| HYUUGA, AMATERASU THE INFO.
NAME: Hyuuga, Amaterasu NICKNAME: Aimi: Her very first nickname originated under rather comical origins, ‘Aimi’ was how Amaterasu used to pronounce her name when she was first learning to speak, ever since it stuck as a nickname used only by those who are close to her. Anyone else should be wary when calling her this; otherwise they may just be victims of a very fiery wrath. Konoha’s Medical Mistress: A renowned title given to Amateratsu, highlighting her exceptional medical based abilities as she was recently promoted to the head of Konoha’s medic squad as well as revealing her proclivity for power play. The Heavenly Fist of the Hyuuga Clan: A title significant only to those who know much of the inner working of the Hyuuga clan. As a member of the main family, Amaterasu was already born already in a gratuitous light in terms of clan ability and relation. Yet she has continued to grow and outshine a great deal of clan members from both branches of her clan. Her mastery of clan arts as well as understanding of the gentle fist nature has given her the title of Heavenly Fist, which means that Amaterasu also holds a very important position in the Hyuuga clan, meaning she is next in line for Head of the Hyuuga Clan.
AGE: 25 GENDER: Female APPEARANCE:- PHYSICAL:Amaterasu looks very much like the standard Hyuuga in some aspects. The young Jounin possesses an impresses head full of thick raven colored hair, although she tends to keep it cut and worn in a style much shorter as is the standard length worn by other members of the clan, considering it is cut to just below shoulder length. Amaterasu wears her hear in several distinct styles which vary depending on what is appropriate for the situation at hand. During some occasions she may wear her hair pulled back in a sort of messy bun, wrapped together and held up by a single senbon acting as a pin. She typically wears her hair up like this when training or preforming a particularly difficult technique as it is her most common ‘go to’ style when she is required to do something demanding or requiring a large amount of focus. At other times, when she can be more relaxed or perhaps during some rare personal time, she will wear her hair down, framing her face or maybe draped over one shoulder, giving her a more serene or luxurious and approachable look. There is no doubt she wears her hair in a great many ways, but the two of these are by far the two she is most likely to be seen is, as they require little effort to maintain, something that greatly suits Amaterasu’s own personal style on most days.
Like most members of her clan, Amaterasu has eyes that appear as though they are looking through you, instead of looking at you. This distilling gaze is true even when the Byakugan is not active in her eye. The Jounin’s eyes are perhaps a bit of a rarity among the eyes of the Hyuuga Clan; for the most part, they seem to fit the standard description of much of the clan, being mostly the standard ivory or grey-ish color. However, as a unique mutation existing among the bloodline, Amaterasu’s eyes possess the slightest mix of a deep blue shade swirling through the natural ivory coloring of the Byakugan eye. To further her unique nature, Amaterasu’s unique blue shade within her eyes, seems to flair or deepen as she experiences feelings of intense emotion. This can give her quite an alluring look or quite an intimidating nature depending on the intensity and the feeling she has fallen victim of during that moment.
There are few words you could use to describe the young Jounin appearance. Her skin is such a ghostly white shade that many might wonder how she is capable of standing in even the slightest amount of sun without her skin burning to a crisp. Her raven black hair only serves to enunciate the white shade of her skin, conflicting with the white color in a way that causes bother her skin and hair to pop in the most attractive way, giving her an ethereal type of beauty and seems approachable to most because of this. She stands at only 165.1 cm, Amaterasu stands at exactly five feet and five inches (165.1 centimeters), weighing at one hundred and eleven pounds, (50.34 Kilograms). . Her frame is small but toned and well muscled, enabling her to be fast and dexterous and while small, she is still sturdy due to Shinobi Training. Although her frame hardly suits it, she possesses a rather intimidating bust as well as a pair of curvy wide hips, this aspect of her appearance often brings unwanted, but not unnoticed attention from many within the village, often which Amaterasu plays to her advantage.
- CLOTHING: Amaterasu is the type to wear clothing that is both functional and comfortable, this is to mean clothing that doesn’t inhibit her, but also can be used to her advantage against opponents or otherwise. Her actual clothing tends to vary depending on the task at hand, but she is most often seen in an outfit that highlights both practicalities in all areas of the field, including medical procedures, battle and personal time. It is most common for the young Jounin to wear a simple ensemble consisting of a simple white shirt, buttoned down the front and the sleeves pulled up just above her forearms. The shirt is tight enough to display her curvy form, while still being loos enough for her to utilize her natural flexibility and acrobatic nature without being hindered. It is most often that Amaterasu will wear the buttons open just a bit too low, enunciating her ample cleavage, revealing just enough skin to be distracting when it needs to be. Beneath the white shirt, she usually wears a low cut tank top of varying color which is always either too short or pulled up over her navel, yet the revealed skin is more often than not hidden by the shirt worn over it. Along with this she wears a simple pair black pant, form fitting over her long legs. Above her left knee she wears a small wrap connected to a simple pouch containing a varying number of shinobi equipment if she were to need it through the day; two similar pouches are located one on her right thigh and one over her the left side of her butt.
