THE INFO.
Name: Uzumaki, Kakkō Nickname: The Konoha Rose or Rosy by his friends Age: 14 years of age Gender: Male
Appearance:
Kakkō stands exactly 5'5" in height and displays a very athletic and well toned body, weighing in at about 130 pounds. Like almost all Uzumaki before him, his complexion takes on a very pale and healthy-looking skin tone that is blemish free in nature. Accompanying this complexion is another prominent trait of his clan, a set of thick flowing red hair which is styled in spiked up fashion that can often be seen protruding in many different directions at once. This will also make Kakkō's hair appear very wild and untamed at times, especially when paired with a set of piercing emerald green colored eyes that can stun a lesser person at first glance. Underneath these piercing eyes are a pair of fang-looking sealing tattoos which he uses to store various items and weapons for future use. Feeling proud of his Uzumaki roots and different complexion, Kakkō has taken the proper means of standing out amongst his peers through the use of his common shinobi attire. Although simplistic in nature to suit his tastes, Kakkō wears a grey mesh T-shirt accompanied by a pair of black loose fitting shinobi pants, which stop just short of the ankle. Continuing with the flow of his outfit, the pants are tucked into the tops of his grey open-toed shinobi boots, that match the grey sash that is worn around his midsection. This sash also doubles as a means of securing Kakkō's storage pouches to his lower back, which only add to the deadliness of his character. Lastly, Kakkō wears a solid black hooded, long sleeved cloak which covers the majority of his body. The cloak starts near his neckline, right below his choker style forehead protector, which flows seamlessly down his body, while the elongated sleeves conceal his arms from actions he might take to catch his opponents off-guard. As it continues downwards, the cloak stops just above his grey shinobi boots which can be seen protruding from the base of it.
Forehead Protector: Not wanting to interfere with his flowing red hair, Kakkō folds his forehead protector in a headband fashion and wears it as loose-fitting choker around his neck.
Personality:
Unlike most other shinobi who share a common story of their own tragedies, this is not the case when describing the life of Kakkō. Much like other wealthy families, Kakkō was given everything he had ever wanted, never having to experience the hardships that the world puts forth for every individual. As such, this has given him an isolated or sheltered outlook on life as a whole, as he displays an almost child like innocence with all his mannerisms. Though he is a Genin for Konohagakure, Kakkō still regards himself as a child still, almost to the point of ignorance. Although this is not to be mistaken for common stupidity, he just prefers to believe that the world is still as simple as black and white, and that their will always be some good located within every person. As such, Kakkō can always be seen with a playful smile across his face, even when the situation does not call for such a display. This of course will cause much confusion for others trying to analyze his thought patterns, as well as any actions he may proceed to make. This is especially true when discussing Kakkō's playful or childlike mannerisms that he uses on a regular basis, whether it be during a fight or just a casual social setting.
Putting his exterior demeanor aside, Kakkō's nature is one of a kindhearted and well versed young man. Always taking his training as well as family matters with the utmost seriousness, regardless of how small or major they might be. Kakkō holds high respect for all members of his family and clan, for they are ones that what keep him striving for greatness even in the face of disheartening odds. Kakkō is willing to risk everything if it will bring peace to the people he loves and cares for. However, this is not to be confused for arrogant pride or ignorance, for he will retreat in order to formulate a plan towards the greater good of the situation. Kakkō will always listen to the pleas of others and to give them the benefit of the doubt, so long as they earn it. But no matter the outcome, he can always be seen with a smile across his face and a vibrant look in his eyes, just waiting to prove to the world what one shinobi is capable of. What lays ahead for Kakkō is unclear, but so long as he has his family and friends by his side, he is more than ready to face anything that fate might have in store for him.

THE NINJA.
Origin: Hi no Kuni Affiliation: Konohagakure no Sato Rank: Genin (C) Specialties: Fuuinjutsu | Ninjutsu Elemental Affinities: Katon (Fire) | Fuuton (Wind) Combat Style: Being part of the Uzumaki clan, as well as a Ninjutsu user, Kakkō detests close combat and prefers to fight his opponents from a distance whenever possible. He will often lead his assaults with Ninjutsu, while still maintaining solid defensive and offensive Fuuinjutsu seals to greater enhance his potential. Once the opponent has been exhausted from the constant bombardment of long ranged attacks, Kakkō will proceed to go for the final blow to end the confrontation outright. Although during this time, Kakkō will often "play" with his targets using jesting mannerisms and phrases, as a way to not only challenge them physically, but mentally as well. With his outward personality related much to that of a child, these jesting actions can relate closely with immature hazing, much like a little kid might be seen doing.
