I think there should be an instruction guide for the little things, like how to use code for the new guys, or how to make a topic into a poll (which I really need to figure out because I can't seem to do that here XP) . This could include the codes like the Guest code or the color code. I feel that this would help new people out a lot. Any response at all? XP A lot of this is included in the navi bar FAQ. |

| I have the suggestion of every one having to choose a negative attribute to add to their char. This would make things more realistic. Every one acts like their char is perfect in every area. I dont mean a negative attribute that doesnt really affect how the RP but something like poor eye sight, over weight, bad stanima, bad hand eye cordination. Theres a large list of things that could be added to it. Thoughts? |

| ^Agreed
I listed an extremely vast list of Open-Special Characteristics, most of which people just card-stack the good ones and don't take any of the 'bad' ones. I happen to like the bad ones ;-; |

I always do that, as I'm very concious about OP characters. For example my current character finds it hard to communicate and has no bloodlust, so would find it even harder to kill, even in an important mission. |

| I always do too. A character is defined by his weaknesses not their strengths. It's how the deal with what these flaws that makes them interesting not how they utilise their strengths. In my case my character is both bat shit crazy, prone to argung with himself, skipping down corridors signing muscial numbers and is terrified of pocket lint. He also has the taijutsu abilities of one one armed, one legged 3 toed sloth. It is a good thing he doesnt have to rely on punching people to win otherwise he would barely get through the CE exams |

| I always have a bad side affect. My current character's worst is his arrogance in battle. That and Poor Chakra control. |

| A suggestion here.
Could we please fix the topic titles so we can edit them? My friend's app is stuck on Uchiha even though he isn't making one because it's closed. Fixing the permissions to edit titles or whatever would be great.

| Its already set up so you can, as I continually explain its the second black bar underneath your posting options. Some forums just don't support the usual type of topic editting, if you want to edit the topic you have to go down to the appropriate text field. |

Oh I found it.
It could be placed in a better place though. |

| Okay dimwits, We all know the Good/veteran Rpers know to do it because we have brains, now the non-vets wont do it because they want to be the 'best ninja ever' 'hokage' 'insert other cliche here'. What me and gabe are saying is that is should be a requirement not a 'yeah about 1/3 of the people do it.' |

Indeed, put it as part of template. Making sure the negative attribute is something that would affect their RP for real and not too much of one thing be used. Like blood lust, that could easily be used over and over... This could make things more realistic and more interesting RP wise |

| Well here i was thinking. I got so many weapon ideas and Im willing to use them for my character. Then BAM!!, i cant, why you ask? Because i dont have the right specialties to use the weapon. What im trying to say is , maybe we should have a weapon list , just like the clan list for people to use. Though ofcourse they can use it with permission from the owner. Only those that the user wants to put on the list can be placed there. |

| Weapons don't exactly work the same way as Clans haha. You can't have multiple people using the same weapon.. I suppose they wouldn't have to, but then the list would need to be added to a lot. |

| Well, we could have that list, and then whoever applies for that weapon and gets it, now has it. Put their name next to the weapon to ensure that others dont try to apply for it also. If the person dies, the weapon is then available.
Example:
Sword: Katana: Bamboo Stick: Pointy Stick: Caranore
Based on this, the sword, katana, and bamboo stick are all available, but the pointy stick isnt until I die. |

| What??? So you're telling me that only one person can be a master of the katana at a time? That's bull
especially considering the commonness of the Katana.
Really don't understand how that would be a good idea.. |

| Well someone is too lazy to read XD. He is just putting an exmple to my suggestion. Meaning there will be list of weapons that people will make for other members to use. If a person is to choose a weapon i created nobody else would get to use it. Though i think there should be 'village exclusive items ' that everyone can use. |

| There is already a list of generic weapons anyone can use and guidelines for non-weapon specialists to get weapons based on rank. Just because someone died and had an S rank sword doesn't mean you would have a clue of how to use it/access it's special abilities.
And as for a list of weapons... is that really needed? We don't have a listing of open jutsu and the like, so I don't know why we would have open weapons. In addition, special weapons are indeed special, so you would have to explain how you got a copy of some oddball weapon from someone who is potentially in another village, etc. When you exclude those weapons you are right back to the list of generic weapons and standard weapons (anything that isn't on the list that is a normal/mundane weapon).
I for one think that it would make far more sense to allow people to open up their weapons to others on a case by case basis. Maybe I choose to share some special bombs I invented with my squad, etc. Unless you were playing the concept that you ran a weapon shop, it would make little sense to distribute weapons to those who you don't know in character. In either case you would only be sharing with those who are in your village or allied with your village.
Rather then making a special open weapons list, now you have a reason to meet people in your village. Your locale weapon user could have more to offer then you know. ^~ |