On more formal equations, Amaterasu may often don a dress of some sort. These dresses often vary in color and exact style, but they tend to the perfect mix between modesty and voyeuristic; although they are generally form fitting to the point where an onlooker can make note of every aspect, every curve of her body. Coupled with the form fitting nature, they may be cut in such a way to reveal the most tempting parts of her anatomy, strapless, low cut in the front or back, and/or often possessing a slit within the lower half of the dress revealing her legs as well as giving her enough room to move adequately if need be. However, she is never lacking in practicality, despite the dress nature of these outfits, she always makes sure to hide her weapons beneath the dress, generally strapped around her hip, as well as making sure that these outfits are designed in such a way that allows her to fight if the need does arise.
Other times, Amaterasu may even don an outfit specifically designed for battle. This black vest buttons in the front, with 10 buttons, one for each horizontal line that is designed into the vest. Furthermore, the fishnet garb has a clear black strap just below where the vest cuts out. Amaterasu wears a similar style fishnet thong, which is visible on the sides between her "X" strapped loose, tan pants. Though revealing, the pants are designed to allow for perfect movement of the hips, Amaterasu being trained to operate in the most efficient manner. The pants are held on by straps on the upper waist, which cross in the front to cover her in both the front and back. The dark tan pants have symmetrical streaks of black on the front with leather-guarded knees, the leather being the same style as her vest.
Along the sides of the pants are yellow streamers that are looped around the metal circles that clip on the side. These pants are without ankles, revealing her flexible, leather shoes that are spiked on the bottoms to give her better gripping on many types of terrain. Amaterasu also wears elbow slips that are the same dark tan as her pant, as well as possessing a similar black stripe across the front of them. These elbow guards serve to protect her arms slightly, but not more than her special gloves.She wears skintight, black gloves, which are designed to leave the pinky, pointer, and thumb exposed. Atop these initial gloves is a thicker wear of white cloth that snaps on the sides to insulate her hands. Her equipment is contained in normal pouches as well as within instead in her pants, which have zipper sides that zip down to create an expansive area in which she can keep her equipment.
PERSONALITY: Amaterasu is not only a woman of immense physical beauty, but she also has a rare type of emotional complexity. Most people see one side of the Jounin while in reality she exists as something entirely different. Intelligent, curious, manipulative, calm, protective, teasing, each of these words to describe part of her and yet, she may exhibit personal attributes that contradicts these entirely for she contains multitudes. Over the slightly more than two decades of life experiences Amaterasu possesses, it is safe to say that her personality and general outlook have changed and with a vast amount of variation from one to the next; however, there have been several traits that stick over each incarnation. It is only a matter of finding these traits through Amaterasu’s tendencies to mask her true self. Anyone wishing to get close to her must learn to look underneath the underneath, as one must always do in the life of a Shinobi.
A prime aspect of Amaterasu’s personality is her intelligence; even from a young child she was always rather intelligent, perhaps too much so for her own good. Having learnt to read at the age of 4, from that moment forward she devoured every ounce of knowledge she could get her hands on. Doubled with a overflow of curiosity and general nosy nature, Amaterasu was a nightmare as a child, constantly sticking her nose any place, many where it did not belong just to learn more of her surroundings. This general troublesome nature did not leave her entirely as she grew older, but it certainly became more controlled, at least in some extent. While still vastly curious, Amaterasu is able to tone it down, despite still absorbing every bit of information she can get her hands on, a large majority of her knowledge focused on the area of the physical form and medical, although this is not to mean that she is ignorant of other areas; she is well versed in areas ranging from art to village politics and one might call her an expert in manipulation.
Amaterasu could certainly be known as a mistress of seduction, despite her rather young age, her experience in manipulation stems far back into her life and she is most certainly aware of the ability to use certain charms to get a point across or get what she wants. As tempting as her lips may be, it is not uncommon for them to spew any number of lies if she can find something, an event, a word, a flaw to twist to her advantage. She is not the best liar in the world, but proficient enough to get away with it much of the time and it is very unlikely for her to walk away from a situation without getting whatever it she had sought when she entered it. Although, this does not mean that Amaterasu never is one to be honest, she merely is highly unlikely to let someone get close enough to be able to gleam the truth from her, as she is generally closed off and cold when it comes to honestly discussing anything personal.
Amaterasu learned very early that it nearly impossible to trust anyone, having closed herself off after her father’s death, she very rarely lets anyone into see her true self, to see the little girl hidden underneath the underneath. Instead she masks herself by keeping everyone at a distance, cutting them off at the knees if they nearly get close to breaking through her shell. She is most often cold and distant if it comes to discussing personal matters almost all the time. The only exception to this is if she has been drinking, acts which she does not do often as it tends to bring small exploitable chips into the armor she wears around herself, which may just allow the right person, in the right situation to break through and learn something truthful about the Jounin.
Perhaps some of Amaterasu’s biggest personal flaws are her pride, stubborn nature and her temper. Although at times she can be amazingly calm, just the smallest thing can set off her tempter, unleashing the most physically violent and verbally degrading war on whoever or whatever set her off. These bursts of unadulterated rage generally only last for a short time and burn out quickly, but one should never forget what Amaterasu says during anger, as it may just be infinitely important to maintaining your relationship with her. Her pride is another thing that seems to flare wildly and uncontrollably, all her life she has refused to be bested if she can help it and when she is bested, it generally is followed by an outburst of immense temper, this attribute only carries over in combat and training as she will refuse to believe she can be bested by an opponent and refusing to give up, even when her entire body protests at her.
Ultimately, Amaterasu is a very contradictive person, she can be harsh and kind, cruel and nurturing, open and hidden away depending on the time, the only way to truly keep track of her personality is to be one of the very few who are able to get close to her and stay there .