Special Characteristics:
Name: One-Handed Seals Rank: C Type: Physical Physical Requirements: N/A Training Requirements: A 600 word training post is required to gain this special characteristic. Description: the ninja discovers a unique talent which allows them to mix chakra by performing seals with only one hand. With an ability such as this the ninja can fight while also performing jutsu, delivering surprise attacks to their enemies. Since those who can perform one-handed seals are naturally good at what their talents, they are even capable of performing hand seals behind themselves, leaving the enemy oblivious to the ninja's next attack.
THE BACKGROUND.
An Uzumaki is Born Arc:
Like most members of the Uzumaki clan, its people hailed from far away lands that seeked to find permanent settlements within various hidden villages scattered throughout. Being blessed with extraordinary Fuuinjutsu abilities, the members of the clan had worked as contractors of sorts, by utilizing their particular skill sets in protecting a village's defensive seals. Of these proud clan members, a young female Uzumaki had stood out amongst the rest in the village of Konohagakure, being known to others simply as Tengaar. Although clan members mainly worked to strengthen the defenses of the village, like all shinobi they where required to partake in a variety of missions to test there limits. Tengaar had been assigned to escort an important merchant dignitary back to Konohagakure. This dignitary went by the name of Uhra Karaya, who provided a good 35% of the goods being provided to Kaminari no Kuni at the time. Coming from a merchant group called the Karaya clan, their abilities of purchase and trade where legendary to the people of Konohagakure.
Throughout their travels back to the market districts of Konohagakure, the two shared many stories of venture, quickly becoming attached to each other within the short amount of time they shared. By the time the two reached the Fire Country, their feelings for each other had magnified beyond the point of just speculation, as Uhra asked for Tengaar to stay with him in his estate within the market district provinces. Although quite hesitant at first, knowing full well that in doing so she would need to give up her shinobi lifestyle, she agreed knowing that she may never have a chance at this love again. Within a few months, the couple where married, and by the years end their child was well on the way. Their baby boy was born on March 3rd it the loving arms his parents, which they rightly named Kakkō Uzumaki, for which they could not have been more joyous for their newest addition.
The Humble Beginnings Arc:
During Kakkō's early years, he lived a very sheltered life, never leaving the side of his overprotective parents. For many hours he would learn the ways of the merchant from his father as well listening to the many adventurous stories of his mother's past. Being born into a successful merchant family, he was given everything he ever wanted, though nothing that filled the emptiness inside of his his heart. Although he respected what his father did for the well-being of their family, he longed to experience the exhilarating life that all shinobi held. It was during this time, he discovered that he too held the unique abilities of the Uzumaki clan that had been passed on to him through his mother. Knowing the odds of receiving such a unique gift, Kakkō was thrilled to disclose the find with his mother as a way of gaining her approval to join the Konohagakure Ninja Academy, to which she could not have been more joyous. From that point on she explained everything about the powers he now possessed, as well as fully taking charge of the rigorous training he would need to undergo in order to control such abilities. By the age of seven Kakkō was already enrolled in the Ninja Academy, while Tengaar's rigorous training exercises she had planned for him where well on there way.
