Yeah, when an administrator decides to violate a members privacy for a reason that is not detrimental to the site in any way, shape, or form (saying Id like to break the CB rules and recruit, and then send out PMs when being told I was able to) yet having that classified as "hostile to the site" is just a little wrong here.

So Im out. Catch me if you know how to, I may come back if hugh needs me too.

I slightly understand while at the same time disagree with the methods used. With the site's current state of inactivity, it is understandable that the advertisement of an outside site could take away potential and current members. They were simply trying to make sure that this was true before punishing you. Perhaps you shouldn't be advertising through PM, because the rules clearly state that it is not allowed. For example, when someone on this site asks me for a link to my site or my friend's site, I absolutely refrain from giving them the link through any method on this site, if at all.

So please, before coming on and making an away topic to complain, make sure you are not in the wrong as well. Thank you. ^.^

*yawns* im not complaining, and sending a link to someone at their request is not against the rules. Yes, advertising with Pms is against the rules, but I was asked to send the link, so I did.

Im merely stating what happened, and why Im leaving. As stated above, privacy was violated. Aka an admin went and changed my password to view my PMs. That in itself is not right, administrator or not. If I was going to actually complain about the whole thing and stay on the site, I would have brought it up with the other administrators. Plus, everyone also has the right to look and refuse, so it doesnt really seem like that big a deal via PM *shrugs* My opinion though.

I believe that they count links on request as a mild form of advertisement still. And as I have stated, it is still wrong how they invaded your privacy in such a way, but the best way to take care of things is to privately speak to Adam about the issue; rather than just leaving the site and making an away topic calling the Administrators out.

Caranore, are you seriously serious. You proposed to her that you wanted to her to join the site and said you were supposed to ask a few more people too. What I did was against what I like doing, I respect member privacy and hate the idea of going through other members personal messages, however, you didn't leave me much choice, since you only sent one and I didn't respond as it wasn't needed. I didn't go through all your messages, as I matter of fact I didn't even go into your Inbox, I went into your Sent Messages and saw one labeled to the member you said you'd be advertising too and none to any of the others, so I only checked that one and it was only a link. The question is, would a member be entitled to full privacy when the only way to prove their guilt or innocence was to violate those terms. I PMed you immediately saying what steps you could have taken and even talked to you in the chatbox, you were fine, especially when I mentioned that one thing... o_o

And your still gonna leave. Of course I'm going to attempt to talk to you, leaving over this is nonsense.

I'd like to point out that the following message I'm posting is from caranore and only doing this for him since he doesn't want to come back to this site. This is no way reflects my own opinions and I will keep them out of this for reasons that I don't want to get involved.

Now also comes down the fail that you personally have been putting off you have run this site like a dictator for a while now and its finally starting to crumble. Cause heres the thing when all that matters is one persons ideas the sites foundation can only go so far out till the building thats sitting on it can only collapse from sheer lack of ability. This is whats happening now, the site grew boring and if it wasn't for Hugh it would have fallen straight down into the toilet and flush bye bye US.

Now the thing is your personality reeks for being a site owner. You're narcissistic short minded and obviously clueless at times of greatest need. Work on yourself before you can hope to work on the site. Look forward not down at your feet to make sure you're not tripping up on your own two feet which is what you're doing now.

Not to mention the fact that I'm not American nor do I live in the United States of America. I'm Australia, you know that. You state that Wind requested the link, which is true. After you came into the chatbox and said "I'm supposed to break the rules and recruit you Wind, Dan too." This is enough to raise suspicion, and is enough of a proposal to ask for a link. By no way am I supporting what I did. I don't like doing it and your the second person I've ever had to do it too, however I stand by what I did because I was able to prove that you weren't in the COMPLETE WRONG. Only partially as previously stated. Funny to excuse me as a dictator, when all your history on Bleach Reborn still lingers behind you. Of course I'm going to be a dictator in some people's eyes, I have to make decisions and choices that people don't approve of. Like this case for an example, I had to follow the hunch. So I don't actually care that you call me a dictator, because I've heard it before, it's the fact that you criticise my attitude, when you have been the one to cause heated argument in the staff room among many staff members numerous times, so perhaps you're in need of a reality check.

I do not say what I did was a good choice, but it was the only one. I'm not posting here to defend myself although it may seem that way, I'm posting here because you need to be as civilised as I am being and speak to me privately instead of flaming your away topic.

I would like to also point out that due to the facts that Forumotion and this site are both International they are only restricted by International Privacy laws, and Adam has every legal right to access your PM's on his site. If you have a problem with it, it is Forumotion's fault for giving Adam the power to do so.

Privacy is a right only for as long as we use it legally. Now, if I was sending terrorists messages between me and a friend, talking about blowing up the world, and somebody knew we were doing this, would it be wrong to read my messages? No, of course not. Though this is a much less extreme situation, the logic stands the same.

Why don't you attempt to focus on your own roleplaying instead of membership issues? It may cut out a lot of the stress that is attached to roleplaying.

*yawns* Where did my own roleplaying come into this. I know my capbilities, I dont need to focus on it. The membership issues were why I came back, at Hughs request. not because I wanted to Rp, I have other places for that, as you know Adam.

Beyond that though, US really has no interest to me anymore. You guys had an amazing idea, and didnt know what to do when it got started, and so it died. Then came the Joker plot, which while retarded was a step in the right direction to reviving the almost dead site. Wheres the joker now? Its been almost what, 2-3 weeks? And now Hugh is revamping the original storyline to try and revive teh site by himself. Im not seeing any other administrative touch there.

Like I told Aaron on MSN, I could go on and on, but I wont. It wont do any good, especially since we really cant discuss this without you trying to turn everything into a fault on my part for leaving etc. Been there tried that. Im merely here now to talk to some people, and MAYBE RP with Hugh if he isnt burdened with trying to fix the site on his own.