ELEMENTAL AFFINITIES: COMBAT STYLE:General:The only real way to describe Amaterasu's combat style is to first put emphasis on the fact that she is an extremely skilled shinobi, but only when you note her limited range of expertise. She is no jack of all trade, considering that she is so specialized in only the few areas that hold her interest and thus as little or no skill in the other areas of the Shinobi Spectrum. Her arsenal lacks any Fuuinjutsu, Genjutsu, Summons, or realistically any signficant amount Ninjutsu beyond that of Medical Techniques. Her skill with medical techniques developed only because of her morbid curiosity as well as an exercise to increase her chakra control to begin with. Instead of being skilled in all areas, her areas of skill are few in number, but are at levels of a high mastery.
Speed, Strength and Percision :. Her physical training, which has focused primarily on Taijutsu, and petite frame allows for her to move with speed which enhances her natural Hyuuga taijutsu style, already based on quick movements. It should be noted that Amaterasu possesses no real additives to her physical strength, her peak strength levels only reaching the average levels of someone who engages in her levels of exercise, but although she lacks innate strength, she makes up for in precision. However, her abilities form her clan is not the only physical weapons she has. She is extremely agile, allowing her to perform great acrobatic feats, as well make sharp turns and spins without disturbing her sense of balance. Her balance sense is amazing, as her medical knowledge permits her to understand how the organ of balance works, allowing her not to drop her stance or get dizzy often. Furthermore, she is incredibly flexible. Her already small frame helps with this, but Amaterasu is so flexible that she can bend over and touch her toes, which is impressive since she is bending over backwards.
Skill Areas: She does not have much Ninjutsu capabilities, and possesses no skill with Genjutsu. However, she is a Taijutsu expert, mastering her clan styles to their highest levels. Medical techniques, which are largely focused on chakra control, are Amaterasu's one and only real breach into the Ninjutsu realm. She is a very skilled medic, able to perform countless field procedures. This knowledge also affords to her a great understanding of the human body and how it functions. Amaterasu uses each of these attributes in combat well, utilizing her well trained mind to strategist against her opponent and her immense medical knowledge to bring them down with preciely aimed taijutsu strikes.

| THE BACKGROUND.
HISTORY:

Birth-Academy Amaterasu’s young life was most part not one of the most eventful, For the most part it was pretty simple and average. Born into a Hyuuga Main Family, Her Father was a Leaf Jonin, member of , a Taijutsu specialist and cousin to the main house named Satsuya Hyuuga. Her Mother, Kana Hyuuga, was an artisan and painter renowned within the clan. The couples only child, Amaterasu began learning of her clan's heritage and of her blood given abilities at a young age, gaining the clans attention for both how easily she learned to control her chakra and for how strong her early Byakugan proved to be despite how young she was. She would have the Hyuuga Curse seal placed on her forehead at the age of 3 and would first learn to activate her Byakugan (through the use of handseals as is customary for Hyuuga children) at the age of 6. Her father would begin training her in the ways of Jyuuken from the early age of three. The Art would fascinate her, she would put all her efforts into learning it and honing her skills, most of her free time was spent practicing. Her father, protective, was weary of seeing his daughter becoming a Shinobi, but seeing the attraction the whole thing held for his daughter he knew she would choose the path, so he would take a large role in her training and would spend much time having her hone her Byakugan as well as heavily emphasize speed training for her. Amaterasu would shortly join the academy, that day had been the most exiting that she could remember. Unfortunately for her, her father passed away a few weeks later, falling while on a mission. His sword was given to the Family, Amaterasu has had it ever since and has since worn it as her own. The loss was difficult for her and pushed her even further to become the best Ninja she could, determined to make her father proud. Her mother however suffering the loss of her husband and fearing that her daughter growing to be a Ninja might result in her loss as well, pulled Amaterasu out of the academy in her first year. Eventually however, in part due to pressure from the clan due to how potent the clan's gifts were in her blood, and due to Amaterasu's own unhappiness, she would come to changed her stance, allowing Amaterasu to return to the academy the following year. During that year away from the Academy, her uncle, Noburu Hyuuga, a skilled Jyuuken master himself, would take over her training. She would achieve impressive skill for her age, and would come to possess impressive speed. By the time she returned to the Academy her abilities in Taijutsu were by far the best in her class. Genin: Amaterasu graduated from the Academy at the age of 12, she would turn 13 two month later. her first team assignment did not last long, after one of the Genin departed with his family away from Konoha, and the second fell severely ill. She would spend several weeks awaiting a new assignment, spending her time training. Finally She would be assigned to Team Branch, under the tutelage of Mea Akira. There along with her team mates she would come to learn much. As well as the training she received from her Sensei, Amaterasu continued to study under her Uncle learning the “Path of Hearth” Style of Jyuuken, specializing in the Crane Palm Form of the style. It was early on that she would be assigned to a mission to Snow country to protect The soon to be queen of that nation along with several other Shinobi, including the Hyuuga Zasalamel, The Imani named Neiklot and the mysterious and Young Ranmaru with which she formed friendships and would later become romantically linked, that mission had been her first time heading out of Fire country, it was also the mission that first made her interested in learning med techniques after a local operative was seriously injured after taking a blow meant for her. Amaterasu would sign up and receive the approval to take the medical Ninja testing. Which she succeeded after undergoing a rather arduous test along with a number of other hopefuls. That mission had reunited her with Neiklot Imani who was undertaking the test as well as Ranmaru who was also trying out for Med Nin. Having become an Med Nin, she began training and learning medical techniques, and thought she has done quite well she hasn�t put as much effort as others might have to specialize in that field. She’d become a good field medic, and well trained in battle