Academy Training and Genin Arc:
The training that Kakkō endured during his days at the Academy was quite relentless to say the least, his mother sparing no special treatment towards him as a way to toughen his resolve. Although this training had made his Fuuinjutsu abilities quite adept, Tengaar could not break him of his child-like personality, which he displayed even on serious occasions. Having seen enough anger in bitterness in this world, she found no reason to push him to change, for she found it refreshing to see that her son held so much kindness within him. It was also during this time at the Academy that Kakkō realized just how much of an outsider his red hair made him amongst his peers, although the same could be be said for all genders of his class. Though he was harassed and bullied on a daily bases by the other male students, Kakkō couldn't help but notice that almost all the girls within his class had adored him because of it. While he learned to tolerate the other boys within his class, the girls had already given him the nickname of "Rosy", to which he embraced to the fullest. He of course knew full well that the more friendly the girls where to him, the more the other boys became jealous, and the more they hated Kakkō for it. Although Kakkō could care less at this fact, for he used every opportunity to get under their skin and upset them, which worked with flying colors so to speak. Towards the end of his days at the Academy, Kakkō had learned much in the way of the shinobi, and began to show signs of a very prominent Fuuinjutsu user thanks to his mother's training. Now a Genin for Konohagakure, Kakkō continues to strive hard with everything he sets out to do, waiting to show the world what an Uzumaki is truly capable of. What lays ahead for Kakkō is still very much unclear, but so long as he has his family and friends by his side, he is more than ready to face anything that fate might have in store for him.
Roleplay Sample:
Another dreary day cast itself over the lands of Kirigakure once more, though the lands remained dry for now as the threat of rain clouds loomed overhead. Though this never surprised Uhra all that much, from having lived with it for some forty or so years or so, it had become nothing more than a fond memory to him now. To be honest nothing really surprised him all that much now a days, for having tread both the path of the shinobi as well as a merchant, Uhra had seen more than his fair share of unexplainable in his day, and the weather was certainly not high on that list. Although he was now at the humbled age of forty five, Uhra still had the body type of his shinobi past, displaying a very muscled and athletic physic. His wears remained the same ever since his retirement into civilian life, including the blue and red scarf that laid wrapped around his head to keep his unruly brown hair in check. Maybe it was just his way of still hanging onto the past still being a Yuki Elder and all, though he wouldn't give up the life he had now for the world. Uhra was a family man after all and loved every minute of it, from his loving wife Lucia, to his honorable son Kaim, Uhra was a lucky man indeed he thought as he cracked a subtle smile of endearment to himself.
Residing the day in his shop, the Numara Trade Center, Uhra had been keeping busy with balancing the inventory logs for the entirety of the day. Yes today the shop was closed for business which allowed him a chance to catch his breath from the long week of buying, selling and trading, although his door always remained open for family and the like. He had also received word that day from his Brother in Law Jimba, that his nephew Hugo was coming to deliver some valuable trade documents of the other Karayan sector stores so that he may review them. After all their family had been chosen by the Karaya Clan to rule over the Kizoku Province since the leadership of the clan was passed to his Father in Law Beechum. This of course making Uhra a chief adviser of the Karaya Clan's decision making, seeing as he had been mentored by Beechum personally in the ways of the merchant. Ironically it was already two hours past noon, which had Uhra slightly concerned considering Jimba said that he would be at the Numara Trade Center no later than noon. Letting out an deep sigh he mumbled to himself "It's not like Hugo to be late...I wonder if he's gotten himself into some trouble?" and returned to his inventory log, eagerly awaiting the arrive of his nephew with the documents.
THE ARSENAL.
Academy Jutsu:
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu | Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Name: Henge no Jutsu | Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu | Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Name: Kai | Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu | Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu | Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza | Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza | Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. Uzumaki Jutsu:
Name: Chakura Kusari | Chakra Chains Rank: C-S Type: Bloodline Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10m - 20m) Description: Chakura Kusari is a technique used by members of the Uzumaki Clan. The clan member using their, "special chakra", can release powerful chakra chains from their palms which they can freely control with their hand gestures. The strength of these chains is directly proportionate to the rank of the technique. A C-Ranked chain is as strong as a rusty iron chain; B-Ranked chains are as strong as regular iron chains; A-rank chains are as strong as durable steel chains; S-ranked chains are as strong as Titanium Alloy. These blue angelic cords are very versatile, they are capable of binding, throwing, whipping, grappling and performing various other maneuvers the user may see fit. The number of chains an Uzumaki can product is in proportion to their skill. A C-Ranked Uzumaki is able to create a single chains, B-Ranked two chains and A-Ranked Uzumaki is able create three chakra chains, and S-Ranked Uzumaki is able to create four chakra chains. Name: Kusari Inban | Chain Seals Rank: D-S Type: Bloodline/Fuuinjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Description: This technique allows members of the Uzumaki clan to place seals on surfaces and targets at a distance; by sacrificing an additional chakra cost. By concentrating the seal on their chain, they can project a visual representation of the seal using chakra. Then, by controlling the chains to make contact with the surface or target, the seal can be placed on it at a distance. The end of the chain must make direct contact, and thus grappling a target will negate this ability entirely. The chakra cost for this technique varies based on the rank of the seal used. The user may only have 1 readied seal per active chain. Name: Kuchiyose Gyakuten no Fūin | Summoning Reversal Seal Rank: C-S Type: Fūinjutsu Range: - Description: Kuchiyose Gyakuten no Fūin is a technique used by members of the Uzumaki Clan. This technique requires the user to have chakra chains released for it utilizes their ability to summon seals upon contact. he user commands their chakra chains to touch their target, for when that happens a seal will be instantly placed upon their body. When this seal is placed on a summon, the user will sacrifice chakra equal to the summons rank and trigger the seals effects. The seal begins to glow with blue color and emit chakra chains from its markings. These chains grow in numbers and completely bind the summon no matter how large. The summon will then disperse back into their world and the summoner is unable to summon them again until 5 posts have passed. Chakra Cost: C-rank: 10CP; B-rank: 20CP; A-rank: 30CP; S-rank: 40CP
Name: Ekusupuro-Jon no Fūin | Explosion Seal Rank: C Type: Fūinjutsu Range: - Description: Ekusupuro-Jon no Fūin is a technique used by members of the Uzumaki Clan. This technique requires the user to have chakra chains released for it utilizes their ability to summon seals upon contact. From this technique, essentially the more chakra chains one can produce the more powerful it will be. The user commands their chakra chains to touch any surface for when that happens each chain places a small red seal on the surface. This seal detonates after three seconds with power equal to that of 2 explosive tags. This can be used to encase a target in a explosion or even detonate the person in hole, killing them. This technique is canceled once each chakra chains creates a explosion seal. This seal cannot be performed on chakra producing entities; such as humans, summons or pets. Fuuinjutsu:
Name: Gofuu Kekkai | Five Seal Barrier Rank: C Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: N/A Description: The five "kin" (prohibition) seals act together to form a barrier. To remove the barrier, all five tags must be removed at the same moment. They don't all have to be lumped together; being able to be at least a good hundred meters apart Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Faibuerementoshīru | Five Elemental Seal Rank: C-S Type: Fūinjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Description: This is a very tactical Fūinjutsu, which was developed by Kakkō to be not only defensive, but also offensive in nature as well. The jutsu allows the user to seal any of the five basic elemental chakra (Fire,Wind,Water,Earth,Lightning) into a black spiral seal, which can be created upon any surface so long as the cost of the jutsu being sealed in this manner is expended. Once a jutsu is sealed in this manner, the user may then expend an additional amount of chakra points equal to half of the sealed jutsu in order to release it back towards the opponent at full effect. In addition, the user may only seal jutsu equal to or below their own rank and may not seal any kind of advanced elements. Chakra Cost: I don't know if that sounds fair but let me know.
Katon Jutsu:
Name: Goukakyuu no Jutsu | Great Fireball Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it. Chakra Cost: 5 (2 per post)
Name: Housenka no Jutsu | Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Ryuuka no Jutsu | Dragon Fire Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: The user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu | Mist Waltz Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Fuuton Jutsu:
Name: Daitoppa | Great Breakthrough Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fuuton (Wind) Description: This is a relatively simple technique that creates a sudden gust of wind, but its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame. Chakra Cost: 9
Name: Kami Oroshi | Godly Wind from the Mountains Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Fuuton (Wind) Description: The user will generate a whirling vortex of wind which he or she can send snaking towards his or her target. Everything looks spiffy, though I'm not a 100% on the length of your personality and appearance, since the spoiler feature makes them look bigger See if you can add a line or two to each.
You are overweight with your current weight. Tone that down please.
Combat style is fine as it is. But if you feel you can add more do so. Your personality will need that second paragraph to go into a full paragraph. Not a half of it.
You're music needs to be taken off auto play. That will honestly get annoying when trying to add things to your application. You can keep it. Just not on auto play.
Done, expanded on both although I don't think I can't add that much more on combat style. Combat style is ever evolving as a character grows and put under unique circumstances. Its almost impossible to tell how a character will handle every situation, which makes it hard to expand upon.
