| Leafy branches reach towards the sun, the dewy green tips reflecting the bright rays of light, the sparkly liquid dripping down to the earth below in a shimmer of little diamonds. It's quiet here, the trees whispering and birds chirping the only sounds that fill the area. Occasionally, one will be able to catch the snuffling of a squirrel or the soft pounding of hooves on the earthen ground as deer chase one another. Bears, ironically enough, are not often found in this area, the large expanse of trees and foliage suffocating the berries that they prey on. In this area, a large maple tree looms, it's branches thick enough to be mistaken for a trunk of a tree. It has a looming presence to those that can spot it in the forest, and if one gets close enough and knocks on the trunk, at just the right location, they will be surprised to find it collapse within. It is a makeshift sort of door that disappears into the apparently hollowed tree.
Venturing inside, one can note the large amount of stairs that lead upwards, the darken area ominous to those that have yet to travel the large expanse. Eventually though, if one is brave enough, they will reach the top where they can escape outside once again. Hidden by the large lower branches, is a platform of heaven. Sheltered by the canopy of leaves and limbs, the area is well protected from the weather. Hammocks of sturdy material are set up precariously around the first floor, roughened blankets available if the need arises. Here, scratched forehead protectors are everywhere, decorating the shinobi, beds, bark and furniture. They are welcomed here, and as one climbs the ladder to the second floor, they see why. A craftsmen has created the place, offering to sell his wares to missing shinobi that have no where else to go. He's a bitter man that does not reveal his name, but he houses these misfits all the same. Food and drink are available to those that stay - just do not get too comfortable. Death is a daily occurrence here and letting one's guard down around fellow missing nin is only stupid.
Rest for night with wary eyes, stock up and leave before you become the blood that reddens the ground below and feeds the roots of this expansive enterprise.