field treatment. During this first year Amaterasu also signed up to participate in the Tomo Ninja World Tournament hosted by the Famous Sage Soratodai Tomoushii. Fight her first round match during this time she would go against a fellow Konoha Genin named Zatoichi Sadao. She would win this closely disputed fight granting her passage into the second round. Amaterasu would participate in the Assault on enemy Artillery movement through the forest of Fire country when Oto Nin along with a large contingent of wanderers attempted to attack Konoha. She would fight hard in this full scale war, protecting her Family, loved ones, friend and village bringing out the fire in her. She gained a new appreciation and understanding of what duty meant and took the lesson to hear. After this incident Amaterasu was granted permission to participate in that year’s Chunnin exam. Amaterasu Would finally undertake her Chunnin exam shortly after the war as the favorite that year as well as that year's number 1 rookie. The first part of the exam would put her in the forest in a preset scenario where she had to rescue fellow Chunnin hopefuls without access to her more powerful abilities and more disturbingly for Amaterasu, without her Byakugan. In the end she succeeded in her rescue attempt using nothing but basic Academy jutsus. Amaterasu, having passed this part of the exam earning the first seed, skipped the first round of the Fighting portion of the exams. She would fight her first match in the second round to a draw against the young Mea Yori, earning passage into the third round where she went up against two opponents simultaneously in a three way match between herself, Mea Yori and once again Zatoichi Sadao. She would be the victor of this three way confrontation, confirming her first spot in that year's crop and earning her the reward of learning the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Having passed the exams, she would finally be granted the rank of Chunnin at the age of 13, just over 2 months before her 14th birthday. Chuunin: The following few weeks she would go with her uncle’s to train in new techniques, giving her access to many new directions with Jyuuken. he would then head out of the Village to learn on her own. It would be several months before she would return to once again take her place serving Konoha. During this departure Amaterasu would visit her Summoning Hawk’s home and study under them for a time, She would then head out to experience the world and find her place in it. During this expedition she came upon Tsuneo Nara, a Shinobi she had met when both took their exams together, coming to his aid as he attempted to capture escaped convicts they would set out together for the next two months. Their travels would take them to Rain country where, falling upon a village being abused and oppressed by a local Gang run by Shinobi pretending to be Akatsuki members, Tsuneo and Amaterasu came to the rescue of the villagers and put an end to their ring, an act that garnered them the attention of the Shiro Ku. Both would become members of the group shortly after, Amaterasu would first come to be paired with Dakara Gou of Suna until this one became the new Hokage of his village and subsequently left the organization, Amaterasu has kept contact with him over the years since. Amaterasu would also come to meet Long Fei of the Bird clan, allowing her to learn much about the history of her own Hawks. Amaterasu would come to the aid of an old friend in Neiklot Imani shortly after her return to Konoha, volunteering to partake in an expedition to rescue one of the Imani’s fellow clan mates, an expedition that would take them to Oto to fight a terrible monstrosity created from the experiments in that village. It was also during this period that Amaterasu discovered that Neiklot was actually part hyuuga and was actually named Tolkien, a discovery that at first did not sit well with her. Amaterasu would once again participate in the defense of Konoha when the rogue Barret Gou assaulted the village, holding the gates against a mass of clones she was able, with the aid of one Ibaku, to keep them from breaking through, though in the end the clones proved to be nothing more than a decoy move to keep their attention from the real goal of the attacker. Amaterasu would shortly be given command over her first team, team Teikan, taking on her first Genin students, Ken Kinzoku and Ryouzen Hyuuga. Undertaking a series of missions with them. This experience taught her a lot about leadership and group tactics, and of course she has grown rather attached to her Students. During this period Amaterasu would also begin undertaking training sessions with the Hokage himself, greatly expanding her understanding of the ninja arts and learning far more that she would have expected, this experience too was instrumental in making her the Shinobi she is today. Amaterasu would be sent to collect a scroll from a Shiro Ku informant, a simple task that became complicated after the scroll was stolen and the informant killed, forcing her to chase the culprits into Kumo where she came into hostilities with a Local ANBU operative, the incident ended without bloodshed after Amaterasu aided the operative to defend a local village from raiders and the two came to an agreement. Amaterasu would also partake in a number of spars, both for training and for testing, she would defeat the Kumo Chuiin Ren Taito, she would also win out against Kumo Jounin Fei in a Training spar, she would also defeat the Konoha Jounin Sebokik Nara in a full on spar. Her last tournament as a Chunnin would be a three way battle in against fellow Konoha Nin Hiro Onoda and Yagami Ryuu 6 months after turning 16, Amaterasu's mother would fall severely ill, through the next several months her condition would only worsen until finally Amaterasu, though she still hoped her mother would recover, was forced to admit that she would not. Taking the next few months off to tend to her, her Mother would finally pass away in the late summer months. This incident more than anything forced Amaterasu to grow up, now with both her parents gone, she was alone, her uncle would step in as he had when her father had passed and attempt to comfort her and take her in but this time Amaterasu decided she needed to grow, she needed to become her own woman. Seeking change the Hyuuga would return to her family in the Kumogakure home for a period to once again study with them, away from all that reminded her Konoha, her family etc.. She would return a few weeks later to be sent on a mission to retrieve a long since stolen secret Konoha scroll along with Zatoichi Sadao. The mission would take them to Kumo where they were drawn into a family and clan dispute, forcing them to face more than they had expected. This too the pair would succeed in and finally on returning to Konoha they would be rewarded once more with a Promotion. At the age of 19, a months before turning 20 Amaterasu would be promoted to the rank of Jounin.

