal some of your major internal injuries?" he asked curiously. |

| In a flash, the mist increased. It raised like a prepared instant, not a natural cause. Many from native Kirigakure could easily recognise this technique as Kirigakure no Jutsu. But the mist was thick and seemingly endless. It would cause a major disadvantage. But this was a technique Kuro normally used for escape instead of an entrance. But watching the previous set of events and listening in on their conversation helped him greatly in testing the abilities the posed. Whether the girl's strength and strong will towards fighting, or the peaceful man, Kuro didn't feel a warm, fuzzy surrounding. He had become bored with them after they finished fighting, and began to make his entrance.
Well, I finally might meet a person who understands and values peaceful ways, he thought as he moved from his hiding place, a small bush. His long hair slide into his face, addding to the affect of a way darker personality then his regular, average kind hearted one. But he never noticed, and forced the mist to lower and remain to at least some visability. He approched them without a word, calmly and quietly grinning through his long, black hair. He stopped when hewas a few feet away, and opened his mouth, only to find himself at a loss for words. Well, I'll just wait and see what they say about me, I seen their abilities, but they've not seen mine, he thought as he looked up, grinning through his hair.

| Kirigakure no Jutsu, Saya had heard about the technique. She'd even seen it before, though from the outside. Behind her mask she only smirks slightly. Visibility was always nice, but there was a tool for every situation. She reaches to her injured side for a moment, still wet with her own blood. Demo was right, in spite of her impressive regeneration, there were some things she couldn't fix. She was bruised and sliced, and though the flow of blood had been stopped, her flesh still bore fresh, vine like stitches.
The parasitic plant came with it's benefits, as wells as it's drawbacks. She spoke of neither to anyone, they were her own secrets. Some of the plants powers even she did not understand. The blood on her side was not a vibrant red as most people's should, but slightly more viscus, and greenish. With it on her glove she draws her hands together, silently forming a series of five hand seals.
The cloud of smoke resulting from her jutsu simply blends into the cloaking mist. The dinosaur at Saya's side announces itself only with a quiet and rasping his, then a soft set of sniffs. With Kusamaru at her side, Saya did not need her eyes. She keeps a hand pressed against Kusamaru's side, the other on her sword. Only when the mist begins to part, of course, would any of this be exposed.
Until she can see, or until someone comes within range of her sword, she waits patiently on guard. Kusamaru's nose would be to overwhelmed by the number of scents in the air to pick out anyone's location just yet, but if anyone came close, he'd certainly be her best defense. Besides it's keen sense of smell, Kusamaru's snout also contained a large array of razor sharp teeth, and two fists full of hooked claws. |

| As soon as their demonstrations had been over with, something else began to occur. Mist, lots of it too. Unnaturally, the mist began to rise. "Kirigakure no jutsu......" Demo thought in his head. Suddenly the strained look near his eyes returned. Demo's eyes pierced through the thick blanket of mist, which seemed to comfort someone in it. Whoever was using the jutsu had good skill of it, as it was very thick and volume. "Impressive..." he thought as he took a small step back. His eyes wondered towards Saya.
Saya; he had just found out so much about her but for her to pull out an odd summon as well. Demo was astonished. "She is a very interesting girl, always seems to pull out a surprise...." he thought as he slowly turned his mind back onto the matter at hand. So, as Demo looked, he could see that this ninja had long hair similar to the black eels that swam in the slimy depths of the swamps. The ninja had spoken a while ago, and the voice seemed emotionless, dead, and very depressing. Demo took a step forward. "It seems as if Saya is starting to recover a bit. Though, if I did another move on her like that....she most likely may not be active for a month or so. Also, this ninja here has a chakra network similar to that of a genin's, so not much of a situation.." he said as he began to speak out loud, "I can see you, so you can really cut the act and reveal yourself," he said with leadership in his voice, as if he were talking to an enemy. "If you don't do so. I will kill you. To be honest, my clone could be right behind you, but then again, I could always feed you to Akasan, my summon." he said with some cheerfulness in his voice, pulling out a kunai knife at the same time. "Don't worry, my chakra is still at a highly good rate." shouted Demo as he twirled the kunai in his hand, keeping his eyes on the ninja. |

| His hair parted ways as he swung his head back in laughter. The mist parted aswell, revealing the landscape, and every other little thing was revealed. He was still laughing, before he swung his head back into an upright position. "Me, a threat to a jounin of my own village?", he questioned sarcastically, to a point where he once again threw his head back, filled with laughter. He couldn't stop this time, this jounin just didn't seem to be serious. Kuro found his tone quite stupid, considering the many factors. When Kuro found himself sighing, he swung hs head back up, returning to the ever persistant scary look. He actually moved closer, secretly having senbon in his sleeve. He knew what he would be up against right now in a fight, and he didn't like his odds alone.
"So, your Saya, with Kusamaru, and the one with the doujutsu, I've never seen or met before, but it's a pleasure to have your aquatence now.', he muttered. He could help but grin at Saya and her companion, Kusamaru, whom he'd already the displeaure of meeting. He could still remember the displeasure of riding the dinosaur, and wouldn't mind turning it into a glacier. But that could be arranged if needed to be done. He looked towards the one with the doujutsu once again, shrugging his arms and smiling through his hair. "You really believe I'm a threat?", he asked sarcastically, keeping the senbon ready incase he would need them. |

| Saya carefully replaces her sword back into her scabbard as she steps away from the agitated looking lizard. It snaps it's jaws for a moment and shifts its weight from foot to foot. Kusamaru didn't much like being summoned when action was lacking. As the mist fades, Saya walks back over towards her discarded cloak. It's taken the brunt of several explosions and flames, but was still in one piece. It was missing some of its steel plates, and had a single rip in the leather, but it was still in one peice. She gathers it up and slings the weight over one shoulder before bending down to pick up her training weights.
She assumed the fighting was over. She didn't want to fight Kuro, and Demo had made his point. She'd also made her own, so everything seemed settled to her. The weights she'd been wearing each weighed in at 150 pounds, though to look at them you wouldn't imagine. She slips them back on, one at a time until each of her limbs was weighed down once more. Suddenly burdened with the extra 650 pounds, her sudden lack of speed is obvious.
Her eyes flick over to Kuro, then over to Demo. She wondered if they were going to fight. She'd already softened up the jonin for him, Maybe Kuro could finish him off. She muses to herself what the outcome could be like as she begins to return to Kusamaru's side. She didn't speak just yet, as the new ninja's intentions were unknown. Before she gets back to her dinosaur companion, she pulls her steel mask once more over her face. She pats her dinosaur on its broad neck once she's next to it, and mutters quietly to him.
"Next time, Kusamaru. You can eat one next time.." she says quietly, mostly turning her back on the other two ninja. |
