Halo Reach :: BETA

Wow. That's all I can say.....Not. Here's more. ;D

My TV, Xbox and Controllers are all covered in white, sticky stuff. This game, although a BETA is teh sex. I am extremely proud, almost, of the work and non-fuckups that BUNGIE have put into this game. AND ITS ONLY THE MOFOING BETA! Gawd, I can't wait for the Campaign. But yes, apart from the obvious that this game has, in my complete opinion, raped CoD: MW2; I cannot wait for the real deal to come out. Oh and, PS3 users fail for not having access to this 'pot of gold'.

But into the meshing of this masterpiece.

As expected, it is still the lovable Halo that we all adore(if not then your not human). They have thrown in aspects from Battlefield Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2, and I have even found some of the dis-regarded EPIC Hud from Bungie's 2nd Failure, ODST. It has balanced the power out of the majority of guns, quite nicely in fact. Fo' example, The needler is now as shit as the plasma-rifle. Mind you, the plasma rifle now has increased power vs. the needler's track-and-stick bullets. Two very balanced guns, surprisingly. They have kept the uncalculating close-quarters power of the Energy sword, but have dramatically changed it's range - for the better, in my opinion. The inclusion of new guns, the altering of old ones and the balancing of them altogether = win. In my opinion, having the handgun with a 2x zoom capability yet with some significant recoil(lift when shot) makes it perfect. In fact, I love the handgun. ;D

But the most important bit is, like that of MW2 and BF BC2, the inclusion of mofo-ing classes! Yes! 4 classes which allow one to either sprint, turn invisible, absorb damage and fly(with a jetpack) for a limited time. They have then gone ahead and perked the shiznits outta it, allowing one to make their time with each of these specialties longer, faster, stronger etc. Not only that! But they maintained the Halo-custom armor-changes and have thrown some more bolts into the mix! Attachments. Useful ones. For example, like zoom-increase, etc. etc. This is able to view briefly in the BETA stage ;; but will be unlocked fully in the real game. With the classic jumping, movement and HUD; this maintains all of the epic elements of Halo.

I for one, is as keen as a cucumber is green for this game to be released. And I will be playing this BETA everyday until it is finished, which unfortunately is for another 12days.

Anyway. That's a bit on my opinion of it. Now what's yours? Keen for it? Opinions, No SPAM or I shove my SPAM-Hammer right up your assets. ;D

This game sounds pretty good. I haven't downloaded the BETA myself as I'm still playing Modern Warfare 2 on my Xbox360, but I'll be sure to pick this up once it comes out. I love Halo campaign, it's awesome. Oh and anyone who wants to hit me up on Xbox, my gamertag is Chappers213. ;D Just send me a message telling me who you are from here, and I'll accept. Wink

FFFFFFF--- I've never actually done story mode on Halo, but I adore the multiplayer part of the game. It's so addicting... And hilarious... And awesome... I'm sure my little brother will piss his pants with joy.

The official Halo: Reach date for release is September 3rd or 4th. If that, I forget. But the BETA is only available to be played for another ... 11 days. Yes. -.- Bungie are immortalizing this f---ing game by putting one of the strictest BETA release-lengths ever. 14days, a fortnight, 2weeks to you dumbasses. For several reasons, that I have read. Majority of it being that they want to see how balanced it is (like I stated), if there are any bugs/glitches so they can patch, and contrast it's gameplay over the rest of the other multi-player maps and modes. Hopefully, It doesn't get as fucked up in glitches and bugs like MW2 did. Yeah.. We all thought of the Care-package and Javelin glitches. Infinity-Ward dumbarses. Anyway. I am currently about to turn on my Xbox360, Sign in on my Gamertag Special Kleen and kick some nub Spartan-2's butts! Yeah. Gawd I'm cool.