What a dreadfully dreary day."She smiled to a passing stall owner, glancing across the merchandise he was covering in case of rain. A mist covered the village of Kusa on this day, giving a depressing tone to Yuki's walk. Few other members of the village were about on this dull day, only those shinobi and civilian alike, who were required to be out, be it from a task set by them or their jobs. Her brown eyes, examine everyone she passed with a kind expression, a false kindness and as always a false smile, but they needn't know that. She examined them all with her eyes, seeking to gain any sort of understanding she could about the members around them. Many of the villagers she passed carried umbrellas, yet Yuki saw little point, she doubted the mist would pass or the weather would change until the next day at least.
Not caring about the weather of the day, Yuki wore a white summer dress which covered her legs just below her knees. Around her waist she wore a deep purple sash, which was worn to disguise a small tool pouch. She may not have carried an umbrella, but she was certain to be prepared if she needed to defend herself even if she could not discern any immediate threat from anyone around her.

The flash was quick, but she made sure the man would see the change from calm brown to crimson blood lust as she stepped closer. "Were you just checking me out?" she flashed him a smirk as she stepped closer, her white dress flowing outward as she stepped within arms reach of the stranger. She did not bother waiting for a response before continuing, "Well, yes. I am. But I must say, asking my occupation before my name, that's rather rude.", she gave him a playful scowl as her gaze slowly moved up and down his form. "And what of you, Mister? Are you a Shinobi?" Yuki glanced at the man's face, her brown eyes calm in thought. 'He is. After all, he managed to pick me out, without any visual cues. ' Her current lack of shinobi attire meant, that to most she would appear normal. Yet the man had seen through the small deception. To Yuki, sensing her chakra levels seemed like the most likely route to discerning her identity a they were naturally higher than the levels of their civilian counter parts.

This style, or rather teaching originates from martial artist that wish to combine the best of each forms and combining them into one style. Particular weaknesses are that each style has a weakness but a plus side with this is Jeet Kune Do practioners have the element of surprise on hand and if the user has never seen the style before, it is relatively difficult to counter. Philosophy I have not invented a "new style," composite, modified or otherwise that is set within distinct form as apart from "this" method or "that" method. On the contrary, I hope to free my followers from clinging to styles, patterns, or molds. Remember that Jeet Kune Do is merely a name used, a mirror in which to see "ourselves". . . I always believe that the easy way is the right way. Jeet Kune-Do is simply the direct expression of one's feelings with the minimum of movements and energy. The closer to the true way of Kung Fu, the less wastage of expression there is. Finally, a Jeet Kune Do man who says Jeet Kune Do is exclusively Jeet Kune Do is simply not with it. He is still hung up on his self-closing resistance, in this case anchored down to reactionary pattern, and naturally is still bound by another modified pattern and can move within its limits. He has not digested the simple fact that truth exists outside all molds; pattern and awareness is never exclusive. Again let me remind you Jeet Kune Do is just a name used, a boat to get one across, and once across it is to be discarded and not to be carried on one's back.
Principles and Techniques The following are principles that The Originator incorporated into his Jeet Kune Do.[3] He felt these were universal combat truths that were self evident, and would lead to combat success if followed. Familiarity with each of the "Four ranges of combat", in particular, is thought to be instrumental in becoming a "total" martial artist.
JKD teaches that the best defense is a strong offense, hence the principle of an "intercepting fist". For a person to attack another hand-to-hand, the attacker must approach the target. This provides an opportunity for the attacked person to "intercept" the attacking movement. The principle of interception may be applied to more than intercepting physical attacks. Non-verbal cues (subtle movements that an opponent may be unaware of) may be perceived or "intercepted", and thus be used to one's advantage.
The "Five ways of attack", categories which help JKD practitioners organize their fighting repertoire, comprise the offensive teachings of JKD. The concepts of "Stop hits & stop kicks", and "Simultaneous parrying & punching", borrowed from épée fencing's and Wing Chun's concepts of single fluid motions which attack while defending, comprise the defensive teachings of JKD. These concepts were modified for unarmed combat and implemented into the JKD framework by the originator, to complement the principle of interception.
'Be like water' The originator believed that martial systems should be as flexible as possible. He often used water as an analogy for describing why flexibility is a desired trait in martial arts. Water is infinitely flexible. It can be seen through, and yet at other times it can obscure things from sight. It can split and go around things, rejoining on the other side, or it can crash through things. It can erode the hardest rocks by gently lapping away at them or it can flow past the tiniest pebble.
The originator believed that a martial system should have these attributes. JKD students reject traditional systems of training, fighting styles and the Confucian pedagogy used in traditional kung fu schools because of this lack of flexibility.
JKD is claimed to be a dynamic concept that is forever changing, thus being extremely flexible. "Absorb what is useful; Disregard that which is useless" is an often quoted by the originators maxim. JKD students are encouraged to study every form of combat possible. This is believed to expand one's knowledge of other fighting systems; to both add to one's arsenal as well as to know how to defend against such tactics.
Economy of motion Jeet Kune Do seeks to waste no time or movement, teaching that the simplest things work best. Economy of motion is the principle by which JKD practitioners achieve: • Efficiency: An attack which reaches its target in the least amount of time, with maximum force.
• Directness: Doing what comes naturally in a learned way . • Simplicity: Thinking in an uncomplicated manner; without ornamentation.
This is meant to help a practicioner conserve both energy and time; two crucial components in a physical confrontation. Maximized force seeks to end the battle quickly due to the amount of damage inflicted upon the opponent. Rapidity aims to reach the target before the opponent can react, which is half-beat faster timing, learned in Wing Chun and Western boxing.[4] Learned techniques are utilized in JKD to apply these principles to a variety of situations.
• Stop hits & stop kicks
"When the distance is wide, the attacking opponent requires some sort of preperation. Therefore, attack him on his preperation of attack." "To reach me, you must move to me. Your attack offers me an opportunity to intercept you."This means intercepting an opponent's attack with an attack of your own instead of a simple block. It is for this concept Jeet Kune Do is named. JKD practitioners believe that this is the most difficult defensive skill to develop. This strategy is a feature of some traditional eastern martial arts, as well as an essential component of western épée fencing. Stop hits & kicks utilize the principle of economy of motion by combining attack and defense into one movement thus minimizing the "time" element.
• Simultaneous parrying & punching
When confronting an incoming attack, the attack is parried or deflected and a counter attack is delivered at the same time. Not as advanced as a stop hit but more effective than blocking and counter attacking in sequence. This is also practiced by some eastern martial arts. Simultaneous parrying & punching utilizes the principle of economy of motion by combining attack and defense into two movements thus minimizing the "time" element and maximizing the "energy" element. Efficiency is gained by utilizing a parry rather than a block. By definition a "block" stops an attack whereas a parry merely re-directs an attack. Redirection has two advantages: It requires less energy to execute. It utilizes the opponents energy against them by creating an imbalance. Efficiency is also gained in that the opponent has less time to react to the nullification of their attack while having to worry about defending an incoming attack.
• Low kicks
JKD practitioners believe they should target their kicks to their opponent's shins, knees, thighs, and mid section. These targets are the closest to the foot, provide more stability and are more difficult to defend against. However, as with all other JKD principles nothing is "written in stone". If a target of opportunity presents itself, even a target above the waist, one could take advantage of the situation without feeling hampered by this principle. Maintaining low kicks utilizes the principle of economy of motion by reducing the distance a kick must travel thus minimizing the "time" element. Low kicks are also more difficult to detect and thus guard against.
The four ranges of combat
• Kicking • Punching • Trapping • Grappling
Jeet Kune Do students train in each of these ranges equally. According to Lee, this range of training serves to differentiate JKD from other martial arts. Lee stated that most but not all traditional martial systems specialize in training at one or two ranges. Bruce Lee's theories have been especially influential and substantiated in the field of Mixed Martial Arts, as the MMA Phases of Combat are essentially the same concept as the JKD combat ranges. As a historical note, the ranges in JKD have evolved over time. Initially the ranges were categorized as short or close, medium, and long range.[5] These terms proved ambiguous and eventually evolved into their more descriptive forms although there may still be others who prefer the three categories.
Five ways of attack • Simple Angular Attack (SAA)/Simple Direct Attack (SDA).Is a simple motion (Punch or Kick) which moves with no effort to conceal it, directly to the target on the most economical route. It can also be indirect, beginning on one line and ending on another. Such as a punch that starts to the stomach (mid line) and ends on the chin (high line). SAA is an attack that is launched from an unanticipated angle that is achieved by moving in such a way as to create an open line into which to strike.[6]
• Attack By Combinations (ABC). This is using multiple rapid attacks, with volume of attack as a means of overcoming the opponent.
• Progressive Indirect Attack (PIA). Simulating an attack to one part of the opponent's body followed by attacking another part as a means of creating an opening.
• Hand Immobilization Attack (HIA) and its counterpart Foot Immobilization attack, which make use of trapping/parrying to limit the opponent's function with that appendage.
• Attack By Drawing (ABD). The goal when using attack by draw is to "draw" the opponent into a committed attack by baiting him into what looks like an exposed target, then intercepting his/her motion. One can execute a motion that invites a counter, then counter attack them as he takes the bait. . The centerline is an imaginary line drawn vertically along the center of a standing human body; and also refers to the space directly in front of that body. If we draw an isosceles triangle on the floor, for which our body forms the base, and our arms form the equal legs of the triangle, then h (height of the triangle) is that same centerline. The Wing Chun concept is to exploit, control and dominate an opponent's centerline. All attacks, defenses, and footwork are designed to guard your own centerline while entering your opponent's centerline space. Lee incorporated this theory into JKD from Wing Chun.
The three guidelines for centerline are: • The one who controls the centerline will control the fight. • Protect and maintain your own centerline while you control and exploit your opponent's. • Control the centerline by occupying it.
This notion is closely related to maintaining control of the center squares in the strategic game chess. The concept is obviously present in Xiangqi (Eastern chess), where an "X" is drawn on the game board, in front of both players' general and advisors.
Combat realism
One of the premises that is incorporated in Jeet Kune Do was "combat realism". It insist that martial arts techniques should be incorporated based upon their effectiveness in real combat situations. This would differentiate JKD from other systems where there was an emphasis on "flowery technique". The flashy "flowery techniques" would arguably "look good" but were often not practical or prove ineffective in street survival and self-defense situations. This premise would also differentiate JKD from other "sport" oriented martial arts systems that where geared towards "tournament" or "point systems". The originator felt that these systems were "artificial" and fooled its practitioners into a false sense of true martial skill.
The originator felt that because these systems favored a "sports" approach they incorporated too many rule sets that would ultimately handicap a practitioner in self defense situations. He also felt that this approach to martial arts became a "game of tag" which would lead to bad habits such as pulling punches and other attacks; this would again lead to disastrous consequences in real world situations. Because of this perspective, the originator utilized safety gear from various other contact sports to allow him to spar with opponents "full out". This approach to training allowed practitioners to come as close as possible to real combat situations with a high degree of safety.
Absorbing what is useful
This is the idea that a martial artist can only learn techniques in their proper context, through a holistic approach. Styles provide more than just techniques: They also offer training methods, theories, and mental attitudes. Learning these factors allows a student to experience a system in what the originator called its "totality". Only through learning a system completely will an artist be able to, "absorb what is useful," and discard the remainder. Real combat training situations allow the student to learn what works, and what doesn't. The critical point of this principle is that the choice of what to keep is based on personal experimentation with various opponents over time. It is not based on how a technique may look or feel, or how precisely the artist can mimic tradition. In the final analysis, if the technique is not beneficial in combat, it is discarded. The Originator believed that only the individual could come to understand what worked; based on critical self analysis, and by, "honestly expressing oneself, without lying to oneself."

This technique is the activation of the ability from the eyes previous dormant state. When activated the users lavender eyes become more focused, their pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one small blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The user is able to see into vasts distances in which a regular eye cannot behold. They are capable of seeing insects behind trees with distinct perception and look behind wall with the Byakugan's ability. This jutsu allows the user to emit a constant stream of chakra from their palms, creating extremely sharp chakra blades. With their natural flexibility, they can reach any point around themselves, allowing them to hit any target within their field of vision. While using this jutsu, the user moves extremely fast (their movements become a blur), allowing them to hit hundreds of targets with extreme precision, much like the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. It is so precise that it can cut smaller targets (like bees) in half. The technique is powerful enough to knock back a a boulder. With the addition of the users flexibility, the technique creates an "absolute defense" effect similar to that of the Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, though the cutting nature of the chakra prevents any outside force from restricting it. Name: Doku Kiri - Poison Mist Rank: B Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: N/A Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user concentrates chakra in their gullet and lungs; before inserting a toxin into their mouth. Upon exhaling, the toxin is transformed into a gaseous state, and expelled into the air to create a 5 meter radial cloud resembling the characteristics of the poison used, in its gas state. The cloud diffuses through the air into a harmless chemical combination after five posts. The poison must be inhaled for a minimum of 2 posts total to take effect, unless stated otherwise in the poison description itself. The poison used must exist in the user's arsenal and be readily available. The properties of the poison must be stated in conjunction with this jutsu. If the poison has no gas state, or the gas state requires a high boiling point, this technique cannot be used with the corresponding poison.

When their charged hands reach the body of their target, they can extend the chakra internally into the targets body to cut and neatly slice their muscles and blood vessels without harming the surface skin. This technique can be used in battle, but because of its hectic nature, the fine precision required for an instant kill is not feasible. Because the brain and body communicate using electrical impulses, the user can use the field to disrupt her/his targets ability to move. Name: Saikan Chuushutsu no Jutsu - Fine Affliction Extraction Rank: B Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: Saikan Chuushutsu no Jutsu is a skill used by medical ninja to remove harmful poisons from a patient's body. The ninja will infuse their chakra into liquid, which they will insert into the patient. They will then use the liquid as a medium to draw out the poison from the cells. This mix can then be removed from the body. Depending on the deadliness of the poison, further treatment with an antidote or medicine may be required. The technique allows the medical ninja to use the hair of the one injured as a medium to reconstruct damaged body tissue. The extent of the damage will control how difficult and long the procedure is. The injured person will be placed in the center of a square marked with rites for the procedure. Name: Zetsushi Nensan - Tongue Tooth Sticky Acid Rank: A Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A highly concentrated acidic paste is suddenly released from the mouth. The acid boasts such high density and concentration it dilutes even stone, vaporizing it. There are no prerequisite moves to do before this jutsu's activation. Thanks to this, the user can easily strike quickly and catch an enemy off-guard with the attack. Name:Hakke Nuru Kakumaku [Eight Trigrams: Null Diaphragm] Rank:A Type:Taijutsu-Medical Range:Close [0-5m] Element:N/A Description: This is a simple Hyūga style move that was designed for the purpose of treating patients that are hyperventilating. This technique targets through chakra points that are located on the thoracic diaphragm of the human body, right upon the mid-section under the lungs. This technique uses a normal method for Hyūga attacking the chakra system, but is done so with good medical knowledge. Essentially, but striking these three points extremely quickly will paralyzed the diaphragm, causing the muscular sheet to stop contracting. In doing this, the lungs will not be given enough rough within the chest to expand, and the target will be unable to breath deeply. Doing this for a short period before reversing it, which is done by striking the points once more, will cause someone that is hyperventilating to calm in their breathing. However, this technique is effective in combat, as attacking these three points practically all at once will make it so that the opponent cannot breath well, only being able to take very short, breaths that last lest then a second. Limiting the breathing in this way means that the opponent will not be able to fight without serious danger, as the body will not be given appropriate levels of oxygen for activity, and will only have enough capabilities to sustain itself when held perfectly still. [b]Name:[/b] Doku Kiri - Poison Mist [b]Rank:[/b] B [b]Type:[/b] Medical Ninjutsu [b]Range:[/b] Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) [b]Element:[/b] N/A [b]Description:[/b] After performing the necessary hand seals, the user concentrates chakra in their gullet and lungs; before inserting a toxin into their mouth. Upon exhaling, the toxin is transformed into a gaseous state, and expelled into the air to create a 5 meter radial cloud resembling the characteristics of the poison used, in its gas state. The cloud diffuses through the air into a harmless chemical combination after five posts. The poison must be inhaled for a minimum of 2 posts total to take effect, unless stated otherwise in the poison description itself. The poison used must exist in the user's arsenal and be readily available. The properties of the poison must be stated in conjunction with this jutsu. If the poison has no gas state, or the gas state requires a high boiling point, this technique cannot be used with the corresponding poison. [b]Chakra Cost:[/b] 15

Because the brain and body communicate using electrical impulses, the user can use the field to disrupt her/his targets ability to move. What results is commands to move one body part being relayed to another, making it near impossible for them to move unless they have high skill and understanding of the body. [b]Name:[/b] Zetsushi Nensan - Tongue Tooth Sticky Acid [b]Rank:[/b] A [b]Type:[/b] Medical Ninjutsu [b]Range:[/b] Close (0m - 5m) [b]Element:[/b] N/A [b]Description:[/b] A highly concentrated acidic paste is suddenly released from the mouth. The acid boasts such high density and concentration it dilutes even stone, vaporizing it. There are no prerequisite moves to do before this jutsu's activation. Thanks to this, the user can easily strike quickly and catch an enemy off-guard with the attack. The acid can easily be removed with water, and can be neutralized by applying 25 chakra to the location struck. [b]Chakra Cost:[/b] 25

minimum age for a Jounin is 25, please boost your age by at least three years.
- Fighting Styles
need to be severely limited, you're making your character extremely overpowered with all of the styles you've put in.
- Gentle Step;
very much so pointless. It's simply a combination of both the Speed and Evasiveness Special Characteristics. You've basically taken a style anyone could use with those two SC's and limited it to just yourself being able to use.
- Perfect Balance;
definitely not. No one has perfect balance and no one should be able to control having perfect balance. Even tight rope walkers have to hold a gigantic pole in order to keep some form of balance and yet many manage to fall doing so. This would also render most knock - back techniques pointless against you and you wouldn't have to break a sweat doing so.
- Kamiken;
if you were solely a Medic, I could understand this being useful. Considering you're a Hyuuga though, this doesn't make much sense to have at all and it also adds yet more overpower-ness to your character, not to mention the fact how overpowered the style actually is! This needs greatly nerfing.
- Crane Form;
"The Byakugan's ability to detect all movement within a certain radius of the Hyuuga and its ability to track movements with prefect precision being key" That isn't the ability of the Byakugan, that's an ability of the Sharingan. Your description on how fast the moves can actually travel are far too exaggerated as well, needs nerfing. Ba Gua Zhang, Tai Chi and American Kenpo. Basically three styles in one, which is a definite no. In order to have a style like this, you'd have to train each and every individual style first and then combine all three together.
- Eight Triagrams: Finger Bullet;
this technique reminds me of the Chakra Needle Technique and the reason that works is because they're shaped like needles. Pointy and sharp, meaning they can actually penetrate a targets skin and effectively their chakra system. Orbs though, they're round and smooth and it would seem very unlikely for them to even penetrate the skin. On top of this, you'd need to mention how far the orbs would reach before they disappear.
- Chakra Tate;
either the Chakra Costs are mixed up or the Rank needs editing, because the two don't match each other.
- Jūken-yaibi;
"while normal Gentle First Style is not focused around causing physical damage" Huh...? This technique doesn't really make much sense. How can it cause very minor outer physical pain, yet essentially wreck up an opponents entire organ system? This technique is definitely overpowered for a B - Rank and would face denial.
- Hakke Tenrai no Shin;
Hakke Hazen Hougeki [Eight Trigrams: Crumbling Mountain Bombardment] has been removed from the Hyuuga Clan and thus this technique either requires editing or removal if it mimics the mentioned technique.
- Hakkeshō Tenraikanshō;
the technique offers a lack of explanation into how it actually protects an ally, as they would be forced outside the barrier, at least if I'm reading it correctly. The technique also has too far of a protection range, fifteen metres? That's a huge amount of space you'd be able to cover.
- Hakke Sanjūnikō Shō;
Too low ranked, lack of clarity in what in physically does to a person and Soldier Pills are banned on US, thus this technique would be banned. Also the minimum Chakra Cost for a C - Rank is 5.
- Hakke Nuru Kakumaku;
The technique will require a minimum amount of posts for how long the mentioned parts stay paralysed. It's also far too low to be C - Rank given the power it holds and how fast you effectively travel to hit the three points. You need to lower the speed and increase the rank to about an A - Rank level.
